Great little original diner. Great food and plenty of nostalgia. They dont have pie anymore but they still have ice cream! One of, if not the only, place in the city to make a Monte Cristo sandwich and make it amazingly! Staff are absolutely incredible here! They treat you like a part of the family! Update: sometimes they have pie!

We had went there for brunch! The place was packed but the servers and the owner was so kind and patient! Everyone was so friendly and the atmosphere was incredible. Definitely can t wait to go back! We are very impressed!

Really good! A great vibe and just excellent food. Ive been a couple of times, once for breakfast (which was superb) and once for lunch (had a tasty burger). A nice hidden gem in Saskatoon, definitely would recommend it!

Breakfast, Oh my goodness the breakfast. A go to spot not far from the downtown core . A nice variety of egg Bennys. A must try bacon lovers, breakfast dish. Also great attentive personal service with reasonable parking options, paid or free if available on nearby side streets. More than just breakfast though. Looks like a great selection of sandwiches and burgers and likely more. I didnt get past the breakfast menu though. Check it out.

When a diner looks like this you know youre gunna eat good, I stick very simply to protein only in the morning so I got 4 Sunnyside up eggs and a order of breakfast sausage. Friends ordered a bunch of different breakfast things and it all looked great.

This is a gem. If you havent tried you NEED to! That rueben and beef dip, just amazing! And the bread! Where do you get the bread?!! Best service either, we craved desert, chef whipped up one of the best pancakes Ive ever had! Great service, great food and the decor screams diner comfort. Recommend over and over again!

One of the waitress was friendly the other one wearing glasses no so much, bacon on the traditional breakfast was not cooked properly. Small place, but nice, probably not going back again, sorry.

Great casual diner ambience with solid, comfortable meals! Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Kid-friendliness: My son loved all the antique items and photos on the wall! They gave him a paper chef hat to wear and explained the history of the restaurant when he asked.

I wish this place was on skip the dishes. Id probably never cook again. Excellent food service and atmosphere. Zero complaints Id give it a 10 if I could.

Quirky hole in the wall with amazing food. Much of it is made in house like the mozza sticks and onion rings. Unfortunately no longer offers pie. Deep fried grilled cheese is amazing. Food : 5/5

Awesome breakfast

I get the beef dip, add cherry corned beef, add beef bacon. I call it the triple beef. Its for a big boy. Pair with an hot apple cider or chocolate milkshake. Its a very nice homemade meal.

Unmatched. Hardly any hipsters, lots of old people like me. Not that expensive. Ready supply of ketchup.

Oh my golly miss molly. This spot hit the spot!! Classic Diner Style with classic diner eats. We were served by an older gentleman who was very funny and witty. I ate the classic breakfast while my boyfriend had the eggs benny, homemade hashbrowns were so fresh and delicious! All the staff were super friendly and the decor amusing. You always can count on Park Cafe for having consistently delicious breakfast. Its our go to breakfast spot, even when we plan to go somewhere else, and if theres a long wait, we come here. Eggs Benny is top notch and the hashbrowns are my fave :)

My husband and I grabbed breakfast here and loved it. The service was great and the breakfast came faster than anywhere Ive ever eaten. Everything was hot and fresh, really couldnt ask for more.

Tried for the first time today and it was great. Good little diner atmosphere, staff was friendly and actually had conversations with their customers which is less than common now. How I imagine small town diners were back when. Portion was great for the price. Left feeling beyond satisfied and full!

Good friend suggested we try this gem of a restaurant! It did not disappoint to say the least, I had the Traditional Breakfast and friend had the Crab Eggs Benny (real Crab btw) and the food was awesome. Great courteous attentive service in a retro decor the feels welcoming! Great place to eat! I will return often. M third visit, and I tried the Reuben and my GF an omellette, another win for the Park Cafe.

Used to frequent Park cafe many years ago.... We had a bad experience a while back and hadnt been back in a few years... Sad to say the Park Burger which used to be the best burger in the entire city in my opinion is now average or below.... The bacon was deep fried to a crisp and the burger was very overcooked. Miss the twin servers as well, they were so good... Maybe Ill leave it a few more years and itll come back to its former glory...

Service is amazing!! My husband and I went for a nice breakfast with VERY fussy (but usually very content) 8 month old. They gave us a nice quiet place to try and smooth her, and when our food came and she awoke screaming again, our server so kindly took her and walked around while we ate. It was embarrassing, but they reassured us that they loved having us there. We have never eaten in such a kind and caring atmosphere. We ate our food in a hurry but it was delicious! We will be going back again, but without a baby next time ;)

TLDR - I didnt have issues with how long the order was or even when the steak was overcooked, but the lady serving us can lower her voice, we couldve been treated and talked to us better. Lady didnt even bother apologizing one bit. Full story - Ordered a steak and had to wait more than 30 minutes while other customers that came in later had their orders in immediately. When order came in, it was overcooked and hard as hell to eat. Now I didnt have issues with this as the guy was very nice, apologetic and didnt let us pay for this meal. My issue is with the lady that was serving us. I only asked one time for a follow up on our order and she immediately raised her voice and embarrassed us in front of other customers that morning. We werent persistent at all and just wanted a follow up and asked nicely(literally just said excuse me). I was even smiling at her when she was serving other customers thst came after us. But we were met with a raised voice with how our order would take longer and its not just eggs. Me and my wife were severely embarrassed as other customers was looking us over because of her when all we wanted was a quiet breakfast after a stressful weeks of work. Even when she brought our orders in we werent talking at all even and let her set them down on our table, she was still pushing that our order takes longer than 15 minutes to be cooked(when we definitely know its more than that but of course we wouldnt want to argue at all as we paid for parking and it took us the whole 90 minutes) and saying lots of stuff when we werent talking at all. She wasnt at all apologetic at all throughout this whole ordeal.

If I could give it more stars I would!! This is by far my favourite breakfast & lunch spot in Saskatoon!! My family has been going there since about 2011. My niece was born in 2018 & it soon became mine & her tradition to go once or twice a month since she started eating solids (minus covid). When she was learning to walk, she would do laps around the restaurant saying hi to everyone. Pat (the owner), the servers (Adelle), as well as the awesome cooks ALWAYS make sure to come say hi. They have watched her grow into a little park cafe egg monster My niece won t even eat eggs at home now because the park cafe has the best eggs in the world My fave breakfast dish is the traditional breakfast. My fave lunch dish is the Park Burger (best burger in the city hands down). I definitely recommend you go to the Park Cafe. You absolutely will NOT regret it. It is always a great time, incredible food & wonderful/welcoming atmosphere that gives family vibes. Watch the video of my niece giving you a tour! Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs & crayons/colouring books Children s menu has 5 or 6 options for $8 with very generous portions.

This is the first place I had breakfast in Canada, and the first outside the country of my birth. It was a very pleasant experience, which I will always remember fondly, because of the friendly staff, family atmosphere and quality food at a fair price.

Great throwback diner experience. Owners are friendly, warm, and engaging. The food is all made in-house and is served hot and tasty. We had the traditional eggs, Benny, and will be back to try the smoked salmon Benny and the crab and asparagus Benny. They are in high demand and were unavailable the day we were here. We had a great experience and will be back to work our way thru the menu, and you should try as well.

Nice place to have breakfast and lunch or brunch. The quantity is big size, one plate can easily be eaten by two people. The staff is nice and friendly and the food tasted really good. I think the food is good for the price. I would recommend it to have a hearty breakfast on a Sunday. They close by 3-3:30 so you must go at least 1 hour before closing time.

I love the at home feeling this place brings. It is humble, laid back, and unpretentious. They have big servings with affordable prices. Our family loved all of our orders but the best of them would be their special for that day which was the cajun snapper.

The place was very busy. They were very prompt at sitting us down. The service was fast and friendly. Food was tasty. The only problem was that you could not hear your breakfast companion. Very loud throughout the restaurant.

The Park Cafe is awesome. Gives a retro vibe with all the old cameras and older pictures on the walls. The staff are awesome, they have a good sense of humour too, which is important nowadays. Good place.

Nice Saturday lunch here. Service: 4.5/5 there were two servers working and they were both good, i wish we had just one regular one Vibe: 4.5/5. Fun memorabilia and diner decor. Food: 4/5. We had the Rueben sandwich with caesar side salad and cobb salad. Overall very fresh, with nice bread. I had the cobb salad years ago and i think portions have decreased, but it still has the real chicken and ham with a nice freshly poached egg Value: 3.5/5 prices are generally good, but upcharging for the sides can drive up the overall price.

We were a group of 4. Three adults one child and one infant. We were seated promptly in a comfortable spot with room for a highchair. Two of us ordered eggs Bennie with salmon, one adult ordered the pancakes and sausage and we ordered the kids pancake and sausage for the child. They were all cooked perfectly. The childs pancake was large and in the shape of mickey mouse. The service was excellent and we enjoyed a wonderful meal without feeling rushed. We will be back. Thank you.

Whats not to love about the Park Cafe? Its unpretentious, good food, nice people, and free-flowing coffee. Great spot for a low-pressure brunch. In particular, Im partial to the Monte Cristo sandwich with hashbrowns, although in the past Ive gotten into many an eggs benny. The prices definitely have gone up a bit in the last couple of years, but thats the case everywhere.

Excellent breakfast spot, so glad to see them re-open. Everything is delicious and reasonably priced, also Park Cafe is the only breakfast spot in the city that actually uses ripe fruit in their fruit cup instead of the sad pale imitation of fruit you get at most places.

Diner classics made with extremely good ingredients. I would drink the gravy from a bucket. My go to is a BLT with turkey, fries and gravy. My husband loves the poutine, but literally everything is good!
