Probably the best food I have had in sasaktoon. Would highly recommend the four course meal. Great price

Food was good although not overly large portions. Service was excellent. We were sitting near the door which was cool but it was quite cold out.

Service was terrible. Food came out cold. Appetizers came to the table after mains. Wait times were excessive. Waited 30 mins plus for bills and they were all the wrong bills. No manager was on shift on a Saturday night to discuss any issues. First time experiencing Odla for my whole 7 person group and it is safe to say none of us will go back again. Very disappointing experience, and we were all looking forward to it unfortunately.

Absolutely awful experience at Odla. Had a reservation for 7 for my friends birthday and from the time we walked in to the time we left it just got worse and worse. Took a long time for our server to come take a drink order, and an even longer time to come back to take food order. We asked for their bread as an appetizer and it never came, we were sitting with empty drinks for a long time before having to flag the server down, only for her to take one persons drink order and run off. The food took extremely long to come out and everything came ice cold which made many of the dishes not as pleasant, and the bread appetizer was the last thing on the table. We were there for almost 3 hours and only got 2 drinks, and when asked for our bills it took 40 minutes for us to receive them, and many were incorrect so was almost an hour long process to get our bills and pay. Would never return.

odla was genuinely the best dining experience I ve ever had in Saskatoon. The food was like nothing I ve had before, every dish was so unique and you can really tell it s farm to table. Jason gave top tier service and Rowan made bangin drinks behind the bar. First time and I will be coming back again and again!

For a special occasion we tried Odla for the first time , and we will definitely be going back! We wanted to try something different and chose the four course chef s menu with wine pairings. It was one of the most wonderful meals we ve had in Saskatoon this year. From the homemade sourdough and butter infused with honey to the divine cacio e Pepe gnocchi, to the melt in your mouth short rib with savoury crispy onions, followed by a decadent chocolate cake with sour cherries, these are just a sampling of the taste sensations we had. The wine was also superbly chosen and we appreciated the staff explaining the nuances of each dish and wine pairing before each course. We love the family style dining and my only recommendation was that our table was a little cramped in the corner right next to another one (which made it difficult to have conversations)- though I noted much more spacious options elsewhere in the space.

We did the 4 course pairings dinner. It was absolutely excellent. Superb service, and perfect pairings with each dish. My Mom is celiac and mentioned she finally didn t feel like she was missing out. I highly recommend for those who appreciate the experience of fine dining. Highly recommend!

My favorite place to eat in Saskatoon. Our server, Justin, was attentive and friendly and engaging. Love that. The dinner, as always, exquisite. Locally sourced, fantastic taste, interesting combinations, and the best old fashion (drink) imaginable. Highly recommend this gem on Broadway.

Farm fresh to not sure what the atmosphere was doing honestly. Farm fresh menu with a menu that screams diversity. Farm fresh is also farm foods and in saying that i settled on the pork schnitzel with goat cream cheese. Poorly tenderized pork battered in panko, with chunks of a goat cheese. Hey listen, they served a deep fried panko cutlette razor sharp and not a farm fresh gravy to dull the panko razor bredding. If diversity had a menu this is what itd be. Go woke go broke, go back to the farm and learn how to make gravy ...

Had an incredible evening at Odla! I highly highly recommend this restaurant for an unforgettable dining experience. The food was phenomenal, the server s attention to detail and engagement was fantastic, the restaurant was beautiful it truly is a gem in Saskatoon!!! Order the carrots, chips and dip, brussel sprouts and the fish! The Saskatoon berry pie was incredible too. Highly recommended!

Wow, Odla on Broadway has to be my favorite meal since moving to Saskatoon. The ambiance reminds me of home where chic eateries are commonplace and many restaurants feature whisk(e)y menus. The playlist inside featured many songs from the South which we dug a lot. My wife had the penicillin cocktail and she really liked it, the JP Wiser 18 was one of my first Canadian pours. The farm to table concept is on point and every bite we had fantastic. We will definitely be back.

Weve been about 4 times now and every time the service has been excellent. Weve had Jason as our server twice and he is so personable and attentive. We appreciate that the food is local. We can taste the difference. Highly recommend the Chefs Choice 4 course meal. We always order it and have always loved it. It is about 3 hours from start to finish. Its a real treat.

In my opinion, definitely a trendy, preppy restaurant. We all ordered appetizers. Tge restuarant was NOT BUSY. The potato chips were good, not greasy. The onion rings(6) were very good, but the honey mustard sauce was uneventful. A 6 year old could have whipped that up. Sorry, do not remember the 3rd one. The 3 meals came, and, I was looking for the rest of the meal. The full order of pork tenderloin wasnt as big as a deck of cards. It was tasty, but, I wouldnt write home about it. The stuffed pasta, wasnt about the tabledpoon size. Just 1 piece nothing else. The 3rd meal was the small order of trout. Yep, you figured it out, the piece of fish was, again, smaller than a deck of cards, and about 1/2 as thick. It was to be accompanied by some charred broccoli. I extremely small( as big as my thumb nail). There was another piece of something, I think deep fried and unrecognizable. Edible, but no taste. All of these entrees were served on a bread(side) plate. I did not see a dinner plate anywhere. So you can imagine the size of portions. Some of us had baked Alaska, and it was tasty. Price of food......2/5 stars. Quantity of food ....1/5 Ambience.......3/5 laid back and casual Service........3/5 not fast(blame it on kitchen) Taste.........2/5 I will probably never go back again. Certainly not the type of restuarant I would recommend to my friends. Trendy, preppy, all the rage at the moment, type restuarant, where food portions are small, prices are large, and taste is middle of the road. Not overly lit, and the restuarant was a very wide open style. They did have 1 room set off to the side. Mostly tables on the sides, and 3 or 4 booths.

The flavours were good. Unfortunately not enough to overcome the negative experience of the small portion sizes and the hour wait to get the food to the table. We bought 22$ of table bread to get us through to when the main courses arrived. Price was ok but we arrived hungry and the very small portion sizes was a definite disappointment that we did not get over. The chicken entree had not more than 3oz of leg meat for $25. We had to go to eat again afterwards. This is not a restaurant for hungry people. It s more of a tasting place. We will not be back.

Service was incredibly slow. Waited 15 minutes for the server to even come to our table to greet us. Then another hour to get our food. Asked for brussel sprouts to start, but they didn t bring them until our entrée. Ordered the chicken. It was a small portion - to be expected- but was just sour on sour flavour-wise. Food was not worth the wait. This was Monday evening with a reservation.

My wife and I went to Odla for her birthday dinner. Ill split this review into two parts: food and service. 1. Food We opted for a multi-course meal and ordered the following in sequence: the burrata with focaccia and chips/dip, the onion rings and bao buns, and the steak frites. I admire their commitment to sourcing locally, but we found most of their dishes fairly simple and poorly balanced. The food was, frankly, bland. Take the burrata dish, for example. The cheese was nicely supple and mild, but the beet vinaigrette it was paired with was much the same. It sat on a bed of greens with pistachio, resulting in a dish that had little flavor without the focaccia, which you must order as an extra. The chips were uneventful; they tasted like any other plain potato chip, though the crème fraîche was good. The onion rings were well done and likely the best dish of the night. We ordered the lamb bao buns on our servers recommendation but found them disappointing. The beet was overpowering, even with the spiced lamb, and the dish lacked complexity. Lastly, and perhaps most disappointing, was the steak frites. Hanger steak can be an incredibly tender and flavorful cut, so I was shocked at how badly it was prepared. The meat was tough and under-seasoned, sitting underneath the blandest chimichurri Ive ever eaten. This was coupled with some shoestring fries that, again, were nothing special. I wish some of the salt on the fries had made its way to the steak. 2. Service We didnt experience the late or delayed service mentioned in other recent reviews. Our server was prompt and well-paced, which was appreciated. However, I had made it clear during our reservation that this was a birthday dinner for my wife and that I was happy to pay extra for something special, whether a dish or drink, to commemorate it. I was disappointed when there wasnt even a mention of her birthday; nothing special was done. We had high hopes for Odla, and really like the concept, but wont be back again anytime soon.

Spent a birthday dinner here as I previously had a good experience at Odla and the new menu is interesting. Food was good, nothing really to write home about but service was reallllllly subpar. Barely any eye contact, no charm, or conversation at all. Honestly just go to Hearth if you want to have a good time in Saskatoon. Sorry Odla, I liked ya but probably a pass for a bit.

Overpriced for the portions served. Food was good but the portion sizes were more samplers than shares! Server was very friendly.

I ordered 1 espresso martini and got 2 and proceeded to order 1 corona and got 2, the pasta tastes like hamburger helper, as a food connoisseur I recommend subway around the corner.

$85 4 course meal (although you share the 1st and 4th course, which they conveniently leave out!) featuring a medium rare steak with a side of terrible service. We waited an hour for an appetizer to come out.

My wife and I attended the New Years dinner last evening. I do not typically review, but I think this needed to be said. We arrived 15 min early for a 1830 seating. The hostess was great and was happy to seat us prior to our reservation. It was a course meal that required pre payment and gratuity. Throughout the seating we were perpetually told apologies, we are running behind on tickets, but youre next. No big deal right? I can understand that. Our food was reasonable , as expected. When the dessert came the server promptley said, Im going to need you to hurry up as we have another seating. I nearly spit my drink out. It took everything in my soul to not say anything. In his next breath, he stated he will bring the bill and that the pre paid 20% gratuity did not cover the drinks, so he added it. Lol. At some point, service and quality mean something-seems to be a lost art these days?.Do not advertise the trendy farm to table high end market without providing it. Please understand that myself and wife felt emberassed. We left the dessert. What a New Years experience Odla. Thanks? Next time just ask for a donation.

ODLA is my favorite restaurant in Saskatoon for a consistent, fresh, farm to table meal! We love to spend special occasions here. It is expensive, but you are guaranteed a delicious meal that is of high quality. The meals feel home cooked but gives complex flavors. By far the best Saskatoon has to offer!

Lovely and accommodating of large groups with adequate advanced notice. Great food. Good music playlist. Nice bathrooms.

I strongly recommend this place for family dinners. The Chefs Plate was excellent value for the cost. We had one vegetarian in our group and they made sure that every course had a vegetarian option. The food was delicious and very filling. I think we were on our second course when we were all looking at each other, saying, I dont think I can eat any more! They paced the courses really well, though, which was great because we had about 3 hours of uninterrupted time to just eat and enjoy ourselves. My father, who is a chef, said that the pork was one of the best hed ever had. The server was very funny and charming.

We had the chefs choice meal and we loved everything from the food to the wine pairings to the service. An excellent experience all around.

Simply fantastic! I started with the garden beet salad, followed by a main course of pork schnitzel with potatoes and carrots and lastly, chocolate pate for dessert. The beet salad was excellent, with a tangy carrot vinaigrette, crunchy sourdough croutons, tender micro greens, zesty mustard pickled onions and a luxurious dollop of herbed goat cheese spread. The interplay between the various textures and flavours left me wanting more. The pork schnitzel had a beautiful crust outside and nicely seasoned, tender pork inside. The new potatoes and carrots and roasted broccoli were all perfectly cooked. Everything went well with the generous splashes of bbq jus and pat of smoked yogurt. So good! Lastly, the chocolate pate was very thick and chocolatey indeed, with a nice topping of crunchy sponge toffee and flavorful chunks of strawberry. The silky side portion of creme fraiche tied every bite together. I was glad there wasnt too much of it, because it was very rich. All in all, everything tasted perfect, with harmonious earthy flavours and expert use of different textures. The serving sizes were just right as well. Our server was attentive and friendly and the atmosphere struck me as upscale, yet at the same time very unpretentious and casual. All in all, I would recommend Odla to anyone seeking a wonderful, fresh meal. You will not be disappointed.

I ve been to Odla a handful of times and always enjoyed my experience but I recently treated out of town clients to the chefs choice (plus wine pairings) and we had a 12/10 experience. Every dish was intentional and nothing was left over at the end. Thank you John for the incredible service! My new business dinner go-to, 100%.

The service was incredible. All our questions were answered and helped us to choose delicious meals. We wanted to share a few plates and they helped us figure out the best quantities to start out our night. The food was delicious, unique, and beautifully presented. Dietary restrictions: Options for gluten free were clearly indicated on the menu. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful.

My gluten free friend and I went her for Sunday brunch. Tyler was our server, he was awesome and so was our food. I got what I think what was called the BBQ Hash . It was thoughtfully put together, well balanced, and delicious.

This was my favorite meal that I had all week during my visit to Saskatoon. Highly recommended! I will be dining here in the future and I have a feeling it will be essential to have at least one meal here every trip. Food and service were both outstanding!

We really enjoyed our meals here. Though the printed menu may not change too much over time, listen carefully to the specials, which are often unique, interesting, and delicious! And their cocktail and wine options are broad and varied. In summer you can sit outside and enjoy the Broadway bustle, if you like.

Sorry Odla. Your simple breakfast. Salad? A deep fried hash brown. 2 poorly executed over easy eggs. One big overly sweet sausage. A what can only be described as a mutilated burnt single piece of toast. 21 bucks. My daughter did find the breakfast poutine good but the price to quality was way off. Service was good. A bit slow on the coffee refill. Not much of an Easter brunch.

I have eaten at Odla a handful of times over the past two years and my review is mixed. There are several aspects that always remain consistently great: the cocktails, dessert and the atmosphere. The food aside from dessert, I find hit and miss. I find the specials and chefs choice are always best while some of the menu items are lacking in taste and presentation for the price. The service is also quite inconsistent. NYE service was exceptional, but recently when dining with a few girlfriends, I felt like a burden to the server and she was visibly annoyed when I asked for a substitution due to allergies. The atmosphere is lovely and aesthetically, Odla is one of my favourite spots in the city.

Superb! One of my best meals in a long time! I was visiting from Calgary, this was my third visit and once again Odla wowed me. I tasted a few things, the burger had such a lovely charbroiled flavour, and is possibly the best burger I ve tasted, with the freshest fries! The gnocchi in a blue cheese cream sauce with apple was such a nice surprise! Delightful! Don t skip out on dessert!

In 2021: Dined at Odla over the weekend. This was the best dining experience that I have had in Saskatoon. The food was incredible, bursting with flavors. The service was exceptional, the staff were knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. I highly recommend this restaurant, Saskatoon finally has a fine-dining option. Updated: unfortunately this restaurant has really gone downhill since the first visit I had there. The quality of their food is nowhere near as good as it was when they first opened. The dishes have minimal flavour, and they pickle many things now. Additionally, the service has gone downhill the staff are always friendly but they are not prompt and seem to forget about their guests after seating/serving the dinner.

Yesterday we went to Odla to celebrate a special occasion. We chose to do the Chef s Choice with the wine pairing. It was incredible. The pairings perfectly matched with the dishes. The food was unique and flavourful. The service was excellent. I highly recommended trying it. It was pricy but worth it.

We dined June 5th and the waitress was apathetic with zero interest in providing quality service. Her behaviour was condescending and arrogant, ruining the experience. Food was great and cocktails were amazing!

Food was some of the best Ive had in Saskatoon. Well thought out dishes, great flavour combos, love the concept, and good portion sizes. The Service was....uncomfortable. Definitely didnt match the quality of the food and atmosphere. Kind of felt unwanted. No server seemed very happy to be there. Definitely not what youd expect from a fairly high end place. Probably wont go back, which is a shame because I really liked the food.

A unique experience! Very Swedish farm vibes with ABBA in the background (I loved it). Had the eggs benny (no surprise there) and it was scrumptious. The eggs were perfect. Wish the mimosa was a bit more alcohol forward. I really enjoyed and will be back. Server was low key and checked in at all the right times.

Waitress was not friendly and did not ask how the food was or anything else. Food was very disappointing. Very expensive for what you get. will not return.

The wine was mediocre, the two dishes I had were insubstantial and not tasty enough to rationalize the small portion (had the smoked trout and pickerel), my waitress came by maybe twice over my meal, and I had to get the table wiped because it was too dirty (basic stuff). I sat there just sort of wondering if they wanted money for the things they had for sale as I genuinely was not even asked if I wanted refills, more of anything etc. I worked in hospitality for a decade in Vancouver and if you ran a restaurant like this out there, youd be done in a month. Its too bad because the concept is cool, the music was nice, the patio is pretty decent, and they have a nice decor inside. Just the food was bland and the service was garbage. I even tried to pay just to get it over with and they took 20 minutes to get my bill. Eventually, I just walked in and paid the hostess to get the ordeal finished. There were about 8 people working front of house with maybe 5 tables too which makes me think their busy night must be even worse.

A party of two, we waited 30 minutes to get appetizers and after one hour of waiting our main course ( a burger and pulled pork) didn t come. They said 5 minutes, but I wish the staff in the restaurant was more transparent with their clients. Yes, we left to find dinner in a better place.

This is a beautiful decorated farm to kitchen dining option on Broadway. Thats indoor and outdoor seating options and a chilled ambience. The service here was friendly. Prices were ok. They have some interesting cocktail options. I had the pasta special, which is great value. It was ok, not standout. Although I did have amazing pasta the day before; this dish didnt stack up. It was an enjoyable experience overall.

Trout tartare was a great new discovery. Excellent cocktail selection. The fish was perfectly done. Knowledgeable wait staff. Loved the background music from Sloan to Tori Amos. Cool spot. A new Saskatoon favourite...Will be back.

First visit. Interesting brunch menu. The food was really good but the coffee was really terrible this time.

We were lucky enough to have Odla cater our wedding. We met directly with the managers responsible for our event to iron out the details and so they could ensure to deliver exactly what we had in mind the day of the wedding a few weeks prior to the wedding. We were also able to communicate easily with the manager via a workspace portal and all of our questions and concerns were addressed professionally and promptly which was very appreciated. Both managers were also present the day of our wedding and everything went so well. We were beyond pleased with service and the food. Our meal was a family style meal which was so lovely and allowed our guests to stay seated and enjoy the company of one another while being served amazing looking and tasting food in a timely manner. Odla was able to provide us with menu cards for each place setting which was a very cool touch for us and our guests. The food was excellent, full stop. Not just good for a wedding. our guests were so impressed by the food. We felt as though we were able to truly showcase the best Saskatoon and Saskatchewan have to offer to our guests by choosing Odla to cater which was very important to us. Thank you to everyone at Odla who helped make our wedding meal everything we could have hoped for and more. I would 10/10 recommend working with odla for your next event, and 10/10 recommend the restaurant for your next meal.

We went to Odla for the very first time and our waitress left us waiting for +20 minutes. Fortunately, another waitress apologized to us and payed for our drinks in compensation. It was a very kind detail! Other than that, the atmosphere is very special. The plants make you feel quite relaxed. The food was incredibly good.

Food, drinks and atmosphere always great. However, the last two times weve been stuck with the same rude waitress. No interest in helping our niece navigate the menu with her allergies, where previously, waiters here have gone through item by item with us (new to us menu this trip). Absolutely perplexes me how otherwise phenomenal businesses keep rude people in their employ. Every other employee is beyond amazing, in fact, we think the best waiter in the city works here but cannot recall his name.

Best restaurant I ve been to in years!! Fresh farm to table food with complex flavours in every dish. Mouthwatering and delicious. Had the chefs choice meal for four people. Can t recommend it enough as you get to taste multiple dishes on the menu. Great portions with delicious pairings. From a previous restaurant owner only serving homemade food, I find it a rare occurrence to recommend any restaurant for their quality of food. This is definitely one of them!! Worth the money!!! Saskatoon has a lot of really good for Saskatoon options. Odla is one of the world class excellent selections. I ve been blown away by how delicious their options are, the excellent service, and amazing cocktails. Blue cheese polenta? Whoa. Amazing. Gnocchi with hazelnuts (and I am a keep nuts away from my food person), wonderful. Serve up that crunch. I ve lived in Vancouver, Turin, and Dubai. I d recommend Odla every time. Yum. Priced based on quality. Well worth it.

My mate from out West came to visit. We ate. I was so full going in. The Negroni helped. Divine. We drank. And our ever so kind and humorous server let us stay until the patio was cleaned even though the restaurant closed an half hour ago. Its those damn, tasty negronies, delicious foods and drink and marvelous company. And he footed the bill! I owe him next time, because we will be back. Thank you!

I have been to Odla many times. It is one of our favourite restaurants. Tonight s experience was so disappointing. The service was poor, and incredibly slow. The meals didn t come out together. It took a long time to even get drinks, while staff stood around talking. Some dishes were great but several had no flavour. Had things not taken so long we likely would have sent a couple of the meals back. Also, we watched the server charge the 20% gratuity to the table next to us even though it was only 5 adults and a baby. The server said 6 seats means an automatic 20% gratuity. Overall an incredibly disappointing experience for one of our most loved restaurants.

You can taste the love This farm to table restaurant experience really hit the spot in satisfying the brunch cravings. When we arrived we were enthusiastically greeted by Tye. He confirmed our open table reservation, preference to be seated at the bar and kindly and promptly sat us. Bob the bartender was also in the know in regards to our preferences and was ready to with a plethora of vegan and vegetarian options to share with us. 10/10 on cocktail quality and presentation! Fresh squeezed juices, hand crafted garnishes and all the correct glassware. They really know what there doing there. The owner Lacy has the exceptional attention to detail, required to execute a possible memorable brunch experience. Worth the drive to Saskatoon!

Food was absolutely delicious. So fresh and flavourful. Our server, John, made really good recommendations. The gnocchi with added smoked trout was outstanding. The mix of flavours and textures was just so incredibly done. The wine selection was also really good. Service was warm and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Celebrating an anniversary we tried odla for the first time. Decor and ambiance 10/10. Menu was interesting and looking back I would ve opted for some of the starters. Hubby had the chicken leg very good flavours but the sousvide chicken was rubbery. My pickerel was tasty but the dish was cold. For $39 and $35 I expected it to be warm at least. Didn t catch the servers name as we weren t ordering more beverages. Overall 7/10.

Very underwhelming. They may buy their ingredients from the farm but they dont let them speak. Sauce on a 44 dollar steak? BBQ sauce on carrots? Maybe Im simply not civilized enough to understand the mental gymnastics it takes to decide thats better than simple dishes, maybe Id prefer to continue my path of savagery. Server was good, drinks were good, but Ive had better Swanson TV dinners and thats a low bar.

The atmosphere was wonderful, but the food left a fair bit to be desired. My dish (gnocchi) came luke warm and was not particularly tasty. My partner had the pickerel which she found bland and rubbery. Our friends had food they liked more than we did, but only 1 of the 6 people at our table thought their meal was particularly tasty. Portions are small, in keeping with what you tend to get at this price point. Service was fine. Overall our meal was a let down. At 30-40$ a plate for a meal that isnt enough food to fill a normal person up, the taste needs to be really good to command that kind of cost. Sadly, this wasnt it, at least for me.

hard to rate a place 1 when you did not receive service. *i will mention this did take place in September * decided to try a new place with my mom. we arrived to be slightly ignored and almost an inconvenience to the hostess. i know how reservations work but when i was the place was empty, it was empty and it was like 4:30. we were asked if we were okay with patio, which we were. we were sat, given menus, and luke warm water that was already sitting in a pitcher outside. we sat for over 20 mintues without absolutely no one coming by. we went back inside, still empty and employees on the floor were lounging around talking. we said we are just gonna leave, and not one person batt an eye or said sorry to hear anything. we received an ok back and they continued their conversation. employees were stuck up and honestly wouldn t even give the place a second chance.

Our server, Jason, brought out the food and part of the order came out incorrect (cross contamination). Then brought the food back and the pickerel was cold. We were unable to alert him until much later as he never came to check on how the meal was. Later on, I had to ask him to clear our dirty plates. Then, when the bill came the food that was wrong and coke was not removed from the bill. When asked to remove, he argued saying it took a minute when in reality the issue would have been dealt with had we had an attentive server (which there was as we saw the other one tending to his tables). Based on the recent reviews, doesn t seem like this is a new issue and I hope new customers don t just read the 5 star reviews and attend here.

From Ontario, with love. Good food shines in Saskatoon. The people behind it, moreso. Should you find yourself hungry and in good company (or not) in Saskatoon, my culinary suggestion is firmly Odla. I am leaving a 5 star review to affirm this firmness. What does it take to deliver good food, an ever evolving menu and service that only the best food locations can compete with? These are certainly winning qualities of Odla. But it is most certainly the people behind the talent. When you sit down and enjoy a home cooked meal, or your favorite meal, you know it is made for you based on the previous subsequent consistent memories or experiences. Those moments stacked on top of each other build confidence. Odla is layered with confident flavours that have been planned, paired and curated for enjoyment. If you are a deep dive diner, that is to say someone who enjoys how food plays and what culinary rules arent obeyed, Odla is a place for your intrigue to stay. Each season brings new opportunities for culinary experiments and salivating adventures to begin. The depth of your curiosity determines where it ends. The enjoyment of good food from farm to table at Odla is (possibly) endless. Kudos to the complete body of operations. From the dishwasher in the back, to culinary personnel, to the hosts and hostesses in the front, to the culinary service experts, to the bartending team. Time and time again, the whole body of staff delivered an enjoyable experience during my time in Saskatoon which resulted in my multiple returns. My food suggestion would be to get the pickerel dish. At the time of this reading, I am unsure of how it may be plated but it is the quintessential definition of a finely cooked fish. It weighs well on the tongue and melts in its palette and is always in good company amongst locally sourced produce of the season. In short, I liked it and I think you will too. Give Olda a try. Went 1pm on a Friday, know one else in the resteraunt. However, our waitress was wonderful. The food was amazing. Highly recommend. They also brought me a free birthday dessert without showing any ID. humble, relaxed atmosphere.

Another incredible spot in Saskatoon. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive and exactly what you expect in high quality service establishments. The food parallels the service. Every bite was a full flavour mouthful! This isnt a generic restaurant. Each dish is a curated design by the chef. I also tried the cocktails there, and the drinks match the dishes. Again unique thought was put into the house cocktails. Housemade ingredients are used to create truly one of a kind offerings. Was a great experience and we are looking forward to returning.

Really enjoyed our first visit to Odla! Food options are carefully picked and taste amazing! Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Our party of 7 had both main menu and brunch meals picked and they looked great! All of us enjoyed their meals! Like the fact the ingredients come from a local farm by Vanscoy. Design of this place is truly beautiful and super cozy! I doubt any girl wouldn t like going for a date here. Enjoyed the visit and will be coming back!

The ultimate farm-to-table restaurant. Its literally co-owned by farmers, and their meat is served at the restaurant. Ingredients come from within Saskatchewan, if not within 200 miles of Saskatoon. Every meal is delicious, made with love, and every experience is a great one!

What a fantastic place. My wife and I ordered 6 different things and one was better than the other. Standouts were the scotch egg and the brussel sprout side dish, but everything was great. One of the few places where I cant say I can make that myself. The best place in Saskatoon and one the best places I have been to, period. Great staff too, really worth going.

My wife and I went to Odla tonight for our 5th year anniversary. I could not be more happy with our whole experience. We opted for the Chefs choice which included a family style 4 course meal. I would highly suggest if you go to Odla you do the same. Its amazing getting to try so many different dishes. We also got to try dishes that were out of our comfort zone or which we would not typically order. We were so pleased with all the dishes. They were unique, methodically thought out, and of course delicious. All of the veggies and ingredients were very fresh and such high quality. I cannot wait to return with others so they can experience this wonderful restaurant !

Ive been to Odla a handful of times since theyve opened but usually for lunch as its close to workplace. However, my wife and I have gone twice in the last month. Our first time for dinner was okay but not the greatest, cocktails were great, I had the Maize Well and she had their take on a martini. We both had the gnocchi, to which we added fried chicken to, for dinner. Gnocchi was different (in a good way) but food was quite slow to make it to the table. Service was very awkward. I dont think we saw our server smile even once; very grouchy and very short with us. She didnt even say a single word as she took our payment. Kind of spoiled the night and we decided it might be a while before we came back. Coincidentally, our friend decided to have their birthday dinner at Odla the next week. We are glad we went back, we tried more cocktails and a few different appetizers, all of which were great. Jason was our tables server this time and was phenomenal; great recommendations and a great attitude! We will definitely be back soon!

Long wait for pricy food that wasnt completely cooked. We both had very upset stomachs within 30 mins of eating here. Heard so many great things but we are definitely disappointed. Wont be back Dietary restrictions: They are pretty open about asking for any restrictions. Parking: Be prepared to walk a ways. Theres about 7 parking stalls in the lot to share between 3 businesses the rest is broadway street parking. Always full. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant itself is fairly open and a wheelchair should be ok coming in, its just parking and getting there that would be an issue.

The food was good, the service was very attentive and the place is nice. If you are looking for a place to celebrate an occasion this will be the place you are looking for even if you dont expect to pay little.

Food was simply perfect. Light & flavorful with a killer drink menu. Staff was amazing.

Each dish was delicious. We tried the roasted vegetables with roasted hazelnuts and brown butter. The nuts were the perfect touch. We had the sliced cucumbers which were creamy and refreshing. Then we got the chicken schnitzel. The chicken was cooked to perfection. Crispy but not dried out. The service was excellent. Only critique would have their water chilled or with ice as on hot days, that would have topped everything off. Definitely recommend this place!

Great experience! Elevated dining in a cool vibe which is exactly what we wanted. The hibiscus margarita, trout ceviche tacos, gnocchi, and pavlova were all incredible. Reasonably priced for the quality of food. Service was a bit slow, but we didn t mind because of the relaxed atmosphere - it s not the type of place I would want to be in & out of quickly anyways.

A wonderful restaurant on Broadway. We had a gluten intolerant and a lactose intolerant member in our party and they were really able to accommodate both of them. The food was delicious. We had the chicken sandwich, pork dish, and the grilled trout meals. Everyone was satisfied with their meal, especially the celiac member that had agreed on to her meal some fried chicken as she had not been able to have fried chicken in years due to her gluten intolerance.

The best place ever in Stoon. Food was just right, just great. Not too saucey, not too sweet, not too salty. Would definitely come back again.

Elegant cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Quality locally produced food. Gourmet but doesnt break the bank. Very friendly.

Our waiter was amazing. The food was soooo good. I love that they use locally sourced products.

My partner and I went during Nuit Blanche. Everywhere else was busy and line ups and we should have known by this. Odla was empty. We had a drink and appy. Toast was burnt and scraped off featured appetizer could have come out of a box. So disappointed. Waiter never asked how things were during or while bill was being paid. Wont be back and will let friends and family know to go elsewhere.

This was the best meal Ive had in a very long time. The service was great, the food was awesome, and the atmosphere was cool. Its expensive, but well worth it.

Kid-friendliness: We were pleasantly surprised with the reception of our 8 month old granddaughter. Staff were very accommodating. We were there quite early in the evening, we didnt want to bother other diners. Food was great! Espresso martini was excellent!

This is an up-and-coming restaurant in Saskatoon. We brought a larger group in for dinner. It ended being an unusually long wait but thankfully, the cocktails were very good. The appetizers were stellar but the main courses - especially the pork - were a huge miss. I will try them again in the future but the last experience was just ok for me.

Great local food, try the Chef s Choice with wine pairing.

Ambience was pleasant, but the food/wine and service left much to be desired. Ive been serving for 15 years and enjoy wine regularly myself; the house wine my friend ordered was very acidic and vinegary. We flagged down an employee to let them know the wine was off, and our server returned with the same glass of wine, stating that shed tried the bottle when she first opened it, and the wine tasted exactly as it should. Our option was to drink it or dump it, but we would be paying for it regardless. *cue dumbfounded look on both our faces*. When others might have walked out, we decided to stick it out and order food and replace the unpleasant wine with a cocktail. My cocktail and the replacement cocktail were both good. We let our server know that the new cocktail was much better than the initial glass of house wine, to which she responded that five sommeliers are employed there and have all enjoyed that wine for years so she wasnt sure what our issue with it was. Fritters arrived the same colour as the black cast-iron skillet they were served in, but I scraped off the burnt outside and enjoyed the rest. The lamb meatballs were not ground finely, and sinewy bits distracted from their overall flavour. The mushrooms were delicious. I have never been made to feel so uncomfortable and borderline unwanted in a restaurant before. I wish Id had cash to leave on the table and avoid interacting further with any staff. Hard pass on returning any time soon.

My favourite restaurant in the city. Incredible food and service. I have my favourites on the menu (chickpea fritters and quinoa bowl) but I am never disappointed when I stray from my usuals. If you have not gone yet, you will be so happy you did. Make a reservation and know their brunch is as delicious as their dinner.

Awful and unpleasant service. The server seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but there and was not attentive to the table at all. We had to ask her back to the table to order drinks for people she missed and when it came time to order mains she seemed annoyed. At the end of the dinner she told us there was an autograt of 20% for larger parties, which was not communicated to the person who booked the reservation. This would have be no problem if we had received quality service, however all 10 of us left on a sour note and very disappointed.

Food was absolutely delicious and fresh but the portions were very very small, especially for the price. I understand the necessary costs involved in buying local products and making everything from scratch, which I can appreciate, but unfortunately I left hungry.

Went in today for brunch with my husband and kids. We have been keen to try it a while now and brunch sounded good. Wish I could give a review on the food but we never got to try any. We got there at 1:40 with plenty of time to catch brunch or so we thought. Our waitress was quick to bring us water and my drink which she got wrong. She passed our table many times but seemed to ignore us. I remarked to my husband that it wasint that busy and joked that maybe she was stalling so it would too late for the brunch menu. Well she finally got to us at 2:10 and when we tried to order the brunch menu she informed us that staff had left already. We left without eating with a very cranky hungry couple of kids. We ended up going somewhere else and had a wonderful lunch.

Started with a lovely cocktail - the Pineapple Express. The grilled sourdough with pea shoot butter appetizer ...mmmmm. The fried chicken sandwich was fantastic. Service was excellent. Ambience was pleasant.

Possibly one of the best breakfast meals I have ever had in my life. Cannot recommend the BBQ hash enough.

I just keep posting reviews of Odla because we always get delicious food and amazing service. Some people may think it is pricy but it does have a very nice location and design.

Every time Ive gone here Ive had a good time. The staff are always friendly, with the perfect amount of attentiveness. The patio is cute and theyve done a good job making it covid friendly without taking away from the ambiance. The drinks are always good and although I havent bought a meal here, I have always bought dessert. And theyre excellent. The only reason its not 5 stars is the prices are not my favourite. But if you dont mind spending a little extra cash, Odla is worth the visit.

It was our second time to Odla, and both times the food was great. We tried the chefs menu, every course was excellent, and the portion size was perfect. I highly recommend it!

The food and service here is always fantastic. They could however invest in some umbrellas and better furniture for their patio. Neither are up to the quality and prices of the restaurant.

Very good experience. We did the chefs tasting menu and got to try different menu items. It did not disappoint. Lamb meatballs and the pork tenderloin were a favorite of mine. Great selection of beer and wine on menu. Good assortment of cocktails but I didnt try any. Our server was helpful and friendly always checking in if we needed something. Another thing I liked there was a small area where you could buy local fare like jams, frozen meats and more. Found out about this place from the book Flat out Delicious by Jenn Sharp.

The fried chicken! Is gluten free! Everyone needs to know this! This was my first fried chicken experience at a restaurant and i nearly cried into my plate. The gnocchi and fried chicken was over the top. The chicken was shattering crisp and perfectly cooked. My plate was a pleasing balance of colors and flavors and I savored every bite. THANK YOU for giving us a wonderful experience.

Good food and cocktails, little pricey but worth it.

Second time visiting. I normally don t like to leave negative comments to local restaurants specially those who are promoting local food ingredients. We understand really well the difference between the color variation from each different shipment and an old oil burn taste so when we only try to provide an friendly reminder the uncomfortable attitude from the server make us leaving a 2 star comment here.

I dont think Ive ever had fish as good as the one I had at Oodla. It was a great experience, nice atmosphere and drinks were well made. Food is out of the world and Im still not entirely over how good it was.

An absolutely amazing restaurant. The food was so delicious! Beautiful thing about it was that I couldnt tell what the flavourings were. I have no idea how they made it taste as good as it did. It was radically fresh food, perfectly prepared . And we were able to eat outside on the patio warmed by these bowls of fire oh, so even at the height of an outbreak we were able to eat safely and in a beautiful setting.

So impressed with this dining experience in Saskatoon!! Our meal was superb, fantastic wine, and amazing service! Thank you so much!

We feel so fortunate to have found this restaurant during our one night stay in Saskatoon. Two of us ordered the tasting menu at Odla with one wine pairing. The food was outstanding, the portion sizes were large and the wine was paired perfectly. We left stuffed and so satisfied. And to the staff- Thanks for a great night!

Excellent food and cocktails. We had the special combination of Pickrel tacos with cucumber, line margaritas. We also had the chips and dip appetizer and one of our party had the chicken. Everything was incredible and the service was excellent. Finally, the shared desserts were perfect (chocolate tart and prosset). Love the decor too.

Food was great and many different menu options. Drink menu has lots of great cocktails, 9 Mile Legacy Brewing beer, and even Pisco Sours. Had great evening with friends. A bit more $$ than some of our other favorite places, but seemed worth it. Recommend trying them out.
