Best Indian food I ve ever had!

We were invited for Breakfast at SITARA in Point Edward and unknown to us prior they served Breakfast daily and it s definitely was very good and we really appreciated the hospitality by all staff and management who personally came over to make sure we were satisfied with our meal

Visited Sitara recently, heard about it from friends and went to try their food from another city. We ordered chicken biryani, chicken pakora and ginger tea/chai. Chicken pakora was good but the chai didn t have any ginger in it and had no taste. Chicken biryani was also so bad with heavy masala which tasted like stored ones. We did tell the lady at the reception and she made the chai herself and got it. Then it tasted so better and the chicken biryani was also replaced and got better but not a best one. Thanks to the lady.

Friendly people and decent food. Chicken chilly was a bit too sour - a slight amount of reduction in the souring agent will make it just fine. The daal makhani was made with oil rather than butter. Chicken Korma was very flavorful.

We stopped here on the way to home from the states for the dinner. Great ambiance with great food, value and amazing host Rahim!! He was very welcoming and enjoyed conversation with him throughout the dinner. Highly recommend for food and hospitality.

If you re a foodie like me, you ll love this place! The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes, and we loved everything we tried. We only had good comments about the food. Hands down, some of the best food I ve had recently! They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each dish is done the right way. The Butter Chicken with rice and naan was especially memorable. Must try! Don t forget to order the Veg Samosa best in the town with perfect amount of spices ..And at last don t forget the staff was so polite in depth detail about the each dishes Specially Rahim as he explain us all the menu with allergy and spice level Sitara Restaurant Rocks

We ordered samosas, butter chicken, veg korma and garlic Naan with rice. The samosa appeared to be a week old and reheated daily since made. It crumbled upon touch. The veggies in the Korma were so old and soggy that they tasted like the 40 year old cooler they came out of. Disgusting quality. Wish it was the way it used to be. Oh well!

The food was delicious and well priced. I ordered the saag paneer and it had quite a lot of paneer. Some places the entrées mostly sauce with a couple pieces of meat or cheese, not this place. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Were from our of town but I would definitely go back if we were ground ourselves in Sarnia again.

Wonderful customer service and great food!! We enjoy Indian food and eat it regularly. This is by far some of the best Indian food weve had and the service was excellent. Great vegetarian options and they are so willing to accommodate, and they delivered!! I highly recommend!

It was amazing food , unexpected in Sarnia

We went there on Sunday evening for dinner. Initial impressions were good. But, when the foods were served, then we realized that the foods were not up to the marks and visually appealing with less quantity compared to any standard Indian restaurants. Sprimp Vindalu - gravy was just full of ketchup with proper spices though weve requested for spicy one. Chicken Tikka Masala - same non-spicy one with chicken quality, not sure, but tastes not up to the mark. Will not recommend it to my Indian fellows for this one.

Daal makhani is legit

I was going to Windsor with my friends and we stopped at this restaurant. The food was good , taste was good , the only problem we had was the quantity they gave other than that everything was great. Raheem was the name of the guy who made of our dishes , he is really good.

I have ordered butter chicken and garlic naan the other day as I have heard about their butter chicken a lot. Well, it was okayish. However, my concern was the naan bread. It didn t seem freshly made and it was hard to take bite off! Didn t taste even much garlicky!

I live in Niagara, on a road trip I stopped in for lunch at Sitara. I didnt know about the place. Everything was fantastic. Great food and the two ladies that looked after me treated me like a king. What a beautiful experience. If there would be six stars for the service I would have given six stars. On my next visit to the area I know now where I get delicious food with fantastic service. Ordered 2 curry one chicken butter masala and one Panner butter masala Chicken was really good but got Panner Tikka masala instead of butter masala After requesting the guy on counter to confirm and change it, he said its butter masala only what we ordered but he was completely wrong as I used to work at restaurant once so I know the difference, even anyone else even could figure that out Got me another curry after denying for couple of times and charged me for both giving 5% discount!

Google reviews are misleading. The food was below average. I am disappointed with the samosa and biriyani that I ordered. The biriyani was too sour and I couldn t finish it. Not worth the price we pay.

Visited on the way to Michigan. Samosa were so crispe fresh and yummy. Green fresh chutni and yummy sauce. My husband liked tea and ordered twice. We stopped again on the way back and had Daal and tawa roti. Good experience. Good service friendly staff, Especially Rahim was excellent.

We had gone to Sarnia to meet my sisters and their families who were coming over from across the border for a lunch get together. We chose Sitara as this was conveniently located and we wanted to try some Indian food in a less crowded place as we were a group of 8. The food here is fantastic and they have a variety of cuisine to choose from. We had vegetarian and the food was awesome. Our host,Rahim is very courteous and friendly and it was a delight to interact with him. He makes one of the best Margaritas and I highly recommend trying it out. Neat and cosy food joint and a.decent ambience. Vegetarian options: We had vegetarian food and there are a lot of dishes from Paneer to Aloo to choose from.

So I didnt have many high hopes with this place when I decided to order pakora and samosa from here. The lovely rainy weather made me do it. BUT BUT BUT... the owner let me customize the chai - which turned out to be awesome btw.., the samosas are tastier than any I have had in Canada, and Paneer pakoda is super soft and tasty. The biggest part - their tamarind chutney tastes like tamarind chutney and not sugar water. Which for me is BIG plus. Id want the quantity of green chutney to be slightly more. but not a major negative Id say. I only ordered take out so no comments on the service. But the girl on phone and the owner Manjit ji were very professional and polite. Big Kudos to this place!!

Visited for the first time. Overall good experience. We were 9 people and all felt the same. Good people, welcoming atmosphere, yummy food. We tried Garlic Naan, Aloo Paratha, Masala Dosa, Lamb Biriyani, Chicken Tikka Masala Curry, Madras Chicken Curry and Chilly Chicken. Everything was good. They treated us well. I went from Brampton to Sarnia because the company truck had to be taken to America. I was feeling very hungry, its late evening and quickly searched on google, and on top was Sitara Restaurant. When I went there, I feel so happy because there was no so much crowd, quite place and all over cleanliness that made good impression. I found restaurant Sitara, Where everything is Piyaara Even, while selecting menu, I was lit bit confused, the restaurant owner treated me in a good way and helped me in selecting vegetables items to be eat during the dinner. I wish god this kind of restaurant should be in Brampton too. Because the food was amazing, paneer butter masala, paneer malaayi, and tandoori roti. Everything was freshed, made with good quality. They treated me like a family member. Thank you for making great day and all blessings are with you to have what you need to move forward and continue to grow in city.

I went to Sombra for a vacation and while driving around found this spot with a comprehensive food menu. I was intrigued to try it out, but I was so disappointed with the taste of everything that I picked it ended up killing my appetite. Specially Tandoori Chicken and Masala dosa were burnt and far from edible. This is definitely not what Indian food tastes like.

We ordered delivery and this was hands down the BEST Indian food I ve had in any restaurant in southwestern Ontario. We ve tried many places in London and surrounding area and there is no comparison. We thoroughly enjoyed the tikka masala, tandoori legs, shrimp biryani and their delicious naan bread. We aren t super into a ton of spice and appreciated that they could accommodate different spice levels. The flavours were incredible and we absolutely will be back, hopefully for a dine in experience!

We went to sarnia Beach and gave try to sitara indian restaurant located in sarnia. Amazing dhabaa, great flavor and taste we can taste in each and everything we ordered. We ordered dahi balla, paneer butter masala, garlic naan, dal fry, jeera rice and gajar halwa. Everything had great price and taste. Special thanks to Rahim who gave excellent service.

Madrasi driving through Sarnia and stopped for some Punjabi food. Delicious garlic naan and super lacha paratha. Not to mention really inexpensive. The waiter and host / proprietor were both just tremendously welcoming and kind. Highly recommended for anyone in the area.

The food was awful, and they served such small portions that we all were hungry. For a tray of Biriyani which was supposed to server 8-9 people, there were hardly 3-4 small pieces of chicken. It was a complete waste of money, and I wouldn t recommend it to anyone. Terrible food and not enough of it - a total letdown.

It is a must visit in Sarnia if you are looking for Indian cuisine. The food taste is on point and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend this place especially for its food taste. We tried Goat curry, Dal Maakhni, Chicken tandoori with rice and roti and everything was excellent.

We went to Sarnia from GTA with friends and was looking for some Indian food as we were hungry. After seeing google review ordered for chicken biriyni and samosa. First impression was cost. It is almost double price than GTA. When we taste it, we found it s very average with some small boneless chickens. My friends and I didn t like it at all. Samosa s taste was good but it was too oily.

I visited recently Sitara London road,there was exceptional service provided by Rahim working in front. Also the owner was very humble and approachable. I really appreciate the hospitality, which will push me visit frequently to have my meal at this place.

Enjoyed an authentic Indian meal after so long here. Thank to Mr. Rahim, he personally came to us and asked regarding the quality of food and if we are satisfied with the food. Moreover, he also gave us complimentary fish and vegetables fritters which were like icing on the cake.

The worst place one can ever think of having a Biriyani. Biriyani was dry, lack of flavour and the chicken pieces were dry,small diced pieces and horrible taste. I also order Indian samosas, it was good in taste but it was super drenched in oil which I didn t like.

I shouldn t admit this, but I order from Sitara probably once a week through skip. I usually get the exact same thing and I feel like one of these days I should go in person and dine in and try something new. The only negative I can say is occasionally the vegetable samosas are quite oily, but the flavour is still good and that doesn t stop me from eating them and ordering them time and time again.

I ordered chole bature (ohh actually they are Puri) from here. Totally waste of money. Totaly disappointed. Gulab jamun s are sugar free.

Sitara never disappoints! Whenever we are in the area it is our go to restaurant.We ordered vegetable pakora,Malai kofta, chilli paneer, Mysore masala dosa, and carrot halwa and chai. We dont often stray from our favorites as we love the aromatic flavors of the dishes we have chosen. Service is always prompt and courteous. Truly enjoyed our meal.

Awful, We ordered Karaih Paneer and received Karaih Chicken. Don t know if this has happened earlier with anyone or not but it was definitely shocking for us. And there was no compensation from their end just a sorry. Would never go there again and will request every vegetarian to make sure that the food they receive is veg and not non veg. Wish I could give 0 stars. Vegetarian options: Ordered Veg food and received non veg food.

If I had an option of -10 that s what would have gone over here. Please don t make idli if you have no idea how its supposed to be made . Or else please do provide a knife with it / have a note below my receipt saying. Soke in sambhar for an hour before you eat it . Dude I almost choked myself eating those two coin sized stuff which you call Idli.

We hired Sitara to cater our wedding this past weekend, and I cannot fully describe how giddy I was as I watched them cook their naan on site in a tandoor oven. The food was EXCELLENT and I had many compliments from guests about the food, which also easily accommodated the various dietary restrictions at the wedding. I was also impressed that the food was almost all eaten, but there was still enough that guests who wanted seconds were able to have them. Absolutely perfect, thank you Sitara!

I ordered Mysore masala dosa. The food taste was so amazing. They packed it very nicely. I love to visit here again. Thank you for the delicious food sitara.

Very nice food. I was visiting with family from London. Best Indian food. Also, owner is very nice, he kept on asking about food quality. If want to have best Indian food come here and enjoy.

Tasted the best vegan (no dairy) Indian food here. Coming from US, crossed the border and looking for an Indian restaurant, am glad I tried Sitara; 2 weeks vacay stay in canada and am yet to find a restaurant that is as good if not better. Looking forward to a delicious meal again on the way back to US

The food was excellent and truly authentic to taste. The servers were very welcoming, professional and the owner was very personable and attentive to every table. Better than our favourite place in Toronto!

1. TADKA DAL - there is no tadka in the dal. Who eats Dal like this? and quantity is a very small portion. 2. JEERA RICE- there is no jeera in rice at least put jeera in rice, dry plain rice, I order 2-time jeera rice, I thought someone made a mistake 1st time so I order 2nd time with clear instructions still they serve plain rice and charged me jeera rice. A small amount of quantity. Very disappointed 3. PANI PUTI - I mean we hardly eat Pani puri there is nothing in pani puri, only 2-3 chana? At least fill up Pani puri with masala, please . I would not give 1 star also. I wish I can give them 0. Dont go there and save your time and money. Very pathetic food. Do I have to show my credit card statement as proof? makes sense. You are not a kid, try to accept your Mistakes and resolve them and try to understand customer issues. Dont be rude. Very disappointed

I have had the most amazing experience with the staff at sitara the customer service is impeccable the gentleman we were dealing with Rahim was so friendly and amazing and their food is on another level!!!! I cant say thank you guys enough for the experience we had there....we will be back there 1000% just incredible service and staff and food!!!

So good!!! We really enjoyed the food truck in Wallaceburg. We havent seen the truck in some time.. Hopefully they come back. We went to the new location in Sarnia and was not disappointed. It was soo good! Already talking about going back to try a few new things. Please come back to Wallaceburg! Awesome staff as well.

Good food, a tad pricy though

The food taste was terrible. It seemed to be rotten. Koftas was very hard and we couldnt break it with spoon. I am not going to order anything from here.
