I called in at 4:58 pm and ordered 2 smorgs for pickup, I arrived about 20 mins later and let them know I was there for my pickup. At 5:40 and after several walk-in orders were served before me I left without my food. This is not the first time they did this but it will be the last. With so many good Chinese restaurants in the city I will not come back

Ordered from her off of door dash, the food had a weird after taste like it had been reheated in order to serve. Disgusting.

The wonton soup is by far the best in the city I order Lg deluxe my son Lg regular that in itself is a meal!!

I gave this place two chances at takeout: fail both times. Just blah. Lunchbag letdown. Gag me. Its Raw! Kinda makes me wanna throw up a little bit now.

In the 20 plus years my family has been eating there we have never been disappointed. Sure they may have an off day like everyone does but the food is still good. Just ordered from Peking on June 16th and food had a tainted taste. I did notice not many people were dining in. I wont be eating there for a long while. Parking: No problem with finding parking.

Great little spot, the buffet was lacking in items but had all the essentials, also the place has been around for almost 50 years and one of the original waitresses still works there, I would recommend going just to see her!

i ordered chow mien and it was so bad. like it was from yesterdays food. didnt order from there ever again.

The worst buffet ever. Yes its all day, which means if food is left from lunch it will stay there until supper. Hot food was basically 6 options. The only this fresh and edible s&s pork. Dessert was one piece of dried up dollar store carrot cake. The potato salad was delicious though. For $18 bucks just spend an extra $4 bucks and go to best Asia or great buffet of China. This one is really awful. Go just to see how awful it is for the experience lol.

Ordered at 5:30. Food was left over from lunch. Nasty. Soup grose. Didnt get extra shrimp that was ordered and charged. All around grose. Dog didnt even eat it.

Still the same atmosphere,food made me sick!! Ordered a pick up and I see theyve cut back on what they give you on a dinner for one. Its best to just go there in person! I personally would not go back. Once the food makes you sick in done!!

Brutal never order from this place ever, ordered food and delivery guy dropped off at wrong house and they wouldn t even answer my call when they screwed up, called multiple times.

Ordered off smorg for pickup food tasted old. Shrimp cold could barely chew coating, beef was tuff and barely chewable chicken wings and drumettes burnt. Should of known better than to order 2 hours before closing,have to find new place. Been going there prob over 30 -35 years . Shame used to be good .

Blandest Chinese food Ive ever had. My sweet and sour pork was neither sweet nor sour and the chicken chow mein was flavourless.

Not worth $19.40 (one person & tax). I agree with the other reviews this year. It used to be good, but now its a waste of time and money.

This is my go-to place for Wonton Soup. It is seriously delicious. Its always fresh and the wontons are perfectly done every time. I crave it a few times a year and nothing else will do. Its a zillion times better than chicken noodle soup for healing properties.

Ordered on skip. No one confirmed the order. Waited for about 15mins and then called the restaurant. There was no answer when we called. Simply canceled the order and tried a different place.

One of, if not, the best place in Saskatoon for Chinese food. I have tried most of the other places in Saskatoon and keep coming back. Peking restaurant has been around for decades, and with good reason. Their flavour and take out menu are the best Ive found.

Foods good. Fun lady is still there!! I cant remember going there that she wasnt.. shes even older than me!!!

The place needs a serious update it hasnt changed in twenty years . the owner need to work less than her her employees and the food was like eating cardboard, vary stale for lunch buffet with restaurant opening at 11am Ive in and out of peking for many years and I have to say it has gone down hill and those pictures of the food in the intro are vary deceiving from what I ate .

This is a distasteful joke because a vehicle literally drove through the restaurant at one point (very unfortunate) BUT this place is a great hidden gem hole-in-the-wall. This restaurant has a small little buffet of tasty, all-you-can-eat food for a low price that makes me feel so happy. The place is very quaint and quiet and a great place for anyone who doesnt want the hassle or crowd of a larger establishment such as the Great Buffet of China. Every time I have come here, it has been mostly empty, and is run by lovely people. I cherish this place, and it has been around for a long time.

I truly have a great appreciation for this place...Yeah sometimes some of the veggies and desert do not look so tasty...but the chinese food is very delicious...honey garlic ribs and noodles are a 5 out 5...the sweet and sour spareribs sauce however tastes like it is from a bottle of premade sauce...wish it was homemade...but all in all chinese food is very tasty...love the staff...always polite and attentive...jus came from the Great Buffet of China rude very rude mostly everytime when will i learn...Peking has consistently kind staff and consistently delicious food...truly a gem of Saskatoon

Love eating here

Ordered a smorg, asked for chicken balls, no shrimp. They gave me just shrimp. Then after I got home is when I noticed. I had told them, Im not picking up the correct order, I want it delivered. As I have alrighty wasted my gas. He said 30mins, Its been 1 1/2 hr. Called back and the lady was not being nice over the phone, but she said he will bring the right thing. Hopefully I get it, worst customer service. Save yourself the hassle just get Thein Vietnam, good prices, good customer service. Update; they didnt bring anything again. Worst customer service.

My favourite little buffet

Very bad food. Went to pick up chow Maine chicken fried rice chicken balls and ginger beef everything was cold seemed like they just took the rice from the fridge it was so stiff and hard not eatable at all. Called them this mornin as it was my lunch break when I had ordered this for my staff and was completely not worth the 45.00 I spent then I call there this morning and the guy who answered didnt wanna take my complaint and hung up on me..people shouldnt own a restaurant if they dont know how to run one !!

Always a good experience! Been going for over 35yrs! Small all you can eat Buffet is delicious! Their prices have gone up, of course, but still cheaper than other Buffets in Saskatoon. If you get a buffet to go, youre going to have heaping portions, feeds 2 of us!

This place is not very good! Anyone that says this is the best chinese in town is living a seltered life. Worst won ton soup ever! Not only is the food subpar there is hardly any selection. And you can barely squeeze in around the island.

I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, I ate here today. Food was hard as rock, basically like they went to Superstore and bought it and heated it up.

I ordered a chicken lo mein and ginger chicken for delivery. I was told ginger chicken was sautéed but when I received my order, it was deep fried and my lo mein was chow mein(large thick noodles) When I called to complain as it was their mistake for getting my order wrong they said there is noting they can do about it. In my experiences, when my order was placed wrong I would receive some sort or solution towards the problem but in this case I didn t, I do not recommend this place. The food wasn t great either. (Very blan and oily) I had to unfortunately throw it out. My $40went down the drain.

Went to the buffet, greatly disappointed. Food was old, cold, tasted and looked like the food had been sitting out for many hours. Sauces were congealed, salad dressing had a thick crust. Veggies dried out. Decor was ok but slightly outdated, staff was friendly enough. I could only eat half of my food, and within ten minutes I was violently ill, as was the other person I ate supper with. Hours later, I ve been sick twice since and still feel queasy. This restaurant is gross. Kitchen staff swept and handled garbage, then continued to handle buffet food and customers takeaway orders without washing their hands in between. There are better restaurants in the area. I won t be returning to this place; it s unhygienic and the food is gross.

Its a small buffet but tasty and you can eat your fill. But most of all the women there are all really really nice. I love supporting them by eating there.

Takeout has always been very good. Eat-in buffet isnt as good, some dishes stale and small meat pieces in their chicken balls. Pleasant staff and clean. Good prices.

good Chinese food that combines Chinese and Western styles. There are buffets and a la carte options. The buffet has two main dishes and four dishes. Salads and desserts are also available. Chaos soup. Fried chicken wings and three or four other fried items. It s best to look at the buffet dishes before considering whether to order a la carte. It s best to wait for the fresh Chaos Soup.

Food is good and fast

The food was so good. I eat there alot and every time i go there its so clean and the food is always fresh and hot. The service is incredible and friendly. This is a perfect place for a nice family meal.

The food was largely terrible and the washroom was filthy. There was no doubt some of the food was no fresh, fried rice smelled like the egg had turned. Prawns and chicken balls were the only items Id say were good.

Simple buffet. Not too many items but everything was good western Chinese food. Wife loved the chicken wings. Said it reminded her of her moms fried chicken.

Very dark and dreary place with furnished and decor from the last century. The food is the North American version of Chinese food one cliche after another. It depresses me to go in there. And, its not cheap. 31 for two adults to partake in the buffet, no drinks.

I sugest you rotate your product before you refill your bins, and put new bins in every hour or two as I got FOOD POISONONG and other than that change your product selection every so often

The place is hit or miss. When it is busy and the food is fresh, its average. Be wary when its not busy as the food on the buffet can taste and look stale. Supper buffet average 15 dollars plus tax.

Love this place. Its been our familys go to eatery since my grand-parents time. The late owner spoke Cree to us every time we walked in restaurant. His daughter is doing a good job keeping the business running. The food is freshly made, as soon as the buffet table starts running low on any items they fill it right back up. Your sure to have the items you want on every trip to the buffet.

Im from Toronto and I know what Chinese food should taste like. We have China town and authentic Chinese food. Ive eaten at a few Chinese places in Saskatoon and some arent all that bad but this one.... absolute WORST Chinese food Ive ever had. How can u screw up Chinese food when youre chinese?!?! Never will I order from this place again.
