Sunday Funday...beautiful day to sit on a patio. Indoor dining also available. Live music venue. Lower patio awning was still being put together. Food was pub style...basic, nothing extraordinary. Dietary restrictions: Will ask kitchen to replace or remove items from your selection

** Update, the owner did respond see the response below and this type of quality of food is neither the norm nor acceptable. We have dined here plenty of times and I have to say this was a first for us. It is nice to know that the owners take this seriously. Please do not let this one review stop you from going to Paddys and enjoying the great patio with their fantastic options for food and beverages** Unfortunately we went there today and the service was awesome we ordered the Fionns Crowd pleaser and half way through the wings one was raw. The kitchen staff apparently said this is normal as the wings are frozen and blood pools, the meat was pink, which means raw. We eat wings from alot of places in Sarnia and this answer is ridiculous. Wings should not be pink. I just wish I had taken a picture of it.

This place is an absolute shambles. I visited sarnia on the weekend for Bluewater Borderfest. I somehow got separated from the people that I was with and I was very lost. I had been drinking and didnt have anything on me, but money and a cell phone all I needed was a cab to the hotel, i was staying at and knew it was close, since it was so dark and I was so turned around and not from this area.I was worried because I was alone. I walked into this restaurant to the most hostile Environment all I wanted was a cab.They told me they didnt have the number for a cab, They were no help whatsoever and I plan on telling everybody I know about it..... In this day and age, I expected more. All I needed was a ride disgusting And extremely disappointed to say the least.

Today we had a wonderful lunch at Paddy s! The food was great and the service was terrific- thank you to Jodie for making our experience so much fun!

Had perhaps one of THE BEST burgers, if not THE BEST burger in my life. Try their newly released Rodeo Burger, looks ridiculous, but I bet you wont leave any of it on your plate !!! Others In my group tried the meat pie and the schnitzel, I didnt try them myself, but the compliments were sincere and it looked great !!!

Irish style pub. Beer is cold. Unfortunately the patio is the only part open at 430. And it s a cooking 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside.

I think this place is pretty awesome. It would be nicer if it were on a bus route, as it is a far walk from the nearest bus stop. I would go more if it werent so distant. The food is amazing, I really enjoyed my meal. I do think the staff was a little informal and perhaps more focused on other tables that she thought she would get a bigger tip from, which I can kind of understand. The place was very crowded when I went and we had to wait for a table. When we did get a table, it seemed very close to the surrounding tables and wasnt as much space as one would want, if Im being honest. But these are all minor details and would not prevent me from going again or recommending this place to a friend.

Food was awesome but service was awful. Wasnt even super busy and felt the waitress just forgot. Waited for food for awhile which is fine but had to wait forever to get the bill. Not impressed with service. Vegetarian options: Good veggie burger! Lots of toppings!

Waited 1 hour for the food. They got the order wrong and then brought me a can of beer when I ordered a draft. My advice is simple go somewhere else!!

We stopped for a couple of beers, they accepted our doggy to stay in and they served a bowl of ice water, excellent service.

Fabulous food and fun attentive servers make this our 1st choice for dining in when we are in Sarnia.The fish and chips is excellent, the Guinness beef stew is perfection. Parking: Loads of room. Wheelchair accessibility: The large ramp from the parking lot to the front door. Interior ranges from quiet little areas to large spacious spots .

if your going for food dont. i had a party of 12 for my fiancées party and i Was EXTREMELY Disappointed of the food. i got a full rack of ribs and an app. the ribs tasted like the boxed walmart ones and the size Was EXTREMELY bad. but our waitress was Amazing.

We were in Sarnia for a basketball tournament and decided to go here with a big group and they were able to accommodate us and the service and food were amazing. Can say enough about this place. Cozy and if we are ever down that way again, this will be our first stop!!!

We are from out of town, and stopped in for a quick dinner before our sons hockey game. It seemed quiet for a Sunday night, but the service was fast and professional (Jessey had us in and out within our 45 minute limit!), and the food quality and drink selection was excellent. We would definitely return the next time were in the area! Thank you so much!!

We honestly only go here because we get gift cards. Needless to say we havent been for a while. We went tonight as we received a gift card for Christmas. We ordered the soup. It was not hot. It was warm. My husband order the steak and mashed potatoes. His butter didnt even melt on the potatoes. We also wonder if they were boxed potatoes. His steak wasnt hot either. My mini potatoes were not cooked all the way. My meal was hot but my husbands wasnt. Then I go to pay for dinner with the gift card and find out I cant. Now I know that part isnt thier fault. We do have to accept some responsibility because we did not let them know that our meal was not up to par. We have always enjoyed our meals in the past. Tonight was disappointing.

Been coming here for years and this place is always great. Some nights they have good live music. They have really good Irish pub food but even dishes like braised lamb shank. Today we got a Montreal smoked meat grilled cheese with sweet potato fries and the vegetarian fish tacos. They were both really good dishes. Amazing food and good vibes.

We went in late afternoon for supper which was great. There was a special 2 for $19.99, Shepherds Pie with soup include. The soup was Cabbage Roll Soup and was delicious and then came out the main which was also great and super hot. The desserts we chose were Brownies and Ice Cream for my wife and Sticky Toffee Pudding with a great sauce and ice cream. Needless to say, everything was fantastic and our server was a very friendly and helpful young lady. We couldnt ask for better food or service and left for home happy and full as a tick. High recommendations for food and service at Paddys.

Best veggie burger i have ever had

Fish and chips are excellent along with the Sheppard pie. The fish tacos were a surprise, very good and large.

I had a Guiness, shared the calamari, and their DArcys dirty fries The Rockin Reu-tine. Everything was wonderful, from the hostess, our waitress, the food, and even the cleanliness of the washroom. I love dining here. Dietary restrictions: As long as you inform the waitress of what your needs are, Im sure their very accommodating.

Fish and chip- Fries were good, but battered fish was soft and thick. It was not tasty at all. I removed the out layer and ate the fish. I will order this dish again.

This was our third trip to Paddys. We go across the bridge just to eat there. We really enjoy the food and the atmosphere. The wait staff are always super friendly. I would definitely 100% recommend eating at Paddys.

Paddys never fails to provide great food and awesome service. Its been a few years since I was last here. Always suggest if someone is looking for pub food. Great vegetarian menu as well.

I ve been to Paddy Flaherty s a few times and the food and service is always great. I really like the atmosphere there too.

Disappointed that they didn t have a Irish band like in the past! Rock band doesn t count especially on St. Patrick s day

It s a good restaurant, but they are very intrusively interested in bringing something else or the bill from those sitting at the table.

Lots of fun. We hardly ever see ships like these in Saskatchewan.

We had the Wednesday lunch special which came with an appetizer, main. and dessert. I had the penne and my partner had the steak. The appetizer (Jameson Honey Garlic Bites) was good but the standout was the penne which was surprisingly outstanding. The dessert (Sticky Toffee Pudding) was also well worth the calories. I will be a returning patron.

Phenomenal food!

Drinks were good; however, the quality of the food has dropped dramatically and the prices have increased. The blarney chips used to be a favourite but now it s simply a handful of overcooked waffle fries with what seems to be watered down cheese whiz, a spattering of jalapeño, a few green onion slices all for 17 bucks. It took forever for the meal to arrive (45-50 minutes). The steak and mushroom pie used to be awesome with fresh ingredients. Now they used canned mushroom? Come on Paddy s, you are better than this. Your prime patio location is not gonna save you if you don t step things up!

Excellent food, great customer service, very good prices and lovely atmosphere. Just minor issues the second time we went. The pop was flat, and I didn t get glazed onions on my burger, the cook mixed a very small amount of glazed onions with raw onions, the waitress said that was the way they do it, but that s not what the menu said and that s not what I wanted. Let me start by saying I love getting out and trying local food. But the experience tonight was brutal. I ordered the Veggie Phish Tacos. I was careful when I ordered to ask if anything was spicy with the tacos because I cannot have anything spicy. The server said no and then I proceeded to order them and get the mashed potatoes with it. After the food arrived, I quickly noticed the nice presentation. But after 1 bite, I thought, man that was spicy. Then I thought to myself, well the server wouldnt lie to me, so I had another bite. It was also spicy and then I tapped out. I was tricked by the server. Then I looked and noticed they add jalapenos to the tacos but on the menu it doesnt even say jalapenos. She never came and asked how the food was until the end when she came and I said the tacos were too spicy and she just said sorry. So I paid $18+ tax for a meal that was spicy after I was told it wouldnt be spicy and then I had to go home and make something else for dinner. They also had a promo on the tables that read Kids eat free Sundays. They tried to charge us because they apparently forgot to take down that promo card but the manager was nice enough to honour the promotions they advertise. Which to me is common sense. So hopefully they change their ways and actually take requests seriously. If someone cant eat spicy food at all, dont just lie to the customer and say Its not spicy, take it seriously and go to the kitchen and ask. Time to change all the menus and change the name to Spicy Veggie Phish Tacos. But I doubt that will happen, because money over integrity. 0/5. Dont recommend it. Many better restaurants in Sarnia with much better service, prices and food. Vegetarian options: The menu says vegetarian options, but theres a lack of integrity here so maybe its not vegetarian

Wife and my first time here. The place is well situated close to the water. The inside is very very nice, spacious and thematic. The service was friendly. The issues were in the kitchen they were having issues apparently and it took a long time to get the food. The food when it finally arrived was a 2 peice fish missing 1 peice. My fries were luke warm. They came back with the missing fish and new fries but they were obviously rushing it out so they under cooked her fish and my fries. As a side note do yourself a favour and dont add cheese and bacon to your order the cheese was 3 bucks and 2 peices of bacon was 4. If they can fix the speed and food quality/accuracy this would be a great spot.

Decent place by the water.

My husband and I just stopped in for a drink and an order of wings to go. They were, by far, the best chicken wings Ive ever had !! We live in Niagara and have had wings in the U.S. and all over for that matter, but, these were the absolute best for size, taste and value. Great atmosphere, friendly and welcoming. I wish this restaurant was closer to our home.

Paddy Flahertys is great place to go for great meal! The old world decor makes you think you had went to Ireland or Scotland! The food is great, always hot when you get your food! Love to eat there!!!

Service was not so warm/welcoming! Food was okay! In fact, mixed opinion within our group. Atmosphere.. seemed like a nice set up, but we may have picked the wrong day/ time, so there wasnt much happening. Highlight: Excellent location!!

Food and service was good, but unfortunately we were sat at a window seat that had several termites on the windowsill. We didn t want to say anything at first so we killed them but then more kept coming back and one even ended up in our water.

Was served a burger that was raw in the middle, waited 20 mins for a replacement burger. Ended up getting it to go, they took a total of 6 dollars off the bil, not even enough for a drink while waiting. The burger we recieved to go was also charred to the point it was thrown out, an apparent protest from the kitchen. Horrible service I will not be returning, and advise anyone avoid this place.

Really good fresh food, and our server was so good and friendly. This chicken sandwich really is this big. Vegetarian options: Veggie Burger was really tasty and side salad so fresh.

We were on a work trip and on the very first day i insisted my husband to try this restaurant and he got sick by eating their dry and stale ribs. Its been over a week and his stomach is not recovering.

Well its not an Irish bar and i know what im talking about. Plus extremely rude staff. There is a fine line between hospitality and niceness. This place does not have it.

Fun irish pub on the water! We loved the interior little rooms and decorations.

We rolled in at their busiest time of 6:15 on a Friday evening. The girls were happy to seat us promptly and we received service right away. Our waitress was Lilly, she was really sweet and a hard worker. We asked about the steak and mushroom pot pie, Lilly said it was back on the menu, so we decided to order it. OMGOSH it was Delicious! If your on the fence of what to order, give this a try if beef and mushrooms are your thing. We loved it! We would definitely return next time we travel through Sarnia Ontario. No disappointments.

I Ordered the Tuna Sushi Bowl and I really loved it. The shepherd s pie wasn t what we were expecting, we had it better from Paddy s before, unfortunately this time the meat tasted like a frozen food and doesn t taste delicious. The fish amazing was good . and the service was good and fast.

Best place in Sarnia hands down.

We ended up stopping here because the bridge was heavily backed up. Everything was fantastic. The food was warm, fresh and very filling. The pretzel was incredible, the service was quick and attentive. Very pleasantly surprised and the gluten free bun was highly praised.

A really charming interior. Very comfy and perfect for a dinner with friends or family. Service was on point and the food was good. I ordered the shepherds pie and it was a good size. Could have been a little less watery and a touch more flavorful but I wasnt hungry walking out. Id go back and want to try something else.
