I picked up lunch to go today & the food was tasty & the staff were very nice, despite some of the other reviews on here. The guy even brought my food out to my car for me. I will eat here again next time Im in town visiting

Both husband and I had noodle bowls and they were amazing. The deep fryed wontons were nice and crunchy as well as the spring rolls. The staff were friendly and chatted with our 15 month year old... update. We come to the vault when ever I am in town. My son is now 19 months now and they are still friendly and enjoy talking with our son!. Thank you for your awesome food and the wonderful customer service!!! We will be back again! Update! Today August 7th/2024 Tonight we had date night at the vault and again we left full and happy with the service. We will continue to come back. Thank you for the amazing for and service. Very arrogant, ignorant and racist guy working here. He talked so rudely to the courier girl, just cos she picked the order before asking him. I guess since she was Indian. There is something called SMILE and a courtesy speech, which the guy don t know is must in customer service. No matter what, we all deserve respect. He should reset his attitude (but i guess he had a bad day :() which reflected in front of his customers in restaurant #angerissues

The food was very dry and not fresh. Had a sore stomach after eating and when I phoned the owner was rude. Ruined birthday lunch for me. 0/10, please go elsewhere.

I order from here very frequently. Always chicken fried rice- I love it. Today I ordered it and it was quite dry, the chicken was very dry, and there are new spices in it? It tastes very bad now. This is disappointing because now I m afraid to ever eat here again as I don t want to risk spending money on chicken fried rice that tastes like this again.

Terrible customer service for the second time. Will not be ordering again. Save yourself the money and headache of dealing with these people. Everyone makes mistakes but it s how you handle it that matters. Incredibly rude staff or owner . Not sure. Either way won t be ordering from this restaurant again.

Ordered and it took forever to get the food(almost 2 hours), by the time it showed up it was cold and also didn t taste of quality from previous orders, ended up calling the restaurant. The conversation quickly turned negative and I started to realize that at no point we weren t gonna come to an agreement. Apparently I was the problem? Will unfortunately never visit or order from here again.

I ordered takeout from The Vault for the first time. It was excellent!! Fresh, hot and delicious! The restaurant was extremely clean. Wonton Soup rocked! I will be back. Its my new favorite noodle bowl restaurant. Ive looked across saskatoon and so far this one has the most flavor and the tea is good too. Atmosphere is great and the owner is very nice. I always enjoy coming here for supper.

This is my second negative experience out of four times we have tried food from there (two take out times, two dine ins) We ordered take out. Arrived and food was ready but staff noticed that the one item was wrong, so I waited in my car. Got home and the corrected order was right, however the other two orders wrong. Called the restaurant and staff denied I ordered what I did, they became very defensive and did not let me get too many words in, so I hung up frustrated. Husband called and communication was very challenging. Again, the staff member was talking over my husband, didn t give him many chances to speak and then when he did, he would interrupt him. He told my husband that I was a liar, and that I had hung up on him (I did hang up on him, which is disrespectful,yes, but I did out of frustration). My husband then ended up swearing out of frustration, which was our bad- we will admit that. The staff member finally offered us a refund if we returned the food untouched. Unfortunately I had eaten one roll (it was the correct item I had ordered, I just ended up with too many) so I ate it, as I was super hungry. So we said we had eaten that item and we would still pay for that (we did not expect a refund for anything we had eaten). He then refused. All in all a terribly disrespectful experience. The cold roll I had was good. My husband said his curry was on par with other places. Like I said this was my second bad experience with this restaurant getting take out. That will be my last time supporting this local establishment.

I have ordered the vault probably over 100 times since they opened, and their food has always been consistently amazing. I love having them in my neighbourhood. Five stars aren t enough!

Best ginger beef! Best wonton soup! Best Shanghai noodles! Everything is soooo good! We go atleast once a month and its always worth it! Vegetarian options: Ive been told they have the best tofu

Was terribly disappointed by the food and more importantly lack of customer service and care at the Preston location. I Did not like the food I got as it was bland to the point the sauce had no colour even or flavour,it was like thickened fat, and had not typical additions to it that were not advertised anywhere which could ve been fixed relatively easily had they advertised it. But when I ate barely 4 bites of the food and didn t like it because of the additions and lack of any taste the server took it and threw it out as I said it wasn t even worth taking home to me. Although my thought was they d try to rectify the situation somewhat, for example remake it without the soggy bean sprouts and better sauce but nope that didn t happen. they didn t even offer me a menu to look at in case I wanted something different, the server just took the plate and left without a word and sat back down at a table. When we went to pay we asked if they d comp it at all since you couldn t even tell I had eaten any and was told by the server I was in the wrong for not mentioning that I didn t like soggy bean sprouts in something that usually doesn t even have ANY bean sprouts (or at least not at any other Asian restaurant I ve ever been to anywhere). And that I had to pay full price for something I didn t even eat and I quote her because someone has to pay for the food so she wouldn t even comp a bit off the only dish I ordered to try to get a returning customer so that s a bad sign. Oh yeah the server did say she couldn t wait for a review so here you go TLDR: bad service, Left in tears, didn t eat and still paid full price 0/10 would NOT recommend unless you want to not even be offered food or even a menu after you didn t like what you got. Left in tears, hungry and feeling stolen from. You re better off spending your money elsewhere. Edit: have since found out this terrible server is the co-owner. Oof never going to support them again. The restaurant was empty at peak dinner so it seems their rudeness might be catching up

First time there and thuroly enjoyed noodle bowls and wonton soup. Excellent we will be back.

I dont recommend the Spring rolls. Something is off...... Three people tried them and all agreed. We ate 1 out of six rolls, the rest are in the garbage now . Its like the pork in the spring roll was from and old pig or rancid. The Peanut sauce was mediocre at best, too thin for my liking. Cold rolls where good.

Fantastic curry chicken noodle soup

This location is owned by the loveliest family! Ive ordered takeout from this location a handful of times. Theyre usually not ridiculously busy so Im happy to support them especially since they are local. The person who was usually ringing me up at the till insists that I dont need to tip on takeout which I thought was a nice surprise. Their food travels well every single time from the noodle bowls to their pho. I would highly recommend giving them a try!

pretty good food! we live near the area so it s convenient and the service is good as it isn t too busy here which is honestly nice because sometimes I hate busy restaurants. I d recommend the spring rolls and noodle bowls, and definitely rice dishes as well!

Terrible customer service

Good food but bad customer service. Asked for green tea and they never brought it. Asked for chili oil for our noodle bowls and they didnt bring that either. This was our first time here and they definitely blew it on initial impressions.

Ordered dinner for 10 and found hair in two of the dishes one was the fried rice and the other was some beef stir fry. Called to complain about the food and the manager became argumentative and only wanted to reimburse 6 dollars out of 128.00. Not worth the gas to drive there. I will never order from them ever again and I would not recommend this place. The manager said that a lot of people try and rip him off and that he is putting his foot down. Well, wear hair nets or something.

Just spend$60 on two meals delivered and didnt come with forks or chop sticks or napkins or anything. Now I get to eat cold 30$ noodles for supper. Thanks but I wont be spending my money at your restaurant again

I ordered the lunch special noodle bowl (for $7.95) to go. When he brought me my food I asked for some soya sauce, which he went and got and brought out. He then proceeded to ring it in at $7.95 + .50c. I asked what the .50c was for and he said for the soya sauce. I asked him if he charged customers who are dining in for soya...he suddenly went off on me ranting and raving (in a rather hostile voice) how he could just raise the price and include it, etc. He accused me of asking this on a previous visit and then again repeated that he could just charge me more for my food. I proceeded to say calm down, its fine Ill pay it. He continued to rant. I asked for the total, tapped my card and I said have a nice day. When I turned to walk out I heard him mumble, I wont serve you noodle bowl no more. I turned around and asked him what he said (although I had heard), he repeated it again in a rather rude voice. I said no problem and walked out. My point was, why am I being charged for it just because Im taking my order to go. The lunch special price is the same if you dine in or take out...so why should I pay more? Sooo...food is average (at best) but the customer service is terrible (as a representative of the restaurant, he was rude, while I remained calm)!!!

Restaurant interior is very red and is like any good Asian restaurant....very sparse...as they spend all the money on good service and good food. It seems to be a Asian-fusion menu without saying it. The best are the Vietnamese rolls. Also the most authentic Singapore noodles I have seen in a while. Everything else was good too.

Excellent experience. Fresh, great sauces and good size helpings. We had a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed. We went to the Preston Ave location, very clean.

The food here was delicious! Suprising little place with okay service and good prices. Definitely one of the best vietnamese places Ive tried here in Saskatoon and will be going back. Atmosphere inside is a little strange and not too sure how to pin point what it was.

Got the Beef Pho soup and Sweet and Sour on Rice takeout from Uber Eats. Very unpleasant experience with the food as the quality of the food didn t meet my expectation. I tried the soup and it was not flavourful.

Excellent dinner takeout option! It was hard not snacking on the car ride home (smelt so good!!!). The kids and I feasted on vegetarian Vietnamese noodle bowls with extra rolls and lemon chicken . Delicious and can t wait to go back. Highly recommend!

Ever since this location opened it s been my family s go to spot! The sautéed onions make their noodle bowls stand out - yum! They have vegetarian spring rolls for the vegetarian noodle bowl so you don t have to miss out on the deep-fried goodness, and their ginger beef has amazing flavour. The owner is a pleasure, as well as the rest of the staff; this place is a must.

Excellent noodle bowls, large portions, great flavor, nice staff.. Next time well order an extra portion of the fish sauce, we like a bit more9. My friend liked the pork stir fry on top of the noodle bowl but thought the pieces of pork could be cut into smaller pieces.

First visit to the Vault on Preston. My husband had the charbroiled chicken noodle bowl and I had the pork. Both were very good and so were the spring rolls. Prices were great and so was the service. Will definitely go back to try other dishes!

YUM!!! Heard of this place new place, and decided to go for noodle bowls. Changed our minds when we got there to the Chinese. Sticky rice, chow mein and ginger beef was delicious and we will be back! Friendly fun service, fresh food, good prices, clean atmosphere and they checked for proof of vaccination... what more can you ask for! Gave 4 stars because I need to try the Pho then I can give 5!!!
