Probably the best Indian food Ive had south of London Ontario. The restaurant is cute and cozy and the prices are pretty fair for Indian food. The flavors are also powerful and its not too spicy! We had the tandoori platter amongst other things but the tandoori platter was the best Ive had in my life. Im also Indian myself, if that says something for how good this place is! :)

Spice N Ice puts out some amazing Indian food! The food quality (especially butter chicken and curry chicken) and service are both excellent every time. My only slight criticism is that from my observation, the spiciness hasn t always been consistent, ie: when ordering something medium it can be slightly different from one order to the next.

Always a good meal. Have never ate in. But like to purchase the weekend family feast. It lasts 3 of us for 4 meals. Great flavor as always. Best in Sarnia for the price.

Update: their naans are now back to normal and absolutely delicious and fresh made. Not sure what happened the last time I ordered but it seems that it was only temporary Naans have been changed from fresh made to the frozen type you can buy at the store. noticeable drop in quality. Korma chicken was still fantastic. Disappointing for the naan though, as it was my favourite thing about spice n ice.

Stay Away for your own good! These guys fill tap water in vases and offer customers really dangerous food. Jenny and I visited and somehow story that we were told didnt match. One after another some Chinese customer was coming and ordering UBER food so building owner is seemingly Chinese who is helping them by pretending to be customer. Under this fake customer drill we were badly ripped off. Stay away!!

There are many butter chickens in Sarnia but there is only one best, this is the best butter chicken.

Well, I won t waste much of my words in this restaurant review.. the food was not up to the mark.. apparently it is one of the expensive Indian restaurants in Sarnia, but unfortunately they don t know nothing about the taste, presentation and service. The food tasted bland with no flavours. Also, the staff was sitting in the counter and talking among themselves rather than attending the customers. Totally disappointed.

Did not have a good experience at all. Went with high expectations and got food with no salt. Food was bland and tasteless. Did not even get curd/raita with biriyani. Had to ask for it, even though it mentions in the menu it comes with the food. Would not recommend and would not go back.

I got introduced to this place by my indian employee and I eat here once a week now. Excellent customer service, excellent prices, excellent food. Very tasty and made to order fresh. If your looking for a change in food styles definitely try this place 5 s highly recommended.

Food has typically been very good. Always considered this the best spot in Sarnia for Indian food. We have come here regularly. However the restaurant, bathroom and serving ware always look dirty. Similar to the other local Indian restaurants. Especially the glasses which have dry food and lipstick on them. Today, we ordered two glasses of wine and my glass had dry food in several areas and my wife had lipstick. We walked out. Tired of asking for a clean glasses, silverware etc. Now they have carpets covering carpets because of the traffic for take out. Wish they would try and provide a nice clean dine in experience. They don t seem to understand cleanliness matters not just the quality of the food. Likely won t be back.

Best Indian food in the city. Ordered butter chicken, shrimp curry, naan bread and basmati rice. Every dish was superb. The shrimp were huge and the curry sauce was the best with the naan bread. If you havent tried this place yet you missing something special.

3rd time now that they messed up on my orders.. food is ok but I need to check everything before I leave cause they mess up too much on orders, Naan is always different sometimes burnt sometimes greasy and sometimes good

Amazing food!

Had take out this evening...butter chicken, madras lamb, rice and non vegetarian selection appetizer. Amazing flavours, great value and excellent service. Will look forward to ordering their family meal packages when the family are in town and revisting this little gem in the near future. Five big bright stars!

First time in Spice N Ice and YOU have to go! It s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The Shahi Korma and Chilli Paneer are to die for. THEY WERE FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

This place is hands down THE BEST FOOD IN TOWN!!!!! Have been eating here pretty much every week for possibly the last 2 years & have NEVER had a bad experience. Eat in, take out, just as good! Chicken Vindaloo, Chicken Madras, Basmati Rice, Garlic Naan, Papadums all excellent. Quality of the chicken is outstanding. Spice levels always bang on! Food comes steaming hot to the table without fail! Had the Tikka Sizzler last night for the first time - awesome! Owner always in kitchen cooking & taking care of every meal & would be genuinely disappointed if anyone got a bad meal Im sure! THANKS!!!!!

We re new to Sarnia and found this place via google. Ordered a veal biriyani and a lamb curry for take out just to test the waters and they were both pretty good. We didn t know what to expect with the seating but there s plenty of space. We asked for medium spiciness in our orders and it was just right for our palates. Biriyani had A LOT of veal which was a nice surprise (competitors in town take note!) Customer service was great over all, as well. Now, as south asians we cook a lot of these foods better at home and we ve also had better in restaurants in bigger cities. Having said that, Spice n Ice is still doing good by those standards, if not great. Some of these dishes take hours of stewing/slow cooking and we can t simply expect the same in a restaurant. If you eat halal, they can cater to you for certain meats if not everything. We will be back to try other things from the menu for sure!

Spice And Ice has THE BEST Indian food around. We drive from Wallaceburg whenever possible to purchase takeout and bring home . Their food is so flavourful and tasty. Everything is FRESH and made to order. Order from them and you won t be disappointed. I only wish they were closer or I could have it delivered 45 mins away haha ..

1. The employee is rude. Why? Placed an order and when went in, he raised his voice saying give him a few minutes so he could get back to me. Not a good response for asking if the order is ready, huh? 2. Messed up my order 2 times in a row. Needed to wait another 40 minutes so he could correct it.

Wow we really shouldve taken a picture of the food before we ate it, but it smelled so good we couldnt wait to dig in! The butter chicken, tikka masala, and garlic naan was delicious! I have eaten here a few times over years, but its been awhile. I ordered from Skip the Dishes tonight...and everything was great. I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo, my wife had the Chicken Tika Masala and our daughter had the Vegetable Korma...all with Naan bread and rice of course. The food was great as always, the aroma, the flavors, everything! Its a shame I dont get to eat here more often, but there are so many local restaurants that need support. I will be ordering again soon. Thank you for always providing an excellent meal.

Food was very fresh. We drove down from Chatham. Personally i didnt like the decor or ambience. The day we went was very cloudy so not sure whether that made the place look a little dingy. Pricewise they are a little higher but food is excellent i hv to say. I ordered the non veg combo where i could choose 2 sides. The palak chicken was amazing. One of our friends took the veg combo. That was nice too. The naans were crispy n melted in the mouth.

I have been home sick for over a week with a high fever but thought this food cant hurt and I am beyond happy i ordered... Chana Samosas Paneer Tikka sizzler (spicy and good) Chicken Korma Tamarind sauce/ chutney Pompadom chips (best Ive ever had) And dessert galum jalub~~ perfect Please give this place a try, you will not be disappointed

This is a good Indian restaurant. The food taste and quality is very consistent as its the same chef making all of the food. The Spice N Ice special curries are tasty. This is one of the better restaurants in Sarnia and southwestern Ontario.

Bad experience. Ordered butter chicken, and the chicken was disgusting and uncooked. it was hard and rubbery and just disgusting. Told the waiter about it and told him to tel the cook about this food. All we got was an explanation of how it was made - no apology, not even *acknowledging* our experience. Terribly disappointed with the food and the management, to not even care that a customer is unhappy with their service. (Id put no stars if i could)

I dont typically eat out but my parents insisted on going out so we went to Spice N Ice. We ordered butter chicken along with another chicken dish. I got a piece that was not only hard but difficult to break. I asked my family if their chicken pieces were like that too. They said all the pieces they had were good. I asked my family to check my piece and they were surprised to see that it was uncooked. I told the waiter and I didnt want to make him feel responsible since he only serves food (I think) and is not a cook. He went into the kitchen and came back to tell me that theyve never had heard such response before about their butter chicken and that they bake their chicken as opposed to boil it. I dont know how that was supposed to be a sufficient response. They didnt apologize and that is what upset me further. I even told the waiter that I wasnt mad at him, but I was upset that the chicken wasnt cooked. My family has been going to this restaurant for a long time and they have never had this experience either. The waiters response (which I believe was the response of the management) was just to say that it wasnt their problem. I didnt like how they treated an issue I brought to them. It makes me wonder if they wouldve treated this situation differently and with an apology if I were white. My family didnt want to pick a fight at the restaurant with the manager and we left right after we paid. They didnt even thank us as we left. I will not be returning to this restaurant and Ill be sure to share my experience with my friends.

Ive had the curried lamb, butter chicken, and shrimp korma. Always spicy. Always fantastic. The naan is dwarf tossingly good. The servers have always been friendly and helpful regarding my ignorance towards Indian cuisine. They always think they can break me with the heat. They think Im some punk white boy. Yea, my nose runs a bit. Yes, I may need a second beer. But I live for the spice. The water is from the tap and not served with ice. Beer isnt cold enough either. Spice and Rice would be the better name. If you have never tried Indian before, eat here. They will cater to your spice level. My wife does not like heat and loves their (mild)butter chicken.

I went there last I tried chicken korma and it was totally waste of money and the naan bread was cold wasnt seemed like fresh so my advice to everyone think twice if you are going to at this restaurant but my experience was horrible.i wish I could give zero star.

I have been this restaurant couple of time. But my this time experience was totally unexpected. I had ordered butter chicken but it was cold and it was tasted like it was cooked in microwave. From now I would never go to this restaurant.

Weve been a few times and really liked the Chicken Korma, Tikka Masala and Lamb Vindaloo. Naan has always been good, and portion sizes are plentiful. We are really not a fan of the Butter Chicken...Ive had it every time Ive eaten there, and it always tastes like Campbells Tomato soup with a little bit of garam masala. Mango lassi was a lot more on the sour than the sweet spectrum. We have had very polite servers each time weve been there,. Just wish theyd change the way they make the butter chicken...
