I placed a delivery order for the festive family feast. The order did arrive on time but the delivery driver was far from fantastic. I advised when I called to place the order that I would be paying cash. She firstly, just walked into my house as I answered the door, and secondly said I have to pay by card as she had no change. When I asked her how to bypass the tip option on the machine, as i was going to do the tip via casshe grabbed it, and banged the buttons, then thrust it back at me, almost dropping it. It was a very unpleasant experience. The food was good.
Excellent experience during the holiday season. Food was delicious. Server (Edge) was spectacular, very friendly and informative. Overall experience was wonderful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a delightful evening date or family night out.
Christine was managing the seating and an entire section on her own. She worked very hard to help everyone and accommodate our tables buying the $50 gift card promotion. Dinners were well prepared and rest room was clean. Great experience!

Outstanding Service by Julie! My family had the pleasure of being served by Julie at the Swiss Chalet in Sarnia, and we were completely blown away! Her ability to recall our entire order without a single mistake was impressive, and her attention to detail and exceptional customer service really stood out. The food was as comforting as always, but the experience was made even better by Julie’s professionalism and friendly demeanor. We will definitely be returning—not only for the delicious food, but in the hopes of having Julie as our server again!
Tricia, our server, was very friendly and helpful. She made great recommendations regarding sites to see in Sarnia. Thanks to her we saw the most beautiful sunset in Canatara Park. It was the best experience we have ever had at a Swiss Chalet! Thank you, Tricia and thank you Swiss Chalet!
Let me be clear, I rarely ever leave reviews. However, when I have had a bad experience, I feel inclined to notify the public. I am visiting Sarnia for the first time and upon my arrival I was hungry and decided to order from this restaurant. I ordered on Uber Eats. I forgot to add in the “special instruction” section to add cutlery to my order (honest mistake). So I figured I’d just call the restaurant to ask them to do so. So I called and a lady answered. I basically said “Hey, I placed an order on Uber Eats and I forgot to—“ this is where she rudely cut me off and said “Whatever you forgot to add you must figure it out in the app”. I was so appalled and tried to tell her I only needed cutlery to eat the food with. Again, she wouldn’t let me talk, she cut me off and hung up. I was raised with respect and I am very kind. I don’t think I did anything wrong. This lady was RUDE and I honestly don’t think people like this should be working in customer service. I spent $50 on this order. Unfortunately, I could not cancel the order with UberEats, because the order has already been placed and a driver was already on the way. At this point, I don’t even feel safe eating the food. Her behaviour was so irate and impulsive, I truly believe she could have done something to the food. I can only pray she is not this wicked of a person and hopefully it was just her having a bad day. Regardless, her behaviour was unacceptable and is a poor representation of this Swiss Chalet. I have ordered from many other Swiss Chalets and never had a bad experience like this one. Usually the food comes in a bag which is stapled shut. My bag was not stapled shut. Some stuff looked tampered with and some stuff simply missing (chicken fingers and white rolls). I am not sure if this was the restaurant or the driver. Overall, 0/10. Would NOT recommend!
Had to have dark meat they had no white meat available my dressing was very soggy
We went crazy this time and got the hot chicken sandwich with broccoli cheddar soup which was the best broccoli cheddar soup I ve ever had. It had rotisserie chicken in it which must have made the difference.

The chicken broccoli & cheddar soup is quite good, though if you get it as a side, its an extra $2 upcharge. The CAA discount does NOT apply to any Festive Meal. Also, you need 2 or more regular meals/entrées on one bill to be able to use the CAA discount. In Sarnia, Edg (not misspelled), our server, was very attentive and quick to check in, get refills, and answer any questions we had. He had suggestions, but wasnt pushy when anyone in my party said no, thank you - he just accepted it an moved on. Edg made our visit enjoyable, and he wasnt obnoxious in checking in, nor were we ignored. I usually avoid Swiss Chalet (Im not a fan of burned wings or upcharge for almost everything), but Edg made my grumpy misgivings go away

Waited to be seated. Other people waiting went got someone to seat us. It wasn t busy only 2 other tables. Then sat 15 min before taking order. We got soup and perogies and 1 chic on bunTook another half hour. Soup was delicious. Perogies were cold cheese not even melted. Chic sand was so small. Got a better sand at Harvey s then here. People after us got served before us. Worse I have ever had

Half chicken with house salad was good. Service was fairly good. The chicken was well cooked and a generous portion.
Service was the big winner today. Usually we have to wait 5 minutes for a greeter but the new person manning the front door was 110% on point. The server, Edg, was one of the best weve seen anywhere. The meal was standard Swiss fare. The 2 employees that we interfaced with were Keg-quality workers. Hope the staff remains the same as it does affect how frequently we choose to dine at Swiss. Wake up call for the location owners.
Edg, in Sarnia location offered excellent service. Our food was fast and hot. The refills were quick and free, which sometimes is a rarity. One couldn t have asked for better service or food. Great experience. I ll be back!

Was there last night and order chicken legs. Just happened look in the kitchen and seen a gentleman taking apart a chicken with his bare hands. I thought in the restaurant business cook were to wear gloves when handling food. Very poor experience.

WAY over priced anymore. $20+ for an average piece of chicken and subpar, inconsistent fries. Go to Metro. 1 piece of chicken and 2 sides for $8.99. Swiss Chalet has priced themselves out of the market. They are also review bombing themselves with 5 starts reviews. They are so fake its crazy.

Julie was excellent, and attentive. In general Swiss chalet has brought their fry get back up to snuff. There was about a 10 year stretch where all I ever got were short fries (no longer then 3cm) but they seem to be back to what they were in the 90s! Parking: More spots then seats in the parking lot.

Wish I could give negative stars for the experience i Had just had. Walked into swish chalet and the costumers are being yelled at by the manager, the manager proceeds to go into the back yelling and talking crap about the man while there s atleast 10 other customers waiting. She belittled him infront of everybody and kept running her mouth. Bad example and bad management. I will never be going there again and I will make sure nobody I knows every goes there again. And on thanksgiving too. Do better. Very disappointed, I am disgusted completely.
