The best Chinese restaurant in the whole Saskatoon. The food is so sumptuous and the service is extraordinary. The staff is so respectful and professional. The owner Mr. Toni is a very kind and humble person, he will always ready to help in organizing any event or functions. The interior is so beautiful and mesmerizing giving awesome ambience. Recommend to everyone and please visit. Thank you Mr. Toni.
We oredered some dim sum and some off the main menu. The food was alright, we ordered chicken balls for my daughter and it took forever to make it. We were basically done eating when it arrived. I asked a couple of times and they kept saying it's coming, if it wasn't for my daughter I would have cancelled it. The table beside us ordered fish and they were finish eating and they haven't got their fish. When they cancelled it the kitchen haven't started the fish as they were able o cancel it. It wasn't even that busy.
I hate to give this place 2 stars, but our service was AWFUL. We booked our reservation a week in advance, and when we got there the place was packed. After waiting an hour for the menu, we grabbed it ourselves. Another 30 minutes passed, and so we went downstairs to find an employee. 30 minutes past again, and dishes that we did not order arrive. We tried to explain this to the employee but lo and behold, she did not speak english. How is it okay to have a server who can't speak english?? We had to ask for forks for the little children, and the table beside us had to say it in mandarin/or cantonese for her to understand. Then, we had to grab our own cups and water! At this point, I should be getting paid. Food was okay, the beef dishes were very fatty and boney, but other than that not bad. Unless you speak mandarin or cantonese I would not go here again. EDIT! After taking home our spring rolls, my daughter nearly choked because there was a string in hers!! Unbelievable. I don't care how busy it was, this is insane. Do not go here!!
Absolutely delicious Chinese food at Dragon Emperor ! Every dish is bursting with authentic flavors that transport you straight to China. The design of the restaurant is also top-notch in saskatoon. From savory seafood to flavorful stir-fries, every bite is a delight. The staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!!
We celebrated our birthdays here. Its a good place very fancy decorations lots of rooms for private gatherings. Food is very good and very good service 🎉
Recently I was there for lunch. I enjoyed having the long john roll, highly recommended. The deep fried milk was delicious, if u never try them u shd. The shrimp spring roll was good. Paper wrapped chicken needed some improvement. It was quite chewy.
Tried this dim sum place for the first time. I’d say that this place is quite a hidden gem in Saskatoon. Keep in mind that their dim sum only goes until 2:30pm, after that it would only be the non-dim sum menu. The outside seemed alright but wait until you get inside, it is grand!!! Absolutely well decorated, bright and beautiful. The service was fantastic, everyone took care of us well. The food was great as well. From what I’ve read, there’s also karaoke upstairs so that’s something to try! Overall, it was a fantastic experience!
The best Dim Sum and experience in town! One of the few remaining places where dim sum is served off a cart. The food is just excellent and they have a lot of staff. If you get a chance to meet Phillip please do so he is part of the old school of Saskatoon Chinese restaurant owners. He presents an experience that is rare in Saskatoon. The decor and pieces have a lot of thought. The atmosphere is unique and takes you to a different place. There are separate private dining space upstairs including a round table that seats 18 people complete with the largest lazy Susan you have ever seen. A new institution for dim sum run by a guy who knows his stuff! A must go for Saskatoon.
good food
The place was beautiful, when I think Chinese restaurant, that is how the place should be decorated. I had the special fried rice, it had shrimp and char siu. It wasn t anything extravagant but it was a very good classic fried rice and I enjoyed my meal. The service was friendly and I have no complaints.
Authenticate Chinese food available here in Saskatoon.
Great food, reasonable pricing. Beautiful atmosphere
Delicious food, beautiful building, I highly recommend
Best crab Rangoon! Very clean and great staff!
The best dim sum in Saskatoon. Staff took very good care of us. Everything was fresh and tasted wonderful!
Hidden gem! Love the dim sum Food
Charge $10 more than what it is on the menu.
No good
Awesome Cantonese restaurant in Saskatoon. Its worthwhile to go either for cause eating or banquet activities
Squirrel fish is a rare and delicious fish in Satun, a good place to relieve homesickness
Best dim sum I have ever had!!! I will never go anywhere else! The service was amazing and the food was to die for! Everyone should try this hidden little gem, you wont be disappointed!! Food
We went for dim sum and service was incredibly slow. We were there for an hour and the cart only got to us twice, and they had the same dishes on them so we werent able to get any of the items we wanted. We eventually decided to just pay and leave. On a slow day it might be good, but on a busy Sunday absolutely wouldnt recommend it as you wont be able to get food and the staff seems very overwhelmed.
Food was decent thou hard to get. They stopped dimsum cart service with people still lining up to get in. Service was like a chicken with head cut off all disorganized. The wait to get seated needs a numbering system, 3x people just walked past the groups of us waiting to be seated. Theyd walk to an empty seat sit and get served. Pissed off people waiting. I can definatly say 1st and last time for me comming here. Was hoping for a different place besides mandarin.
The restaurant is clean and bright. The food came out quickly and was piping hot. Service was fast and attentive. You order by checking off items on a paper menu rather than food on carts. Definitely worth checking out if you like dim sum.
Food and service are very good
Horrible service! Waited 45 min to be seated. Food never came for dim sum another 45 min. People left due to this. Cold food when it did come around with 3 things. Extremely hot inside the restaurant. No AC! Will never go here again! Only came here as mandarin and yip hongs closed. Very bad experience here for first time
This restaurant goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. It doesn t hurt any that the food is delicious as well.
Well the first time we went to this location (original owners) it was fantastic. Today we went and ordered 240.00 worth of food take home. The quality has gone down tremendously. One dish we ordered with chicken, all we found for chicken was chicken bones. Absolutely terrible. All the food on the picture tossed away. Unbelievable, we just threw away 240.00 dollars.
It is obvious a lot of expense went into the design of the place with its marble walls and floors and feature picturesques which is very very nice. But thats where it ends too, when you walk in and seee christmas presents on the floor at the entrance you know there is little pride in the place here. Service is terrible as you have to ask for everything from getting plates to cutlery to wanting to order something to drink and even getting a straw to use to drink from the can or get a glass to use. Glasses of water were provided after beign asked and one had an insect floating in it but seemed to be no big deal to them. To be a dim sum place but then to not serve dim sum after 4 pm makes little sense to me. Our order of food had fried rice, tofu, complete fish dish which was about a 3 lb Northern Pike and beef and vegetable dishes. All the vegetables were so over steamed and over cooked they were like mushy rubber with other dishes drowning in sauce. Needless to say we will not be going bakc again.
Absolutely fantastic dim sum! The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was stunning. Every dish we tried was a delightful surprise. The staff was attentive and friendly, making our dining experience truly enjoyable. Dragon Emperor Dim Sum is definitely a gem in the culinary scene!
The variety of dim sum options was impressive, each bite bursting with flavor and authenticity.
Worst Chinese food ever, I couldn t even finish the meal, they must have changed the chief
Most beautiful place. Unbelievable art pieces. Very good food awesome service plenty of parking which is montiered by camera. Vegetarian options: Order what u want they can probably make
Had great dim sum. Fantastic service, hot food. Really enjoyed it.
The food is so fresh and the service is friendly and accommodating. Excellent experience all around!
Def would recommend, tasty and friendly staff
Food was great. Beautiful setting inside.
Very tasty food. I havent had Dim Sum in awhile & this was an experience. I ate too much, but I only blame myself.
Great place. Good was really good.
Great dim sum in Saskatoon, nearly as good as what I used to get in Toronto. Highly recommend.
I was wanting dim sum and my usual place was closed. I googled this place and was not disappointed. It is beautiful and the prices are clearly listed. I forgot to take photos of the food when it was freshly served so what I am sharing is partially eaten. Dietary restrictions: I m allergic to shrimp so the server made recommendations.
Worst Chinese food Ive ever had. (and Ive tried many.) Ordered through Skip. Food arrived cold despite the restaurant being only 4 mins away. Everything was chewy and bland. Chicken balls: Chewy. Ginger beef: Somehow very chewy and soggy at the same time. (Overcooked and old?) Tasted of Ketchup. Fried rice: Rice was either underboiled or old and dried out from hot holding. Chewy. Shanghai noodle: Extremely bland. The spring roll and crab ragoon were the best items, but mid. Had high hopes from the reviews but I would not reccomend this place to anyone! (Unless youre looking for a jaw workout.)
We had the very bad experience with the lady who got our order. She is wearing gray top. She is acting like she got everything we requested but she didnt understand. She also interrupted when we are talking to other person for our request and turned out she didnt understand our request. When we clarify our request she got mad and turned away. She returned back but that is really upsetting when you are still talking and turned away. We know its busy because boxing day and lunch time but I asked her nicely. Not worth the frustration. We will not go back here. I know we have different experience but ours in not good and really frustrating.
My favourite restaurant in Saskatoon has a nice environment and nice staff.
Great place!
Staff is friendly, food is filling and has flavour. Many options in a fast amount of time. Complimentary tea is delish. The food comes in good amounts so its worth the money. The interior is gorgeous, the gold accents are beautiful. The bathroom is clean and spacious with a nice big mirror. Staff is caring, they clean up the excess dishes off the table fast. Water cups are filled in a jiffy. One of the best places to eat in saskatoon. Parking: FREE with plenty of spaces.
Food was fantastic, service excellent and efficient. Friendly staff was very accommodating. Only reason it was not 5 stars for everything was the restaurant was chilly. I do realize it costs a lot to heat a building this size. It is Jan 20 and outside temp has warmed up considerably from last week.
Great place great food
Great food, great service. Will definitely be back
The worst experience was that I was scolded, insulted, and personally attacked by the chef just for putting forward some opinions and ideas on the product, which caused my weak heart and soul, and the chef must be fired.
Very impressive. I eat dim sum once a week. I was pleasantly surprised.
Nice decorations and great service. Tried the roasted duck and shrimps, roasted duck is not fresh and super gamey - wouldn t recommend.
Placed an order 4 hours in advance and still managed to miss 5 items on the delivery.
This is the most authentic Chinese restaurant in Saskatoon. I am from Vancouver, they have got the same quality as we do in there. I give my thumbs up to them.
First off the food is amazing and absolutely delicious! Some of the best Chinese food I ve had. Second I see a few reviews regarding the staff not being pleasant, I would think those reviews are false and harmful because I found the staff incredibly friendly and attentive. The interior is amazing, very beautiful and clean, it s simply a great, great place!
Best Dim Sum in the city!! Everything was amazing and the most authentic. Will definitely be going back!
Dont eat here. The quality of food has really changed. The vegetables were not fresh. They use frozen vegetable mix for their fired rice and the deep fried squid was obviously fried in super old oil. Very disappointing.
The morning tea is not authentic, the stir-fried dishes are expensive, the portions are small and not tasty .
Beautiful beautiful place. The service was fast and great . The meals were so delicious - probably the best tasting meals Ive had in a while in Saskatoon. I ordered the green beans. It was super tasty and a very large portion. I also ordered some dim sum. The restaurant has something for everyone; the menu is so long. They have sufficient parking and cctv cameras overlooking the parking lot, so your cars are safe. The meals are very affordable for the quality you get. The dinnerware and presentation is so neat, unlike the other dim sums in town. My friends and I had a blast. Well definitely be coming back. Thank you so much .
Amazing food
Great decoration about the best parts of China. Service is good. Dim Sum is acceptable. I do like the Chinese Tea.
Beautiful bldg, pleasant atmosphere & food was very good. Prices are reasonable. Will certainly go back.
Great food and friendly staff, location is so so, but inside is pretty nice
Pretty good dim sum spot in Saskatoon
Best Cantonese food in Saskatoon!
We couldn t wait for the opening and we went for the first time on their opening week. Super busy but the interior looks amazing. Something we haven t seen before in Saskatoon (Saskatchewan as a whole) it looks like something from a movie inside. Good good, good service and very friendly staff. Parking: Full free parking stalls.
My favourite restaurant in the city. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and good service. I am so sad it is closed. I want it to open again. I would go there every meal of every day if i had enough money to eat the good food and support the workers. I cry sometimes when I think of the fact that I can no longer eat at Dragon Emperor. It s something so wonderful that I might not ever get to experience again. O God! Why have you forsaken me so?
Is this place going to open up again???
One of my favorite restaurants. The food is delicious, service great, the most important thing is restaurant makes everything nice and clean.
So I heard about this place from someone on FB So I decided to check it out. The first time I was here it was for take-out when I arrived it was packed and as you may have already read or heard it was busy!! The staff seemed to be doing ok since they seemed a bit overwhelmed and dealing with a large crowd. I am guessing that they were not expecting the turn out they had however they seemed to be doing their best managing food orders, take out, dim sum rounds, clearing tables, people trying to pay while also following COVID protocols at the entrance. Even though they were crazy busy I still got my food within under 20 minutes. I decided to grab a take out menu with me to see their other options and possibly return. Today I was able to return and i ordered the same dishes that I had ordered for take out. I have to say that the environment was more calm and I was able to take in more of the details in the restaurant, the place is beautiful!! The staff were so tentative during our visit, they were checking up on us constantly and making sure that drinks were never empty, these are only a couple of details from the service that we received today. I have never received customer service like I did today. As we were leaving I asked how long they had been opened for and they said a week! I was complimenting them on the decor when the staff said oh, and upstairs there are more tables and karaoke my reaction was say, what? Karaoke omg!! They offered to give me a tour and I said yes! This place is amazing and unique!! In my personal opinion I think this might be Saskatoons new little gem. So if you have a group of 6 or more to bring I would suggest to give them a heads up so that they may accommodate you accordingly ! I cannot wait to rent out one of their karaoke rooms while I enjoy some amazing food!!! I took a few photos but you need to see this place in person in order to appreciate the small details and if you who decide to check them out I suggest you give them a couple of chances while they settle into their new business that way you will experience the food and service they have to offer.
Our order was a shambles when trying order out. Dim sum is not available after a certain time which is fine but trying to order by telephone was painful. We did get our food in a timely manner but the quality was lacking. Way overpriced it was definitely not worth 100 dollars. Extremely disappointed. Will not be ordering again.
We haven t made it yet for dim sum but went for a family dinner. Great decor, attentive service, good portions and a fun dinner overall.
Ordered pick up and was extremely happy. Service was great and I was happily greeted at the door by Phil. Food was wonderfully prepared and tasted great.
The foods are bland, were fine. but we got the food is no fresh, has gone bad. very bad :(
I went there in the evening. Food was okay, but the service definitely needs an improvement. Lots of people recommend the dimsum so maybe Ill give it an other try in the morning. Updated on the dim sum, I gave it a try today and what a disappointment. The beef rib that they severed had gone bad and non of them apologize, all the sever has said was oh ,Ill take it away. Most of the food is average at most. Saskatoon definitely have better dim sum place than this. For being a higher end dimsum/restaurant, the quality of the food and service definitely needs to game up. Will not be coming back.
A local favorite that lives to its reputation! Best chinese restaurant we had so far! Authentic and delicious
nice food definitely will come back and try more dishes
Rip off, my dad ordered duck on menu was $29.99, was charged $42 when I picked up order. No receipt either. Duck was dry & tasteless. They wont get anymore business from me.
Number.73 tofu and shrimp Yummy
Lots of unusual choices, alll tasty.
Incredible. Hot and fresh.
The food was excellent. The place is brand new. Beautiful wash rooms Staff was great
We are impressed on our dining experience tonight. Service was great! Delicious food.
Excellent food, very impressed with the service and the decor. Private dining rooms upstairs are nice.
Booked private room with my family. This restaurant has very chic cultural interior. The food was authentic, amazing and very tender. The waitress and waiters were very nice to my family. Thank you for the amazing experience!
Excellent. Cart service. Good assortment of interesting dishes. Open floor plan with lots of room. Highly recommend. Kind of obscure looking exterior so not dead simple to find.
First time trying tonight, the building is very very beautiful. No complaints about the food,it was hot and tasty.Service was not good when it was 3/4 empty.Language barrier, was all we could do to get a glass of water..my son went to the washroom to get a refill. No liquor menu,we wanted a chinese beer,we were shown cans of molson canadian. One flaw in the very tasty fried rice was frozen mixed vegetables..really ?? We seen a liquor list at the till,it showed wine, and probably 10 different brands of beer.I might give this place, one more try.Would have loved to be able to try the dim sum.
What a beautiful place to walk into .....the food wast tasty
Some different flavours than the other 2 major dimsum places. Different but very good. We will definitely return.
Nice new clean establishment, orders were relatively quick after ordering and the staff were friendly. Ample parking and a good experience. Food was really good!
I am so glad this place is here. I missed Genesis so much, and this brings back all the special memories I made bringing friends and family to my favorite restaurant. Everything Ive tried has been so tasty and delicious!! Definitely stop in!
The best dim sum place in Saskatoon
The food is good and the service is good. We drove two and a half hours from Regina. We had already had afternoon tea before coming here. We were not very hungry at first, but after the food was served, it was really delicious. Every dish was full of flavor. , especially black fish! Even though I wasn t hungry, I still ate a lot! Thumbs up! Nice food and service!
Had a great dim sum brunch along with a rice noodle dish for the four of us. The interior is lovely although did miss windows a little but the Asian artwork is a highlight. Comparing to the other main place in town they are very competitive in pricing maybe a tiny bit more but I felt that the size, quality of ingredients and flavours more than made up for it! For example, I found a bit more meat in the noodle dish. They have opened since December 2021 during a pandemic so hope that the city supports this great addition to authentic Chinese food. We are looking forward to trying a dinner there soon!
A must go to restaurant for anyone looking to satisfy their cravings for authentic Cantonese cuisine. Dragon Emperor offers great selection of dim sum and traditional Chinese dishes. Philip managing the restaurant brought many years of experience running Genesis to ensure only the highest quality of food is being served to customers. His team of servers are attentive, friendly, always going above and beyond to take care of you. Being a foodie from Toronto, I highly recommend this place as it always exceeded my expectation every time I have family gatherings here. Upstairs VIP rooms with Karaoke is a bonus for privacy to celebrate special occasions.
I really love this restaurant. Their dim sum is freshly made and amazing. I would say they are the best Chinese restaurant in Saskatoon!
an awesome place to hangout with your friends.
Excellent food. Great service
Food was good, slow service
Great food and good service
We heard so many good things about this restaurant, so decided to give it a try for Dim sum. We were not overly impressed. The food was barely warm. The staff are carrying trays of food...which is fine, but many times I thought they were going to dump food on our table as they try to serve food off the tray and then try to write down the number of items on the receipt. The service was good and the restaurant was busy but for how busy it was the food was barely coming out of the kitchen and many times we had to wait. I dont know if we will be back anytime soon. We love Dim Sum so after hearing so many good things we were all a tad disaapointed
Dont expect your meal to come. You will wait over an hour and see nothing. They will apologize repeatedly but have no time frame. Walked out.
Most delicious shrimp dumplings; both steamed and deep fried. Excellent food.
Stop scrolling and eat here. Why? Friendly and kind staff. Very clean and unique decor atmosphere. Amazing quality and presentation of food at what feels like a steal given the price. Quick service with plenty of open and comfortable seating space. Massive menu of options to pick from. Private rooms for parties with entertainment included (bar, karaoke, mahjong tables and a kids play room). Lots of easy parking.
Good food and lots of function rooms you can choose from
Amazing food and service. The best dim sum restaurant in the area. Philip from Genesis is the head chef here and continues to deliver on quality as always :)
Really slow service when it was barely busy just left the place without our orders and just decided to eat somewhere else.
Staff is ok, its pretty expensive but its really pretty inside, best bathrooms Ive ever seen in an asain restaurant!
Excellent food, friendly staff.
Good food ,friendly staff . Big portions.
Went here today for lunch with family and I have been hearing great things because the owners used to own Genesis which was the best Chinese restaurant in Saskatoon. The food portions were huge even the dimsum which is great portion wise, servers were nice but somedon t speak much English, the atmosphere was great but almost everything we had today did not taste good except the fried eggplant with peanuts and chili, the har how and the deep fried custard balls. The steamed beef rolls which were huge was bland had an itty bitty sauce that went with it, the fried shrimp rolls were so salty didn t come with sauce, the steamed pork ribs in black bean sauce was also salty and clunky because it was tossed in either corn starch or flour before it was steamed which I thought was odd, the fish maw soup hardly had maw but had lots of tofu and the wonton soup had too much noodles in it. Not sure if I would go back because I was disappointed.
Best dim sum in Saskatoon. The staff are amazing and its the best crab rangoon Ive ever had
Awesome food!!! So glad Phil came back!!!
Overall the food was good and service was very friendly and attentive. The building itself is well decorated and looks very clean and pleasant inside. We ordered beef fried rice, beef chow fan, deep fried shrimp dumpling, Peking pork chop, and deep fried marinated chicken. All the dishes were well cooked and very tasty. Only issue I had was with the deep fried marinated chicken. The chicken was overcooked and dry. Would recommend going here if you havent tried it yet.
I got invited from my friend to enjoy a lunch to celebrate my late birthday. We have greatest Chinese food in Saskatoon. No matter the food or service, they did so well. By the way, here is a good place for weddings
Another great Chinese dine out place in stoon.
The morning tea was very unauthentic. The roast duck was a substandard product that was frozen and fried the next day. The waiter disappeared after serving the food. However, the stir-fried dishes were average and the only highlight in the store.
OK...so this restaurant may not be in the most desired location but its worth it. The interior is sparkling and fresh and the service has a real family affair feel to it. The dim sum choices are great for quite reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit!!
Amazing food-dim sum-very clean and spotless new restaurant-friendly service-I love food and I will frequent this place often
Service is horrible , food is decent definitely not the best dimsum in the city and for the price you pay
Over priced, should I say overpriced again. 4 of us, we eat dim sum all the time , first time here and for 4 people dim sum really didn t have that much food it was $90 over priced I could think of many places to go eat at $25 per person and actually get something to eat. Don t think we will be returning to this establishment we have 2 other dim sum choices that don t break the bank
We ordered off the dim sum menu, good food and service. Awesome slightly tacky over fancy decorations. Well be back!
Friendly staff, great food and beautiful art. Will definitely be back!
Best dimsum restaurant in town
Yummy and Nice place
Hong Kong style refreshments are very authentic.
Excellent food, exceptional service. Will be back!
Had a great meal with a variety of interesting dishes that were ALL delicious! The place is in an odd location but the parking was fine and surprisingly, the decor was very elegant and fit the bill. No issues with service. We will definitely be coming back for the spicy pork, duck, spicy beans, and shrimp dishes!
We booked a private dining room upstairs that can seat up to 16. There are other private rooms you can book with up to 5 tables and a private bar for functions or meetings. There is even a majong table and a karaoke room! The decor is ornate and sparrrkly. We had spicy pork belly, ginger chicken, tofu, duck, cod, fish and shrimp balls, fried prawns, fried pork, lobster, spicy beans, greens, and red bean soup. Service was great. We were there on a Friday night. Next I will be going back for some dim sum on a weekend. I posted a reel vid you can watch on Instagram @TheBreadBitchSK
It is a beautiful new restaurant. We have now been there twice. The first time the dim sum was good but with a very limited a la carte selection. The second time, still a very limited a la carte selection. We did order some items off off the dim sum menu. They were ok. We do realize that covid has affected such businesses, but for us the a la carte is a big part of the experience and seeing something new and trying it. The service we did receive was very good.
Too expensive and not delicious
Typical wild Sunday brunch, busy.restaurant. Good food but poor menu for Dim Sum
Cool interior designs! The food is UNREAL! You can play games/ mahjong/ sing karaoke upstairs!!! I am so booking it for my friends and staff Christmas party!!
Ordered a lunch combo for pick up. The rice was burnt, so all my food tasted burnt in the container. The sweet and sour pork had no taste at all. Worst meal I have had in a very long time
One of my favorite places for din sum. Food tastes fresh and flavourful. Highly recommend
Food was great and staff were awesome!
Wow!! Very nice staff. Food is fabulous. And its so pretty in here.
Everything in the picture was fantastic. Loved the BBQ pork buns.
By far my favorite dimsum. I live in Regina. When I visit Saskatoon. this place is on my potential must stops.
Very nice restaurant and great Chinese food. Strongly recommend
Awesome place for Chinese food in Saskatoon. The food and environment are both amazing ! Dim Sum is my favorite. Good work, Chef !
We heard that Phil was back so we went for dim sum today and we were so glad to see Phil back to work. The new place is amazing; clean and new but was sad to see it was quite small in there... this could lead to long wait times. On the plus side, they take reservations like the old days. the quality of food was what you expect when Phil is in charge it was yummy. The amount of staff they have working is very good, very attentive and always at the table to see if we needed anything. The only drawback was the staffs lack of knowledge regarding gluten free items on menu; nothing is marked on the menu.
I judge this shop to be an authentic Cantonese dim sum . There is no dim sum for dinner because the real Cantonese breakfast snacks are freshly made every morning
Let me start by saying the decor is beautiful!! I love it. We visited in the evening, so we had the non dim sum menu. Unfortunately, the food was average at best, and one of our dishes was terrible. Also, wait stuff is in total disarray, so hopefully that improves with time. The waitress left us a pen and paper to write down our order for her! I hope the food and service continue to improve as the aesthetic is one of the best in the city.
Amazing dim sum!
Very nice building, food was okay, service is working thru being new issues. portion to price was poor. truthfully I was expecting more. Will give them a shot at Dim Sum.
Crab Rangoon is back! Nice new building and restaurant. Dim sum was delicious.
We were there for dim-sum today (Sunday) around 11:45-12:40, very busy and super crowded. There was not much seatings for small groups which seemed to be the majority of people waiting. The waiting area is very small at the entrance with two chairs. The options on the dim-sum carts were very limited (maybe we were late?). We got some deep fried items and a couple of steam items. I asked a waitress for a menu to order directly from the kitchen. After filling out on the order menu, one of the waitresses said there is no need to fill out the menu for dim-sum and that she would just grab the items we wanted; this never happened. We didn t get to order the items we wanted ( sticky nice, steam BBQ pork buns, steam rice roll etc.) at all. Not sure why, maybe it was just too busy in the kitchen or just bad service that needs to improve. The non dim-sum item we ordered from the menu was the beef fried rice noodle, which never showed up after waiting 20 - 25 minutes. We had a waiter cross it off our bill and we left in disappointment. Over all, the taste of the food is very similar to other dim sum places but more pricy, staff seemed to be undertrained and they didn t seem to have a clue on how to help costumers. We will not go back there in a near future.
I have Terrible experience with them. They charge everyone 29.95 a whole roasted duck. But charge me 47.73. I am very upset.
Great service, Great decor, Excellent dim-sum. We were inside and eating in very little time. Highly recommend.
