Beautiful patio, private room for functions, awesome lounge
The food, milkshakes, and service were excellent, but the space lacked accessibility and had some safety concerns. On the way to the bathroom, I tripped over a stage corner while trying to navigate past a chair not in use positioned in a tight space. Please consider walkspaces should be a minimum of 36" at use of a chair and ADA notes for spaces where wheelchair users need to make turns or navigate around obstacles, wider clearances of 42-48 inches (3.5-4 feet). If you are ever doing a redesign of this area, please consider a large rounded stage. Once in the bathroom, I noticed that the stall handles were difficult to operate, effectively locking users in. The soap and paper towel dispensers were installed approximately 5 feet off the ground, making them challenging to reach. One dispenser required reaching over a high counter/change table, which would be manageable if it were at a lower height. Additionally, the door handle was about 4 feet off the ground, further limiting ease of use. These design elements make the bathrooms less accessible for all users. I encourage you to consider more inclusive design practices to better serve all your patrons.
Don't expect to find healthy food here (I mean there might be salads but who would eat those here) A nice old fashioned vibe and greasy diner food is what you'll get here. Bummer they don't have the poodle skirts and leather jackets like when they first opened the other location.
Went for breakfast. Cons: 1 side of the pancake was rock hard inedible, and overall Smitty's and Denny's have better cakes, bacon was rubbery, coffee was cold. I sent the coffee back and still cold, so went to McDonald's after. They charged me for the coffee. My partners waffles were slightly burnt. Pros: atmosphere is fun, breakfast potatoes were tasty, staff were very sweet.
We’ve always loved coming to Pink Cadillac. It’s pleasantly nostalgic for us. I was a bit disappointed that we were seated at a corner in the back room.. There was apparently no room on the main dining rooms. There was 7 of us with a reservation. We were stuck looking at a couple of walls covered with 8x10 pictures of the ‘50’s. Most of the food was excellent- steak sandwich, burgers & soup. Mustang Sally pasta was a bit bland and plain- a few veggies would have been nice. The chicken was delicious. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and were given 2 King ice cream sandwiches for a complementary dessert. Big, beautiful and delicious. My only suggestion would be to make a softer chocolate chip cookie. We couldn’t even cut it with a sharp knife. The service was just a bit slow and the table was not fully stocked- no sugar or salt & pepper. Water glasses were not refilled. The restaurant was busy however, maybe a bit short staffed for an extra busy Sunday lunch.
We loved this place. Such a wonderful experience! Our waitress was kick ass and the atmosphere was on point. We will definitely go back again when we are in the city. Food was hot, quick and delicious. Check it out if you haven't !
I like their menu selection. they have catchy name of food in the menu. I ordered their ring of fire burger which is supposedly spicy( not as spicy as my personal preference) but best burger i had for a long time.. I love the restaurant theme, i cant help my self being nostalgic. they matches as well the music inside and the show they play in their television . Their service is great and we did not wait long for our food to be served even though the place is half full when we get there.. Prices are bit high versus other fastfood restaurant but it's reasonable i guess. I highly recommend this place for a family and friends gathering.
I recently dined at Pink Cadillac on 8th Street and had mixed feelings about the experience. The ambience is definitely a highlight—quiet, with great music and nostalgic decor featuring photos of Elvis Presley and other musicians, really setting the mood. The Lemon Pepper Wings were a standout, truly delicious and well-seasoned, but the Beef Burger ("Good Golly Miss Molly") was just okay, nothing exceptional. While the overall atmosphere was pleasant, the seating arrangement left something to be desired, as the tables are so close together that it felt like I was dining with the family at the next table, which took away from the privacy and comfort of the experience. On a positive note, the service was excellent; my server, a young girl with a big smile, was attentive and friendly, which added a nice touch to the evening. In summary, while the Lemon Pepper Wings and the ambience were great, the cramped seating and average burger brought the experience down a notch. A solid 3-star experience for me.
Great atmosphere. Fully 50’s vibe. Food was outstanding. However, took 42 minutes from order to receiving food ( two basic burgers and fries). No communication from server for 1/3 hour. Water not refilled, not asked if we wanted more drinks. Wasn’t until manager came to table that she noticed we had no cutlery, ketchup or water. Did get a discount but hugely disappointing
Always a spectacular experience. The food is inspired by and in a wonderful way, brings a Golden age of delicious food and geniune hospitality to your dining delight. Plenty of choice in meals for all the family. A must go stop if you are in Saskatoon visiting and desire a wonderful place to eat that doesnt break the bank. They even had a live singer there once or twice when we have been there. She was exceptionally well presented and didnt intrude on the eating experience. The waitress we had Sage, I believe was her name, was polite and knowledgeable. Giving our table and all the table around us ample attention. Pink Cadillacs truly is a joy and a monthly staple for my family and many others.
Food was good. Ordered fish and chips but substituted a salad for the chips. Fish was fried a bit too long but tasted good. Salad was good but portion was on the small side. Stole some chips from family and they were quite tasty. Our server was excellent. Attentive without hovering and excellent with the children in our group. Her name was Autumn.
Oh my gawsh! Straight outta the past. What a beautiful establishment! The food was amazing the portions are outrageous ! Our waitress named autumn was and excellent server was also delighted to find it is not affiliated with the car dealership lol
If you want a fun brunch, lunch or dinner....with great food that is original, and leaving full and very happy...then just come here. Prices are very good, burgers are just fantastic, loaded dogs are also great! Its probly the only place where i want to try everything on the menu. Also perfect for date night or when we come in with our two little ones. Simply, just go!
This place was awesome! Im from out of town, but Ive been coming to Saskatoon 2 to 3 times a year with my husband because of his work. We decided to try this place out, and it does not disappoint! You step in and it was like a blast from the past, the decor, furniture and food was absolutely delicious. Great service! Our server was SO GREAT with our 3 kids 7 and under, and she was always around to help out and make sure we were good. And bonus points that we ended up coming on a night, (Wednesday) where kids meals are only $6!!!
First of all service was great our server was attentive and polite no complaints there the food was tasty too. However , right at the end of our meal I found a fairly big bug in my drink and a small hair on my plate we were already basically done so i didnt say anything ... I went to use the bathroom before we were leaving and they were quite atrocious . One stall in the ladies said out of order and then to try to get into the stall I had to hover the toilet to be able to open or close the door . There was no soap in either dispenser and the paper towel was on the counter instead of in the dispenser. The restaurant wasnt busy at the time so there really was no excuse for the bathroom to look how it did . I then asked my bf how the mens bathroom was he said 2 of the 3 urinals had pee almost over flowing the urinal and the floor was disgustingly sticky . Honestly had i used the bathroom before we ate i wouldnt have been able to eat after seeing the condition of the bathroom . We likely wont be back due to this .
The place is well decorated and has a really good 70s retro vibe. Our waitress was excellent and really good with our kids. Their signature burger is really good and they are generous with their portions. Kid-friendliness: The first thing youll notice when walking in is the retro cartoons playing. The waitering staff are friendly and good with kids. Theres a milkshake bar where the kids pictures that they draw are displayed. All in all very kid friendly and welcoming.
Great food, great prices, love the atmosphere
Fun decor, great food, great staff and value for your $
Blast from the past! Excellent food, service and decor you need to see to believe. Very highly recommended!!
I d go back for the Big Kid Milkshakes again and again as well as the service but the food was disappointing. The decor also left a little to be desired. Kid-friendliness: On our visit in Saskatoon Pink Cadillacs had the best high chair option for our baby which we greatly appreciated!
Huge portions, staff are very friendly and dressed for the era. And every morsel is rad! (No, thats so 60s) I mean far out and groove! (Nope 70s) lets settle on ,wonderful
Such a beer building great food at amazing prices, one of our go to places when I visit Saskatoon.
The food was so disappointing. I ordered the steak and asked for it rare, I received it well done. My server did not ask how our food was. Probably because she knew it was overcooked? The steak aside, the Ceasar salad was tasteless (since I had to pay extra I would expect a decent salad). On the upside, the onion rings were excellent! I liked the Flintstones on the tv during lunch time! And the decor is fun. My waitress was friendly but to not enquire how our food was after dropping it off is not good. My meal alone was $35 (before tip)
We went there and waited for 15 min for anyone to even talk to us. Out eventual waitress was on her cell phone giggling away while we waited. Another walked past us 3 times and just smiled. This used to be an amazing restaurant now we are done with it and it seems like they are done with us as well
Always love eating here.
Polina was are server and she was excellent. Attentive and sweet, food was great as usual!
Very cute old school diner decor. The food was amazing as well as the service would definitely recommend and will return.
Decor & service was fantastic. The veal cutlet was paper thin and rock hard; But the onion rings were amazing. Food
Really great food, little lacking in service details but still good service. Really love the decor as well. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly
Menu needs an update
honestly ive never had a bad experience with this staff whether that be ordering takeout or dining in, just ordered some food to get me through my night shift here and when i went to pick it up the server still made sure to have a conversation with me even though i wasnt dining in. i appreciate them so much :)
Good food, great atmosphere. Food took a little bit too long to arrive tho.
Such a nice place
Food was very good but the atmosphere was amazing
Love this place. Great food and great atmosphere!
The food and service is absolutely fantastic, highly recommend
I hate to say bad things. But the food here is terrible. The atmosphere is great. Our waiter was very attentive. But Ill never go back and the only people Id recommend this place to is parents of young kids.
Once again, way too much food. Lol. Will not go away hungry from here. Loved it!
Food is pretty horribly bland and disappointing. Wait staff is friendly and helpful but not enough to counteract the disappointment of 4 inches of bun on a hamburger.
Food was quick, had a nice lunch took kids. The kids meal were great priced.
We love this place! 50s theme is fantastic and food is delicious! Lots of gluten free options
A 50/60s style diner with American food items. The only complaints from my kids were that the burgers were too big, to most non-picky eaters that would be a compliment! Anyways the food was good, friendly service, clean restaurant and bathrooms. I would return again in the future.
Honestly a great place to eat at. The atmosphere was awesome. Our server was great and most of the food was delicious.
Great food awesome milk shakes.
The most amazing place to eat! I was singing like a kid in a candy store! Absolutely loved this place! Highly recommend!
Nice place. Great atmosphere. I got fish and chips. I give that 0 stars. It was dry and way over cooked. Fries were a 4/5. Others with me got burgers 4/5...good but not great. Finished with a banana split that did not have a banana??!!?? Staff brought a banana out separately. They didnt have enough vanilla ice cream on hand for the kids meal treat.....not a big deal they replaced with another flavor, but how do you run out of vanilla ice cream? Staff were friendly, but how dp you forget the banana in a banana split?!?! All in all 3.5/5 stars for me. Not horrible (except the fish) but not great.
Fish and chips fish was dry and over cooked We went as a group of 13 but each paid there own bill they added a 15% tip to each bill was not impressed with this as this was a seniors lunchtime.
Sitting in the restaurant as I write this review. Took over a hour and twenty mins for our food. No apologies or anything. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant.
Charming 50s interior, but pretty underwhelming overall; management needs a wake-up call. Our waitress was very kind but they seemed severely understaffed. She was literally running to try to meet the needs of the customers. She needed more help. We were there on a quiet Wednesday afternoon, and the food took forever. When it finally arrived, my salad was sandy to the point of inedible. The fries and hotdog my kid ordered seemed okay. On learning of my complaint, the lazy manager didnt come talk to me but left it to her overworked wait staff to handle, at first offering only a 20% discount until I pushed to have it taken off the bill. It doesnt seem like the management cares about their staff or their customers.
Very cool 60s restaurant
I was here one night for some local entertainment that was putting on a show and had some supper. The waitresses who seated and served me were so helpful and they were happy and friendly! I hate fish and chips. And apple pie for dessert. The food was awesome. My only complaint was that when I got a drink refill, the glass had some food stuck to the rim on the inside. Kind of unpleasant but I looked the other way on it
Staff was great very polite fast service
My dish was pretty good (the soup wasnt my fav.) The place was fun. It was loud and busy. Id give it a 4.5 for service and food. And overall a 4.5
Too slow for lunch you need to be in an out
Excellent value, quick service, and tasty meals make this a great place to have a bite. My daughter loved her tasty Monster Mash milkshake. The vibe is fun and we really enjoyed the decor.
Our server was Cody and he was on top of his game. The food was delicious and the portions were really decent. Loved the decor. Just recommended to all my friends and family if theyre ever in Saskatoon.
Decided to go to celebrate our 45th anniversary at Pink Cadillac. Once we sat down and ordered, we both thought we could just enjoy ourselves. But the first thing that happened was our server came to tell my husband that he couldnt have the steak he had ordered, because they were out of stock. She did apologize. So my husband ordered the hot hamburger which he didnt like the taste of, and I had the spaghetti and meatballs, that I disliked the thick tomato sauce, taste, consistency and the 3 huge meatballs were too large and ground too fine to be enjoyable. We have never been so disappointed in the meals.
Cool place, I ate in the car table
Been here a couple times. Always good food but today (may 31st 2024 around 5-5:30pm) I ordered food to go and played vlts while waiting. The waitress said she d let me know when my food is ready. Just about 45 mins or so after I ordered I came out and the waitress was eating my food out of my to go box on the counter. My food was cold and the woman was eating my food! I saw her do it and then her and the other waitress acted like nothing happened and just kept laughing to themselves about it. I didn t make a fuss I just took my food and left but I hope the owner sees this review and can act accordingly. You ll see her eating my food on camera at the bar sometime between 5-540 on may 31st 2024. Please take care of this. That s just unacceptable. I hope to hear from the owner/manager with a report on how this will be made right. I even tipped her for my to go order and she decided to not tell me when it was ready and ate it, then gave it to me anyway. Not a great way to spend $33 on 3/4 of a meal lol
Arrived before 10am and it wasnt overly busy so service should have been a lot better. We had to flag down a different staff member for coffee refills, cream, boxes, and the bill. Our server didnt even drop off our food. Beware if you have mobility issues because the regular stalls are tiny and way too tight for anyone with mobility issues to use. Overall not impressed
First time eating here, the food was mediocre. The hamburgers were flavorless, and the patties were very small. Had the poutine as well gravy was initially tasty. however, it had a bad aftertaste. The service was amazing, and our waitress went out of her way. She ended up chasing us to our car twice because we had forgotten a souther and a sippy bottle. She ended up with a 35$ tip!
Awesome little place, cheap beer and superb service.
Always great food at a very reasonable price! Love the food, service , and atmosphere at Pink Caddys!
The service is terribly slow; the staff lacks enthusiasm & stands around while customers are waiting for service. Food is pretty good and price is fair, as long as your willing to put up with the staff.
Went with friends, and it was a great place, with some unique foods with fun names, and service that was good and very friendly Parking: Right by 8th Street, plenty of space, and right near the door
Live music and really well done and full decor, the platter was a great deal
Visited the diner on a busy Sunday afternoon. The interior design takes you back to the 1950s, and the food tastes okay.
Came for a show, show was great. Our waitress was great. Manager not so much.
Mac and cheese is the first item you see on the list and it was BOIRNG aka had no taste and hot dog was just standard smokie not really grilled
First time at restaurant. Great atmosphere. Loved all the things to see.
This was a fun place to be, the food was good and the service was the best weve had in a long time.
Pretty sweet place food was good an service was great Love the interior Food
I have never been so disappointed with a restaurant. We arrived at 11:00 am. 4 adults and 2 small children under 5 years old. We ordered shortly after we were seated and waited and waited and waited for our food. We finally tracked down a server (not ours) and asked where our food was. We again waited and waited and waited. Then our server showed up and said she could rush the childrens food (and we were at almost an hour wait at this point). I had had enough and we got up to leave, then miraculously the childrens food showed up. We asked for them to box it and they came back out and said the rest of our food was ready. We decided to stay (big mistake) and ate what was probably one of the worst meals we have ever had. Mine had a foreign piece of meat in it so I quit eating it immediately. Now, we had been sitting there watching other groups getting the meals that had ordered long after us! That was unbelievable. 3 of us there have worked in the food industry before and a usually the establishment will give you a discount at the very least. We were offered mine for free, and 10% on the rest. We finally were offered 20% and the manager didnt even have the decency to come out and apologize to us. I am mad at myself for not continuing out the door when we were going to leave earlier. I will never set foot in a Pink Cadillac restaurant again. Thanks for ruining our Mothers Day brunch.....
The food is very good. I like the bandstand breakfast which includes bacon, ham, and a sausage. The service is usually great, however last visit it was terrible, mustve been a new recruit. I will be back.
Food was amazing, our server went above and beyond, we sat in the cool car table (you need to book that table in advance) will definitely be back! Only thing was wasn t a fan of the vegan gravy, maybe a beef gravy option would be good for those who do t like vegan gravy, other than that 5stars!!
Love this place. The food is always delicious
Waited over a half hour and still got cold food. Half of the order didnt come out once we finally did get some and were told it wasnt put in so had to wait longer. We were excited to go but it wont be a place that we will go often to if we do again
I wouldnt know how to rate the food we never got the chance to try some. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 which seems like a reasonable time to have dinner with my family. We walked into the establishment to be Greeted by a host that the first thing out of his mouth is that they will be closing in a half hour. What is that supposed to mean? Is it leave cause we dont have time for you or does it mean dont order any food but you can come in sit and just stare at the wall till we close. Either you seat us and say enjoy your meal or say your not open. Also what kind of restaurant closes that early? Never going back!
Beautiful restaurant to dine in or take for a first date
Excellent fish and chips
The atmosphere as you walk in is great. The service, being taken to a table and the service during our meal was excellent. However, the food was below par. It seemed like it was pre-made or Frozen. Overall we did have a good time there. Just wish the food was a little better.
Server was incredible!
Love this place! Gotta try their mac and cheese!
I don t think I have been to a better place to eat where the food is great, the atmosphere is fun and the service is immaculate. My kids are begging to go back. Food was delivered so quickly that my kids didn t even have time to go wild and the server kept them happy even surprising them with a freshly baked cookie the size of their heads to take to go. Fantastic place! Kid-friendliness: Amazing for kids and families!!!
Highly recommend the adult shakes! Yummm
Ive only had the milk shakes, they are delicious! My only complaint is the straws are so thin, the pieces in my shake kept getting stuck making it extremely difficult to enjoy.
Love this restaurant. I have the Buddy Holly Beef Sandwich every time. Very cool, vintage 1950 s atmosphere. Prices are VERY reasonable for our current 2024 economy.
Food was just ok. Fish in fish and chips over cooked. Sundae was great but how can you mess up ice cream and chocolate. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, gigantic cookie with meal. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes 8th street is
Had an excellent dinner tonight! Peyton was our server and was polite, answered my questions and even gave us a few extra minutes to figure out what we wanted. Definitely a good restaurant and I would return again.
It was good but I wish they had fruit for those that dont eat alot or want a healthier option
Amazing place for burgers and milkshakes.. family loved it, and we will be back
Fantastic experience Friday.night. Great friendly service and good food. Love that place!!!
It is a very different experience this time. Not over joyed, no cutlery was given, had to ask after food came, my order was wrong, had to cancel it, soup came with the meal instead of before. With servers standing around, it makes me wonder if Ill come back.
Excellent gluten free food in a fun atmosphere!
A great variety of food. You can even eat in a Cadillac which I found pretty cool. You can even build your own burger even one of the best caeser salads I had in a very long time. Highly recommend this restaurant. I will be coming back for sure....
We came today at 5:30. We were sat down by a window. I asked for a kids menu to the hostess. She gave my 3 year old an adult menu. Meh whatever. We waited over 15 minutes before our waitress came to introduce herself and several more minutes to get the kids menu. She offered crayons. They literally never came the entire meal. She even said she forgot about us towards the start of the meal. We ordered around 5:55. Food did not come until 6:50. She said it took so long because there was a sudden push for orders when she put it in, but it went from packed when we got there to super quiet when we left. I think she forgot to put the order In, as she had already forgotten us once. She also forgot to get us vinegar and it never showed up. She did come by once to check on us; but we had to go to another waitress to get the cheque and box as we waited at least ten minutes for her to come check on us again. We almost left when the food finally came as we had a 7pm leaving time. My 3 year old was starving and we had wanted to go water sliding at our hotel. We didn t finish up until almost 7:30 due to the amount of waiting and slow service. We almost always give a tip. We did not due to literally feeling like a complete afterthought. She was nice enough, not rude, but just literally the worst service I ve had in a long time. The other waitress at the end was lovely and helpful. The cookie was delicious and massive and helped our daughter be happy at the end as she really wanted to go back to the pool the whole time.
Had a separate area for my granddaughters birthday party. Food and service were great. The only problem was my youngest daughters hotdog was the last meal to come out of 16 meals. She was so hungry. I would think emphasis might be to bring childrens meals out first? Otherwise great experience and decor is fabulous. Two of us had steak. It was excellent
Fun diner worth the trip.
I am very impressed, the food was really good! The service was really good! The food came fast! Great hygiene, and the restaurant had a great atmosphere with the 50s style, I recommend!
Awesome old diner! So much to look at and old tunes to listen to. Great food, tasty drinks and awesome prices!
First time to this place or any of their counterparts... it was a very pleasant surprise! 50s decor with a caddy smack dab in the middle! Wow! Loved the uniforms and service was spot on! Too bad for OSHA, only thing missing was rollerskates haha. Food was good, good portions, lots of flavors and very well put together! Recommend
I forgot to take pictures, the food and service was great, I love their burgers and fries its the best place to eat.
Great food. Waitress was amazing. Great atmosphere and we loved the 50s rock n roll in the background.
Burger was unseasoned, bun was tough and had the consistency of cardboard, fries were about a 3/5 just slightly undercooked. Only thing that saved the meal was the coke. This place was good when they had one location because they could focus on food quality. Maybe it s time to think about going back down to one.
It was very busy when I went, so service wasnt suoer fast, but very friendly. Great venue if youre a carguy or cargal or love Ekvis and the 50s nostalgia, with music from the period. Lots to select from, but for me, perhaps a bit too many different toppings on the burger side of things for my taste. I opted for the basic burger and fries. It was great. Worth a try, and the price was super fait. Kid-friendliness: Tons of kids, from infants, to grown-ups!
Got seated before 5pm, took a while to read menus, and then got our order placed. The meatballs and spaghetti were fabulous. My wife had chicken strips and poutine. It was very yummy, too.
The food was pretty good and well priced, but bacon and potatoes were slightly undercooked. My daughters waffle was burnt on the bottom. Love the theme and atmosphere, but ya they need to step it up in the food department.
The food is alright. Each time I go I feel like Im going to be impressed. Lol but unfortunately not the case. My Reuben was soggy. But the waitress was great!
Great food and great service. I was their for lunch and had the grilled ham & cheese sandwich and salad. It was very good. And the waitress was very friendly.
Such a fun environment, the music and decor were on point and we had so much fun. Lunch was delicious. So excited to come back.
The atmosphere is so fun! The milkshakes are EPIC!
First time being there, cool atmosphere. Banana Cream Pie Milkshake was fantastic. Had a ceasar salad, which was okay. Hubby had a sandwich with the poutine (gravy was cold). We also had a little kiddo with us, would recommend having plastic/paper cups with lids for small kids -- it was messy. Hubby and my meal came to $70 with a 15% tip. :S Kid-friendliness: Very cool car to eat a meal in, if its not already occupied. Bring your own kid friendly cup if needed- they give a glass with a straw.
Atmosphere was great. Service was really slow. It took an hour to get our milkshakes so we didnt even bother ordering food because we okad somewhere to be within the next hour so we wouldnt have time to eat.
Went there last night, very understaffed. Food took over hour and 20 to get, the steak was very overcooked, would not recommend this place at all. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Nostalgic lives here, nice atmosphere. Food and atmosphere is cool but service has lots to be desired. Over 50 minutes for food - unacceptable.
Great place for a supper with family !
LOVE this place. Every time Im home in Saskatoon its a must visit. The atmosphere is amazing, the food is amazing, and the staff is amazing
It was great but they were out of a ton of food and condiments. It was very strange. Hashbrowns were out which was a side for everything and they were out lol.
Pink Cadillac made a traditional Christmas dinner for our company Christmas party. Was excellent!! They accommodated the vegetarians in our group. Food
I have to give this establishment a two star review. The food? Wouldnt know. The atmosphere? Looked fun... But wouldnt know. Received a call from the establishment in question 37 minutes before our reservation. I booked as I was visiting the city for a few days and sitting in the Cadillac car booth was all of our dreams. Unfortunately, the call was to tell us that they cannot seat us in the car booth because they booked someone else who wasnt leaving soon enough. I replied that this was ok and that I could come in at 6:30 instead of 6 with the 3 people I booked for. They said no sorry but thats not going to work. We have others at 7. I said But I felt . All we wanted was to sit in the car seat. Saskatoon has other restaurants. But tonight I think Ill just eat in my car.
A charming place with great food. A must-go if youre in Saskatoon
Service from waitress was very good - service from management was not good. One meal was good and one meal was not good and we were still charge full price.
Have had a great breakfast every time
They use to dress in a 50s style not now , food quality has went down and the service is very poor compared to a year ago .
The food is good but you definitely go for the atmosphere!
Large dining area and I get the decor is supposed to be diner-like. I found it to be too much. It was all very clean though and bright which was nice. Seating was not comfortable and our table was tippy - had to put some paper napkins under a leg to stop this. There was no overhead music playing so youre basically listening to everyones conversations. Made it sound loud in there with our kids who were loud. Staff werent very attentive - no offers for booster seats for the kids. We only got cutlery after our food was served and we asked for it. The food - only good thing was the large portions. Too large. Taste was zero in my opinion. I had the Mac and cheese with crispy chicken and bacon. The pasta was the blandest, salt less expression. Kraft dinner tastes better. The chicken was ok - my kid liked it but I didnt. Kid also got Mac and cheese and the portion was humongous. Didnt help that it was so hot it burned her mouth on first forkful. She was still able to enjoy it after tonsof mixingg and blowing. Overall, a very bland experience. Will not be back. Prices were not justifiable.
Food and service was good.
Always excellent food and a decor you wont find anywhere else. Love the Cadillac booth! Parking: Large parking lot next to restaurant.
Made a reservation today at 2:34pm for 730pm tonight. . went to go a great evening out . Get to the restaurant and there was no reservation for us. And they didnt even try to fix the situation. So I left the restaurant very discouraged. I will not return there ever again. But on a positive note I ended going to Mr.Ribs instead. Had the best meal in ages. I highly recommend Mr. Ribs over Pink Cadillac any day. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. At Mr. Ribs. . Pink Cadillac needs lessons on how to make a reservation.
Very disappointing place to eat. Took my daughter for a nice lunch, to have the worst lunch ever! It took over an hour to get our food, we had poutine which should take at most 15 minutes to cook. When we did get it, it was cold, and so salty we couldnt eat it! The waitress could obviously see we didnt eat it and didnt ask any questions as to why. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. McDonalds would have been a better choice!
First time at the 8th street location and it was fantastic! I had the Fonz Fishwich and it was very good. The food was hot, and this is worth a mention because I cant even remember the last time I received hot food in a restaurant! Our server was friendly and attentive as well. Will definitely be back!
Great food and price
Live music and good food topped with friendly service.
My family absolutely loves this place we eat here everytime we go to saskatoon. Expect yesterday ne and my husband officially have food poisoning. Thankfully our daughter doesnt. As my and my husband has the same thing !
Always a great place to go. The staff is great and the food is equally as great
Good bang for your buck for a simple breakfast. Service is on the slower side.
Very happy dining here. The food is awesome, amazing themed burgers and the milkshakes and deserts are excellent. The staff are very friendly and always smiling. Highly recommend checking it out. My daughter would also highly recommend as well.
Just called quickly asking about if they offer delivery as the Google listing here says touchless delivery. The lady that answered was extremely rude, and refused to let me speak to anyone else. I asked how to place an order for delivery and she snarkingly said ug the website and we dont deliver. I told her I was having trouble loading a menu via the website and she said uh you want me to like read you our menu?! I asked again if I could speak to someone else because she was being so arrogant and unhelpful. She refused. I was planning to eat there tonight... not now. If I were the owner of this location she would be on her last day.
Was ok but my friend found it too cold to enjoy the meal .
Love the 50 s theme breakfast plate was full, hot, and served with a smile!
Was a wonderful experience
Good 60s diner vibe and eats.
Great Service and Food ! Loved it . The Atmosphere was grrat and Grease playing was perfect
So, we have been here twice now. The first time we went we thought it was a pretty cool place. The service was excellent, the place is clean, and it just has neat stuff to look at. The food was good. We all had burgers the first time. The second time we went, the place was really noisy due to a bunch of kids from school or something, but no biggie. We ordered the platter for us all to share. Was very disappointed with it. You get a huge pile of fries in the middle, and like 3 -4 pieces of the other things you order with it, which sucked, cause there was 5 of us, so like 4 wings, 3 pickles, a few dry ribs. And it wasnt very appealing when it was placed in front of us. The service was excellent again. No complaints there, but we all left hu gry and unsatisfied.
My wife and I have been several times and have a dish that we enjoy. When it was giving to us last time it had almost just 1/2 of what they usually gave, and the fries it came with were around 0.5-1 inches long (Hashbrowns almost). We asked about the fries and the absence of food and they said they would get us new fries, and that some of the dish ran out of ingredients so they gave us more wings to compensate (There were actually less wings, so not true). Upon the second basket of fries arriving they were also all 0.5-1 inch long. Basically hashbrowns again. We paid and tipped, but will never be again. I would recommend only if your willing to risk your evening. But with kids when we go out I am willing to pay for a guarantee good experience, and this was not it.
Steak was cooked great
There was really nothing special about the food, the service was great though. Our waitress was super sweet.
Kid-friendliness: Jukebox magic! Food
A fun place to eat with good food and great service.
Had a rough night and needed to go out for a drink to get my mind off of things. The girl behind the bar was amazing and super helpful and funny and friendly. However, the other server whom was supposed to be helping her was not only super unfriendly/unhelpful, but also did not know how to properly make drinks and did not seem like she knew how to run drinks nor run food. I am also a server so I understand that things can get busy, however this girl just seemed generally unhelpful
I had the coupe Deville and my gf had the ham and cheese sandwich. The food was really good. The sauce on my burger was a little watery and not quite as much flavor as Id expect or was hoping for from that sauce either but it was still very good! She liked her sandwich and it was a good option for someone feeling a bit peckish or wants to keep the meal light. The salad was nice and fresh, The fries were nice and crispy! That atmosphere is why you really come to this place. My girlfriends mom is from out of town and was absolutely blown away by all the little knick knacks she loved it! We will most definitely be coming back whenever her parents visit us from now on Im sure!
We had a super sever, she went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. The food was fantastic. First time our friends ate there and they are definitely future customers. Rate 10 Star plus.
As always great food, great service. Have never been disappointed here!!
We have gone here multiple times and each time the food was incredible! The service is exceptional . The portions are great sizes. Highly recommended!!! Kid-friendliness: Adequate kids menu and a big cookie
I came here for a date and came back a few days later with my partners parents and really enjoyed the service and food both times
I love the retro vibes theme in this restaurant. I love the designs, displays and the interactive arcades. It feels like going back to year 70s. The food are great and I love their maltshakes! It s really great to have lunch with friends here.
The service is top notch, both times weve been there. Food is so good.
We had the best experience! Our server Amy was just the sweetest ! The back of house rocked out some pretty fantastic food as well !! Definitely a 10/10 experience! Kid-friendliness: My girls loved that the Flinstones were playing on the TV !
Was great! It was nice to have a waitress who is also Celiac that understood the lingo and was great at providing info and options. Also a great place to take my kiddos and not feel like a burden for being out with them
The prices on the website for specials are not honored. The atmosphere was good, there was alot of food. Service was quick. Its advertised on the website for 10.95 burger specials, and when asked because its advertised if they would honor it, they refused. Was offered a deal 19.95 build your own burger (4 toppings) which is more than any burger advertised and not special. They are unable to update their website. They should probably honor the advertised prices until they can make the update. Otherwise it was good. Gave us a free cookie for the toddler. Will probably keep going to fuddruckers down the road though. Just generally better food.
