I visited the McDonald’s on London Road in Sarnia with my wife. I ordered a meal that included a wrap, a hash brown, and a coffee. Unfortunately, the wrap was cold, which was very disappointing. Additionally, when I asked if they could heat up my food, the employee responded in an a passive aggressive manner, as if they were upset, saying: “we don’t do that”. I understand that everyone can have difficult days, but that’s not the right way to address a customer. As someone who also works in customer service, I know how important it is to handle these situations with respect and professionalism. It was embarrassing for me, especially since I was with my wife. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration to improve both the quality of the food and the attitude of the staff. Thank you for your attention.

I went through around 1am with a few family members we all asked politely for extra seasoning and the night time manager navneet or something actually acted extremely disrespectful after our request and did not put on the extra seasoning and continued to act extremely disrespectful through our encounter. Seasoning and no seasoning is a very clear difference one is salty one is not and she argued with us about it at the drive thru and over the phone. Find new staff McDonalds
I was there last week midnight around 2am. There was an Indian girl in black tshirt working she handed me over some free food and drinks. Loved the experience. If anyone wants free food just ask that girl and go after 12am. I have got free food from her quite a lot of times. Great work by overnight staff.
Moved to an open drive thru line and had to wait. Provided my app code and that wouldn’t work so while sorting that out a car came and ordered and drove thru the other line!!! All we ordered was a happy meal and an extra fry. Then we had to pull ahead and wait for fries!! Like 10 min. Very disappointing for what should be fast food. Atleast they were hot!
My mobile code wasn’t showing up and the woman over the speaker was very rude instead of helpful. The attitude was unreal. But whatever so I cancelled the mobile order and placed a new one. More attitude at the window and gave me the wrong drink along with an eye roll. Worst experience ever and this girl shouldn’t have a job here let alone anywhere. Will not be back.
Always make me wait for over 40 minutes for my delivery orders after 12 am. Wastes my shift time, bring out 20 bags together after an hour just to save themselves a round for bringing individual bags. The customers you get from skip are still your customers , but you’re literally out here exploiting drivers for fulfilling the damn orders for your customers. Better turn off the delivery service at night. Save us money can’t be hanging around there for half of my shift. Also the short girl working there, think she is the manager, thinks highly of herself, always seem pissed off, Just mannerless

Manager would not allow dine in despite being open for drive through and dine in, they accepted an order I tried to cancel, but I did not receive the order as I was under the impression it was cancelled. Very upset as I was charged for an order I did not receive. This is now multiple morning the manager refuses to open dine in
Went through drive-thru really late on September 10th (around midnight or so) and had the friendliest server who was quick and kind. Made our night and she deserves the recognition, wish I thought to get her name.

Melissa is a goddess! She went above and beyond her call of the average Mc.Duty. Not only did she put up with our midnight snacking antics, she did it with a dazzling smile. My night went from great to epic with her sense of humor. Please take a moment to praise this employee and those on her shift as they all deserve it. Also the icecream machine was working. May the grimace take you all.
For the price I paid, Im sure I could find a more satisfying meal. $31 for two wraps, two small soft drinks, and two small fries!

Service was quick. Coffee was hot. Donut and muffins were both fresh. Literally every table was dirty and when we mentioned it someone came and wiped a table for us and a few others but not all of them ? Didnt straighten out the seats either. Floor was littered with napkins, straw sleeves and food bits. A supervisor walked through the dining area while we were still there with a clipboard so Im assuming she was checking on things but I guess she didnt notice anything as nobody came to clean and straighten up ! No wonder the place was almost empty ! Used to always be several tables full with coffee club goers ! McDonalds certainly has gone downhill !

This location is always a hit or miss. Night staff seems to hate there jobs.. whoever was at the speaker/window tonight at 12:40-12:43 should really turn off their head set before they made rude remarks.. 3 times we told you what we wanted and you we re not being attentive, then proceed to say oh my but we cut you off before you could finish with your rude comment. Was looking to get a few meals but decided to go else ware. As a person who works in fast food customer service I understand it s not always easy but I am very very disappointed.. many bad encounters the last few weeks but this makes it so I won t return to this location. I m sorry you were having such a bad evening.

April 7. 2:30am. Went with a code. First time giving the code, lady said she didnt hear it. Second time giving the code, she said nothing came up so the third time, I said what the order was for. Lady said ok and then went silent. After wating for her to say something, I said Do you want to know our drink orders?. This prompted the night manager to come on and say Are you gonna effing order?. To this, I said We have tried 3 times to order. The manager continued to give attitude so I drove up to the window. Manager came to the window so I said You can not talk to me like that and she said You werent ordering. And continued to yell at us. So I asked her for her name and she says Night manager is all you need to know and slammed the window shut. Night manager needs to be fired

Ordered and paid on their self service then I got a printer error message.ask for help at the counter just for me to know if my order/payment went through.but the lady (I think who is their supervisor that day-may 27 @1:45pm the lady with a blonde hair ) did not help me and answered me in a rude way.said to just wait,if my order pop up on their screen it means it went through.the thing is I did not even know my ORDER NUMBER! it did not gave me the number thats why im asking if it went through. Just guessed my number,checked if its the food i ordered. Talked to her,but still she is rude on how she talked to me. As if she really doesnt want to talk or help still.
This morning I got a coffee may 29 and went to take a drink and it was cold! So frustrated wrecks your day first thing! And no time to go back! Then I try to call them to tell them for more customers are not upset and goes to the client is not available ughhhhhhh!

The request for no cheese is too difficult for the staff to understand when it comes to burgers. They can comprehend the concept of no dairy in the Ices coffee. But the request to not put cheese on my burger is beyond their cognitive functions.
The staff at this location go above and beyond. I m a regular customer (senior), and get my coffee every day. Tammy, from the night shift is especially good. I completed an online order and my breakfast sandwiches had egg shells, which has never happened. The lady that served me was new but amazing but the blonde in the back ground which is the original employee and was yelling at her saying she stole her counter order and had given me a wrong order which was not thr case. The new attendant was very apologetic and embarrassed. Which no employee should have to deal with that. I usually dont say anything but I was in wow this kerning which really made me decide if Id return to your establishment.

After two years living in Sarnia, I have visited in person and through delivery. Delivery has been awful. Most of the time when I order double filet-o-fish it is either old, or they leave out the second fish. Missing donuts, squashed muffins, missing condiments. The only way to get a reasonable order is to go in person and check your order before leaving. I just deleted the McDonalds app, I am done.
Best location in town to be honest. Only one I ll go to. My rating says a lot... If you want warm food go at dinner time when it s super busy and wait in the long long line where they ll take 3 ppls orders at the other intercom while you just sit there waiting for someone to take your order. Oh don t forget to ask everyone in your car if they want dip bc if they tell you last second at the window the workers get very rude and say you re supposed to pay for those btw and when you offer to pay the 30 cents they ll get more mad and say it s fine and just remember next time and their body language is all moody and sassy while handing you sauce. Also I would recommend getting extra sauce on your burgers bc they barley put any to the point where it feels dry. Also if your drink lacks syrup and you tell someone they ll get all moody with you and be all like whatever instead of fixing the problem like dude my coke is nearly clear this isn t ok. Most of the time the staff is friendly.
Horrible service at the London rd Sarnia location...was waiting for 20 minutes to get our food...3 people got their food before us and came in after us. We waited so long that when we just got seated a guy told us we had to leave in 9 minutes so we left and had to eat in our car. The restaurant was dirty...sticky floors...no ketchup out...staff not friendly...or apologetic for the long wait. Your service was terrible.

This is the worst ever service I got from McDonald I was there on Sunday which is 10dec 2023 night time around 8pm in the drive thru the cashier at the window is Daveine I ordered herb seasoned fries and I checked my fries and I asked the lady that these are not fresh I need hot fries, Well the lady told I couldn t take your fries but can give you another one I said okay Lady returned back and was told by manager to ask my fries .i gave the fries back to her the manager on shift just dumped some more fries in the same box and gave it me again I was not sure it was the same box of fries or another one with box full of fries because the quantity was different . Just because I am an Indian this is an unacceptable service ever I got from the great MCDONALDS

Worst experience
It was a busy night at this McDonalds and I mistakingly decided to go through the drive-thru and order 3 meals, which led to issues and delays with my order. After sitting for 10 mins in the pull ahead and wait for order spots, my meals finally emerged from the restaurant. After a quick 5 min drive home, to open the bags to find cold soggy fries and a Big Mac with a No Cheese label on it...who eats a Big Mac with no cheese, lol. Its my own fault for not checking the bag, when the waitress brought out my food.
I bought donuts 24/dec at this store, took them home and noticed that one was moldy, my son even chewed on it. when I went to the store to show the manager, I was treated by her with the contempt and pride of someone who didnt recognize the problem. the only reaction was not recognizing the visibly damaged product I took and wanting to reimburse me.
They need to put less salt on there fries I have to ask for a new batch with NO salt because even when you say light salt its like they add more

2022-02-04, I got a two-pattied double big mac again. Who is on night shift at this location? It seems 20-25% of my orders were made wrong during night shift over the past 6 months. Also, disable app ordering when you close the restaurant outside regular hours! Its a frustrating process to get refund from McDonalds when this happens.

lol. so with no one in line they made us go to waiting area 1. we waited 8 min with not one new vehicle behind us showing up through drive though. what a joke. lol .. and our food was cold.
You can tell that the labour shortage is affecting this restaurant. The dining room and bathroom were not as clean as they normally are. I wasnt comfortable eaying in the dining room because the tables looked dirty, and the high chairs were gross. The staff seemed stressed, Im sure they were short staffed so I dont blame them. The food was hot and fresh, order was accurate, service was fast. This was not our best experience at this restaurant (or a McDonalds), but it was pretty good considering what they are likely dealing with right now.

Unbelievable pathetically bad service. No one answered the drive thru window for a solid 3 minutes and then when we drove up we got parked for 2 McDoubles while 3 other cars left before us. Whatever youre paying that staff is 3 times too much.
Management and staff are nice. The bad part is all the UBER Eats and Skip Drivers crowding the counters, not respecting social distancing and even reaching around grabbing orders off the counter. There needs to be a designated out door space for them to park and a space for them to pick up their stuff. This is a deterrent for me and often why I do not visit this location.
I ordered take out from skip the dishes. The receipt on the McDonalds bag was correct but the contents were screwed up. Missing large fries and habanero sauces for nuggets, missing straws for the drinks. Skip generously offered skip credits but it was not their fault. It s just frustrating.
I went in with my wife at 3:03:19am order 42. We pulled up amd she ordered. Than i ordered and asked for two double cheese add mac sauce and shredded lettuce. She said anything else. I said yes can we also get a large fry. She said no problem, please pull up to the second window. We did no problem. They didnt give us the large fry. I had to walk in and the door was locked and i got attitude about trying to come in. The lady than said you didnt order it i have the receiot inside? We had to go back through the drive through. When we pulled up she said large fry and i said yes like i ordered and she said you didnt nice try though...had to pay full price and got attitide from them all. Will never be back there again. I managed a mcdonalds for years and i cant believe how we were treated. We just got back from a long roadtrip and just wanted food. So dissapointed. Talk to these people they ruined our appetite!

I havent been more ashamed of a restaurant. My daughter is a fussy eater, so when she likes something its a nice relief. Thanks to the arrogant, incompetent sloths at this location my daughter went hungry. If you dont like your job, leave it! Trust me, the industry would be better without you in it. She asked for extra Mayo, seems straight forward enough, how could you actually mess that up? Apparently, by pouring the Mayo on it and sending it out of the kitchen. You would think that one of the 8 people standing around would have caught this mess while placing the burger in the bag. Failed again! When I called to let them know what a very disgruntled employee did..........the manager simply stated that there wasnt anything he could do to make the situation right, nothing he could do about the good money I paid for the food now in the garbage. Is that a joke? Customer service has yet again passed you by.
Their drive through is one of the quickest in town. Orders are always accurate and the customer service is great. Food is always fresh. Their dining room is well maintained as well. Very nice McDonald s! Thank you.

When I go here they are always consistently good and unlike other mcdonalds, (petrolia) they dont mess up your order, the drink always actually tastes like the drink you ordered. I orderr from petrolia mcdonalds a simple nestea, and it always tastes like orange for some reason. Its been more than a few times of that happening. But these guys are great even if they take a bit sometimes, its always always worth it. They are super friendly and I would recommend ten times over.
I gave the girl working the window tonight around 3am $50 for a $14 bill, she tried to give me $30 as change and got angry and verbally abusive when I told her she was $6 short. We full out got in an argument, and after I wouldnt back down, she grabbed the $6 she had sitting beside the window (fully knowing it was mine) and gave it to me before shutting the window. Try hiring staff that isnt trying to rip people off and cuss at customers. Absolutely pathetic. Not to mention they only gave me a medium fry instead of a large fry. I understand this is your only mcds option late at night but wow...

When you pay extra for a caramel latte and an xtra shot of espresso and their latte machine is down they say sorry and offer something else but dont bother bringing up a refund for the difference in price. Thanks for stealing my money.... pathetic service... Edit: I called to speak with a manager and got the same person who served me and rather than over any kind of appology she tried to belittle me over the price difference. Its not about the dollar amount lady its about doing what is correct.

This place has been open until 2-4 am all my life. Today the drive thru was blocked off so I decide to knock on the door. I knock 3 times while 3 workers were sound at work. Not coherent whatsoever I kept banging on the door until your worker walked over and then continued to snap at me for banging loud on the door you guys need to grow up! Are you kidding me for this to be a professional establishment this is unacceptable let alone the fact that she has been accused of said things. I am publicly never visiting McDonald s again, harassment is not necessary neither should it be tolorated during the court of law.

Staff experience has been very mixed, with some members yelling at me over simple misunderstandings, but most of the team is nice. Has closed in the middle of the day unannounced in the past, leaving orders, sometimes already paid for, stranded. Food is usually below the expected quality. Being open 24 hours and being fairly clean are about the only benefits to this place.
Every time I give this place another shot I regret it. Redeemed some free food through monopoly pieces and at the window they called over the manager and spent many minutes processing something that should have been immediate. When i got home i found out why - food was swapped for cold and stale food because it was monopoly prize food. Ive never had a crunchy bun before but you know its stale to be like that. Not to mention cold, stale and undercooked fries. Too bad i couldnt give zero stars
My partner was ripped off 10 000 points here when getting a big mac using their points. (Double charged somehow) When they went back and talked to management they said theres nothing they can do. How hard is it to give someone whose a loyal customer a voucher for their points back in the future. Theres an app but when it comes down to customer service: is it that hard to keep your customers happy? Its a simple fix.. Not to mention the app is useless for this mix up. Poor customer service

Staff is slow and so useless to the point theyd rather do something like say sorry we stop ice cream at *insert random time* every night than clean their machine and continue selling items in their menu. Or that their chicken nuggets are going to be a 30 minute wait but Frys would be immediate. Original post 2020: Foods progressively getting worse and corona began the menu has changed... But you can never see a menu because they keep changing the screen/half the screen shuts off for the order in the other lane.

The night manager is very rude!
This location served me a breakfast sandwich which had a burned bun. Anyone putting it together would have seen that but the person just didnt care ,I could tell because of the smirk on the person in the back when they saw it. The person I gave it to was embarrassed to see it.
London rd location in sarnia is absolutely the worst management..5pm went inside to order 14min later i had to ask them to please take my order..9 skip the dishes orders were more important than customers in store and 16 cars in drive thru...this is the worst organization Ive ever seen..Bad management makes chaos.

Ill give 1 extra star ONLY because the food is good and usually fresh since they are 24/7. Most unprofessional staff in the evenings however. When I go in the restaurant and get yelled at and told to leave, by 2 people at the same time, because they close the inside dining at midnight, then DONT HAVE YOUR DOORS UNLOCKED! How dare you yell at any customer, should be fired. Also drive through, want to get a coffee, next to be served, since they have 2 speakers, pick the shortest lane , no one there, told me to wait a minute, another person pulls up and they take THEIR order for their whole family. All I wanted was a coffee.. I was there first. This was 2 separate incidents and I have had plenty more before this, enough now to not remember how many, also to write a review and never return. Thanks for making the world Fat again McDonalds.
