Do not go for mothers day. Twice now they have lost our reservations. Food is fine, but they took too many reservations and the buffet area was backed up and overcrowded. The plants are very nice.

Thank god I called prior to bringing my mom and family. They have Listed everywhere on posts and website, the times, and the outline of the mothers day brunch, nowhere did it say that you needed to make a reservation. We have been talking about going for a while and would have made a reservation if ANY of the posts outlined to make a reservation.

Well, to be fair Ive eaten here before with no issues. This time however, I received a side of food poisoning with my fish and chips. 24 hrs later when I was able, I called them to report my issue, only to have no one find the restaurant manager. They took my name and number, and I called them back 2 days later because no one called me back. This time I talked to the manager Rita, who was very sympathetic but said she couldnt do anything and would pass my concern on to the head chef... As the restaurant manager should you not have a protocol in place for this type of issue? Tyler the head chef called but it seems that the Saskatoon inn Garden Cafe doesnt take food poisoning very seriously. Im not positive they really cared they didnt even offer to give me my money back for the meal. There are other places to eat in Saskatoon, and we will.

Oh my goodness! Best Christmas Dinner Buffet Dec 2022 ever!! It was amazing! Thank you to the Chef and all the staff! You worked so hard and must have prepared for so long! And it showed!! From the Turkey and stuffing, pasta bar, Prime Rib, ham, pierogis, seafood and salad bar and the absolute most amazing dessert bar ever! I can t tell you how awesome this meal was best Christmas Dinner ever! We were all so happy and satisfied! Thank you! Hope to make this a tradition! Thank you!! Very satisfied!!

I had Christmas brunch here with my family and it was the absolute best experience. The food went on forever. Soooo many choices and everything was delicious. The service was outstanding, everyone working was so nice and they went out of there way to be unbelievably kind to my 2 young kids. I can t recommend this place enough, the foods great, and the restaurant in general has the coolest atmosphere!!! Also the dessert selection . WOW!!! The effort that went into everything was amazing. We will be back for sure! Kid-friendliness: The staff were amazing, I could say a million great things. The kindest people there.

Went there today for New Years Day brunch. The food was excellent , no complaints whatsoever. Service was great and the price very reasonable

I came with my team, waited about two hours to get our food.

Food took forever to come out. Waited for just about 3 hours.

Waited 3 hours after being seated to get and pay for our food even though we had a reservation. Poor service with no acknowledgment or apology from the staff. Paid full price for the meal without consideration to discount for the major inconvenience.

I just ordered from you guys on skip, and wow!!! Whoever s in the kitchen tonight is worth their weight in gold. Thank for the excellent delivery meal it s hard to find around this city.

Cosy place for breakfast, brunch and lunch!! Easy to get to because it is right inside the hotel makes it very convenient.

First time going to their Sunday Buffet brunch. Good selection of food, entertaining to watch the chef make the crepe and omelettes. The chocolate fountain fondue and variety of dessert selections are great. Adults and kids can enjoy this experience. Lots of seating space. Great first time experience, will definitely go again when we go to visit Saskatoon.

First time going. Was not impressed. Sat down. Orded the drinks , asked for 2 coffees 2 orange pop and a diet pepsi. Waited about 10 minutes. Delivered from a second server. Coffees were lukewarm, got 2 orange juices instead of the pop. Then got told they had no orange pop. Asked a different server to get hotter coffees came back with the same coffees. Had to wait for the fresh coffees third server came took our food order. Waited a while as they were busy, It was understandable. Food arrived from a different server, she needed ask where the plates were to go. No consistency for having 1 server. - for service

Great hotel with charming greenery!

Sunday Brunch has gone downhill. I was waiting for my omelette to be made at the omelette station and the workers refilled the eggs using an egg carton that expired on April 21, 2023 and I attended brunch on July 30, 2023. The omelette worker also where I was from and if I was born in Canada. I told him my ancestors are from China but I was born in Canada. He also asked if I spoke mandarin and I told him I did not. As I was leaving he called out Arigato gozaimasu and I was taken aback. The sausage from breakfast was undercooked and gross and the food was bland. Definitely not worth $32 a person. Everyone at our table only had two plates of food. The service was good though, nothing to complain about. They were prompt with getting our drinks and taking away our plates.

Nice place it s pretty but it took a really long time for us to get our food and the eggs weren t portioned properly and the pancakes were uncooked inside. On top of that the staff had a bad costumer service.

We went as a group for the luncheon buffet. The buffet looked lovely but the beef was too tough to cut with a knife, much less chew it, the gravy extremely salty, the creamed salads were pretty tasteless, the mac and cheese too salty to eat, the pieces of broccoli in the salad were massive, could have been cut into smaller pieces, the coconut raspberry dessert was so sweet you couldnt eat it, the pumpkin pie was rubber and tasteless. Im not sure what the dessert topping was but it couldnt have been whipped cream as it was hard and rubbery. We were all pretty disappointed in the meal, although the staff were lovely and attentive. And one person really liked the pulled pork.

Went for Christmas dinner - not buffet, and only a single item on the menu (turkey with all the traditional fixings) but choice of appetizer and dessert. Reasonably priced, fast and polite service, and the food was excellent.

I hope the daily lunch buffet will eventually return to what it was pre covid. I was last there March 21, 2022 and was pretty disappointed. The price most definitely does not reflect what is offered. Ill leave my 5 star rating in memory of what once was and in hopes of your lunch buffet returning to its former glory.

Great mothers day buffet. Unfortunately, we made what we thought was a reservation for 1230. We got there at 1225 and the line up took us 45 minutes to get through...? Uh, not how other restaurants treat reservations... In my experiences

Very few options. Nothing for special diets. Food was dry, burnt char, and without flavour.

Awful. The bacon my daughter got was underdone to the point where she almost choked, when was sent back, it was obvious they threw it in the fryer. The food was cold, everything was dry, tasteless. Our table was sticky when we got it, the only thing that was consistent was the coffee refills. Had to ask for cutlery and remind on the drinks that was forgotten. The restaurant wasn t busy, 5 other tables.

Cant beat the decor, it always feels like going on vacation just being in there. Great service. Food is okay too.

This place was the worst service I have had on a very long time. We stayed the hotel which was ok. We came down for breakfast on Sunday morning at 10 their was 6 of us We got told that we should have made reservations and that we had to sit in a tight area with two little tables. Took 20 mins to get coffee cause we were too big of a group we were told. Than had to wait get a refills. The food was ok but took a very long time for it to come.

Omg! The shrimp here is so awesome after four of us ate two orders, got another to go!! Service is beyond excellent! Loved our server, he was so nice!

Since covid, their menu has gotten a lot shorter, understandably. However, the food, service, and atmosphere is as great as ever. This is our go to breakfast date location.

Mediocre brunch, especially for the price.

The space remains visually pleasing and mostly accessible for wheelchairs (users should use side door, as the main entrance is an uncomfortably steep slope. Atmosphere is nice unless you are sensitive to chlorine. Changes to menu have reduced gluten free options below acceptable. Regular Sunday buffet is underwhelming for the price. Waffle / crepe / dessert area is not accessible, requiring a step up. Regular menu ordering is fine, but nothing to get excited over.

I love this place! Service is great :) My waitress even remembered us and our drinks (a month later!) I love the food here as well and they have super yummy caesars.

I will preface this review by saying: 1) Im not a person who generally goes out of my way to leave bad reviews 2) I have eaten here one time prior to this experience and it was good However, I would advise against going on a stat holiday as it seemed to me they were short staffed as to not have to stat pay to too many staff. I also would NOT recommend ordering the Meazers (ceaser with a food slider on top). We ordered 3 meazers and an iced tea, no additional food. We waited 15 minutes just to order, we were there 55 minutes and hadnt had our waters topped up and had to flag someone down to get out server to ask about our drink order! Somewhere between the server and the kitchen our order appeared to be missed. Our server made a lot of excuses that didnt make sense and 10 minutes after that, we got one of our drinks. The other 2 came as just a ceaser without the food. When the food finally came, it was visibly very burned and cold. The flavors were just ok but ultimately bland from what we tasted before we sent it back. The ceasers were good but one had what appeared to be cherry chunks in the bottom, maybe thats how they make them? When we asked to talk to the manager, he said they werent expecting to be so busy ( there were 2 larger groups and one small table besides us). He was polite and did take off a portion of our bill. I was a server and I understand that mistakes happen but it was the lack of accountability that really frustrated us. It was laughable to wait over an hour to have a drink and and a couple bites of terrible good just to be met with excuses. The restaurant being understaffed doesnt seem like it should be made to be my problem. Ultimately, our evening was pretty ruined by the poor experience and our daughter didnt get to go swimming because by the time we finished dealing with this all she had to go to bed. I hear good things about the brunch though.

Yikes! We attended the Mother s Day Brunch here, it was a disaster. To me it s one of the best place to get a brunch buffet until today. They wanted to include everyone! Soo because of this the lines for everything were crazy, we spent 30-45 mins in line the first time to get food. You only get an hour and half at your table and then someone comes by to tell you that you only have about 20 minutes left. It was super expensive, we didn t get to enjoy our food, or check out all the cool food areas they had like the poutine and perogy bar because there was just too many people. I left hungry, and mad that I had spent $50, and wasn t really sure on what.

It was a disaster! Made reservation for mothers day. They were 1 HOUR LATE. There was a long queue just to give them the reservation code and another long wait for the table. Twice we were given wrong table. They have overbooked hoping for profit. The place was so noisy and looked like a marketplace. Unable to enjoy meal.

Food took forever and wasnt even warm when we got it. Our server was Jesse and expressed our concerns and didnt say a thing to rectify the situation, just walked away. Never came back. Wont be returning. Very disappointing
