We were a large group of 18 and were served very quickly, especially considering our group size. The food was fabulous. Our waitress was friendly and prompt and came to check on us just the right amount of times. Will definitely be back!

I was there for a large party on Thursday. I showed up late so I didn t eat food but the place was clean and had a great atmosphere for our group to chat and mingle, drinks were fast and delicious, and I had great service from Kennedy! Would recommend!

From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting and stylish, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing meal. But what really made the night special was our server, Zack. He was friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the evening.

The service is always absolutely amazing here. From the second you walk in untill the moment you leave they make you feel like youre at home. The food is always top tier, from the appetizers to the mains. I have yet to have anything from here that isnt delicious. The cocktails are poured with extreme care and it shows with the perfect flavors they blend together. I always recommend this place to all my friends and family and cant wait to go back.

The burger was one of the best in the city. Home cut fries were fantastic and the lemon rice soup is better than his brothers. Parking: Good.

Our server Macy was awesome! The food and service was 10/10. Macy was also very knowledgeable on the cutlery and dishware used. Specifically, recommending the bowls, as they are amazing for Greek salad and definitely savor the flavor.

Yesterday evening, I went to Filosophi with a friend for dinner and ordered a mocktail from their zero-proof menu. My friend ordered a bottle of wine with one glass. Our drinks arrived, and we proceeded to order food. When the server checked in on us, she asked if I d like another drink. I decided to try a different mocktail from the same zero-proof menu and pointed to it. She hesitated, seeming unsure, and asked was that one supposed to be alcohol-free? And pointed to my empty glass on the table. I said, yes, why? was it not? She said it wasn t, apologized 2-3x and brought me a different drink. As someone who is 100% sober, I was and still am pretty upset about this but of course was trying to shake it off in the moment as I could tell the server felt bad. But maintaining sobriety is a personal and important commitment to me. Later, the server informed us she was finishing her shift and asked us to settle the bill. After paying, my friend and I stayed a bit longer to chat. When we eventually left, I reviewed my bill again and noticed I had been charged full price ($14) for the alcohol drink + liquor tax. I decided to speak to a manager on my way out, as we were not paid a visit by one at all through out the night after the mistake. A server brought someone who appeared to be the owner. After briefly hearing my explanation, he glanced at the bill and continued to call it a learning experience for his staff and did not acknowledge the seriousness of it at all. Instructed the staff to hand him $10 from the till for me, and sent me on my way which doesn t even cover the cost of the drink after all haha like what a joke. He seemed more concerned about whether my friend s wine bottle was properly corked than addressing my complaint. The interaction with the owner felt dismissive and humiliating. I probably would have been better off not confronting him at all. It wasn t about the $10 it was about the seriousness of serving alcohol to someone who explicitly ordered a non-alcoholic drink and acknowledging it, when sobriety is important to them. Do better, filosophi. Safe to say I will not be returning.

We had just had a great meal. Date night for two, in a cozy booth upstairs. Nico, our server was friendly and attentive. He gave some insight into menu items when we had questions and we had fun comparing notes about Tiramisu vs Tiramisu Cheesecake. Food was delicious and there were some unique items on the menu. We will come back.

Our dinner party of 5 made a dinner reservation for 5:30 pm. We were escorted to our table upstairs and occupied a great setting with nice window view. Our waitress Penny was a delight and she was very attentive. Our drinks didnt take too long to come and the meal was enjoyed by everyone. My Prawn Pomodoro with mushrooms was outstanding..as were the other meals. I highly recommend Filosophi and please understand that youre not their only client. If they a busy..good for them..be patient. If you have a concern..address it with your waitress..We will be back! Parking: The lot is immediately south of the restaurant

We booked for 6 and had 9 show up. The team was super accommodating. Our food and drinks showed up quickly and were good quality for the money. Macy did an amazing job as our server. Parking: It just takes luck!

Lots of parking. Had a wonderful waiter upstairs at 12:30 on Sun.Sept.29/2024. He was very knowledgeable of gluten in all the dishes when helping our mom, and communicative with the kitchen. All staff was well dressed. Food was quick and wonderful. The menu was clean (easy to work through and share your order). Multiple staff acknowledged us as we were leaving the restaurant. Thank you.

Great gluten free options and an interesting variety of menu items. I had the BLT burger which was outstanding but the lemon rice soup that accompanied it was far too salty. Overall though, everyone loved the food they selected. Service was friendly and efficient.

The worst service ever and so expensive for no reason. We reserved a table for our anniversary there because we met there and when we went there they did not even make the table ready no cutleries nothing and literally there was no table available and at ladt they gave us the worst table in front of the bar and when we ordered they only brought us one set of cutlery. I was very pissed and i even told the server and no apologies from the manager either. The food quantity was so low for the price and drinks were way to expensive i mean omg the worst experience ever .

I used to have another favourite restaurant in town, but I now consider Filosophi my new favourite. Whether I am in the mood for a burger or a beautiful pasta, Filosophi NEVER disappoints. Service is perfect (not too much) and we felt we were valued diners.

One of the best spots in town! Such a great vibe on Friday nights, especially if UofS sports are happening in the area. This past weekend we had a cheese appetizer (cheese set with a flame then put out with lemon juice - it was divine), my husband had a rigatoni pasta with sausage and I had my usual/favourite shrimp scampi. My usual drink is an Aperol Spritz, it s delicious and mixed so well with slices of dried citrus garnish. Dessert was gluten free cheesecake, and we don t seek out GF food, but it s so delicious! Time and time again a great spot to eat in YXE with impeccable service!

First visit here during our drive home from Winnipeg to Edmonton. Reviews looked good so we made the choice to eat here. Tasty meal on the patio. Appetizers of olives and bruschetta, we shared a salad and pasta dish. Nothing fancy, but generally well executed without much of a wait. We would like to try more items on the menu next time.

Excellent service, delicious food, very comprehensive drink selection. If you dont see your drink of choice on the menu dont hesitate to ask, they probably have it! There is a beautiful dessert bar for those who have a sweet tooth.

Really quite enjoy this restaurant. We come semi-regularly as my daughter works at the University. Service is always excellent, food is very good and they can make most dishes celiac friendly. Highly recommend !

We were in town for the death of our father and wanted somewhere close to hospital where family can bond and relax for a bit. We were sat in the horseshoe bench seat in centre of restaurant and began ordering wine and apps. The place was filling up fast and obviously the room got louder so we being in the centre had to raise our voices to hear each other. The owner was so rude and too cowardly to ask us politely to lower our noise level but made our waitress say something on his behalf. We ushered him over and pointed to the other tables and how they are loud and laughing and he doubled down with his insolent demeanor with an off handed comment and stormed away. We will not be back. Food and wine was all very average however it was priced like it was high end.

Finomenal... see what I did there? Very good experience. Ample portions. Gr8 service. Had no space for the darn cheesecakes, since that was the reason I went there in the first place. The other three in our party had no room either. Maybe next time I will just start with the desserts. Hah!!!!!

*skip delivery, I did not come to the restaurant* honestly dont know how this place is rated 4.8 stars. it tastes like Olive Garden only more expensive. The steak tasted boiled with no Flavour and came with 2.5 pieces of asparagus. Like really? The Brussels sprouts were not grilled, they were burnt and bitter. The Greek salad felt like no effort went into making it. The pieces were huge like you had to eat one piece at a time not together like an actual salad and the dressing was foul. Whatever oil they used in my dressing was definitely old and rancid. Or it least it tasted that way, I couldnt even tell what type of oil it was. The pasta was okay but again, tasted like Olive Garden pasta. Nothing special and hard to mess up but Id give that a 7/10 it was the best thing out of it all. Me and my bf share a birthday and decided to try this restaurant as a treat and we were both extremely disappointed. Huge waste of $110 and would not recommend you come here. Maybe we just got unlucky because they do have good reviews but Id recommend just going elsewhere we Really wanted to like this place as we hear lots of good stuff but it was just not good. I wont come here again and I cant recommend it.

Visiting Saskatoon and just finished my meal at Filosophi. Will visit here whenever I am back in town. My server, Courtney, was amazing. Very attentive and helpful.... didnt miss a beat. The entire staff is superb. They help each other and make the entire experience special. My steak was perfect! The Lemon cheesecake was heavenly. The owner? Dinner was absolutely delicious! I had steak and garlic mashed potato while my partner had Alfredo and we both really enjoyed our meals. Our server was attentive without being overly so. Would definitely recommend!!

Our fencing club was in Saskatoon for a competition and they were able to accommodate our group of 25 on a Saturday night last minute. They rearranged their upstairs dining room and we were able to spend an amazing evening. The service was excellent! We really appreciated the manager checking up on us, but our server was amazing handling our large group on her own, so there was nothing to worry about! Portions were HUGE and food was delicious. No complaints from kids or adults. We even went back the next day! Would definitely go back!

The food is absolutely amazing! Weve been there twice, now, so weve tried four dishes. All of them perfectly prepared and very flavorful. The patio is nice... Sad that its so close to a major road, but its not that noisy. The staff are really friendly! Top notch, and highly recommended!

It was comfortable, well lit, welcoming. The staff was friendly. Our server was very nice, and professional. My husband is allergic to tree nuts, and unfortunately we were not informed that the capuchino (which was absolutely delicious!) came with a slice of a cookie that contained almonds, so I do recommend letting your server know any food allergies. She was very apologetic and it didnt cause any serious or lasting effects. She handed our concerns very quickly and I truly appreciate it! The food was really good, and comes in portions that are certainly worth the price youre paying. A positive experience in general. I recommend checking it out for yourself!

My co worker and me decided to try this place out after a trip to the city. Let me tell you was a very enjoyable dinner. I had the Bacon Mushroom Burger which was 10/10. The chuck burger, sautéed mushrooms, mozzarella cheese and house made sauce all put together on the freshest bun really was satisfying. The atmosphere was very cozy and warm. A place where you could visit or maybe read a book with a nice coffee. The staff where very friendly and well mannered. Paige keep up the good work! Ate there twice in the past two weeks. The service was excellent both times. The first time I sat inside, which was a nice atmosphere. Second time sat on the deck which was ok other than they had the heaters on even though it was a very warm evening. The food on the first visit was incredible, a near perfect burger. The second visit was pretty average. Calamari was overcooked and the pizza was soggy and heavy.

Restaurant Filosophi is a must for me in my yearly visit to Saskatoon. Whatever I order, the Lemon chicken rice soup is a must! Today I enjoyed it with the fantástico cajun chicken, à glass or 2 of Pinot Grigio, and finished with a baklava cheesecake cake and peppermint tea. Fántastic!

The food and the service were great, however, I also noticed even on the weekdays when it s not too busy , they save the more popular tables for fake reservations. Which I found it somewhat disappointing. I would go again and dine there for sure . It s the number one in Saskatoon.

I have been here several times now. Not once has it been a good experience. Twice I was told by different servers that they were sorry for the wait on food or drinks because they were working with a needy high profile table. Unprofessional to say the least. The last time we came back to try this place, we were finished our appetizer, before I had received the drink I ordered at the beginning of the service. My shrimp scampi I ordered as a meal was so over cooked it was not edible. Husbands steak was also over cooked. They offered dessert for the inconvenience...Its a shame that I would have to come in with my LV suit for anyone to take decent care of us.

Filosophi was my favorite restaurant but the quality has decreased over the last several months. Tonight I ordered a take-out order of $15 sweet potato fries and was very disappointed by the limited quantity and low quality. I am sad to leave a negative review because Filosophi used to be so good

My boyfriend and I went to Filosophi last night for supper. Honestly, it is now our favourite restaurant in Saskatoon. The coctails are soooo good. We tried the whiskey sour, blood orange sour, raspberry vanilla sour and saskatoonberry sling. We both got pasta and oreo cheesecake. Gluten free options out there too! The service was great. The decor and vibes were awesome. We will definitely be coming back!

Very friendly staff and the desert absolutely amazing

Went here for the first time the other night on a date with my boyfriend, we had booked a reservation and they were running a bit behind and we had to wait about 20 mins after our set time. Due to the wait we were served a free appetizer almost immediately after being seated which was very kind. We ordered the calamari, the ribeye, and the brussel sprouts to share. The calamari was tender and not rubbery at all. The brussel sprouts were super tasty my boyfriend doesn t even like brussel sprouts and he LOVED them but what really stood out to us was the ribeye. It was cooked to perfection, had so much flavour and we both agreed it was the best steak we ve had at any restaurant in SK. Drinks were also very good. We will definitely be back for the fantastic food and service!
