Went to pick up the huge lasagna for 146.00 and brought it home to cook . They have cut back on the meat sauce and cheese and they lasagne when taking it out of the pan was falling apart and u could hardly see meatsauce. I have ordered this many times and never had a complaint but this was horrible. Must be a new cook or they r just cheating out . But for 146.00 plus tip this is ridiculous. Won't be ordering agian and will be spreading the news that they have changed and r skimping on items.
This is an excellent place to eat with family and friends. It is my daughter's favourite. She even named her pet "Cosmo" because she loves this food so much. Those bread rolls - 😋 we'd come in just for those!
Stopped here for an early dinner. Got the clubhouse sandwich and my bf got the salisbury steak, my kids got the spaghetti and hamburger kids meals. Food was okay, nothing special. The bun was fresh and delicious, the sandwich was cold and hard, coleslaw was good. The steak was bland but the veggies and potatoes were good. Hamburg was dry and overcooked. This and 2 sodas cost about $60+. The restaurant was clean with lots of seating. Service was ok, bathrooms were clean but had to go down a flight of stairs and not very accessible for everyone.
I love Cosmos for so many reasons! The buns are UNREAL… honestly that’s reason enough for me to go there BUT there’s more! Their family meals are awesome huge try of pasta, family salad and 4 of their famous buns! Staff have been there for decades and are lovely! Pricing is a deal!
Cosmo’s restaurant is fantastic. We enjoyed their delicious Soup and Pizza, both of which were excellent. The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. We traveled from Toronto and had a truly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it.
Amazing family meal for $45 plus tax. I think it can easily feed up to 7 people. That was my first time trying it, and I really like it. Unfortunately, my lasagna was not warm enough. I was told to pick it up in 30 min, and I showed up exactly in 30 min. I think they only needed 15, and it was sitting waiting for me what makes it cold. I'll definately order again.
The best chicken Caesar I have ever had! So much meat, and I must say it was packaged very well with the meat and cheese seperated from the salad. God job!
I'm a real critic when I comes to restaurant food. And this place is at the top. We came for the first time for lunch. Food was eccellent, affordable, very lage portions everyone brought left overs home. We will definitely come back for super in the future to try it.
Alittle expensive $15 for a sandwich frys are extra almost $5 more.

Fabulous French fries. Basic dining room but good food at reasonable prices and excellent service Parking: If restaurant is busy you may have to walk past 12 cars to get to the oor but as a great deal of the business is take out you know a closer spot will come available quickly
It was OK. The food was good. The waitress was wonderful. We would not be able to take my mom due to no handicap accessibility.

Cosmos is always good. It seems like it has been around forever. I recall when the building or a portion of it was move to the Capel St. location in about the early 60s. The 3 Little Pigs BBQ was a short lived restaraunt on North Christina St.. It seems that nobody remembers this bbq place but me. Cosmos and Enzo was about the only place in Sarnia to get pizza for many years. Cosmos usually has a lunch special and a daily special as well as its regular offerings as well as a wine list.

Took home a family lasagna meal. Everyone really enjoyed it. It was a generous tray of lasagna, salad, and home made buns.

Great food, Wonderful service, Funny hours! Posted in the picture from top left: Lunch sized cheese capaletti, dinner sized capaletti, and Gyro at the bottom. Prices and quality are absolutely ON point. Dine in until 16:00 and take out until 19:00. If you havent already tried it, I suggest you do!
This was my first time here and wont be my last. The portions were huge, and the flavor amazing. The buns were gigantic. Prices were great for what you get and the staff very friendly. Will definitely be visiting again.

Had takeout as there is not the option for dine in after 4pm. Salad was an immediate throw out...it was all wilted and sitting in a puddle of water in the container. Only the middle of the bun was edible as the outside was hard and crusty - whipped butter that came with it was all separated in the container. Pasta was ok - tasted good but was nothing I couldnt have made at home -- I remember a much different sauce on the capaletti.
In the past we have raved about Cosmos cheese cappaletti. The sauce was almost a rose and it was so cheesy. We ordered 2 large pans for a family gathering and nobody liked it. Not what it used to be. Wont be getting that again.
Had a great meal ...food was excellent with large portions for a reasonable price..good service as well..place was in need of a bit if updating decor wise ...but had an old school restaurant vibe..we all enjoyed it... Parking: Lots of parking Wheelchair accessibility: Not really as there are stairs when u enter the restaurant

Been going here since I was a kid. As like others I didn t go for years, and then ordered take out family meal. Well I ve tried everyone of them now and have not been disappointed. So much good food every time!!! Keep it up.
We had the family lasagna dinner with Caesar salad and the buns. What a delicious, delicious meal!! Portion sizes are great. First time ordering, but wont be our last! Thanks for a great meal!!! Went for lunch a couple of weeks ago. I had the chicken BLT and fries. It was excellent! Great portion size, price and service. Will definately have that again!!
Italian take out as we were heading to Michigan. Selected Cosmos from google and it didn t disappoint. Had the lasagna, large portion and very tasty! No in restaurant dining after 4 pm on Fridays, FYI.

Eat in only between 11 am and 4 pm, no thanks. When youre looking for a supper and they offer take out only, i will pass. I cant speak to the food or service as i left immediatly. There are plenty of other options out there, and i would sudgest trying out another

Eaten there a couple times now. Lasagna is amazing as is the cheese capaletti. Going for the veal parmigiana next. The bun you get with your meal is huge and delicious.

Pretty good generally, large family portions are great, excellent grated cheese, bonus shake on chilie flakes on the side, huge homemade buns, lasagna hit and miss, can be great can be ok, gonna try the cappeletti tonight, see how it goes, but like every restaurant nothing is perfect, overall thumbs up

Had lasagna family meal and wine delivered to my mom for her birthday (the order was delivered by On the Dot). The lasagna was excellent and the portion sizes huge.
Oh my gosh ! We stopped at Cosmos for some pasta. What a delicious meal. Lots of great food and generous proportions. We absolutely love the huge melt in your mouth buns at Cosmos. Service was very friendly and our food came out so quick. Definitely will be visiting again when in town.

Forgot how amazing the dinner rolls are here. My meal was hot and delicious. Our waitress was also lovely and very friendly.
The place was fine. Fast service. Friendly. Children welcome kids eat free under 10 Monday-thursday. Not very expensive

I always love coming to Cosmos. You can count on a meal that tastes great at an affordable price. I would highly recommend to anyone. The family lasagna meal is great for a group or just to take home and have some leftovers for the next few days. Usually comes with amazing bread, a good salad, and a large lasagna capable of feeding about 8 adult sized portions. Love this restaurant and will continue coming back regularly

yikes, just ordered two spaghettis with meat balls for take out and it was super dry and the meat balls tasted EXACTLY like cat food. Im not saying that it was cat food, but this one time it just wasnt for me. :(
Food and service was just ok. Waitress stood around and talked to other employee while cook in the back frantically rang the bell in the back. I ordered the hot hamburger sandwich with fries and vegetables. The vegetables are frozen and then steamed. Ok except for the fact that they leave a large puddle of water on the plate which turns the bread into slimy mush. The sandwhich was just a previously frozen patty on two pieces of wonder bread covered in gravy. Gravy was very salty and burger was not great. Fries were very good however. Restaurant itself is nice. Gives a diner feel but the food just did not do the same. I would be willing to give it a second shot however but probably not right away. Update; Gave Cosmos Tavern another try tonight. Unfortunately it is even worse than it was last time. Service is very slow and building is dirty/deteriorating. The food now seems like the chef (I use the term chef loosely) has just given up. I ordered the veal parmesan with alfredo pasta. The veal is in fact a frozen veal cutlet with a piece of cheese melted on top. The alfredo sauce is definetly from a jar and reheated. This is my last visit to Cosmos Tavern as I will definitely not be back. You couldnt pay me to come back to this place. Gone from a 3 star to a zero star in my books, unfortunately still have to give it one. Avoid at all costs. FYI: McDonalds is not far and will definetly be a better meal.

This was a popular spot growing up here in the 1980s and it still is. Ordered pizza, which was very good. Service was fine. Would go back.

Bring an appetite. In fact, bring two or four. Cosmos is the place to go in Sarnia if you want good Italian food and tons of it. Every meal comes with a small loaf of bread and if you have a group you can order family style. A pot of pasta arrives at the table and half a pot of pasta leaves after everyone is full!

I absolutely adore Cosmos! Their cheese cappelletti is delicious (and their massive fluffy dinner rolls), and the atmosphere is cozy. I feel like I am getting a hearty home-cooked meal at my mom s place.
