Great food Great service Decent price

This is our usual go to breakfast place so uncomfortable to complain but the prices for some items, when considering the quality, are a bit high. Case in point ... a grilled cheese $9.95! Really? We really like all the servers ... they work hard.

Since they changed to the bigger wings, they have been served hot and well done. Much better than the old cold pigeon wings they had before! Thurs after 7pm, wings are cheaper.

We ordered fish and chips to go. One of the dinner rolls had a big patch of mold on the bottom. The coleslaw tasted rancid and the tarter sauce was mainly relish. The fish was a generous portion but very greasy. I did enjoy the French fries. Will not be ordering again. Had to pitch most of it.

good food good service and good prices. you cant ask for a half order, and it is rare I get my breakfast cook right, just gave up ordering the hashbrowns( or any potatoes related products except frys).

Ignore the bad reviews. This place is great. The food is good and the owners are nice. Something wasn t cooked right. They replaced it and took it off the bill.

Food was definitely filling (meat lovers boat) , but hashbrowns felt just so-so. For the start of a day, I guess the service could have been a bit more cheerful

I think that Village Garden s is very under estimated in terms of all the Diners in Sarnia. Their Eggs Benedict is absolutely delicious and there is a decent quantity for what you pay for. Speaking of paying, they are still relatively cheap for their selection.

Recently went to this establishment to have dinner on a Friday night! I am a non-smoker I couldnt even get to the front door because of all the smokers! Even thought this goes against city by law I will be reporting them to the city by law department

I used to come here with my Nanny all the time for a good warm meal. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming and the servers are amazing. I have not been here in a couple years but when I used to go all the time the food was always so delicious!

I been to the restaurant for their friday fish & chips, for the last 3 months, and the coleslaw is awful, I try each time thinking they would improve it, and the mayo and sweet relish for the fish was again awful, please improve on the small things, and it would be fantastic meal!

Tired of getting nickle and dimed. Just add the cost of the small stuff into your food cost. Will not be returning.

We find the breakfast nit good today. Meal was cold and home fries and sausage very overcooked. Will definitely be awhile before we return for breakfast

Went for breakfast today. Worst breakfast I have ever had. Eggs overdone. Toast burnt. Hash browns raw. Price outrageous. Will never return

Something has changed in the kitchen in the past 5-6 weeks there seems to be a consistency issue weve had over cooked under cooked cold good service is useless if the food coming out of the kitchen is failing. My friend and I both have worked in the food industry hearing sorry were busy just isnt a good excuse anymore.

Took my daughter for breakfast. We both had great meals, portions were large. We both went away very full. Staff was friendly and quick. It was very busy, but well managed.

Good food, great prices! Only reason it s not 5 stars is because it s not always cooked perfectly (eggs under/over cooked) but generally delicious nevertheless

Good place, except for when you ask for something to be WELL DONE. Second time in a row Ive asked for something well done and its barely cooked.

The French fries were horrible but the fish was good. It took forever to get served

I Called and ordered breakfast for pick up. The lady on the other end of the phone was ignorant, and rude. When my wife showed up to get our food after the 20 minutes they told me. they had already given it to a previous customer. So my wife had to sit there for 20 plus minutes more, waiting for new stuff to be made. The waitress in there was also rude to my wife. After the food got home. Portions are small, toast burnt, and no taste to the food. Not worth the money I Will never return.

Honestly one of the best breakfast places in Sarnia.

Friendly staff and a great breakfast. Our guy group meets there every Saturday morning. Great coffee and endless refills.

Glad to see they are open for business! Fantastic patio set up- lots of space. Picnic tables and tables with chairs incase someone is picky!

Its been 16 months since I was last here. Outdoor patio. Great social distancing protocol. And great super sized chicken wings on Thursday wing special. Ill be back next Thursday. Super friendly staff. Its nice to be back.

Kind of bog standard, but was excited to sit at a restaurant and eat.

This is where I like to get my brekky when Im feeling fancy. Just be mindful, it can get a little busy. :V

Good place to have breakfast.

Well-priced breakfast, friendly service. Unfortunately, it was not explicitly explained that onions and cheese were extra cost for my hash browns when it was suggested to me. I fully recognize I may have missed it on the menu; however Im a firm believer a verbal clarification is always helpful. Good food, and coffee was fresh!

I only sit on the bar side but its good friendly service and a great homey atmosphere keep me going back

Selenas next door provides fruit and a pancake with their hungryman breakfast for a couple dollars cheaper. The fruit and pancake are not a choice like it is at village garden. Service was good and fast. But theres more for your money at selenas next door

This is a not crazy fancy place--but good food, the servers are friendly, the portions are great--all around a great experience---the fact that the tables were alll busy tells you the local folks like it --we came from London, to visit our college son--and we, and he and his girlfriend all loved their lunch! A bunch of us went for breakfast and found it very enjoyable ; Great service and food . We sat outside and although the street is quite busy , we really had a nice time and we returned again in a couple of weeks . Thanks.!

Amazing, we have had the same server each time we have gone after our runs on Sunday mornings and she knows exactly what we want. As for allergens, the chef is incredible and accommodates and does it well. Try it, you wont be disappointted. Stopped in for dinner with friends and family.. pleasently surprised as I had not been here for a few years now.. Great food great value and the waitress was friendly and maanged to look after a very full restaurant without any complaints Sorry, didnt get her name but she was the only one working tonight!!

I love this place wish it were busier to keep it open longer sometimes I think its a hidden gem people are not aware of. Excellent variety, awesome food and priced well, wish they would bring back the salmon sandwiches again. Everything is nice. I highly recommended this restaurant.

Breakfast was awesome and service was quick as always.

Half the staff is rushing not good under preassure. Very cramped place. They made a table of 8 in front of the main door not even in the other room, which in results makes its extremely tight for walking around. A couple was order as the waitress was clean the table off they were sitting at then left the cloth on the table amd walked away. I also noticed in my 30min wait for breakfast a lot more people were leaving due to lack of room or waiting way to long. Notice someone in a booth actually leave before ordering food. The food is very boring. Just cooked. No spice, herbs, nothing. Bacon cooked way to fast barely cooked through very chewy. Ham was cold even after being cooked. And toast was soggy, which shows food has been sitting for a long time before being served. Very small place waitresses dont seem good under pressure. Cooks seem to do poorly under pressure and have low experience in cooking. For food to being sitting there also seems to be a lack of communication some where as well.

This is a good place to eat and socialize. Breakfast is good

Best Breakfast in town.

The food was fresh

Best part was our Greek salad with chicken was very good....the service was not the best.The waitress brought us our water then just as we were deciding to leave she finally came to take order...20 minutes later!! Took another 20 minutes to get our salad in which time we watched 2 customers leave because their waitress never returned to take their order. Also after we were brought our food she never came near our table again to check in on us.

Boss ordered his lunch the other day asked me to grab it and thought ill grab something too the clubhouse did not disappoint
