Actual hidden gem restaurant of Saskatoon. Owner is cool AF, cooks some of the best Cantonese food in the city and great Chinese BBQ. Friend had a bday party here, chef brought out his special champagne for him and we took a picture together. Highly recommend.

One of my favorite places for Authentic Chinese food! I take my friends here all the time. Truly a hidden gem. The owner is very friendly and will make you feel at home. The menu is large and theres something for everyone!

The boss is great, come more, come more, come more! The claypot rice is highly recommended. It was delicious and I ate it so quickly that I forgot to take pictures hahh

The food was amazing. Chef Pan poured some of his brewed beer as a taster and it is worth trying / picking up some. We celebrated a birthday and the staff were very accommodating.

4 of us arrived to try out this apparent hidden gem for dinner and we were completely blown away! The chef came to personally greet us and upon learning we were there for the first time recommended 5 dishes for a family style meal that complimented each other perfectly. Everything was fresh and had incredible flavor, served quickly, and was generously portioned for the price. We will certainly be back

Wow, what a hidden gem!! The food here is next level, I dont know what the flavors were but every dish was beyond good! Good portions and very reasonable prices. The staff were also very helpful and knowledgeable! Very feel-good atmosphere. Went with friends and family and canr wait to go back.

This restaurant was very bad, I ordered a roast duck on Monday, the duck skin was very dry and meat was rotten, I think it was cooked a week ago, but it couldnt sold,so it was frozen,then sell to me, the boss said it make at 2pm,is very fresh, but it was spoiled roast duck,this is a dishonest boss and very bad Chinese.I hope people dont go to this restaurant.

I loved every second I was in here. The food, the service, the atmosphere, were all phenomenal. This was one of my favorite dining experiences I ve ever had. If I lived here, I would come eat here every week and bring all of my friends. This place reminded me why I love food and travel, all in the span of a dinner

What a lovely little locally owned gem! We were the only ones in the restaurant and the owner was doing everything. He brought the dishes out as he made them and they were all unique and delicious. We just asked for him to recommend some things for us based on what he had available and it was perfect. Will for sure go again.

Tonight after the Ag in Motion 2024 show a group of us went there for dinner. The food and service was extraordinary and I would highly recommend it if youre looking for genuine Chinese cuisine. I will be back for sure!

Went for lunch with a group of friends and had a great time! We had Jasmine Tea, Rice, Pan fried prawns with salted egg yolk, BBQ beef rib, braised tofu, beef and Chinese green fried noodles, shrimp dumplings, black truffle Chinese dumplings, fried choy sum, bamboo shoots with fried beef. Everything was delicious and I cant wait for the next time we go back to try more!

The food was so good that I forgot to take photos! The pan fried shrimp with salted egg is to die for, and having eaten in Vancouver and all over North America, this restaurant is truly a gem in Saskatoon. Chef Pan is such a wonderful host, offering beer he brewed himself

Really dont understand why the rating is so high. Its a small space with a shabby decoration and it feels like there is no ventilation system at all. The oil smoke from the kitchen when cooking is unbearable. The food in this restaurant is honestly not the worst, but it doesnt match the price at all. Compared with other restaurants in Saskatoon, the amount of food is very small for the same price. The waiting time is also very long. Maybe people enjoy the service more than the food. Would not recommend to anyone and will not go back again.

Chef Pan and his family were friendly and hospitable. Their authentic Cantonese food was so delicious. We had the lobster dish with the bread crumbs.it was delectable with plenty of wok hei, We also had the duck and greens. Chef Pan prepares and hangs his own ducks. We ate every scrumptious morsel. The food is great! There aren t very many authentic Cantonese chefs left. Enjoy this one! Joan and Jim highly recommend them. We ll be back!

Literally the best meal I ve had in the city and I ve lived here for years. I ve been to Odd Couple, Odla, etc. We had about 5 dishes as a group. The lamb and razor back clams in particular was amazing.

One of the best restaurants I ve been to in Saskatoon in all my time living here since 2011. An absolute experience of a meal the flavours and textures were incredible. A hidden gem of the city and deserving of more customers.

Definitely recommended. I was told it is the best restaurant in Saskatoon. The owner is really nice and patiently explained the best sellers to us. We were here the first time and we absolutely love the roast chicken. The skin are super crispy. The chicken meat is super tender. Also I recommend book an reservations before you visit. They are super busy.

First time eating here. Don t let the humble atmosphere turn you off. Chef Pan loves food and is an excellent chef. The food is authentic Chinese food so don t expect sweet and sour pork. BBQ duck is his specialty. It was excellent. Everything was tasty and interesting. Even the simple veg stir fry was perfect. There is a lot of items on the menu and some dishes I was not sure what they were. I recommend looking at the online menu and do a bit of research first. We will come back to this place again and explore the menu. There were some exotic items that look interesting to try

The food was delicious and authentic. The restaurant is tiny. Chef Pan does all the cooking himself and called his wife and daughter in to help because he had three tables last Friday night - I felt like a guest in his home. Im glad we finally stopped in this neighbourhood gem. We will be back!

My wife and I stopped in on New Years Eve as we were passing by and thought wed try this cute hidden restaurant --- were so glad we did! We werent that familiar with traditional Chinese cuisine but the owner was very helpful with ordering. We had the stir-fried razor clam with black bean sauce, the beef and Chinese greens fried noodles, and brown sugar milk teas. Everything was so delicious! The chef/owner even came out to ask how we were enjoying the food. Well be back to try more of the menu and cant recommend it enough :)

A portion of Oyster King Cured Sauce Claypot Rice evokes the taste of Lao Guang. Japanese dry oyster king, duck liver sausage and white oil sausage mixed together in cured clay pot rice. The rice is fragrant, and the burnt rice grains at the bottom of the pot are crispy and have the aroma of cured oil. It s a must-have! Jiangdong sesame-flavored hand-shredded salt-baked chicken, the taste of hometown for everyone. Its full of salt-baked flavor and has a strong salty flavor. Its delicious when paired with white rice . The chicken is not raw and very tender, my personal favorite Pan Xiaochu s private kitchen has guaranteed quality and full flavor. As a wanderer who has not returned home for many years, I feel homesickness that is indescribable. A bowl of claypot rice full of hometown flavor is like the ecstasy rice in The God of Cookery, which is deeply emotional. This is the first time I have tried dishes in Chef Pan. New renovation gives you a bright and clean dine-in area, comfortable atmosphere to enjoy food. Chef Pan bringing me the Taste of Home. As a decent Cantonese food lover, I finally can enjoy Cantonese Potty Rice again. I have not going back to Canton over 8 years, this pot of rice brings me the flavor of hometown. Rice contains those sausages flavors and full of different texture. Top part of rice absorb all juicy and fatty oil, the bottom part has cook perfectly crunchy and crispy. This is why Cantonese Foodies love Potty Rice. The Salty Hand-splited Chicken is my personal favorite dish, salt stimulated chicken flavor be stronger, somehow , it keeps juice taste not dry. The top Chinese food in town.

Staff were friendly and courteous, but didnt do anything about an extremely loud group sitting at a large table. Food was nothing to write home about. Vegetarian options were supposed to have tofu, but it seems they had run out. Communication was not the best, and made harder by the loud group. Vegetarian options: No vegetarian protein.

Enjoyed a Chinese set dinner for the four of us. The meal was enjoyable and the familiar dishes were well made. My familys tummies were satisfied, and Id encourage everyone to visit this restaurant and eat some of their delectable fare. Apart from this, I enjoyed Scallops with Garlic and Beef that we ordered, which were all delicious. Service is wonderful. All in all everything is great.

Had Shrimp wonton and BBQ duck, it was amazing. I believe it is the best duck dishes in the whole province of Saskatchewan. The owner was from Macao, he was very nice. Proud of Macanese people, I will certainly go and eat regularly, keep the great work.

Legit. Delicious dishes and their BBQ duck is best weve had in town. My family had lunch there, then we ordered pick up a day later since it was so good. They also have daily authentic Chinese soups. Family run resturant, very friendly and inviting. Will be back again.

A real hidden gem in the neighborhood. To describe the wonderful dining experience, I have to compare it to a Michelin restaurant. Its not simply delicious food because the delicate flavour, master-crafted seasoning, and precise control of heating and timing makes it a must vist genuine Cantonese restaurant. Totally forget to take photos...

My husband and I got adventurous and went to try this new restaurant. Glad we discovered it! Best Cantonese food we ve had so far in town. Very authentic! The BBQ pork is soooo good! So are the other dishes we ordered. There re many good dishes on their menu that make us want to go back. It ll be our new go to place in town!

Such a cute little place, the chef was really friendly and helpful. Went for lunch and recommend if you do that that you call first so you can order the main dishes ahead of time as some take an hour or more to prepare! Id never heard of the place but found it hunting on Google and didnt realize that til we got there. The dishes we had were all good, so Ill definitely go back again to try more things!
