Ricky's All Day Grill - Saskatoon in Saskatoon

Left relatively angry, service was horrible or just nonexistent, rushed to order because they were closing in an hour and then the waitress pretty much never returned, didn t start with water, didn t check in on us, despite being rushed to order we had to get someone else to get us the bill, I guess the closing time wasn t that important after all. Food was what I would expect of a buffet warming tray. I will not return.

The last time we went to Rickys, Ronna was not working, we sat in the lounge for 20 minutes and the staff did not acknowledge us. One of the servers walked through twice but did not approach us or speak to anyone. We were seated at a table, it should have been obvious we were there for lunch. The food has always been good but outside of when Ronna is working, the service is horrible.

Rickys is one of my go to breakfast spots for great service, quality food and excellent value.

We had fish and shrimp, Philly cheese steak, chicken B.L.T, bourbon BBQ burger, and wine braised beef short ribs. The tables were clean, and the service was okay. The food quality was just average. Had a better overall experience at the Regina location. Food

I had Rickys house Salad with grilled chicken. The bread was warm and fresh and chicken was grilled to perfection.

On a cool and grey day, the grilled cheese with bacon and tomato was the perfect meal ..one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches that I ve ever had .

Kim served our party of 4 and was attentive and accommodating. Fast service and good portions. We will be sure to return.

The food was very good. Had Bennys traditional and hash browns. Especially liked the hash browns! Hard to find a place that serves them anymore. The service was especially good. In town for a hockey tournament and wanted a good meal after travelling for a couple days and I have to say first the service is great was seated right away and the waitress is top shelf very friendly and professional the meal was delicious

Although its a bit dark in there, the service was so quick with many coffee refills and other drinks as we wanted them. The food was good, good portion sizes. We went in the daytime and the waitress was very helpful with different people who had mobility issues, helping them find the best spot. Well go again!

Today my sil and I went for breakfast this morning, found a hair in my pancake , told them they wanted to make a new one, lost my appetite so i said no. My sil and I laughed but not even 5 minutes later she found a hair in her stuffed hash browns , they wanted to remake it we said no. Manager came said would give us a discount. And she hinted that we did it, cause the kitchen staff didnt have long hair but the hair was cooked in the food. They wanted to charge us for our food and I would not pay for it. We will not be going back.

Have been coming here for years, and it has been consistently good - food is good and waitstaff are attentive. Good to have a place like this as our go-to.

Really quite clean and well maintained. But it was the melancholy atmosphere in the VLT lounge that Im going to hold on to above all else. Parking: Its a parking lot.

Honestly, its a bit of a hidden gem in the city. Its easy to pass by on the street, but its worth a visit. Theres lots of tables, so seating isnt an issue. The breakfast was very good, and my father had the same opinion on his lunch

We had a wonderful breakfast meal at Rickis Good Friday about 20:30am. The place was hopping busy. We were seated promptly and our server...sorry I forgot his name. He was super attentive and helpful. He always kept our coffee cup full. Which was BTW.....very good. Our Eggs Benny were delivered hot and delicious. I loved how well my potched eggs were done and the hollandaise sauce was amazing. We will return to this restaurant again!

Staff are friendly, food is good. Good place to play vlts as well. The only negative thing I experienced is that sometimes the lounge staff are also working in the restaurant and the bar is unattended for significant periods of time, so you may find yourself waiting a while for a drink or to cash in a vlt ticket. But great place overall

We had such an amazing waitress. She had told us she has only been there for a shot time. She was patient, friendly and a great sense of humor. There was 5 of us and no complaints about the meals. Definitely will be back.

Upon arriving I waited at the front for a few minutes. Nobody around and then spotted through the kitchen by a server that came out to me finally greet me. He actually didnt really greet me. He just stood there until I said just for one please. There was one other table there that seemed to be at the tail end of their visit. After I ordered the food took a little longer than I expected, especially being the only table in there and when the food came out, I ordered to Benedict, the hash browns were a little bit cold. Slightly warm in the middle. The English muffins didnt really seem toasted as specified on the menu and the avocado that was spread on it look like it was at least a day old and starting to brown. The eggs were the warmest thing on the plate. But that being said, I asked for them to be cooked medium and they were still very soft. It looked like a manager was making her rounds as well. It seemed as if maybe she took that first table as she was checking up on them but never came by to me at all. I did not get a spot check from my server to even let them know that my food really wasnt that warm at all. I was just asked after I ate if there was anything else. On top of all that I feel the prices of have gone up way too much compared to the value youre getting

Food is great, love coming here for eggs Benedict. Came here today with my gf, took 15 minutes to have our drink order taken, and after 30 minutes with no food order taken we were then straight up ignored by the waitress as she walked by us to serve the table behind us that showed up 20 minutes after us. We left immediately.

We waited 30 minutes and had to flag down three different people just to get service. The woman who was supposed to take our order straight up ignored us when we tried to talk to her and just went to serve the table behind us who arrived AFTER us.

Great service and huge portions. We went for breakfast and the plates of food that we got were enough to feed 4 people{ there was only 2 of us) reasonably priced and great tasting food. Such a great breakfast option. Make sure youre hungry when you go!

My favorite place for Sunday Breakfast. The food is always good and made quickly, the atmosphere is calm and relaxed, and the nicest, kindest server EVER (Olek, from the Ukraine) works there. Dear management - give Olek a raise... he deserves it!

It took 40 minutes for our meal , the hostess was forgetting our drink orders and it wasnt busy but still the service was very slow , very disappointed all the other times they were on spot

Large portions. Kids menu that they can pick out a prize after. Our server was great with the kids. Only thing was the automatic 15% added to our bill because we had more than 8 people. Understandable though.

Wonderful servers, food which was hot and exactly as we order, great experience. Next time we come here from BC to visit family will definitely eat here again!

10/10 Took my daughter on a lunch date and while driving past we thought we should try it out, no regrets here!! The place was extremely clean, (drinking glasses were crystal clear) the service was A++ and food was fresh and delicious. First off the waitress Jennifer was the sweetest server ever! She was so polite and checked on us the perfect amount of times, we had the crispy chicken sandwiches and oh my goodness, the best chicken I have ever eaten! Caesar salad was top notch as well. Oh and the bathrooms were super clean!! We will definitely be going back again very soon, very glad to stumble across the gem!!

A pretty good restaurant connected to the Quality Inn. I had the fish and chips. It was cooked well and tasted good. I had a side of gravy with it as well. The gravy tasted good but was a little lumpy. For dessert, I had the sticky toffee cake with ice cream. It was ok. I have had better. It would have tasted better, I think, if it had been warmed before presenting. The service was really good.

Waitress and food were fantastic as usual. She saw us coming from the parking lot and had already prepped a table for us and our 1 year old in our usual spot. Towards the end of our meal, someone who I assume was likely a manager passive aggressively states wow what a mess for mom and dad to clean up. Granted, our son who has been on earth for just over a year doesnt have the greatest table etiquette (clearly very behind in his development, were working on it)... She then comes back whilst our son is still eating with a bowl and two small napkins and asks us to wipe the floor so no one slips. Honestly, if someone slipped on food that close to our table then they were clearly planning to walk right through us and our son. So Im pretty sure the food on the ground would have been considered self defense more than a hazard. I get health and safety etc. but anyone walking that close to our table is way too close, even for pre covid standards. Our nice waitress then comes back and tells us not to worry about it. We obviously dont want her to get into any trouble so we ask for a broom and spend the last few minutes of our meal cleaning the floor. Long story short, I think Im now employed there as a cleaner? What a weird day...

This place never disappoints. We started coming 4 years ago but took a break during the pandemic. Visited today and it was the same great service and food. Fantastic dining experience with kids - food came quick to the table (kids meals came out first), activities (colouring and board game) to keep our preschooler busy and a nut/gluten free treat with the bill.

We like to go here a few times a year. Food is usually really good. Today the food flavor was great......but it all came out cold. It wasnt busy. I came with all my kids as being a holiday its a good chance for us to get together since all my adult kids and I are usually working. We were seated, got dinner menus and water. We asked for coffee, but were either ignored, or waitress just didnt hear. After a very long time waitress came back and we got breakfast menus, since that was our original goal. I ordered the appy hour shrimp and they were perfect!!! The 4 homemade chicken finger appy was also perfect! Unfortunately it took a very long time for our food to come out. 2 plates at a time(5 of us) My eggs Benny was ice cold. I also asked for the hash browns to be extra cooked and they were white... My son and daughter both got cold waffles, the butter on top just sat there. My daughter never complains, ever, but today she did. My other daughters poutine was hot, but I assume only from the gravy added. I ate what I could of my meal, but cold eggs Benny is very unappetizing and the rest sat. I took it home to my dog. I expressed my absolute disappointment to the waitress when she returned eventually. She apologized and offered to have it changed (I dont remember if heated up or new plate) either way, Im not waiting longer, Im not sending food back as I dont trust kitchens that have messed up. Later the waitress offered me a dessert, I barely had a lunch, and am now turned off, so my appetite was gone. Meals at Rickis now are $20 each. Our bill was $120 for 5 of us. Im happy to pay for a good meal. I paid but was very unhappy. We ate, we laughed, and we spent time together. Just wish the food was what we expect from this restaurant. Not sure we will return. We live 5 minutes away, but we now think its time to explore other options.

This is our go to place for breakfast. We used to live on the west side, and even now when we live on the east side of the city we generally make the trek to come to rickys for breakfast.

Let me start off by saying Ive eaten at other Rickys before and they were good. This was my first time at this location (attached to Quality Inn), the server was great. She kept topping my coffer and asking if I needed anything. The reason for my low rating was the food itself. I ordered the two by five, eggs were lukewarm along with the sausage and bacon. Breakfast didnt taste fresh. Maybe this was an off day for them but I did not enjoy this breakfast.

I had some waffles. They were good. I didnt get covid. I went home.

Rickys All Day Grill once again Ignored me once again. went in on Sunday the 10th. At before 3 pm. And again once Ignored. Tall thin guy with a beard at the back and waitress at the back and I saw them and they saw me and did not bother me. I was going to give them another chance and this was going to be a large order. Over $100.00 Wont bother with them anymore. This is how they treat customers. How do they make money when they deal with this problem. Wont bother with Rickys again and the Manager & Owner when they are to be rude towards customers. My opinion the owner should fire some staff who are and behave like this towards customers.

My meal was exactly what I ordered it was more than I could eat we sat there for quite a while having coffee And the service was great

Honestly the worst service ever from the manager. Members of the table were discriminated by manager, rude arguing with us. We followed rules of not leaving table for a smoke with minimal of two people. And they still felt the need to tell us that we had to pay our bill before anyone of us left for a smoke, even when members of the party were still at table. When we brought it up as why this was happening when we were not in the wrong at all our table was ask to leave even tho we still had food on our plates. Honestly just go to dennys this place is trash

We go specifically for the Bennys you can get. Always yummy. Restaurant wasnt full but did have a huge table (20 ppl). Wait staff was at a run and apologized even tho things were moving at a good pace. Maybe a few minutes longer of a wait than normal but I didnt think it was noticeable. All and all a good yummy breakfast. Thanks Rickys!!

Everything comes out of a bag. But assembled and tasting good be careful with allergies, tye kitchen changes things up and made us very sick.

Definitely recommend this place. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chorizo and my husband had the California burger and soup. I was a little worried about the price but you definitely get your monies worth. Its not overpriced by any means, we just expect the portion size to match the price, which this did.The portions were huge! Food was hot and so delicious. There was maybe 3 other tables in at that time. No issues with our server :)

Myself, a persons with a physical disability as well as three individuals with intellectual disabilities and obvious physical limitations were just denied service by your host/wait staff for wanting to dine in for coffee and breakfast. We were told by whoever your waitstaff was that it s a mandatory $5 per person to sit for coffee. I understand it is a busy day for dine in breakfast goers but I couldn t help but feel discriminated for not looking the part. You have lost four paying customers. The year is 2022 and this is how the four of us were treated? Do better.

My wife and I decided to try Rickys for the first time. What a great experience! The service was excellent. The food wasnt fancy, but it was super delicious and the portions were large. No problem getting extra napkins and refills. We will eat there many more times!

My father and I were just at Rickys for a late breakfast and were very unimpressed with the service. Food was good but our waitress was very unattentive, we had coffe and only one refill, never once asked how things were, no water refill, and nothing for toast. Ive been coming here regularly for years and this is the first bad experience Ive had. Ill give them one more chance, then youre losing my business.

Stopped there for supper Dec 9th. Ordered Fish and Chips. I have to say this was the most disgusting excuse for Fish and Chips I have seen in my 64years, there was mosly batter which was basically a grease sponge , I peeled it all off and left it on the plate. I was left with maybe 3 oz of tasteless grey looking stuff (the fish) and a pile of fries and some gross over creamy coleslaw. All in all one of the most unappetizing meals I have ever had the misfortune to have placed in front of me. Will never return,too many other good retaurants in the city!
