I ordered spinach goat cheese salad with calamari, but calamari was too oily. I couldnt eat it. I ordered shrimps but again didnt meet my expectations, I should have ordered spaghetti since its a spaghetti factory

First time to dine here with my family. We were accommodated even though we didn t have a reservation and it s on a weekend! Great food and service! And my kids loves the ambiance!

Frozen lasagna my booty, seems like some people are impossible to please its delightful and clearly fresh.

Parking was a nightmare, our salads were served with rotten lettuce and hair!, service was slow, small portions, and even with the hair and rotto lettuce we had to pay full price, they could have comped the drinks or something. NEVER EAT HERE!

I used to have a reoccurring nightmare that the train car pulled away while I was dining there. It still trips me out years later. Its actually my favourite restaurant now that its a pasta place. Its a very comfortable atmosphere with excellent food. Cute servers too.

Took my mother here for her birthday, I rated 3 stars because its a good, normal, American restaurant chain.... The food was good, the service was good,. The building its located in is a Saskatoon landmark... Ive eaten in the building a couple of times, never got to sit in one of the old rail cars.. I guess you have to reserve ahead or have vip status or something

We ate in the rail car facing the main street. Had 5 older ladies behind us when we sat down. We were almost done our entrees when they left. Very very boisterous and loud. My ears were ringing after they left. Food was ok. Service ok. Just seats in the rail cars are not comfortable on the legs and no place for noise to escape.

Excellent food and great atmosphere. We ordered to pick up most recently and it was complete exactly on time and packaged so that it both traveled well and was easy to enjoy at our hotel room. Always a favourite when we are in Saskatoon!!

For $20 & some change to have a starter such as soup or salad before your choice of pasta and a dessert of Spumoni (gelato) to top it off is fine by me and money well spent. We average $120.00 a visit for our family of four after drinks (non-alcoholic, we dont drink) and upcharged soups or salads, which are usually clam chowder or caesar salad. Have dined here since it has opened. Spaghetti Carbonara was a delicious go-to but has since been pulled from the menu. Any Alfredo dish is tasty. The Tortellini or Ravioli dishes are perfect! I cant forget to mention that bread and butter are on demand and usually the first thing on your table when met by your server. The atmosphere is wonderful in the summer evenings if you like the sun. The view from the cars is great in the winter as the lights of the city glow on Idywyld drive. My current favorite is the Mushroom Spaghetti Alfredo with added shrimp. Is it good? Fuggedaboutit...

Great place for a family meal.

Spaghetti factory offers great value for money. It s one of few restaurants you can go and have a good meal as a family of 6 for less than 200. However this location lacks in service. Very slow. And even on a busy night half the tables are empty. And still extremely slow. Management needs to figure something out. It s holding this location back.

We sat in the train car which the kids always enjoy I Ordered french onion soup, and its the best Ive had in Saskatoon, made just right. Bread is tastier than wat they have at olive garden. Spaghetti with meatballs were good portion. Decaf was not that bad as Ive had at other places.

Went there for my Mother s Day meal.. They were handing out roses to every woman.. and I did not receive a rose. I am still heartbroken about that. But overall. Great restaurant!

Food is a little plain, but you get a lot for what you pay. Very good bang for buck, everything is nice and clean.

Made a reservation for my sisters birthday yesterday first time at the Spaghetti Factory in Saskatoon. It was excellent The cranberry spinach goat cheese salad with honey Dijon dressing was so tasty same thing with the mushroom alfredo pasta and everythings included even coffee or tea I had to pay extra to switch out the regular salad for the spinach salad but it wasnt that much and definitely worth it and being in the train car was so nice because it was comfortable temperature in there not like all the restaurants in Saskatoon the minute May hits they cranked their air conditioning on and you have to go to a restaurant dress like youre going out into a snowstorm which is really irritating especially after waiting all winter for nice whether you go to these restaurants and you freeze and the foods cold. I will definitely be going there again and our waiter was excellent very good customer service.

We arrived at 7:02 we got seated, then waited another hour before we ordered and seeing our waitress busy getting other tables ready was a tad to long for us to get our drinks it was busy. We enjoyed the bread and butter while we waited and finally when we are it was worth it every bit of the food we ordered was delicious and we keep going back... Parking: Parking is located behind the restaurant and getting out is easy.

This is our go-to place for family get togethers with kids. Amazing value with a soup or salad with every entree, plus bread on the table and ice cream for dessert. My favorites are the French Onion Soup and Clam Linguine. Friendly staff, consistent food. Just overall a great family restaurant especially if youre on a budget!

The food was really poor, it was over cooked dry. I really didnt think that a place with Spaghetti in the name could mess up Spaghetti. The staff were super nice and customer service was good, but they were obviously overworked as there were dirty, empty tables yet there were customers turned away at the door. We are from out of town and were so looking forward to the experience and were sorely disappointed.

Delicious spaghetti and meat sauce for a decent price!

Such a cool restaurant! We got to sit in an old train car! Our server was to friendly and funny and good with the kids! We had 5 kids with us, ranging from 3-10 years and he had all of them laughing, including us adults! He did a great job! We would go back just to have him serve us again! Food was ok for the price but really under seasoned. There were only 2 tables of people in our section but our server was very slow. Never asked how the meal was and made a mistake on our bill. I think they could certainly use a bit of training for their staff

Very good spot with very reasonable prices. The building itself is very nice with a lot of local history. The food was absolutely amazing. Staff are very friendly as well. We had two drinks, two appetizers and three dinners, all for under $100. Not sure where else you would find that kind of value these days. Highly recommend the chicken parm!

Went there with 3 others , the food was good had French onion soup to start and spagetti with meat sauce . My daughter had the creamy chicken pasta dish . I had a bite very tasty . I will order that next time . Our server was really good , very friendly and gave us wonderful service . We had a good meal and the prices are reasonable . Considering the cost of everything that has risen this is a good choice for nice in expensive dining experience.

It is an incredible place to visit, the food is exquisite. My recommendation is to try the Mojitos because they are the best place in all of Saskatoon to prepare them. The attention is very good.

She was extremely Good at her job. we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the service, the only reason I gave the atmosphere for is because it was chilly in there. The soup was great. The bread was great the ice cream, definitely try it. The amount of ice cream was perfect after a large meal. I had the ravioli with mushrooms and cheese, the soup, the side of broccoli, all were so good I even ordered a cheesecake - Of course I took half of My meal and And the cheesecake home. I cannot commend the Old Spaghetti Factory staff enough! Recently we traveled to Saskatoon for a soccer tournament. Meals as a team are always a daunting task! Esteban was amazing to deal with. We preordered everything and it was the best team dinner we have ever experienced! The food was perfect! Serced quickly, accurately and hot! Jules was our waitress. She was quick, patient and on top of every detail. If you need to book a team dinner or a large group of any kind.....this is the place! Very well done!

Moved from Ontario a week ago. Thought I would never see another Old Spaghetti Factory again. But my wife found this location on Google maps and came. I was actually better than the one in Toronto which shocked even me. I was so impressed with the food and service. The place was perfect and spotless. Cant wait to return to The Old Spaghetti Factory.

Wonderful place to eat, food is always delicious, an absolute favourite, friendly servers, a unique environment, nothing else like it in Saskatoon!! The sourdough bread and garlic butter to start is fantastic! The entrees include soup or salad to start, coffee or tea and spumoni ice cream!!!!!! Amazing value !!!! Ok everyone! I love pasta and my favorite pasta is Lasagna. The portion was decent, not by any means Taverna portion(which is nice). The Lasagna wasnt the worst Ive tasted, but I would say middle road to me. It wasnt bloody fantastic like Tavernas (and no Im not being sponsored by them or have any relationship to the restaurant. Its just the standard I hold all Lasagna to) However, there was a dish on the menu that my family chose to order on another occasion and they were out of it. I think it was steak. Anyways, overall their food is very good, portions are small to average. Service was great!

The 18% auto gratuity was a bit of a surprise and I wouldn t have minded it if we actually had good service. Maybe an off day

Hockey team meal with 50 people came in on a Saturday. We were able to pre-order, everything ran very smoothly. We were in and out with lots of time. The food was fantastic, but there was one minor glitch. The manager and our server Kiarra, dealt with it immediately and solved the issue with amazing service. Would highly recommend this restaurant for families or team events.

The experience was best described as awkward. There were simple mistakes that happen, however, more training is needed on how to navigate those conversations. My wifes meal was incorrect, she politely let them know. The food runner followed by the server both argued the point. The food runner did not take the order nor were they present when it was taken... so not sure why the push back. Then the server came out and said that she has placed the revised order and tried to play off the issue in that people sometimes say the wrong thing when they order. She had ordered an Alfredo dish, I thought it odd as she rarely consumes dairy... apparently the mind readers thought that she really wanted a marinara on her pasta. After the awkwardness, we were completely ignored until the bill arrived; no drinks or refills, no table touches, no how is your meal... I dont get to Saskatoon often but I will certainly be looking into their local restaurant scene on my next visit. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free menu

Absolutely loved the old spaghetti factory! Grew up going to the one in Winnipeg and this one did not disappoint! Will be back!

My sister and I had dinner there last night, and everything was so delicious, we had very friendly and attentive service... it was a wonderful evening.

We were recently here and I was very disappointed. I would like to start with saying our server Gracie was AMAZING. Very professional, attentive an knew what she was doing. Unfortunately I dont spend $100+ on a family meal to see the servers. The food just was not great with mine coming out cold, it was obviously pre-made and frozen as it was ice cold in the center. With the cost Id expect fresh food. Ive had better frozen prepackaged pastas from Walmart. We wont be back, our city has better food to offer. Eta for their response: No, I wont be reaching out to give you my contact information. I dont believe that this was not normal standard from you guys, as there are many reviews stating cold food. There is a difference between something that sat for a little to long and a frozen meal. No thank you friend.

The armosphere is amazing! I am glad they kept the decor from the station place, but...my pasta was undercooked and the chicken was dry. The service was good; however, the server brought me a double when I asked for a single.

Took our Hockey team while in Saskatoon for a tournament, friendly staff, amazing service and great food.

It took about 45 minutes to receive our food after we ordered and all my family had was a salad, chicken strips/ fries and two orders of tortellini. The waitress didnt bring any water refills or check in on us till we were almost ready to pay our bill and done eating. Would have been 4 stars otherwise...

1st time visitor.. The service by far was more than stellar. If I could give it 10 stars I would. The young guy that served was great. We were there celebrating a birthday, and he was very patient as we waited for 1 guest to show up. He took the birthday cake we brought (yes we did share it with him). I gave 4 stars for the food only because I feel that there could have been more given for spending $18. But overall there was no flaw with the food!!! I would definitely come back!!

The waitress sat us and kind of forgot about us. We werent given any bread and she never came by to get our drink order until about 20 minutes after we sat down and I had waved a different waitress over. We were a party of 6 and she gave us one loaf of bread and that was it for the whole night. It appears that they only have one cheese grater, so when you get your food, you have to wait around for quite a while for your waitress to get their turn with the cheese grater.

Large amount of food for a great price. I had the chicken penne and it was tasty. We had muscles to start and they were a great size starter for the two of us with the bread. The service was great from the moment we walked in the door. Hailie was our server, she was prompt, attentive, polite and professional. Thank you!
