Food is amazing , perfectly designed and very delicious, staff are great. the only downside is they dont have phone # to call for booking and they dont respond Instagram inquires

Accidental discovery but certainly not regretted. We didnt make a reservation but luckily we got a table anyway. Original but limited menu. Pleasant music in the background. The open kitchen was great! We couldnt get wine today...the liquor permit was only valid from tomorrow. Too bad, but it didnt detract from our visit. Definitely recommended

My sister and I went here for our weekly Sunday lunch on the recommendation of a friend. It was terrific in every way. Best meal yet, in Sarnia!

Food was excellent and server perfect. She was friendly and was working very hard. But, they need more wait staff. Not suitable for kids, too small. I had the tomatoe tart. Most amazing flavours

interesting menu with tasty food and warm service. great addition to sarnia. loved the privacy and vibe of the table by the moss wall. reserve a table, hot spot!

Finally a sarnia resto for foodies. Between long gone on the front, the Turkish guy s beauty salon eateries, salvatore and chipican disappearance and the swinger girl s venues, the town has been pretty hard up for culinary experiences. Not exactly overburdened with options. So I m delighted to report the hare delivers. Had the chicken liver brule, venison chard red wine spretzel, carrot cheesecake and toffee pudding among other delectables and all top notch. And that s coming from a guy from miami!

Had the burger with fries. EXCELLENT! Service perfect. Got there for 5:30. Got busy around 7. Will be back!

Really excellent. Had the caviar bumps, oysters, bread and butter, steak tartare, venison, and burger. All superb, but I d especially recommend the venison, perfectly cooked to juicy rare glory over a tangy morel reduction.

Great food and ambiance. Yet another outstanding meal. Fine dining in Sarnia !!!

My wife and I had an amazing dining experience! Wonderful food (that I was too excited about to take a picture), great atmosphere, and top-notch service with a short wait time for our food. Our waitress knew the menu inside and out and described the food perfectly. The 10/10 experience that sarnia surely needed, we will be back again soon!

OUTSTANDING!!!

Right off the bat the atmosphere was great. We were greeted by a lovely hostess and I was delighted to see fresh flowers on every table. We got the heirloom tomatoes and burrata cheese and I cant recommend it enough. Not only was it plated so beautifully but the ingredients were so fresh and delicious. Ill definitely be going back for more. You can tell theres a lot of love and passion thats gone into this place. Im looking forward to my next visit!

Incredible service, the best lobster roll youll ever eat in this province, the renovations theyve done at their new location are amazing. I highly recommend, and am looking forward to March Hares planned evening menu. The set up allows you to watch the chefs prepare the food, and their passion is evident! Theyre house aging meats, I had the pleasure of trying the bresaola and it was fantastic. Check their Instagram for updates to the menus, they change it often based on what they have coming out of their dry ager. Unfortunately March Hare is permanently closed now. Weekends this summer theyve been shucking oysters and the ones theyre serving up rival any big citys best raw bar. Their Saturday specials are worth a look at, too. Best spot in sarnia hands down. Amazing brunch. Dinner is coming soon they told me. Wicked burger, had the tartar with the table and burrata also. Really fresh ingredients. Chef and owner really cares about elevating the food scene here which is great to see. Check out if you re in town. Also the chairs have a nice back support, which isn t a requirement but appreciated.

Visiting family from Toronto and we found this spot. We had dinner here and it was amazing. You must try the burger! The atmosphere is pretty chill too. Would come back only for that burger :D Food

Simply fantastic. Dry aged steak and eggs and lobster eggs benny. Really great service and atmosphere to accompany a talent filled menu. nice job guys. Look forward to going again!

We were recommended this place by some friends and it did not disappoint. Amazing vibes/decor, super friendly staff, and the food was amazing. My partner had the burger and said it was one of the best he s ever had. I m a vegetarian so it tried the Tomato Tart and we split the Burrata. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I can t wait until they start serving dinner - we will definitely be back.

I was on my way to the casino in Sarnia and decided to stop by the March Hare for a bite to eat. I had no idea what to expect walking in, but the food and service really surprised me! The burger was epic, the lobster roll was epic and I would highly recommend the beef tartare. Everything was seasoned perfectly, so you know youre going to be in good hands when it comes to any of these menu items. I will definitely be coming back. PS the casino sucks!

I really hate writing bad reviews but I would hope this one would help with improvement. I do not eat meat and the vegetarian options you have are tasteless. The veggie burger needs something on it for more flavour. The fries where way overdone. I have tried many options and really want to like the food because I enjoy the beer.

Pretty sure the two locations have different food, but theyre both awesome!

Was here for Refined Fools music bingo last night and as soon as I saw March Hare had chicken and waffles, I knew I had to try it. It was amazing. New favourite place in town to get perfectly cooked fried chicken and yummy waffles. It even came with fries which were very good. Some nice granny smith apple slices would top this off perfectly.

March Hare is great if you are eating in and want one of the daily specials , the duck wings or go for a special night out and attend a chefs table tasting menu. You also order a take out family meals which are new each week. Iaan and the staff are very friendly and the food is always great.

This is my favorite spot in town! Awesome food made by amazingly friendly people. When its attached to Refined Fool, it becomes one of Sarnias must try local spots!

Wanted to support local during a time like this and thought we would give this place a try. They did not disappoint! Amazing meals (two brisket dinners) had dinner and even had some left over for lunch. Great value, will definitely be ordering again!

First time at this place and loved it. The BBQ platter was incredible, drinks were great, and the staff was very friendly. Definitely recommend!

I love my home town, but I dont always find great places to hang-out and have great food. March Hare at Refined Fool hit it hard! Every Friday night for the month of July we friend-dated with my fellow Toronto-expats Lucinda and Lesley and dug into it all - mouth watering Onion Rings, light crispy fries, melt-your-mouth brisket, the juiciest, yummiest oysters (seriously) and a lobster sandwich to rival all lobster sandwiches, even the one I had in Digby, Nova Scotia (and dare I say, Joe Beef in Montreal - but that would be pretentious name-dropping non?). I would highly recommend making a stop at the March Hare - the limited but addictive menu produces quality every time. I miss our Friday nights!

Amazing food! Creative menu, fantastic specials, oysters rival the best of the East coast restaurant selections. Great ambience. Staff obviously cares about the quality of the food they serve. Sarnia is not necessarily known for great food, but March Hare is changing that.

Updated! A couple of friends invited us to go back there and give them another chance to impress us. It worked!!! The lobster roll is just amazing. Very well served, fair price, and the most important, it is delicious. That is what we expect from them! The fries, in my opinion, are still over fried, what made them dry inside. Maybe that is what they want it to be, Im not sure at this point anymore. So, I came back to make this comment fair and given them a better score. You definately should try the Oysters and the Lobster Roll here. You wont regret! Original review: I order the fries and the cheese. The fries were burn and dried. The cheese had no taste and was very fat. Honestly, I might had to high expectations based on all other comments. Disappointed. Edited: Ive been at Albertos yesterday, and I had a decent fries for $4. So, I taught 3 stars for a fries that cost me twice as much, in a place that is fancy enough to sell Lobster dishes, was too much. Very disappointed, specially after read all the good reviews here.

There is amazing Ramen. The taste is super excellent! It is like Japanese popular ramen restaurant and must be Legend of Sarnia.

Great staff, nice burgers.

Delicious brisket dinner - beef melted in your mouth, combined with the smoke and spices put it over the top. The coleslaw was crunchy and the gravy could have been a dish all to itself. The chefs pride in his work is clearly evident!
