The guy cooking last night. Horrible. Took 12 mins to flip around my order dry it right out nasty. Doesn’t know how to cook at all. Get him out of there. Waste of money.
I had Tom Yum soup here with Chicken. The soup tasted very good, but the chicken was horrible. Rubbery, unrecognisable, and just tasted bad. I am very disappointed because I remember slices of chicken that were very tasty, but that wasn't the case during this visit.
I used to love going here but my order has been wrong so many times lately. The only time the food is actually right correctly is when the owners make your food, not worth it with the recent price increase
I regularly buy takeout food from Thai Express and really love it. Particularly pad thai with shrimp and also the green curry. The shrimp are large and fresh, and their food portions are generous. I highly recommend this restaurant for Thai food fans!
Honestly amazing food, but wouldn't serve us at 7:35pm. Stating they're closed at 8 and wouldn't take a last order at 7:35pm after we waited in line. Literally pathetic level of service. It was the man that was working on June/10/2024, the guy on the wok. Probably won't be returning after that experience. I highly recommend Sodam as an alternative, on Exmouth. Top teir food and service. For literally a couple dollars more if not same price. Better food better service.
No - I wish I read the reviews on Google before I ordered as they are bad and right on... Pad Thai was not good - Too much vinegar in their sauce Not worth the $16+ price
I ordered the battered chicken Thairacha dish which was extremely below average. It felt like a new person trying to cook in his home kitchen. The veggies and chicken were extremely soggy and literally felt like I was eating mushy topping with noodles tossed in ketchup. No Thai flavour at all and I paid $25 for this bowl which is ridiculously expensive for a flavourless food!!! Very disappointed.
I have loved this place for years. I have gone like 50 times. Last month I was craving green curry and called to order ahead. They said it would be ready in an hour, which is kinda a long time for a place at the mall, but I was ok with it. However, they didn’t even start making it until I showed up to pick it up an hour later! I was standing there for another 20 minutes and they weren’t even busy! That’s what I called to avoid! They did not care about my time or the fact that I’d called ahead and already waited an hour ( the amount of time THEY gave me for it to be ready!) So now I’m not going back.
The guy with no hair not friendly at all he don t know how to talk with customers. Never coming back

It took about 10 minutes get her my food as the guy cooking it was on the phone on his ear piece and making ONE dish at a time with a line up of ppl. I asked for a bit of extra sauce and was charged for a total of $18. It was drenched in sauce, and prawns. I got pad Thai and they didn t put peanuts or cilantro or anything in it. It was not good and the service wasn t great. Insane prices. Will never go back for terrible quality.
Spend your $15 elsewhere. Fried rice was drenched in sauce at the bottom of the bowl. You can get the same low quality product from a freezer at the grocery store.

This was awful. Menu pics are comically misleading. Half the menu items are crossed out, microwaved spring rolls were still cold in the middle, fried rice had a bizarre, soggy taste. The mall is a nice enough place to eat but this food is terrible.
Pad Thai was all stuck together with no flavour. No peanuts at all and was also very dry. Will never, ever order from here again

Food was subpar but the really weird part was being asked if I wanted fish sauce or vegetable sauce on my vegetable pad Thai after reassuring her I was vegetarian I heard her tell the cook Wich sauce to use and they both laughed I don t know what was so funny but it couldn t have been about the choice she gave me ? Anyways food was bad and tasted fishy, probably just tripping out because I saw them laugh but who knows . Will not be returning

This was my second visit to Thai Express in the food court. The first time I found the food to be average and lukewarm. This time the shrimp in my Pad salad was warm on the outside and cold in the middle because the fellow had only quickly stir fried the shrimp and had not given it enough time to cook through so it was raw in the middle...yuk. Got a refund and left.
Food prepared fresh and tasty. Fun to watch it prepared in front of you.
I got Pad Thai and it wasn t great. Too much sauce and tofu was over cooked. Asked to have it for here, got it to go. Not that bad, but the worst thing I saw was that the employee on the cash register was not punching in the order into the register. I asked for a receipt so that he would. The price was correct, and that s not what I have a problem with. Either all of them or just that one employee is stealing and that is just wrong.
Awesome spot for Thai food. Staff are always friendly. Food is fresh and cooked to order. Portions are big for the price. I love spicy and they are able to make it HOT for me which I love. Doesnt taste like food court food.
