Earls Kitchen + Bar in Saskatoon

We were a group of 20 for lunch on a weekday. Favourite dishes were Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl and Sante Fe Chicken Salad. Special thanks to Tara and entire team for delivering delicious meals right on time!

Me and my girlfriend are ones to order regularly from earls, we usually always get the steak and sushi. We did try the spicy California roll, it was not good at all. We both ended up getting sick pretty bad the same night into the next day. They should consider brining back the dynamite roll

I don t think I ll being ordering the steak and sushi ever again unless they bring back the dynamite roll. I eat here semi regularly and I always get the steak and sushi as it s my favorite. I knew they changed the options and was hesitant to try the spicy California roll. To me nothing about it tasted like a California roll sadly. It tasted way too fishy and almost had a Smokey taste as well, it was not good. Really ruined the meal for me and my friend said she ordered the week prior and the new California rolls made her sick.

Food overall is great, love their truffle fries and some of their other dishes. This lication specifically though is terrible for take out. Every time Ive ordered online, Ive had to wait at least 15 mins in the back to pick up. Last time was 35 minutes waiting. Finally went around to the front to pick up because there was no one at the back to deliver their take out orders. Parking: Parking lot next to the restaurant is free.

OK atmosphere. Pizza was dry, like it had been in the oven a few times. A burger is probably a safer bet here. Service was average(was sat at wrong reserved table.)

Service was good. The food was tasty. I was just disappointed that when I reserved the table, I mentioned that it was our daughters 22nd birthday, and not one person mentioned anything.

The warm kale salad is excellent. Ive come back several times for it.

I ve never been a fan of potatoes in any form other than fried. Today is a different experience. My Cajun blackened chicken is an experience out of the world. The chicken tastes soo good, well marinade. And the blackened added a different taste. Overall, it s like that extra feeling you get beyond a product s performance i.e., that extra feeling of satisfaction. Earls got me now. And Ben s so special; lovely guy. Im coming again, for sure.

I ordered the Angry Chicken lettuce wraps and the chicken was raw. I never noticed until the second wrap. I did get a sorry from the server but no manager came to table to apologize, I felt like the server avoided our table after that. I didn t order anything else as I was put off but they could have offered to send me home with something if I got hungry later. Or they could have said please contact us if you feel ill.

We were given incorrect information on wine pricing, causing us to be over billed by more than $50.00. We pointed out the problem and were told that they issued a credit on our credit cards. No credit receipt was offered, so we will have to wait to see what happens. The server, food, and service was great. Small thing but kind of annoying.

The changes to the menu are a huge thumbs down! All of my favorites have been removed or changed in ways that make them inedible. The Tuna Poke Bowl used to be my go-to but has now been changed and tastes awful. Why ruin a good thing?

Calamari was very good, but don t recommend the seafood chowder . Very poor , lots of little carrots pieces and no seafood.. was supposed to be New England style but was hard pressed to identify a cream base.

My husband and I had lunch here today. Food came on time and everything was spot on. Our server Lundus was absolutely fantastic. He made our experience so much more special. Hes knowledgeable, respectful, fun to talk to and can definitely handle a good joke. Thanks Landus for going above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. Youre great at what you do!!!

I took a bunch of friends to treat them for my birthday. And it s the worst choice I could have made. To list our experience :- 1. We ordered the lettuce wraps and pizzas for appetisers with some drinks - the server asked us if we would need cutlery!!! Like he dint even want to give us plates and spoons. When we requested for some they were just put ( thrown randomly) on our table with a lot of displeasure and rush. 2. The food was average. My friend requested her pop to be given from a bottle as their machine pop was tasting absolutely flat to which they finally agreed after she having to make them believe it s too bad and she can t have it. It was such an unpleasant experience just for some pop!! 3. To top it all our vegetarian main course were mistaken for chicken !!! They were apologetic about this and their attitude did change after this big goof up towards the end .To which they offered a dessert or 10% discount. But they did manage to make my evening an unpleasant experience for me and my friends for my 40th birthday.And of course they did charge their 18% for this service as it was a big group and it s their policy. A waste of my 350$. We finally had our dessert at Cactus and were glad to be there.

Earl s is great place with good food. I was taken aback by the SERVICE. I ordered a dish that primarily has tuna but the server checked in with the chef and they were happy to replace it with chicken. The server came back with a totally different chicken dish and did not care to tell me that he thought the one I had ordered wouldn t taste as good as the one he brought for me. The dish was undoubtedly great, but I am flabbergasted by the audacity this person had of telling me he chose the dish for me and then just left. I am at loss to say anything besides that I was very disappointed even after showing my displeasure with the situation.

Danica was a 10/10, I will be back again and again just for the experience she provided! She deserves a raise!

So, I ordered a Kale & Mushroom pizza on 2024/08/30 for a pick up which had a hair in the dough. I confirmed with the staff if this was a frozen or a fresh made, its a fresh made hair filled pizza.

Tonight we went to Earls for my birthday supper,while the food itself tasted good I was seriously disappointed with the whole experience. My salmon was hot but the rice and asparagus were cold. The server fist suggested bringing my meal back and rewarming it. Im not a fan of rewarmed asparagus at home let alone at a restaurant. I ended up with new asperagus and rice ( rice still not hot and seemed crispy,almost like it had been fried) but tasted ok,but by then my husband was done his meal and I was finished my salmon. I just felt my meal wouldve been more enjoyable had everything been hot and served together and not having to feel like I was expected to have my food microwaved in order to have it hot,it felt like I was asking too much to have my food hot. I left feeling dissapointed unfortunately. I hadnt been there in years and picked to go there for my birthday but Im not sure Ill be wanting to go back again.

Incredibly big restaurant with an amazing patio. I was in town for work and everyone recommended this place and Im glad they did. Ive been to an Earls in Ontario, but this one took me by surprise. The food quality is great and the staff is attentive and friendly.

Atmosphere was good, food as always was nice. Service a tad under the usual, no cutlery, server was not as consistent on checking up on our group and whether we needed more food/drinks. To say the least was disappointed this time round. Hoping the next visit may be different experience.

Ordered a shrimp cocktail and asked for it to be brought out with the entrees. It was brought out right away, so I sent it back. When the entrees came out, the same shrimp cocktail came with them, but by now it was soggy and gross. Had to send it back a second time to get an acceptable shrimp cocktail. Staff were rude and unhelpful and I wont be coming back

Quiet, great prices before 5 for happy hour. Food was good, I had a simple pizza.

While the food was (mostly) great, having automatic gratuity because of your group size shouldnt mean the staff dont refill glasses, provide timely service, and ensure everyone enjoys their meals. There was a reservation made, it was an important evening, and it seemed like our party was forgotten in the corner.

Been here a few times. Always have had great service, and great food. I got the truffle tortellini, and my fiance got a chicken sandwich. We also shared the truffle fries as an appetizer. We sat on the outdoor patio which is gorgeous with its abundant greenery. Our hostess Nicole was the sweetest as well. All around a great experience

We are in town for an event and stopped in for dinner. Shared the calamari, angry chicken lettuce wraps, and the dynamite roll. All were very good. So tasty. Calamari was uniquely prepared. We loved it. We would have preferred a garlic aoili for dipping, however. The dynamite roll was fantastic. The angry chicken was AMAZING!! It was however, hotter than hell! We love spicy, but wow, we were both blowing our noses and having to pace ourselves. So good!!! Our son got the steak fries. Steak was definitely smaller than he expected. Cooked to perfection

Food was great and the server looks like someone is forcing her to work there. Ruins everything and not at all friendly. Trys to give a smile but fails miserably . Messed up one of my daughters order as well. Never thanked us just left the bill and off she goes. This was my 2nd visit and the previous one was somewhat better. But compared to some of the other leading places, they have a lot do in terms of getting customers back. Wouldnt go back again...

Portion sizes were quite generous. Everyone in our party (14 of us) found the food very tasty. I had the bacon cheddar burger which was great, although a bit large for me. We were there Sunday night and the restaurant was fairly quiet, so that was good. Service was a bit slower than ideal and there was some confusion about who ordered what. The atmosphere was agreeable. Overall, a nice experience.

I have not been to Earls Saskatoon for twenty years. I am glad to see they have upheld their high level of standards for food, service and atmosphere. Great place. Thanks.

Food wasn t taste like what we expected but the service was great.

Food was alright, made for a nice and easy Father s Day dinner for my family. Only downside was that one of our meals was missing an entire accompaniment. We had the dressing for it but no actual salad greens. I ordered our meal online and it said in the plate description the meal was to come with a salad. Disappointing that this was totally missed because I did pick up as we live outside of the city. I tried calling the restaurant twice to see if we could find a solution to the mistake but no one answered the line so that quickly became not an option. Aside from that the meal was good.

Earls is in my top 5 favorite restaurants in Saskatoon. The service and food cant be beat. I tried the tropic thunder pizza for the first time, the pineapple was delicious!

I had the Santa Fe Chicken salad and it was very good. Quite filling actually. Cant say the same about the starter of bone-in pork dry ribs though. For nearly 18 dollars you get a dozen or so ribs, but they are mostly bones with a little bit of meat. Not worth it. The atmosphere is good. A little bit loud, but anywhere thats popular tends to be. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable. No issues with them.

Extremely disappointed to see the grilled chicken and baked brie sandwich has been removed from the menu. This has been a favourite of mine for years and I would order this every time I came to Earls without fail. It is actually the reason I would choose to dine here. With it now gone, and nothing else similar to it, I do not see myself dining here as often. As well as the raspberry mojito now contain frozen raspberries rather than fresh raspberry purée.

Wow! Went to Earls tonight and had Nathan as a server. He was awesome! His charismatic demeanour and overall knowledge of the menu and drinks really added a positive vibe to our experience. The kitchen was out of Ribeye, and Nathan came by our table with nothing but extraordinary recommendations as a replacement option. Outstanding service Nathan and an enjoyable meal. Give this man a raise!!

Reliable slightly fancy chain. Saskatoon Earls venue is unique, with large space, two lounges and characteristic building. Late night happy hour good deals on food and drinks! Last call before 11 am. Vegetarian options: Both vegetarian options, and helpful kitchen will sub tofu instead of chicken in for various dishes. Being vegan may be challenge, but very vegetarian friendly, at least for no meat as main protein options Kid-friendliness: Yes, but no kids menu Kids love Margarita pizza $13 on happy hour before 5 pm beats Boston Pizza!

We love the patio, was a good spot to bring our 6 month old. They also are extremely accommodating with allergies (nuts and fish) they have a separate fryer for their fries. Stopped in between a wedding ceremony and reception this weekend. Had some lovely happy hour drinks and food for very good prices. Our server even brought us an extra key lime pie they had already made free of charge!! Fantastic spot for happy hour (2-5pm in the afternoon)!!

Food was great. We were sitting in the lounge on the left side of the doors. Service was slow, and it was very loud with music and a live DJ. It was very difficult to have a conversation.

UPDATE: Ended up getting food poisoning from this place! never again!! Decided to take my mother out for her birthday here and was super disappointed.. first off we waited so long to get our food, once we got our food it was unpleasantly salty but then the chicken strips I ordered for my son were very bland. I brought in a cake and once I got the bill I got charged a cake cutting fee but we cut the cake ourselves? So I was super confused. Never heard of a cake cutting fee. Spent about 300$ and was not worth it. Save your money.

Earls never surprises you.. went there yesterday tried Santafe Chicken Salad it was great .. Chicken Biryani in Earls is one of the best in town! Service is great.. ambience is awesome! No complaints whatsoever Food : 5/5

If looking for coctails this is not the place. Premade expresso martini. Also the whiskey sour was terrible. Why bother even having bartenders if they can make the same drinks as a small town bar? Carvers or the Granary offer proper bartenders. No option to contact this location directly or I would have just left my feedback that way.

Loved it here. Pricey, but the vibe can t be beat, and right from coming in the front door the staff was amazing.

Have frequently dined here, my last visit was turning into a bad review, had arrived to a busy restaurant with some family I hadn t seen in 40 years, we were told it would be a 20 minute wait for a table, no problem we asked to sit at the bar while we waited and ordered some drinks, 15 minutes later we were told a table was ready and moved to it Then the disappointment began, after at least 20 minutes we had yet to be attended to by a server, we approached a server and were told they would look into it 20 minutes later after approaching another server who once again said they would look into and no result we asked to see the manager This is when it finally turned around for the best Tia(hopefully right spelling) came the table, profusely apologized and immediately began to serve us she was extremely professional and handled the situation exceptionally My faith in Earls was tenfold restored Thank you Dietary restrictions: Happy accommodated with great tasting food

The vibe here was relaxed and fun. We were able to get a table fairly quickly even though they have no reservations. You can check in online which I think helps speed up the process so would highly recommend doing so. The server was really good and stayed on top of everyones drinks, all while being courteous and friendly. The food was amazing. It tasted great and was exactly as described. Prices were reasonable.

Absolutely appalled at the piece of steak they sent out to my table, completely charred and visually unappealing! Even the veggies were burnt, who s the chef?! My friend that dined with me had a horrible experience with overcooked steak as well. We dine frequently at earls establishment in Alberta & this was by far the worst we have ever had. Won t be back l!!

Weekends Love it long time ! Enjoying this location for many years, especially for weekend meetings ups - even work meetings. Much quieter, can dress more casual, spend more time. Bit pricey but worth it in my opinion. Great food. Great service- every time! Thanks Parking: front and plentiful at the side of the building. Slow service, the food arrived before the drinks, the food was not what I expected, I have visited this restaurant in different cities in Canada and I did not like this branch in particular, the difference in size is very noticeable. My son ordered a chicken sandwich, he liked it a lot but it had too much fat.

My food was very good! It took a while to get seated as we had prebooked 2 tables together, but they were booked in separate areas. The team was able to sort it out, and we had a great meal.

The food tastes amazing however, my complaint is the portions side was really small. Barely any potatoe salad and small amount of coleslaw

We received really good service and had a great experience overall. Edited my review from 1 to 5 stars. Im hoping it stays that way as we plan on returning Original Review: I used to love hitting the lounge for a beverage and some apps with friends. This time, we decided to sit at the bar while we waited for other friends to arrive. What a mistake that was! Even though there were two bartenders working and it wasnt very busy, we waited almost 10 minutes before one of them acknowledged we were there. What made it worse is the bartenders surly attitude and how she acted like she would rather have had her teeth pulled out than serve us. We quickly finished our drinks and messaged the rest of our party to meet us somewhere else. We wont be back.

The food is delicious. The atmosphere is great. Wonderful and fast service. The patio is a very comfortable place to eat and drink with friends on a beautiful day!

I having option of either the patio, the restaurant (quiet atmosphere for those with sensory overload), the lounge (a bit louder than the restaurant but dim lights and cozy) or Bacchus *the pub/bar (for the louder and rowdier crowds lol). Good food good service and atmosphere but very pricey!

The food was delicious, especially this new pulled chicken clubhouse, which is very satisfying in one bite. But the service was not very prompt, it took a while for someone to get us water when we entered and we were ready to order before we saw the waiter who served us!

No tip Saturday Food today was good as it typical here. Service on the other hand was poor. It did not seem overly busy on the patio but server was inattentive. I was done my meal, water and drink. Wife was just about done her drink. He picked up my plate, never offered either of us another drink or refilled water. Restaraunt pays servers to take orders and bring food to the table. Patrons come to the restaraunt for good food and will tip for good service. Its all part of the dining out experience. Maybe this waiter felt he had made enough $$ today or maybe he feels he is just entitled to a tip. Nope. Tips are earned with an effort to serve. You cant even fill my water??? I work hard for my money and will not tip a server who doesnt make an effort to serve. Bottom line, food is good, service was poor. Why did I go out, I can have good food at home.

Went for dinner and drinks with a large group of friends for my birthday. Food was delicious, service was amazing. Our server was awesome and took care of everyone at the table though it was a very large group, she even offered a free dessert for my birthday. Highly recommended.

Ordered sticky toffee chocolate pudding today and had a very bad experience. First of all the brownie was damn cold, I was expecting atleast warm and secondly there were no cutlery in the take out bag after specifically asking for one. I never had this experience with earls before.

This is one of the nicest Earl s in Canada. Built in an old Bread Factory with lots of history. Staff have alway been great there. Food delicious. Blackened Chicken with warm Potato Salad is an awesome combination.

All our potatoes were cold, fries, mashed, etc. Soup came with meal, no spoon, salt, pepper, butter for lobster. 1/2 price wine was good. Wont go back. Too many other restaurants with no issues.

Amazing place with good food

Earls removed the chicken fig sandwich. It was the only reason we went there. Their menu has been reduced and theres nothing really worth the visit anymore. You can get the same type of food anywhere else.

Everything was absolutely excellent the day we visited. Been awhile since we had but it totally satisfied including our sushi, surf & turf, add ons, plus dessert all which were incredibly done to perfection with amazing flavor. Also wasnt overly busy the day of which made it all that more comfortable.

The food was great, but the service was slow. Our server walked by our table numerous times without checking in. Would have ordered more drinks during our meal but didnt get the chance.

Me, my mom, and my sister came out for dinner on Wednesday and the staff went above and beyond for us. We are incredibly impressed with all the host staff and our server, Robby. We felt super cared for and had a great time, we ll be back soon!

The food was pretty good as was the service. Seemed a little on pricey side for value of food and level of service. We ate in the lounge, a lot of raunchy rap music that I felt was just really inappropriate, unnecessary and did nothing for the vibe.

I am very disappointed with how my wife and I were treated here today. We have recently found out that my wife is celiac and can have a sever reaction to gluten. We had been served water, and I had ordered a beer while we waited to order some food. I went to refill my wifes water, and saw what we think are flakes of bread crust at the bottom of the pitcher and our glasses. I asked to talk to the manager who was apologetic, but said that these things can happen sometimes. Although the menu identifies food that is gluten sensitive, the staff clearly does not handle food or drinks carefully enough for people with dietary restrictions. We decided to leave, and I was charged for my beer which I left on the table. (this is principlely why I am going out of my way to leave this review) Dietary restrictions: Staff are not careful with food handling and I would not recommend anyone with dietary restrictions eat here.

Great dining experience, well decorated. The food was delicious and the truffle mayo that came with the fries was immaculate. Service is always great.

Earls is a Saskatoon landmark. The interior is so unique and beautiful and they have the best outdoor patio in the city hands down. They have an old style elevator that takes you up to a second floor that I believe is for special events only and is very mysterious. The ambience of this restaurant is absolutely unparalleled and the food is consistently fantastic. I go here often, and on my most recent visit, was with a group of women. Our waiter, Bob was excellent. He was funny and he treated us very well. I highly recommend this restaurant and will continue to frequent it.

The two of us each very much enjoyed our meals. Service was excellent, it wasnt super busy so not too noisy.

I used to love Earls, but this recent experience has not been sitting right with me. While waiting 30+ minutes to order my food, I saw our server talking with another worker, ignoring us. our server Sarah was extremely rude, don t check up on me and my husband. despite poor service i tipped 10% where she then gave us a nasty look. you lost a loyal customer.

Who pays 3$ extra for canned and mushrooms and 2$ extra for regular compared to Cajun chicken great service though

Over rated.... over priced

I had never been to this Earls location, but the service was amazing, and while we waited for our table, they offered us hot cocoa. Beautiful environment

Reasonable price, good portion, good place and good food

Very good sushi rolls and attentive service at the bar. I will be making it a regular visit when in Saskatoon.
