I’ve been going to Italia for 30 years…. I used to live in Sarnia, and now it Peterborough. I come back usually monthly, and always stop in for Super Deluxe with extra cheese! Best pizza by far! Always, great, and the staff is always friendly.
I wish dining was open. So I could enjoy myself in the setting my parents spent a good chunk of their relationship at.
I was born and raised in New Jersey just 20 minutes from New York City. My home area had some of the best pizza in the world. When I moved to central Canada 17 years ago, no pizza ever came close. We moved to Petrolia not too long ago and have tried several pizzerias. Pizza Italia is the closest thing to the taste of NY/NJ pizza and I’m thrilled to have found it. The taste, texture, sauce, toppings and cheese are everything I’ve been missing and craving from home! Thank you for making a great pizza that tastes like home again.
Soo let's start off with this was my favorite place to get pizza in sarnia , but just seems like they don't care anymore at all... I orderd my usual large just cheese cooked well done pizza and not extra cheese or anything just plain Jane and we'll I received basically a pizza pudding the pizza doh wasn't even cooked and there was so much cheese on it that it was basically a soggy cheese ball with some uncooked pizza doh in it... What a shame to see such a Great place go down like that...
We love their pizza. Won't go anywhere else anymore. Consistently great and we always ask them to cut the tomatoes and onions smaller for us and they have no.problem doing that!
Possibly Sarnia's best pizza if you like that New York floppy style, you just need to travel to the "scaaaary" south-end of Sarnia in Mitton Village(I'm kidding of course, don't be scared to come down here). The dough actually tastes fermented and is not just a cracker texture tasteless topping holder. The sauce is soooooo good with a powerful tomato herb flavour and is not watered down at all(this wins for best in Sarnia). My only thing is a personal choice that the pizza has too much cheese, so next time I'll ask for easy on the cheese and see what happens. It'll take some fine tuning for my order I think to get it perfect.
Had to update this as Italia's will now be my go-to pizzeria. The pizza is pretty mid to decent. It's of course not perfect but it's good. Most of the time I find the crust is maybe very slightly overcooked for my personal preference but I can eat it without the crusts. It is the closest to the old style of Firenzie's pizzeria out of all the options in town (not quite as good but it's a decent attempt). They always drop your food off much faster than estimated time, it is much more reasonably priced than Firenzie's, they ALWAYS answer the phone and the consistency of the pizza remains the same every time I order. So the pizza cooks have clearly been properly trained. Due to Firenzie's losing a star or two I have added it to my rating of Italia's Pizzeria.
Hands down the BEST pizza in Sarnia. Fresh ingredients combined with fast and friendly service.

Personally my favorite pizza place in Sarnia. They are usually busy though so its usually about an hour for a pizza.

Absolutely the worst customer service, especially with people with disabilities and speech impediments not very impressed wasnt a big deal but, it elevated over the phone plan not to call this place unless you can speak perfectly clearly and probably not even drink coffee
If you have any type of speaking impairment like a lisp, or an accent they will say that you re impaired they are really rude to people with disabilities an not only that but the last couple of times I have got pizza from there parts of it wasn t cooked . The building is getting old it use to be an old bank back in the day . What i understand is that they have to keep up to code for everything an if you don t give them a tip they get mad
The panzeroti is amazing. The crust is so full of flavor and the sauce really ties everything together 10/10 would recommend Its also nice to pop in and grab a slice to go
Switched it up from always ordering pizza to Panzerotti. Really good now hooked on them. Food
My husband loves #21 loves the thin crust. I eat gluten free.....it was the worst gf pizza I have ever had . I had to make my own. Take it off the menu please.

Every single time that we order from this place, our order is completely wrong. Tonight I ordered a panzarotti and got a pizza? My buddy ordered a pizza and specifically said no meat as he is a vegan and it came loaded with meat. This happens every time we order Overtime meals and by the time we get it here at work it s too late. He will go hungry again. This place is a joke Vegetarian options: No meat means no meat. What is hard to understand Never ordering again from here
I hate to do this, but someone there has been messing with the original recipe, and its not a one time thing. Ownership, please look into this. Its still decent, but not as good as it once was.

Only place my work gets a overtime meal from. Place doesn t answer the phone at 8:30 on a Saturday. Horrible service and I would never spend my own money on it
Would be good if they would put more than a teaspoon of sauce on their pizza. If you hate sauce this is your place! If you like light sauce, ask them to add some. Not kidding!

Food here is absolutely amazing, favourite spot for pizza, wings, and panzerotis. (Pizzas are to die for) Overally a great party food place. However the service, specifically over the phone is terrible. Expect to be put on hold 4 different times for 20 minutes each time before actually ordering anything, and be ready to call 2 hours in advance.
Best place to buy wings from PERIOD. Their wing prices are by far the best around and the size of their wings are monstrous. This is my go-to place for wings and you should make it yours as well. There pizza and subs are decent too (Id say 3 star), but there wings are a 10 out of 5, so Ill give them a 5 star all around solely because of their wings.
My third time I walked in to get a slice, and the past 3 times the pizza looks like its been sitting there for weeks. Place is declining quality...

The pizza here hasnt changed in decades the flavor is the same and definitely worth it they are always polite and courteous and no matter what you always get the Italia flavor the crust is one of my favorite parts yet if I get pizza elsewhere I dont eat the crust its chewy and not like a bread more like a chewy bun I recently italia to everyone who reads this you will not be disappointed
The puffio/panzerotti is great. It has so much cheese! They aren t chintzy on the toppings and the crust is tasty. It s a bit expensive, but I find it s worth it. There are a lot if mediocre pizza places in Sarnia and I think Italia would be in my top 3.

Great pizza. Close to mitton village. Thinner crust yummy sauce. I always think there pizza is better well done or it is kind wet in the middle. And the crust just taste so much better that way. The favorite topping hot pineapple ham,bacon.

First time in town. Cook to perfection. My wife, whom is regarded not only by myself but by everybody who try her food as a good cook, gave it 9.5 out of 10. The 0.5 she left out is because se could not eat her whole share, it was to much. We will come back for a different one before we leave Sarnia.

Pizza tasted good, a bit floppy. Crust is okay. I dont think they use fresh mushrooms but I could be wrong. Could of been cooked longer. Panzerotti was very good but not enough sauce to go with it. I was going to first try Sissios since it was recommended by a friend but they didnt open until 3pm.

Youd think after spending every lunch break I could grabbing a slice, ranch & a pop (throughout elementary & high-school) that I may loose interest or appetite... however, Italias Pizzeria still holds the title for the best pizza, hands down!!!

We visit Sarnia every 4-6 weeks on average. Usually everytime we visit we pick up a pizza. We usually get take out but have eaten in the store before. Just your very basic pizza place, nothing fancy but absolutely delicious pizza. Good prices and friendly staff. Food was amazing.

If youre going to eat pizza in Sarnia, this is one pizza joint you have to try! It has great prices and the pizza is more of an old, Italian-style. I personally love going there for a slice!

My friend ordered and goT double billed, when he went to go correct the charges, he had to provide bank statements, which was fine the statements were stamped and notarized. Still after providing such documents he had to put up with racial remarks just to get $18 back, which he eventually got a refund for. CANADA DOESNT LIKE RACISM!
If i could take stars i would and it only let me post if i gave 1 star so put a minus. the pizza is pretty good but the owner is a racist thief. his debit machine said 1 charge was declined and 1 went through but my bank showed both charges when i went back to get a refund he said he knows my kind im a person of colour so that was offensive. I cant believe the hate still lives and that alone should kill this business

Great pizza and panzorotti. However, my order gets screwed up about 40% of the time. Mostly just toppings missing or on different pizzas.

Place needs an overhaul to be a sit in. It s like eating in a food court. I have a soft spot for Italia from getting slices here in high school. That being said I d order from 3 or 4 other places before Italia.

Had a pizza delivered it arrived in a soggy box, when I called to complain the cookie asked me to come cook it myself, had cardboard stuck to the pizza it wasnt edible
Omg the owners when we went in where screaming and fighting horribly with each other, totally not called for running a business, owner closed and locked door behind us. Just crazy.
