Sashimi, nigiri & sushi rolls, plus tempura & other Japanese staples in informal surrounds.
It's amazing how anyone in Saskatoon could give this restaurant anything less than a 5 star review. If you have been to a highly rated sushi establishment on any coast, sushi raku blows them out of the water. Anytime we have friends or family in town, we take them here and it changes their perspective on Saskatchewan immediately. I truly hope Sushi Raku becomes a staple of the Saskatoon food scene for everyone...I'll happily wait in line.
We went to try out the new menu, but we're disappointed in the taste and value of our meal. We tried the new tofu kimchi dish, and it was $15 for a small portion of tofu with kimchi. The Tuna Tataki roll promised spicy ponzu sauce, but tasted like Franks hot sauce (vinegar-sour, spicy and almost bitter). We told the waitress, and she told me this is how the dish is supposed to be. Would not recommend.
We visited sushi raku on a recent trip to Saskatoon. The service was good and very quick. The sushi tasted ok, it didn’t taste the freshest. The Oshi rolls were our favourite but could be improved with more charring and a fresh jalapeño. The restaurant itself is a little dark and humid. If you are in Saskatoon and craving sushi we’d recommend this spot but wouldn’t make a special trip for it.
food was good. soft shell crab sushi roll is not bad, but the inside crab is really small when we eat feel like I didn't eat any crab.. sashimi, raw beef are good. can tell are fresh. shrimp nigiri sushi rice is a bit hard. but shrimp is good!
Absolutely lovely staff across the whole restaurant. Some of the best sushi of my life. It's definitely a must if in saskatoon and looking for a nice place to have a fantastic experience!!
A friend suggested Sushi Raku to me. Being from Vancouver, I'm a big sushi fan, so I had to try it out! I ordered a few different rolls, Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, and to finish it off... mango tempura ice cream! Food was excellent! Friendly service and nice ambiance! I'm always hesitant to try sushi in the prairies, however, this place got it right! Will absolutely be returning!
Excellent sushi! Super fast service as well :) Had another amazing dinner there last night! Lovely staff and delicious food ☺️
This is the fastest service we've ever received at a restaurant! It's got cute decor and the staff are super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The fryer is not gluten free but they do have gluten free soy sauce! They do have a separate gluten free menu. Simply ask and they'll bring it to you. We had the salmon sashimi, salmon cones, salmon and avocado roll, and salmon and avocado roll with spicy mayo. Delicious! Highly recommend.
Delicious food, nice staff and a cute environment. Get the deep fried ice cream- you wont regret it
From someone who lives on the Coast of BC and has sushi 3+ times a week, I can truthfully say Raku is the best sushi I ve EVER had. I am very picky about my raw fish and they have never disappointed me. Highly recommended.
The food here is amazing
Great food, very fresh sushi and nigiri with pleasant and attentive service. Top Japanese restaurant in Saskatoon.
Always the best
Good food if you like sushi even some non sushi items
The food was excellent, and portions were decent. The takoyaki was delicious and very well plated. The tuna and salmon sashimi were the best Ive had in the city. Easy to find parking as well, free parking after 6 right beside the restaurant. The only issue is the dining room is a little small (not much privacy) and a server started playing music off of a tiny Bluetooth speaker, which was detrimental to the atmosphere. A little more expensive than AYCE but you get what you pay for in quality.
In my opinion, this is the best sushi stop in Saskatoon. Menu is rich in options for Japanese kitchen. We typically go for Special sushi and never got disappointed. This time we tried Takoyaki for an appetizer and it was excellent. Staff has always been friendly. Nice to have a pation for an option. Whenever feeling like sushi, never think twice. This is the place to go!
Service was great .. they do they one dish they lite on fire at the table and the entire restaurant smells after. Very expensive Sushi I might add
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu available Food
Amazing place and the food was out of this world.
Grabbed a quick late night to go meal for our drive home the sushi was fresh and tasty was not thrilled with the prices but always tend to find its a bit steep for sushi pricing. I would order again
What a great meal! I was very pleased with the service and prices! The 2 different kinds of sushi I had were excellent! Parking: About 20 spots, but paid parking only until 18:00 hrs Mon-Fri. We parked on the street to the west and walked through the parking lot.
Add a number of roles, sashimi, and ramen. Prompt, courteous, and extremely friendly service. As a visitor from Vancouver I have to say the sushi was absolutely fresh and delicious
Tasty sushi with a good variety to choose from.
Food is good, fresh but nothing s really outstanding for the price. We were charged with 18% tips for group of more than 7 people. Tips should be an optional or you can charge a certain amount like $20 and then we can tip on top on the bill as a gratitude. Not coming back again.
Great place, very fast service, staff is very accommodating for my partners celiac needs with a dedicated gluten free menu. Dietary restrictions: Dedicated gluten free menu, staff is accommodating to ensure no cross contamination.
Authentic, delicious and nice atmosphere.
Great food and even better service, a little pricey but not much to complain about. Definitely worth checking out
Get the bento
I ordered the salmon combo and extra salmon nigiri. I ve eaten sushi everywhere in Saskatoon this is the best I ve ever had. It is sooo good I am going to order again and try something else. The wasabi tasted like real wasabi not the horseradish stuff.
Little pricey but it s so worth it!! I don t like trying new things and I can be super picky but everything was nothing short of incredible! Amazing place to come sit and hang out and eat amazing food!!
We got braised pork, lobster roll, Bbq tuna roll, inari nigiris and deep fried ice cream! Thanks Raku!!! Food was delicious! Great service! Great atmosphere!
This is our go to Sushi place , went tonight and ordered our usual rolls(night hunter, BBQ spicy tuna) they changed the spicy sauce. Its so hot you cant taste anything. Wont be back
Small portions, priced more than others, and everything is made too spicy. My rolls were supposed to be mild but were so spicy hot that I only ate a few pieces of my rolls. Noodles were on fire spicy and we couldnt eat those either. I should have known it was going to be too hot when they put 2 pitchers of water in the table before we even got our food. Servers were friendly.
terrible experience, waitress slow, food wasn t even warm. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I had the best dinner tonight. Good atmosphere, Perfect service, Delicious food! The best restaurant in Saskatoon! Highly recommend. I definitely come back.
DO NOT ORDER FROM SHISHI RAKU IF YOU ARE ALEGRIC TO FISH OR A VEGETARIAN. I recently ordered a veggie tempura roll from here and it happened to have shrimp in it. My girlfriend is a vegetarian and now knows that shes allergic to shrimp. I called to complain and inform them that there was shrimp in the vegetarian roll. Their response was that we shouldve informed them she is allergic to fish. They then said the use the same oil for vegetarian and non vegetarian tempura. Im probably coming off as Karen but this is unacceptable.
It is one of the better places to go for sushi. And a variety of other Japanese foods. I had one of the Bento dishes and had more than enough for lunch.
Best sushi in town. Raku orange, tuna tataki, from special rolls: Raku special, las Vegas, all are amazing! Fresh and beautiful presentation
Sushi Raku is a hidden gem in Saskatoon that has quickly become one of my favorite sushi spots in the city. Not only is their sushi incredibly fresh and delicious, but the service and vibes from the employees truly set this place apart. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff at Sushi Raku go above and beyond to make sure you have a memorable dining experience. They are attentive, friendly, and always willing to offer recommendations or customize your order to your liking. The ambiance at Sushi Raku is also worth mentioning. The cozy yet modern decor creates a relaxing and enjoyable dining environment. Whether youre dining in for a quick lunch or a special dinner with friends, the positive energy from the employees adds to the overall experience. Overall, Sushi Raku is a must-visit for any sushi lover in Saskatoon. With exceptional service and great vibes from the employees, youll leave feeling satisfied and eager to return for more.
This is a great spot for any occasion. Its the ideal place for ordering a bunch of sushi combos for a tonne of people. Its less expensive if you pick it up, but in general, the price to quality ratio is perfect. For something different, we tried the Orange Combo. Its like a poke bowl but in a hollowed out orange and served with a spicy roll. It was a standout dish for sure.
Perfect
The server was exceptionally polite and the food was amazing! We had the dynamite roll, tako yaki, gyoza, vegetable tempura, and spicy dragon roll. And the blueberry Soju was really good! Highly recommend this place for your sushi needs!
Delicious, beautiful dishes & friendly, helpful service! Thank you again
So many options, delicious food and very polite staff. Definitely will be back.
Rolls to big to eat in 1 bit or pick up with chop sticks. Sashimi way to big. But all fresh and tasty great presentation.
Affordable sushi and the tast was great as well! The place can get a little busy from time to time though
Always a great experience and walk out full!
I got a spicy tuna roll and a spicy salmon roll. The salmon roll was very good but the tuna roll was delicious. Next time I m going to try one of their seared tuna rolls. Would recommend if you re looking for a light lunch downtown.
Amazing staff and the most incredible sushi served up fast, even on a busy night!
Geat food and friendly staff! Very accomodating
Sushi bridge is great and good portion for 1-2 person, sashimi is fresh and taste good
Best Japanese food Ive tasted in the city. Amazingly quick service.
Overall pretty good.
Went for dinner with a group of friends. I believe this is the best sushi Ive had in town and not overly expensive. Parking: A big parking lot right next to it. Didnt pay anything, but it was 6 in the evening. Dunno if its the same during the day
Courteous and peronable service. Incredible food. Fair pricepoint compared to sushi restaurants of its caliber in other cities. Food : 5/5
Amazing Japanese food. Service was excellent!
Ordered the toro nigiri sushi (tuna meat near the belly) only place in saskatoon that you can get it and it was absolutely delicious and very generous with portions Id recommend that to anyone that loves nigiri sushi
We used to love this place. My family had Sushi Raku once or twice a week, every week. The staff greeted us by name when we d pick up our food and we always knew we were in for a treat. Unfortunately those staff members all seem to have changed and so has the quality. We had noticed a decline in the quality of the Sushi for some time now, but the odd time it was still good kept us coming back. This past weekend we were running errands downtown and wanted a snack. I ordered us each a Dynamite roll and we waited in the car for them to be ready. They told me 15 minutes but I went back in 13 minutes and my order was already ready. We ate right in the car in the parking lot. Our rolls should have had a nice crisp tempura shrimp running through them. Nope. Soggy cold tempura batter on Shrimp that had been cooked some time ago. It was not good. It might as well have been next day Gas station sushi. The seaweed wrap was tough and chewy. We all burped up whatever we had just eaten for the next several hours. I don t know why they would serve that to anyone. I m pretty sure they ve lost us as customers for good this time.
Sushi and udon soup were both excellent!
Best sushi experience we have had in saskatoon. The soft shell crab roll, spicy tuna roll, and the unagi are PHENOMENAL. Update: still the best in 2024!!
I visited there a week ago with my family. The food there is not bad, but the service is pretty slow and we did not have water provided before placing the order. One more thing is that we were arranged in the middle position. The dining environment was very cramped and the table and stools were very small. Overall, the experience I had there was not very good, anyway I still gave them 20 percent tips. Parking: Easy to access the parking lot.
This place was hands down the best Japanese restaurant in Saskatoon. 10/10 would recommend. Great if you don t like big places
Came here tonight for supper, service and food was amazing, however felt bad for the serving staff as there was a family with a small child running around constantly, disrupting people eating, standing on clean tables, etc. The servers were worried for the safety of the child, and when vocalized that to the family politely multiple times to please keep the child contained, the dad got extremely aggressive screaming in the servers face. They handled it so politely and with so much grace. We will definitely be back!
Best Sushi spot in stoon by a mile. Not even close! Little bit on the pricy side but worth it everytime.
A nice resturant if youre by downtown and feeling up to sushi! The employees were so nice, the food is great. My only small complain is I wish there were pictures to match the menu
One of my favorites. What a gem with unique versions of classics, and nice items of their own. Particularly like their Tuna Tatake!
We might have visited Sushi Raku on an off night but this was my third time giving this restaurant a chance and Im not sure Ill be coming back. Service was slow, and while it was evident a new server was being trained, and the host was doing her best to assist, it took nearly 15 minutes to be acknowledged at our table while two other people who were seated after us (and we had a reservation) had their orders taken. Mistakes happen but this set the tone for the rest of our experience. A sushi restaurant running out of rice during a supper service is also concerning. The food was served nicely but lacked flavour. The miso soup was from a packet and had been prepared with chicken stock making it thin, hiding the miso flavor, and decidedly not vegetarian, which was off putting. The space is far too open with tables all bordering one shared area. The restaurant has a layout very similar to the (now gone) Otowa on 2nd Ave and might want to invest in enclosed booths or something like that one did to divide diners as it is a loud restaurant and not ideal for an intimate meal. Overall, there are much better Japanese restaurants in Saskatoon with tastier food, nicer decor, and better experiences to be had than here. I wish Sushi Raku luck but I feel changes should be made to elevate this restaurant.
Good lunch special with nigiri and a California roll. Not the best sushi I ve had but it gets the job done and has decent prices. Only parking I found was paid which is annoying.
Expensive
I bought ramen and it was 18 dollars even tho it wasn t that big of a bowl
Absolutely wonderful every time we visit! This is my must stop in Saskatoon!
All around great experience. My favorite sushi place in town by far! Staff is very pleasant!
This is by far the most authentic Japanese in the city. Excellent whether you order sushi, sashimi, or one of the other dishes. Kid-friendliness: They were really patient with our daughter.
The food was amazing. Price was good for the quality of the food offered.
The best Japanese food in Saskatoon. I have heat this place many tines fron friends, somehow I have not visit yet until today I get into the hidden spot taste a bit. We have ordered the Omakase (chefs choice) Sashimi, it is included 10 kinds of sashimi for couple pieces. This is the most impresive for us. Saskatoon can make this great taste and delicated sashimi plate. We both have our own donburi (stuff on the top of rice bowl). Mine is Salmon Ikura(salmon eggs) Donburi, one of my favourite. I wish next time i can try the Uni Don ( Sea urchin) I have ordered Negi Hamachi (yellow tail fish green onuons) Maki (Roll). I love the fatty and smooth texture in mouth. It is not comment on Saskatoon Japanese restaurants serve Hamachi. Well, if you are near by this spot in downtown Saskatoon, you shall not miss a chance to have the best Japanese food here.
Really happy with this omakase nigiri set! For $25, this is the real deal. The rice size accompanies the fish size perfectly. The seared salmon belly was my favourite piece. Good amount of ginger. Will definitely visit again if I am in town. I am originally from Toronto so something like this costs a lot more. Very good value and fresh fish!
Worst service I have ever experienced. Waited over 45 minutes to have brought to the table and our order taken while we watched several tables get turned over, cleaned, re-seated, and served before us. Even empty tables had water delivered before we were acknowledged. So disappointed as the food was incredible
Best sushi in Saskatoon and the service is great as well. Highly recommend!
Easily the best sushi dining experience in Saskatoon. Wonderful service, and great food all around from the rolls to the donburi to the ramen. You can t go wrong with anything here. One of my favourite places in the city I have no trouble supporting every week. Goma-ae, karrage, Raku orange, and katsu are all personal favourites.
Cant say enough about this place amazing fresh sushi, great service, and location. Will definitely be back on my next visit to saskatoon.
You have to try their special sushi rolls, they are really good quality. We ordered Las Vagas, Spicy Tuna and Special Raku rolls. All of them are very tasty, fresh, and come with good amount of ingredients instead of chunks of rice. The waitress is very helpful recommending the popular foods. And chefs at the back thanked us when we got out of the store. What a wonderful dinning experience!
The staff are so kind!! Great sushi options and also ramen!! Vegetarian options: The menu is marked with veg items and that makes me so happy because then I never have to guess or wonder!! At least 5 or 6 veg sushi options, a noodle bowl, and at least a few appetizer options. I will be coming back to enjoy the rest of the veg menu one day soon!!
The food is usually really good but sometimes the service is indifferent. It is our goto syshi place. Better reserve because it is a smaller restaurant.
We had 3 of the special rolls, very good
I travel to Saskatoon from time to time for business and eaten here a few times. Food has always been good, and the service is great. I will definitely eat here again.
Excellent sushi and always fresh!
Always satisfied when I leave Sushi Raku! The quality is high, the people are nice, and they put effort into the presentation even with take-out orders. My go to for Sushi in the city.
Great food, new tastes I never experienced in other restaurants. Its just subtle but great. I think they also had real Wasabi. I cant be sure, though. Overall, would go back again and again.
Excellent sushi and great value. Its our go-to sushi spot in Saskatoon right now
Tipping is now mandatory. Went to pick up a take out order and there was no option to skip the tip or enter your own amount. You must tip 15%, 20% or 25% and that is on top of tax. Never coming back.
Its my favorite place to get sushi in town. Great food and excellent service !
Best sushi in the city!
Favourite sushi spot in the city!
I ate 5 rolls to myself. Good shiz nit
Always a fantastic experience at Sushi Raku. Surprisingly a fair amount of vegan, options and a few more you can modify to make vegan. Great atmosphere, staff is always charming and friendly. One of the faster establishments in terms of service and having food hit the table, while never sacrificing quality. Sushi Raku, keep it up!
Great service and excellent food. We had a large party, and the food still came out quickly. We shared the sushi party tray with the entire table, which worked well. I had the ebi mayo, which was gorgeous and tasted amazing. I also had an unagi roll (great!) and the Las Vegas roll, which, again, was delicious and presented beautifully. My partner really enjoyed his Raku orange combo. We ll definitely be back.
Great food wonderful presentation
Service was slow. We literally had to wave the waitress down. People at the table would try wave at her when she walked by, but she tended to keep her head down and not look around very often. Then, she gave herself an 18% tip!
Bento, Miso, dragon and other three rolls were amazing! Fresh food. Great prices! Absolutely recommended! Central location! Parking available.
For a couple years, this is where me and my bestfriend usually dine; no matter how many new restaurants have popped up, this has always been our choice because of how GOOD the food is. But lately, the quality of their food isn t something that ll leave a great impression anymore and even the service (the chef s are great, they re actually the ones who greets you and engages with the customers), unfortunately it s the servers, it feels like they don t even want you there.
On top of amazing food and presentation, they topped off our special mothers day celebration by giving us a rose spread the word
Excellent sushi and excellent service! The best sushi in Saskatoon!
Love this place!! The food was amazing, and the service was awesome! Would definitely recommend it!!
I just went there yesterday for my birthday dinner with my husband, it was absolutely wonderful! The service was very friendly, the dish presentation was so beautiful, and the food was delicious! The takoyaki was crisp on the outside and delicious flavour, the sashimi was sliced very thin as it should be, and the sushi was so fresh and wonderful! The ingredients were good quality and the portions were perfect. I had a lovely experience overall, just a note to anyone going there on a Friday or the weekend, I highly recommend making a reservation as they get very busy (But that is a sign of a great restaurant!)
The best Japanese restaurant in Saskatoon, as a Japanese I can relate. The fish they use is the best quality around here and portions are generous. The rice could be more seasoned though. Just downgraded the review to 2 stars. Reason being for a group of 6 they automatically charged us a gratuity of 18%. Ridiculous. Probably won t come back due to this. 6 people is not a large group. The service is also subpar, servers were not friendly.
Great
This is my favourite sushi place in Saskatoon so far. The presentation was so beautiful I almost felt bad eating it. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was great.
Always good food and service.
Love this place. Definitely the best sushi in Saskatoon. Coming from living in Vancouver, this is right on par what what were used to. Lots of options and service is great. Would definitely recommend checking it out!
Great food. Great service and I really like the atmosphere when you walk in. Really inviting.
Sushi was alright Was with a large group, orders muxed up and incorrect. They tried to add on extra drinks to our bill. Even with the mix ups (which werent resolved) and incorrect orders, still had to pay an 18% gratuity. Table service in general was poor. Just go to the midtown for better service and quality.
Some of the best sushi in Saskatoon. Great presentation and of course everything tasteed awesome!
I suspect they might actually use real wasabi. Everything was gluten free that I ordered, and the waitress was very helpful in making sure that I got gluten-free food. The wasabi and soy sauce was gluten-free and that made me very happy. Dietary restrictions: Celiac and gluten free friendly
I live outside the city but every time I m here I try to go there several times :) definitely best sushi place in town
The best sushi in Saskatoon, hands down.
This is some of the best sushi and sashimi I have had in seven countries. Truly world class!
Vegetarian options: They called to let me know what was in the sauces when I specified the rolls that were for a vegetarian. Excellent customer service! Food
Best sushi in town! I am regular here for my lunch routine as their specials are great. Service is good and the staff is always willing to assist. Would recommend this place to everyone!
The atmosphere was more dinner than Japanese restaurant but the food was Japanese through and through. The Bentos were a bit unusual, more a wooden bowl with a bed of rice and the various selections on top rather than the more traditional (?) tray with compartments for each item. We also got a sushi boat. All the food was good but not so special that it would eclipse other Japanese restaurants in the city.
Sushi was really good. Definitely on another level from New Island in Saskatoon. However, you will be paying for it. Great place for Japanese food on the rare occasion.
Best sushi in Saskatoon!
The ramen tastes terrible, the worst ever I have. The so called Crispy salmon rolls are not crispy.
Amazing experience. Fast service and delicious sushi.
So good sushi
Absolutely fantastic sushi and incredibly fast service. Loved that they had a gluten free menu for me and GF soy sauce. So glad they were open on labor day so we got to try them out. If I lived here, Id be a regular for sure. Vegetarian options: Many rolls that were veg only Dietary restrictions: Great Gluten free choices that they actually understand
Great sushi wont lie.
The place is like a regular sushi place. The food was (personally) kinda mid. The service was very good, people were very nice.
Quality of fish old and flavours bland. Not real quality sushi. Tastes cheap, but the price is not!
Amazing Sushi at this restaurant! Service was amazing, nice ambiance and great prices! I highly recommend this place for a chill night out or for any sort of Sushi cravings!
Sushi raku is always a good idea! I love their special sushi rolls, especially the BBQ tuna one. If you come during happy hour, appetizers are only $5. Highly recommend the spicy chicken karage and takoyaki. Everyone working is super friendly. If you even ask, the servers can recommend great Korean shows. Well definitely continue coming back at least once a week!
The warm cosy feeling of Sushi Raku is very comforting and vibey. Staff were friendly and very sweet. The food was so delicious and it was presented beautifully. This has become my go to comfort food spot Vegetarian options: they were so good!!
The food was raw, and poor tasting the communication was poor and they delivered to the wrong hotel and I had to go walk over and meet the delivery guy. Would never eat here again! The dynamite roll and soft shell crab roll were soggy and fell apart and the shrimp tempura was raw.
The freshest sushi in town. Moved from BC last year and have found Sushi Raku to have the best quality Sushi in town and surrounding areas. The staff are always friendly and the service is too notch. Highly recommend checking this place out.
Great service and awesome sushi! Food came quickly and was really good value for the quality.
We celebrated my niece s birthday and the service and food was great. They even gave her two desserts which were delicious! Thank you!!
Good variations of sushi a lot of the food didnt look like the pictures on the menu and it took forever for the sushi to come. Vegetarian options: Very limited choice
Loved the rolls
Stellar meal. Great portions. What a treat! Sunshine roll is an absolute favorite
Came in with gluten dietary restrictions and they accomodated us so well. They gave us gluten free soya sauce and each dish came separately. Wonderful experience will come again.
The service at this establishment is truly exceptional, and the food is nothing short of excellent. Despite having a large party, our orders arrived promptly, impressing us all. We decided to indulge in the sushi party tray, which was a perfect choice for our entire table. Personally, I couldnt resist trying the ebi mayo, and it was a sight to behold, as well as a delight to the taste buds. I also savored the unagi roll, which was outstanding, and the Las Vegas roll, which was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. My partner thoroughly enjoyed his Raku orange combo, leaving us both eager to return for more. Parking: Easy parking Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair access
A small dinky little place, seats about up to 40 (?) and a little rough around the edges. But the service was great and the wait staff are friendly. I ordered a bento box and tempura. Tempura was crisp. The food was had good savory flavours and textures. The pictures tell the tale. (What, the pictures show empty plates? Look, if the food was bad you would be able to see WHY it was bad. Since it was good, obviously you see the end result. Just telling it like it is and believe me it was delicious.) Will come back someday. I hear that the ramen dishes are nice too.
Best sushi place in Saskatoon.
Best sushi I ve had in a long time. Fresh and generous cuts of fish on top the rainbow roll. Even the ginger & wasabi was fresh & great! Being able to eat outdoors on the patio was a bonus
Lovely food and atmosphere. I always love to come here, perfect for a small lunch or big dinner.
Good food. The volcano roll was over cooked. But that was a one off, as I have eaten here lots. Just chec out the hour of operation before just showing up. They are closed for a couple of hours each day during their open and closing hours.
Usually I never give a 5 stars review. But this place, earnt it. The food was delicious, staff super friendly and the atmosphere was quiet. We went there to celebrate a birthday party! We had no regrets about out decision! Thanks to the team for a wonderful evening.
Delicious Philadelphia rolls with salmon, did not like the ramen, good service
Best of the best !!!
What a great experience at Sushi Raku. Its a little bit pricier than other sushi restaurants in town but well worth it. The ingredients were very fresh and the servers were great at explaining all of the dishes as they came. Will be back for sure. Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options. Parking: Lots of spots right outside the restaurant.
Really nice place, good location and the inside of the restaurant gives a really good vibe. The food itself is top-notch, probably the best sushi and Bento Ive ever had. Probably one of the best restaurants in Saskatoon.
I came here for my birthday refeed with my bestie. We drove 3 hours. We were shown to a table and sat down, ordered our food and about five minutes after our meal arrived at the table, they asked us to leave because they were closing for one hour. We barely got to enjoy any of our sushi before they kicked us out. The whole experience sucked. Next time Ill be going to Sushi Island.
Food tastes Great!! Gluten free choices!
Yummy sushi at reasonable prices, would recommend picking the sushi combo if youre having a hard time deciding what to eat!
Best sushi in the city!
Amazing food, awesome staff and a great place to be! Everything is so fresh!
Sushi was very good, reasonably priced.
They have izakaya
this place has the best sushi
Tasty
I picked this place off the map because the Donburi caught my eye. Its a particular favourite of mine since I visited South Korea, and not many places have in on the menu. I wasnt disappointed. The Salmon Don was delicious and decently priced. The friends I was with had a variety of sushi, and said they quite enjoyed it. All in all, would return, would recommend there are plenty more things on the menu that Id like to try.
My favourite place to eat sashimi and sushi , always so fresh and always leaving happy
