We wanted to come for our granddaughters birthday and was unable to make a reservation for 10 ppl. Fair enough, it is the holidays. However, when we said we would just take our chances and come as a walk in, we were then told that they would still not be able to accommodate us. so are you saying we can t come to dinner at your establishment??? Answer, I m afraid not!! I m sorry , I forgot to mention that it was 5 days out when we called and were told that you would not take a walk in of that size during the holidays whether you were at capacity or not.

Always great service, fast and reliable (always with a smile too!). Fun menu items for both drinks and food. Super busy place though so needed a reservation for our big group but had no problems with making a reservation a week out, hostess was very friendly on the phone!

Pub grub with a paleo influence would be a good description...great if you wanna watch carbs or not...Something for everyone

Not Good

Called today, which was Wednesday night and made a little date night with me and my girlfriend. We went 45 minutes before close and was told On The Phone that we would get food and still said the kitchen was closed. Very disappointed.

Hazard special where they had certain dishes on sale for 10 bucks after 8:00 p.m. I had the mini burger sliders with fries and it was delicious. Way better than any fast food places and about half the price literally.

Treated myself to lunch while I was out running errands. Happened to pop into this place. I had never been before. I gave 5 stars as my server was pleasant and the food was good. Im sure, Ill return.

Had a very nice club sandwich. With my grandson and wife today .staffing was great .always smiling. Good portions.costco fries. My wife had the fish .large portions and she enjoyed it.little expensive. But who isnt these days .we will return

Overall it was great food and service. Ordered 2 pounds of wings and had a few. Packed them up for lunch next day and accidentally left them on table. 7 min drive home, called about them when I arrived home but they had already thrown them out. Wish they waited longer. Food is expensive these days. Wont be back.

Huge menu but some things are hit n miss-- alot of great choices tho! Never have had bad service the couple times we have been there. I just wish some of our dishes were put together better- less sloppy plating and the use of more spice on certain menu items. The Bob Marley would have been waaay better if the steak was less watery (making my wrap soggy) and the steak had some spice/seasoning to it.

Hey! I work in the industry and I know that sometimes it s tricky to put the show on and maintain the smiles. I always get the smiles here. Just went in for a pint - and was so grateful to have interacted with Kennedy. She is the biggest sweetheart with an unforced smile - what a gem. Twisted - keep doing what you do ! Thank you Kennedy for unknowingly making my day with your sweetness.

Went for Valentine s night dinner, food was fine however service wasn t. Nobody came to check after dropping the food.

Review change from when they first opened. I do love this place. It s our go to restaurant to go out and eat. Funky stuff on the menu that s always delicious. Staff are super friendly and they seem to stay there long term so it nice to see the same faces every time we go in.

I was trying to make dinner reservations for my sons 21st birthday. After making reservations initially (and being told that I couldnt get any, because there was an Elton John tribute performer that night), I was finally contacted by a senior manager the next day, who told me I could. On Saturday January 21st, we (a party of 6), arrived for my sons 21st birthday dinner. It was important to him to dine at this place because it was his favorite and he had been here multiple times and liked their food. Upon our arrival at 5pm, we were immediately informed that we needed to be out of the restaurant by 7pm because of the concert. My son and his GF were 15 minutes late; and when they arrived, the staff reiterated their message. The whole time I was there, I felt like we were being rushed and like the concert impersonator and tickets sold to those who wanted to see this show, took precedence over the diners. Twisted Arm needs to make a choice: either you cater to those who like your food and continuesly come back for it, or you drop these customers to make a quick buck from these live entertainment shows. As for the food; I didnt really care for it. It wasnt really bad, but it wasnt really spicy or exciting either. Kind of greasy too. Kinda bland for my tastes. The BIG+ was...the wait staff were super nice and attentive. Atmosphere was amazing!

One of the best spots in Sarnia for food! The menu is one of a kind - it s wayyyy better than your typical bar food restaurant. Everything I have tried here (and I ve tried a lot of items on their extensive menu!) has always been above and beyond exceptionally delicious. I have been here at least 15 times now, and plan to return again and again. Service is always friendly, too. Make reservations or you ll be waiting. This place is popular! I recommended the nights with live music. Excellent atmosphere and not overly crowded.

Fast service excellent food great prices.

Service and food quality has gone down hill. Went from ordering weekly to being left on hold and hung up on. Dining in isn t an option as lots of tables and booths are open but it s a minimum 45min wait? Portion sizing on apps have been reduced but not the price. Tonight was our the last time, ordered take out and the food looked like it was left over from lunch. The fries were cold and soggy and the wraps were hard, dried out and not made to order.

Came in tonight for food and it was amazing, had Twisted Sisters for app and they were very good chicken fingers tossed in carolina sauce which i really like the sauce options twisted has. as for people complaining about soggy food and re heated dishes that is so far from the truth. been eating here for 2 years and i have never been let down along with my whole family who are picky and agree with me. sounds like some sour customers to me. Make sure you keep an eye out for events, this place is popular and expect to wait for a seat because it s never empty in the restaurant because of the good food and atmosphere.

I have eaten here multiple times with my partner. Everything we ve had has been excellent, same with the service. Twisted Arm is one of my favourite restaurants in Sarnia.

Its hard to find a place where you feel like youre at home these days. Jenn and Tyler and all of their staff make newcomers feel like regulars. The menu offers a great variety at a super price. We have yet to leave an empty plate. For those floating throughout town or any locals who havent been, this spot is a gem. Great food, great atmosphere.

We loved it! Our server was excellent, the food was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is my love language - music! There was TVs with sports on, for sports lovers, but my eyes didnt notice that. Love the artwork and the musical vibe! Bravo! We will be back!

What a complete disappointment...went for a Fathers Day dinner, only to leave feeling let down, hungry, and down $100+. Food was so bad that we left it virtually untouched on the table, paid for it, and left. The server was miserable, setting a somber atmosphere, and it was just an overall bad experience. Even the ceasars were horrible. Regret paying for the gross food. To update, I was contacted by the manager, Jenn Daly, asking to elaborate. I did, and in finalizing, I made a comment suggesting one would have to be drunk to give a good review for the food we were served. Jenn replied, stating I was rude, that she was going to refund me but not now, and blocked me. The food was that bad in our opinion, and there was no intent to be rude. Would have apologized but was not given a chance. The manager is very unprofessional, immature, and can not take criticism. People who have had fresh, quality food know the difference, and Jenn, sorry, but your restaurant does not have that. Tough to hear? Keep my money and buy fresh ingredients like they do at Greens, Local Wyoming, and Tin Fiddler. They should be checked out by people who know food. Hire a bartender who knows how to make a complicated (sarcastic) drink like a Ceasar...

My wife and I went here for diner a few nights ago. Our first time there. It was quite busy for a rainy Tuesday evening. I ordered the Memphis Steve (basically a chicken burger), and a small Caesar side salad (upgrade). My wife ordered the Mighty Mac and Cheese (basically just mac and cheese) . We only had water with our meal, and our Bill was just shy of $60. Neither of us enjoyed the food, and my wife did not eat half of hers. I would give a 1* for the Food, and a 1* for the value received. On a positive note, the atmosphere was REALLY nice (a 4*), and the Service / Server / Waitress were definitely a 5* hands down. Very quick, professional service. We will go back and give it a second chance, as the Servers were phenomenal.

This review is for takeout/delivery only. Ive always ordered here and the food is good. Lately theyve been messing up my orders consistently. Every order theyre forgetting the ranch dipping sauce or making the wrong meal for my wife. Today they forgot the soup of the day. These things add up over time. I am taking my business elsewhere for a while. There are other restaurants in Sarnia that wont mess up my order ever single time.

We go every Thursday and the staff are great, they remember our orders and we often have drinks on their way just has we sit down. Jen and Tyler are great hosts. Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly

Have been more than once or twice, each time I go, I feel more disappointed than the last. Between service being across the board (waitstaff either pestering you constantly or ignoring you the entire time), and food going downhill (looking at the jalapeno cheddar soup here, unmelted cheese and not the same consistency as any other time Ive had it). After having to explain myself three times to three separate servers tonight over how disappointed I was, I left unsatisfied and unlikely to return again anytime soon.

The Tai chicken salad was amazing and Jen and her staff made sure we were well taken care of.

If I could give negative stars I would, every waitress there was highly disrespectful, and argued with us backtalked, and yelled at us. I m disgusted in the service, and think they should all be fired. I will NEVER go there again. If you want to be treated with respect I would suggest you don t go there as well.

Have been a loyal regular since they opened! Also was a regular at norms for 9 years before. Have been taking a gentleman with a severe brain injury and the staff have always went out of their way to make him feel like he belongs. Best service best food and best beer in town.

Unfortunitley our meals all came out with way to much spicy seasoning on it. My meal was 100 percent the wrong meal . The staff was very helpful to try and fix the issue but with a time limit due to a live show and my family already eating I was waiting for another meal to be cooked

I cannot tell you with any language I know how good the Voodoo Chicken Cordon Bleu thing is. Id fight someone for it, hands down. Lose? Probably, but Id try for that prize. I dont know what I thought Id get when I ordered it, but I was not disappointed. My dads Norma Jean burger was good too, and he only says anything is okay. My boyfriend was slightly disappointed by the poached egg on his Benny Boo-Boo burger, as it was small and looked more like an eye stalk. If anyone cares for egg tips, read on, or skip to next paragraph. If you put a tablespoon of white vinegar per 2 cups water into your poaching pot, it helps keep the egg a bit more together. Also, if you make a gentle whirlpool right before you drop in the egg, it wraps around itself. Our waitress was nice and friendly, and I dont know if she went on break or what have you, but the other waitresses also checked in on us once and a while, which was nice. The atmosphere was really great as well, but the dining area was a little dim.

Ive never had a poor experience at the twisted arm. The food is delicious and the menu has many unique dishes Ive never seen anywhere else. Ive had personal meals there as well as attended company events hosted there and both types of experience has been awesome.

To the owner..... the patio comment I made earlier, was when there was outdoor dining only, and you had a makeshift one in the parking lot. All good now though. Cheers!

Food was really good. I had to be that guy and ask for something that wasnt on the menu, and they obliged. The staff was cool. The place was empty on account of Borderfest. Less one star on account of utensils being ever so mildly blotchy (didnt seem like water spots as much as food residue). Will definitely be back.

Disappointed with the food here. Not much effort put into the recipes. We had Asian Lettuce Wraps as an appetizer, not good...some frozen chicken mixed with shredded carrots and chopped cucumber with a lot of sweet chili sauce and a few Romain leaves on the side. More effort needs not be made in creating their dishes.

My first ever visit to Twisted Arm, but most definitely will not be my last. The food was simply delicious and the staff was fantastic. The decor pays tribute to the 50s and 60s but not in a garish style. Tasteful photos and prints. My only regret is that Im not local to Sarnia so my visits wont be as regular as they would be otherwise!

Food was alright, I had a great time until it got to the end my boyfriend and I were ready to leave we finished eating at 8:40 and sat at our table for 25 mins waiting for someone to take our dishes. Then finally some other girl came to us and asked if we were done and wanted to bill. The staff there are really friendly but it wasn t overly busy and our waitress forgot about us.

2nd take out order. Very pleased from the phone call (he was sooo pleasant) to the last bite. The haddock was great. Certainly wasn t soggy. It travelled well. Some local restaurants say fish doesn t travel well well, crispy. Hot and delicious. Hubby loves clubhouses and has become an expert. He loved it!!! Overall, thank you Twisted Arm for making the end of a work week relaxing and stress free. Looking forward to dining in again.

Some advice... a Greek salad shouldnt ever be drowned in dressing. Wrap was great.

This was our first time going to twisted arm and it exceeded our expectations! Ashley our server was attentive, professional and polite! She gave us just the perfect amount of attention! The food was very good! I had the classic club and my wife had the one of fish diner! When the fish arrived it reminded me of that scene from the flinestones when Fred ordered ribs! It was large! We always give each other a taste and both meals were delicious! The restaurant was very clean and the bathroom was spotless! We will definitely be going back!!

Everything was amazing

Lots of options on the menu! Last time I was there they came and brought boxes to take the leftovers home but never returned. We waited over 20 min and tried to flag someone down who said they would get our server but still didnt. Very frustrating as we had tickets to the imperial and were almost late waiting extra half hr to pay the bill. Other than that the service seemed good.

EDIT to the terrible response from the owners. My order was taken around 7:45PM because I messaged my friend directly after having my order taken to let them know I would be a while, knowing it was busy. I left after 8:45PM. I was wearing a blue tie dye Lambton College sweater and was sitting alone on the stage. Check the cameras. I also spoke with Shawnee and your manager who never gave me his name. There was a volleyball team that was supposed to be coming in at 8:45PM and they were moving the tables beside me to get ready for them BEFORE my food came. I most definitely waited an hour for cold food. They put the food back in the oven. I have waited a few days to write this review, mainly because I wasnt sure if it was something I wanted to get into online. However, the entire experience I had at Twisted Arm on Wednesday, December 14th was beyond deplorable. I do understand it was incredibly busy, and that it was wing night. With that being said, waiting over an hour between ordering and receiving my food isnt ideal. I was there alone, and ordered a single order of Thai wings, and wonton nachos. While I waited the hour for my food, I watched at least one other table with three people, receive their food before I did. After the hour it took to get my food, I received cold food. At this point, I was pretty upset as I wasnt expecting to wait an hour for food, much less cold food. When I sent the food back, they put the food in the oven, which made the food less than appetizing on top of it still only being warm. The manager ended up giving me the food for free (which had three/four bites taken out of both orders before I threw it out because it was gross) however I received no apology or even sympathy of any kind. I had to ask to speak to the manager because he was hiding from me, and his body language and attitude was absolutely terrible. I hadnt been to Twisted Arm in a long time (a few years) and this experience made me question ever going back, honestly.
