265 Front St N, Sarnia, ON N7T 7X1, Canada
Welcome to our new river side restaurant in the heart of downtown Sarnia. We are located at 265 Front St N in the St Clair Corporate Center. Parking is available on the north side and access to our place is available around back.
My wife and I hired the Grind to cater our wedding. We had a cocktail hour style wedding reception with the Grind catering some amazing apps. It was over the summer and people are still talking about the food! Melissa was super attentive, accommodating and easy to work with. I was definitely impressed and would highly recommend them. They went above and beyond to make our day a special one!
First time sitting down for a meal at Grind Catering and I was pleasantly impressed with it all. We showed up as a group of 20 guys for our year end soccer party which can definitely create a challenge for the waitress and the kitchen but the whole staff knocked it out of the park. We even needed another table and our server Jess didn’t hesitant to accommodate us. She also made sure that the drinks kept flowing out to our tables. The food was exceptional. I ordered Pad Thai and it was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. I also tried a bite of the Lamb Shank and wow that was unreal too! Overall it was a positive experience for myself as I don’t tend to eat out often because I’m very skeptical of what I get for the price I pay but everything from the food, service and price was spot on. Definitely will go back again to try another dish! I highly recommended!
Amazing food and service will go again! Recommend reservations as a small good vibe of a restaurant! We all had great dishes: Tuna poke bowl Greek creamy salad Eggplant lasagna soup of the day: Chilli
Our server was fabulous! The food was out of this world amazing!!! We got the Greek wrap, veggie soup and pad thai. The pad thai was the best we have ever had. What a mind blowing first time in Canada food experience! Everyone needs to try this place!!!
We had a private afternoon wedding celebration for our son and daughter in law, who had gotten married out of province and we wanted to have a local party. On short notice Melissa offered her venue at The Grind. We had booked another venue and The Grind was going to cater. When we found out just a month before the celebration that the original venue had double booked our date and left us hanging, Melissa was our guardian angel and saved the day by offering to host the venue at her restaurant. It was nothing short of perfect! And was way better than the original venue ever would have been! It was a casual chic event. Everyone mingled on the patio and within the restaurant. Super easy going atmosphere. THE FOOD was amazing. Numerous appetizers rolled out in waves as the servers, including Christine, (Melissa’s mom) mingled and engaged with the guests as they brought their trays of delicious goodies. This went on for three hours! It was fabulous. No one left hungry. Ben, the bartender, was so much fun and so personable. There is a genuine love of working there amongst the team. You just feel it and it shows in their quality of service and food. We have been to The Grind many times. This was our first private event. We felt very privileged to host an event there and we can’t thank Melissa and her team enough for their professionalism and enthusiasm.
A gorgeous location right on the river (with the option to dine on the patio). Modest food servings sizes were tasty and well presented; though I prefer a few more veggies. Service was friendly, though we were not sure who are server was because a few different people brought us food.... When we received our good half of our group needed to wait for their utensils as we were told "they are still in the dishwasher." So we waited a couple minutes. We were with a group of 8 customers, but the pairs at either end could not hear each other because the restaurant is lively and noisy. A small irritation for a couple of us we needed to adjust our chairs to avoid hitting a wall ornament with our heads
Wow. Excellent food, huge portions, excellent service, amazing hidden spot at the waterfront. What a pleasant surprise. Cant wait to come back and try the whole menu. Casual environment inside and out. You wont be disappointed. Great spot. Check it out!
Great little hidden gem. Better call ahead because there are less seats than demand. My wife and I ordered a ceaser salad to share, and I ordered the salmon and her the chicken. No complaints at all.
We chose to use Grind Café in Sarnia as our caterer for a celebration of life, and the experience was fantastic! Melissa was amazing to work with responsive, professional, and made everything so easy through email. The food was delicious, and the service and delivery exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!
Food was excellent. Staff was great, handled a large group really well. Will be back for dine-in or catered.
Excellent Parmesan Chicken burger!
Fantastic Food and service. This place is a hidden gem! Food
Excellent staff food and cute ambiance!
Last year we went to a wedding that was catered by them this spring. Amazing food so we came back for OUR anniversary We sat 30 minutes watching other people who came in after us get drinks and orders taken. Apparently this restaurant has VIP customers....what? Walked out ... never again. I guess I wasnt Important Enough to eat there. Went to Paddy Flahertys and had a better lamb shank and tipped them outrageously. Never again...why is it do hard to get good food and service in our home town?????
Always good.
Always a great time at Grind. For this visit, we actually had a catered lunch. But from all of my previous visits I give Grind 5 stars. Frankly, they wouldve got 5 stars just from me walking into the building and smelling the sweet sweet aroma. Parking: Its downtown so you may not even find a spot to park at certain times.
We came here for my mom s birthday, and it was really good! We had the lobster dip & beer and cheese dip for apps and then the lamb, salmon and chicken for dinner. The presentation and the tastes were phenomenal. Service was great too! We will come here again!
The pepper soup was to die for. I had the Thai noodles what a great cook. They give you lots. The waitress was so sweet explaining everything. Kudos to her. Everyone who came in asked where to find the washroom . She never got upset. Explaining to everyone. Thanks for a wonderful lunch. My friend had soup and salad really liked it We will be back for sure Do you have any low seats? Thanks very much
Don t bother coming here if you don t have a reservation. Food was good but they seemed pretty disorganized overall. Came once without a reservation and was turned away with no offer of wait time or a later reservation despite it being mostly empty. It s also in a corporate centre which is pretty weird. Edit: took a star off due to combative restaurant reply
Great location, tasty food , moderate portions, and great service. Make sure you make reservations ahead of time.
Located inside the St. Clair building, at the back, First floor with the view of the river. Intimate setting. Casual lunches, including wraps and salads, averaging around $18, and upscale dinners starting at the $30 mark. Vegetarian options: Had an eggplant dish on dinner menu, lots of salads to choose from during lunch.
Unfortunately, I cannot post a review on the food or atmosphere because my family cannot go there due to your High top tables. Short people, elderly people, people with disabilities cannot go there. Surely, you can do better...... **update*** I did go there for dinner and here is my accurate review. There was nothing offered to accommodate me, except a picnic table that was against a cement wall and difficult to get into and very uncomfortable (no back support). I should not have to ask as its apparent when someone needs special accommodation, ie wheelchair, crutches, walker..... Your restaurant was not helpful one bit, and I actually did ask but I was told there is nothing they could offer me or do to help me sit at a proper table, inside or outside.
Staff provided excellent personal service, far above expectations. Food was excellent. Seating is limited, so call ahead! Vegetarian options: Eggplant parmigiana, salads
I visited with my coworkers and we were all amazed on how good our meals were. Several days later we are still talking about it. The port tenderloin was amazing. Yeah it took some time to get to the table but it was worth it!
Went for drinks and appetizers. Excellent food and great service.
This place is PHENOMENAL. By far the best beef tenderloin in town ( if youre not a fan of blue cheese they will sub feta and its fantastic)...the grind salad is fabulous and the salt and pepper shrimp appetizer is one of my favs (they will sub regular cocktail sauce if you would prefer). The lobster dip is also to die for and the rose sangria can be bought by the pitcher and is a great deal at 20/pitcher. If you have not been, you need to check this place out. Its always busy...you will need reservations...because it is sooo good!!
Went to grind last night with a friend on a Wednesday night. Jess P surprised me with a cocktail creation of her choice and it did not disappoint. The vibes were great with views of the water. I had the grind salad which is always top notch. Our service was top notch and Jess P took the best care of us. I ll be back! Vegetarian options: Egg plant parm is great, grind salad or the Greek salad and the spring rolls are all great vegetarian options.
I have had several dinners at The Grind. The service is always amazing but our waitress last night Jessica was top notch! Her beautiful smile made me think WOW this lady really loves her job! It was so nice to see! My hubby really wanted a burger and although it wasn t on the dinner menu she made he got that burger! That s goes above and beyond! Thanks Jessica! Parking: Great location!
I had wine and an appetizer tonight at Grind! Mya was my server. Her smile stole my heart. Thanks Mya for your amazing service and accommodating my playlist needs.
Great food, and great service from my server mya
Amazing all around experience. Shout out to Elaine our server. You were great!
Nice presentation, delicious food with a great view. Our third or fourth visit, and definitely will return.
First time here with a large party and everything was excellent! From service, drinks and meals! Thank you Food
Meh..staff was impatient with me and my 80 year old father. Food was great. Staff...not so much.
Melissa and her team at the Grind prepared and dropped off an absolutely delicious meal to our home for our 50th wedding anniversary. It was enjoyed by all! Thank you Melissa and team. Highly recommend!
So glad we found out about this outstanding establishment - amazing view, INCREDIBLE food, and outstanding service (thank you Alyssa for taking such great care of us). The crème brûlée was the best we ve ever had! And the cleopatra salad was to die for. Serving sizes are generous and prices were very fair.
Beautiful Patio, Park and River view!
Too notch place! The bar and atmosphere are fantastic! The food is fresh and delicious as well.
Great food. The lobster dip is amazing!
I dont know if it was the temperature or the quality of my sandwich and coffee, but both tasted off. A concern was raised, but it seemed they had more important matters to deal with by whispering F off to a customer. You know who you are. Update: I have seen the owner of this establishment elsewhere berate with profanity other restaurant workers and owners over a promotion she didnt like. A business or restaurant can offer any promotion they want, just because you dont like it or dont understand it doesnt mean you should go on a little temper tantrum. The owners conduct in her establishment, and at others is becoming concerning.
Great atmosphere and delicious food options! The lamb shank is incredible. Service was very friendly. A must try here locally.
Love this place! Best food ever . Food
Small but good wine list.
One of the best meals Ive had at a restaurant in awhile. Highly recommend. Food
We ordered for a work order lunch. The first thing we noticed was the fries. They use to be one of the best things, now they are tiny shoe string barely salted tasting like frozen fries. All four of us barely touched them. Three of us had wraps, one a salad. Our wraps were mediocre. We follow on insta and get excited over the weekly specials and always cant wait I feel like maybe we just didnt get our best experience. We do look forward to trying you again.
Celebrated my moms wedding here this past weekend, all I can say is wow. What a beautiful venue, the food was fantastic and the staff were amazing. We all had such a good time! Big shout out to Brian and Melissa, it was a pleasure meeting you both. Thanks to the both of you for making my moms special day amazing :) Henry and I will stop by and say hi next time we visit Sarnia xo
The food was delicious, the kitchen accommodated my canola oil allergy which was much appreciated, service from Jenna was excellent and although I don,t care for high stools for dinner and it was quite crowded the atmosphere was ok.
Very Good Food Pricey but great views in this location thats great for a walk on the water before or after The service isnt consistently good but I guess it depends on your server and how busy it is I do recommend it :)
Very expensive for what you get. The food took forever and it was a very loud despite its size. The beer was also warm. The service was good but I wouldnt eat there again.
We thought we d try something different than our usual place we take our out of town guests to. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. We had a reservation and they sat us inside where it was uncomfortably warm. Maybe the air conditioner was broken? Not sure but it was really uncomfortable in 32 degree weather. We ordered several cocktails to start- a jalepeno margarita , strawberry mojito, mules and they all tasted off. As if they just used the bar lime from the bar tap to make a $12 drink. Even the mule didn t taste like it was made with ginger beer. We ordered appies right away which took over an hour to arrive to the table. Two tables beside us who arrived after had their appies and dinner before we did. Our waitress disappeared for 20 minutes so we waited without drinks- had to go to the bar finally and ask to be served and ask where our food was. Another server attended to us briefly, got us a beer and we asked if we could get the appies we ordered and cancel the dinner - but he said they have already started on the dinner and the appies were coming soon- an hour later they arrived. We were so upset and disappointed at the whole experience. There were two couples who we brought out with us and were excited for a good meal and night out. When we finally did get our food- it was good- but not great. Pad Thai was horrible. Wouldn t recommend. The manager took a drink off our bill to make it better . Thanks but we will never recommend or come back to your restaurant again. Suggestion for this place- have a bar tender to prepare the servers drinks. As an experienced waitress- I thought it was ridiculous for the waitresses to wait on tables and then have to go behind the bar and make all the drinks. Your restaurant would run more smoothly if you had one bar tender behind the bar. This was definitely one of the reasons why the service was so poor. Also, put on the air conditioner so the two hour wait for dinner would be more pleasant .
Always love my time here. Great staff, amazing food!! Love the menu. Upscale but also hits all the cravings.
Great food and great place to eat
The view of grid is just to die for. The progress the owner has made from a sandwich bar to full blown water front restaurant and catering business goes to show how good grind is. Every time I go the food is so fresh. The lamb shank is to die for. One of the best places to go in the city with one of the best views
We are blessed to live on the water and grind has the best patio to take it all in. The service is amazing, the drink menu has something for everyone and the food is perfection. The creative team is always dreaming up the best specials, and its a great place to enjoy an old favourite or try something a little new!
We went to grind for a long overdue date night. The girls made sure we had the nicest spot on the patio to watch the sunset. They also gave us great suggestions from a wonderful wine list for a nice bottle to share paired with perfect appetizers. This will become our place for special occasions. Thank you Grind, we really had a great experience.
It was a very busy night as it was first Friday but staff still managed to get through with great service. Our dinner was delicious. You can t beat the view either. Can t wait to come back during lunch, the menu looked so good!
Went there for birthday afternoon it was fantastic
We had a great night on the Patio with friends, the food was great, our waitress Jenna was amazing, she made our night perfect bar staff were great too !!
What wonderful service and the food was delicious! Thanks so much for making my niece s wedding a great success!
The food was very tasty, the service was very attentive and the customer service was impeccable! The restaurant has a beautiful window front with a view of the river. In summer there is a beautiful outdoor terrace where you can watch the goings-on on the water! Today we had a very beautiful sunset! So I can only give this 5 stars and recommend it with a very clear conscience! Price-performance ratio is absolutely top for Sarnia and location - but look at the pictures from today They speak for themselves. Best regards Majk-Boris!. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp on the building!
Loved my lunch there. It was my first time there and exactly what I was looking for that day.
A very nice dining experience. The place has limited tables, so reservations are recommended with larger groups. But with the place being smaller, our food was out a lot sooner than expected. Would recommend, and will be returning.
Food and service are great. Small dining room so can get noisy inside. Will definitely go back and enjoy the patio on a sunny day. We had the braised lamb shank and chicken/shrimp pad Thai.
great food, excellent service. a gem.
I have had better meals here, the lamb is amazing. Fish and chips was ok, over battered to where i was cutting it off. Appys were delicious and we like the above average noisy atmosphere. Will return but stick to what I enjoy.
The Grind catered our wedding, the food was amazing, the service was great, Melissa and the staff went above and beyond for us and our guests. I cant thank them enough for everything they did. Awesome!
Got there when they opened and was greeted with big smiles. I feel comfortable saying that I had the best cobb salad ever let alone just in Sarnia. I will be going back to try out all the other incredibly tasty sounds menu items.
Great food, fast and attentive service. Restaurant is very nice. Got the Pad Thai and it was good, portions were very generous as well. Will be coming back in the future.
I enjoyed both meals I ordered for takeout from here! It was confusing to find how to enter this restaurant/bar when the main building is closed. Stood in what appeared to be the kitchen waiting for service. Super awkward set up but makes up for it with the food! Tried the lamb shank, and the surf and turf burger with a side soup, all very good! Packaged well for a Togo order too!
Excellent food ... excellent staff Parking: Easy in easy out Food : 5/5 |
Im posting on behalf of some of my older relatives. They went to this restaurant and were a little worried about how high the chairs were because of their limited mobility. The owner himself set them up their own regular table and chairs by a window so they could sit and eat together. They say the food was fantastic and the servers were super attentive and kind to them. Everything was absolutely wonderful and they keep raving about how fantastic everything was!
Another wonderful lunch at Grind! Tried the wrap of the day, side salad (which isnt your typical iceburg lettuce and carrots), and salted Caramel Skor homemade (truly!!) Cheesecake!! Very good!! Add on great service and it was quite enjoyable.
Great atmosphere, great food, great service. Will definately be back!
Attending a wedding tonight that was catered and bartended by the Grind. The owner Michelle was absolutely awesome along with her bartender Ben. I came from BC for this wedding and when I come back to visit my family I am definitely having a meal at this restaurant. Amazing food, service and the owner is top notch! Thank you!
Went for supper tonight and the food was amazing and our server Alyssa was fantastic. Highly recommend eating here.
Perfect date night! Britt was our server and she was so great! Food was amazing as well as the drinks and apps !
Great drinks recommend the mango jalapeño margarita, food was delicious portion sizes are big go hungry! Excellent service by our waitress Britt! Will be back!
As usual we had a wonderful time at Grind! The food was amazing and service was great! Britt is the best, and we always love seeing her and having her as our server. She is very attentive, always recommends great drinks and food choices and goes above and beyond! Way to knock it out of the park, Britt!! Also, to our surprise, Elvis was performing! The king is still alive! Great night.
Went for lunch with my sister in-law. Had an amazing lunch, fantastic service. Loved everything about it. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
I came in for my work party this evening. The food was great, the service was even better thanks Brittany and Lindsay!
Brittany did a good job waiting on us
first time dining here tonight for a bday dinner with a toddler. our server was on point, the food knocked us off our feet. the appetizers had us stuffed before we even touched our main meal, we didnt bother to order off the kids menu our kid loved everything from the jalapeno popper soup to the chicken parm. 10/10 would recommend, we cant wait to return!
Lunch yesterday was great and Jill, the server was awesome sauce!
The food was delicious and our server Jessica P was fantastic!!
Great food and waiter. Jessica P was very friendly and did an amazing job. The area is small but very warm and cozy. I had the Maple brie chicken and the chicken skewers and they were awesome. I will definitely back and would recommend to eat here.
Very friendly and helpfull
Grind catered my wedding. The food was fantastic but our evening was ruined by one of the wait staff calling my teenage daughter names and talking to our guests about her in a negative way, due to some past issues her own child had. She was not fired, so please make sure none of the catering Staffs teenagers have an issue with your own to avoid embarrassment and drama to quote. I was credited $123.00 for ruining our wedding.
Food was really good and the portions were huge! Wait staff was incredible. Everybody was super friendly and attentive. View was phenomenal. Only downside was it was very hot sitting inside by the window when the sun set. Definitely would recommend and definitely going again.
Grind was an awesome place to dine. The food was fabulous. Great portions, and reasonable prices. Our waitress was lovely. We are definitely going back to try other options, on the menu.We loved the patio and the live music.
Advertised as waterfront, was not this at all and falsely advertised. Would not recommend. Need to go by the back, no spaces nor view to the water. Might be for lunch but not for families nor waterfront view.
My husband and I had a wonderful lunch on the patio there. Great views, fantastic service, thank you Ally. Food was exceptional. Looking forward to our next visit.
Wonderful appetizers and drinks at the end of the day, great accommodating wait staff made us feel welcome. We will stop here every chance we get!
Went to a wedding there. No air. Very hot.. Food was very late.. Very disappointed.
Had an excellent steak at the grind. Probably the best steak Ive had in a long time. It has a great view and the staff are excellent. I will be back
Absolutely love the Grind ! This place has delicious food a wonderful view and an amazing atmosphere. Highly recommend
Food was great- I had the salmon. The patio is nice too. Found the picnic tables very low and uncomfortable? Our server forgot to order our app so we had to take them to go, and forgot one of our drinks later during the meal. Not a big deal. It was our first time here so well give it another try.
Food was a definite 5 stars. Air conditioning was broken so 4 stars overall. Too hot to be a comfortable eating experience with the sun glaring in our eyes. Strawberry and kale salad was so good. The fish and chips were delicious and plentiful. Good portion sizes, good prices. Ill definitely be back.
Very good food and service!
Super disappointed that most of the appetizers came breaded. Tried to opt for healthier choices and they came covered in batter. Service was not very good at first. Luckily another server jumped in and took over. Be aware that having servers that don t know what they are doing costs you return customers. She was lovely and it wasn t her fault but she needed more help and training.
Wow- the food is amazing- best in town! I can t say enough about the rack of lamb that was on special. It was so delicious. The beef tenderloin was also cooked to perfection. Kudos to the chef! Wonderful, friendly service and a sunset view you can t miss!
Just had a great dinner. Great green curry, house salad. Gin splash and great Caesar to drink. Highly recommend this great local secret.
Outstanding quality food. One of our favorite places for dining.
Great food and staff was extremely friendly
Such a great view, and wonderful staff. Meal was delicious for the price value. All around excellent experience
I was given the recommendation to eat here by a client today. Ordered the strawberry kale salad. It could have used more dressing but was good. Ordered the chicken parmesan for entree. The portion was huge, I only finished half and that doesnt ever happen. It was very good.
Good time, good prices, excellent dinner
Food was excellent. Service was okay. Staff friendly. Would go back.
Lunch specials are awesome. Great view of the water. Small and cozy environment.
We had apps for a work Christmas lunch and it was amazing Will be back to try their lunch and dinner menu Food
Delicious!!! Wow ...youve done it again!!! That ham and scalloped potatoes dinner for Easter was fantastic!!! Thanks!!!
Amazing food, fast service by friendly staff
We ordered 3 different chicken sandwiches and all of them were good. Wish there were umbrellas in the sit out
Melissa and her team at Grind are a group of superstars. From supporting and assisting us in the co-ordination of our wedding, to putting together a beautiful and delicious array of food, to accommodating multiple last minute requests and changes; we couldnt have asked for a better team to have behind us at our wedding. Much Love and Respect to Melissa and her whole team!
Between the welcoming café vibe with a view, their friendly and personable staff and delicious meal options, this little gem is just what Sarnia needs!!
Not very pleasant service, and food is mediocre.
Always great food and friendly people!
The Grind Cafe is THE best place for lunch or breakfast...not open for dinner. They do wonderful catering. The daily specials change each week. Like them on Facebook to get the daily specials each week. One of the few restaurants in Sarnia with a view of the water doesn t hurt. More importantly, their food is always fresh and delicious. Unique without being too out there for most people. I ve stopped here many times to grab something quick to take with me and eaten in as well to enjoy the view. Would definitely recommend. Try it once and youll go back.
Grind is a wonderful restaurant, and they also available for catering. At an outdoor gathering, I had the opportunity to enjoy the delicious appetizers served by Grind. Both hot and cold were amazing and they offered an excellent variety, plus the staff were so friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend them if youre looking for a terrific caterer for an event.
Great wraps/salads and back patio area overlooking the water
Amazing food. Nice view.
Grind did a WONDERFUL job of catering a celebration last Friday afternoon. They had very little notice or lead time and we were a group of very picky eaters! Everything I requested was taken care of, and all was done effectively, efficiently, and with a smile! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GRIND!
Grind catered my wedding this past weekend and it was absolutely phenomenal. Amazing food, great service, kind staff. If you are in need of a caterer for an event, 100% reccomend this place!
Grind Cafe and Catering is another amazing local restaurant with fantastic food and equally fantastic owners. You should definitely check them out.
Incredible from the front door to the last bite. Always greeted with a smile and a suggestion for what to feast on. Even though I always get the same delicious grilled cheese - EVERYTHING here is amazing. You havent been to GRIND? Get out much?
Ive had numerous entrees from here and everyone has been fantastic. Brian is a great cook and great guy overall.
Delicious! !!
Lunch was not delicious, fast and affordable.
Grind catered our recent wedding and did an amazing job! Melissa is a total professional, she was organized and easy to work with, was very accommodating of guests dietary restrictions, and the food was absolutely delicious! We got many comments from guests that each meal came out hot which is quite an accomplishment when youre serving 120 people!
Great food!
Grind catered my husbands 50th birthday party last weekend. Not only were the servers and chef professional and friendly but the food was incredibly delicious! The menu Melissa chose had the great variety and appealed to everyone. They even made modifications for a few people right On the spot! Family and friends commented on how fantastic the food was for days afterwards. Many thanks to Melissa Cameron and her talented group of servers, bartenders, and chefs! I would highly recommend Grind for any catered event. They made the afternoon stress free and fun!
My husband Jason and I hired Grind to cater our wedding last summer and we could not be happier with the food and the service! Brian, Melissa, and all the staff were not only so organized and on top of everything, but they were incredibly professional, friendly and pleasant to us and all of our guests. Leading up to the event, Melissa and Brian were very responsive to all of our inquiries and eager to help us out in any way that they can. We received so many compliments on the food and will certainly be using Grind for any other catered events in the future! Melissa and Brian - thank you to you and your whole team for making our day so memorable and enjoyable for us and all of our guests! You certainly are the best in the business!
Grind catered my wedding in June. Absolutely amazing food, I had so many guest tell me how it s the best wedding dinner they ve ever had.
Great food
One of the best restaurants. Whether it is their daily menu, their mothers day buffet, international dinners, or Friday in the summer on the patio, the food is spectacular and Melissa and Bryan and their staff are amazing.
Not very many low tables & chairs. Had to sit at a high table which is very hard on my short legs. We were able to move after a bit. Service was slow.
Our wedding this past Sunday, in the Gateway Room of St. Clair Corporate Center, catered by Grind was absolutely perfect. Everyone raved about the food as well as the gorgeous venue! The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. We were so happy with everything!! Highly recommend!!!
We were in Sarnia to visit the tall ships that were coming in that weekend. It was an absolutely marvellous day to take a walk along sarnias Waterfront. While we were there we decided to pause and pick up a coffee and a sweet to enjoy down at the waterfront. There is a great selection of coffees and a marvellous selection of snacks to go along with the coffee or tea. Located within a block of the waterfront, you couldnt beat the location. I would highly recommend you stop when youre in the area.
I like the view
Cranberry Brie sandwich was great!! Very friendly staff.
Excellent food with fantastic service. I try to get here every time Im in Sarnia.
I can not say enough good things about this place!!! The staff and food is amazing!!! Wow!
I used Grind Cafe & Catering for a Fundraiser event on April 5th, 2018. The food was absolutely perfect! Melissa was amazing to deal with - her food suggestions matched the event perfectly. The guests raved about the food all night. Everything was perfect - food, customer service, presentation. I will use Grind again and again!
You gotta Eat here. Food is fantastic .
Friendly staff, great food and awesome coffee
Grind is a hidden gem in Sarnia, and a MUST TRY!!! They have it all, from a gorgeous patio that overlooks the river, to nice table set up inside if the weather does not let co-operate. The menu has something for everyone, you will not be disappointed as everything is amazing! They also provide catering for any type of event from weddings to dinner parties, Melissa and Brian are incredible to work with to plan your special day!
Grind catered our wedding on July 21. The food was amazing, everyone loved it. Melissa was wonderful from our first tasting through to the wedding day. Thank you!
very good food. didnt realize it wasnt a sit down place but friendly service!
Great place for lunch when you need something quick, but still delicious.
Wow! Brian, Melissa and their team prepared the most amazing meal for us in our home this weekend. The steak was probably the best steak Ive ever had and the appetizer of Louisiana mussels with chorizo sausage was creative, and so flavourful! Our guests were definitely wowed! Thanks so much.
