Their Bone in ribeye is probably one of the best I have had in a long time. Angelique (the server) is also super nice and caring. I would come back again anytime I pass thru Saskatoon.

We visit from Calgary every year and Cut Steakhouse is always a highlight of our trip. Really an incredible place in every regard

We booked a table in the dining room. We were given a table in the bar ( that seriously lacked atmosphere). The food, however was excellent!

We were a group of 4 last night celebrating 2 birthdays. This was our first visit to Cut and now wont be the last as it was overall a wonderful dining experience. Jen was our server and she was outstanding, helpful & gave just the right amount of attention. All our meals were delicious: The lamb shank was fall off the bone & flavourful. The Salmon - moist and flavourful. The chicken also. I had the scallops combined with spinach & beet salad, all delicious. And deserts cheesecake- sooo light. Creme Brulie unlike any Ive had before. Thanks Jen & Cut!

From reading Google reviews we decided on cut for dinner out with friends. We started with the scallops. They give you 4 scallops that were tiny for $20? Disappointed. I ordered the sirloin Oscar, medium rare. My steak was burnt and well done. Not what I ordered. I asked for it to be re cooked. They brought me another steak, unfortunately still burnt, and cooked to more medium. I ate it as I was starving. My baked potato was over cooked. I didn t eat it. The veggies were good. I also ordered a side Cesar salad. There was barely any dressing on it. Disappointed. My husband ordered their 16oz prime rib. The portion was definitely not 16 oz, maybe 12oz. They said it was cooked to medium rare, It was cooked more on the medium side. Our friend ordered the $72 t-bone. Paper thin and not cooked to his liking either. Very disappointed. Our other friend ordered the 12 oz portion of prime rib, it was more like 8oz. And cooked to medium. The other two ordered the salmon and pasta. They both enjoyed their dish. Service was ok. But not what you d expect at a high end establishment. Dirty dishes left on the table. Extra wine glasses left in the table. Had to ask for more water. Complete disappointment. There were maybe 6 tables while we were in there. It wasn t busy. They comped my meal as well gave me a complimentary desert. Peanut butter pie was good. Sad disappointment. Won t be back.

We were seated and waited over 20 minutes and still didnt have drinks. Didnt seem to receive any attention until we decided to walk out. Not the service Id expect from a place where I was about to pay $200 for supper. And the place wasnt even busy. Lucky for us we went to another restraunt (Chop Steakhouse) and received some of the best service Ive ever had.

If I could leave 10 stars for service I would! My girlfriend and I went for a date night at cut and Jen made us feel so special; it was definitely our favourite part of the night! The food was fantastic but the service that made us feel like royalty was certainly memorable. We have been to many restaurants in the city and have never had service like this. Highly recommend!!

Time and time again this place never disappoints. The staff is always on point and the food is outstanding! Dave and his team are always the go to for a great dinner. Thanks again to all the staff!

We went in for our Anniversary dinner and had Jen as our server. I will confidently say that she is the best server weve experienced in Saskatoon. Hands down. She was beyond fantastic, and read our table so incredibly well. Food & service were timed well and food was excellent (both had steaks, cooked perfectly). The place was clean and nice & busy (but not annoyingly so). Felt great to get out, support a local business and have great value for our dollars. Highly recommend checking this great spot out if you havent lately.

Thr only reason Im giving the food 2 stars is cause our steaks were cooked almost perfect but the flavor was nothing. I dont think they seasoned them at all. The lobster was also very tasteless and bitter ( I didnt have high hopes since we live in sk...) our food came a hour after we were seated. The slowest service. Our appetizer was 4 TINY scallops. And took over half hr to come. All in all this place is over priced and over rated. Wont be coming back.

We booked the private room for a work function for 11 guests. The room has a cozy ambiance with fireplace and view of the street. It was -38 outside and wasnt busy in the restaurant. All of our food was excellent. Steak was perfectly medium as I like it, and the braised beef ribs were also a big hit. Our server was super sweet and attentive. Great vibe of the whole place.

The appetizers were absolutely horrible. We ordered stuff mushrooms and prongs and dried ribs. There was no meat on the ribs just burnt the mushrooms were burnt. The prongs were so,so. we had a group of 16 we had ordered a steak and lobster. It was all right but not worth $68, but very very disappointed in the appetizers absolutely garbage. The service was good. I m not one to make a fuss but defiantly disappointed when we left considering the bill was over $600 for the four of us. For that price all of the food should have been on point. Not to mention was charged for items on my bill that weren t even mine. This has not been my first time there and my first experience was the same. Needless to say we will not be back.

Loved the atmosphere! Our server was Emma and she was amazing- excellent customer service. We made a reservation with open table so we were seated right away. The food and drinks were great! I ordered the pan seared Atlantic salmon with horseradish whipped potato and added asparagus. This dish was amazing- the salmon was cooked to perfection with a buttery sauce that was soo good! The potatoes were to die for as well. My fiancé ordered the sirloin which came with the horseradish whipped potatoes, veggies with a side of gravy and horseradish. He said that it was perfect!- the only thing was that the gravy was a little too salty for his liking.

My husband and I celebrated an early Valentines Dinner. Our server Chloe was absolutely lovely! Attentive, engaging, a very kind young lady. Food was very good. We had never been so we had the Fire Prawns and Tuna tacos appetizer along with the French Onion soup. I ordered the Tuna entrée and my husband a 10oz NY Striploin, we shared. Nice combo. The veggies were perfect and the horseradish mashed potatoes are tasty. It was a lovely evening. We will be back! I would totally recommend you dine here. We did take a look at the lounge downstairs, looked like a nice atmosphere. We will check that out on another date night.

Went for Valentine s Day and everything about our meal was 10/10 . Everything from the food , service and ambience were all perfect . It s not cheap but you can taste the quality in the food.

Went here for my girlfriends birthday. We reserved a table and mentioned that it was for a birthday. When we arrived, instead of just having a table set aside for us, we were instead treated to a private dining room at no extra charge. Staff was friendly, food and cocktails were delicious, and considering it is a steak house, the prices are pretty reasonable. Definitely will come back

Lots of better Steak houses in the area. Was served the roughest cut of ribeye I ve ever seen. Couldn t eat 2/3 of it. When brought up to the server was told maybe I shouldn t order the ribeye . (my favorite cut of meat) and didn t know what I was ordering . I would eat a half dead animal. Won t be going back

I went for my birthday dinner. The restaurant atmosphere upstairs was lovely. The building is not an accessible one and that was not made obvious when I made the booking. The server who tended to us was wonderful but I found the food not great and the place pretentious. I wont be returning. I wanted to leave as quickly as possible because it was an unwelcoming space. Its two levels and a patio, I was taken to the lower level which is more of a bar/pub vibe compared to the upper level. I wasnt asked which floor, I was immediately sat downstairs without being asked but I assume it was because it was a slow night (mid-week). The food was great, the lamb shank was saltier than I was used to but I washed it down with J Lohr cab sauv (delicious). I highly recommend the crème brulee!! You do not want to pass on dessert.

I am from Calgary, and this restaurant is beyond compare! Plating beautiful, taste amazing. Service was incredible. I was really excited to try the Saskatchewan Pickerel. A delicacy in Calgary!! Done to perfection, and you HAVE to try the horseradish whipped potatoes. Seriously?!? So good. Please come to Calgary!!!

The service was excellent. But the food was not. The pasta taste like the cheapest box pasta you can get. The whole dish was bland. My wife had steak and it was chewy, and bland. The mushroom caps are a joke. Unimpressed with the food and will not return for that reason.

A great evening with new friends. Exceptional service, stellar food, and a lovely contemporary atmosphere with comfortable lighting. Really fantastic! For the record the Rib eye steak was to die for, and the answer to flavoued butter is YES.

Our server was fantastic. Friendly, attentive and personable. Unfortunately, for a place known for their steaks, the meat was over cooked and over salted. No hint of horseradish in the horseradish whipped potatoes. For the price, the meal was not worth it.

These guys did a great job accommodating our group of 20 for dinner, they called the day before and confirmed, had two people constantly looking after our group, a job well done! Thanks!

Recently checked out this place and had mixed feelings. While the atmosphere and service from the staff were top notch, the food left me wanting more. The steak, though cooked adequately, really lacked any exceptional flavour or wow factor I was hoping for. The sides were a bit underwhelming, and the prices were on the higher side. Its a decent option for a casual steak dinner, but not quite worth the premium price tag they ask.

I have been here many times and each time has been excellent. Most recently I went with a group of co-workers for dinner. There was a large group of us, 12, and the service was quick and friendly. We started with appretizers which all came quickly and all tasted delicious. I had the scallops and they were fantastic! For dinner the food orders varied, but I had the steak and lobster. The steak was cooked percect and the lobster was good, just a little chewy. And, finally for dessert I ordered the berry cheesecake which was SO soft and creamy!

Went with a small group. 2 of us had the prime rib. It was ok. A couple of the ladies each got salads with steak frites and were both quite happy with their meals. The waiter was ok. He did make a comment about how much one of our party had ordered for his meal which didnt seem professional but who am I to say! Lol. The cost was average for the value in my opinion. Id be willing to try it again in the future.

Kiedra and Cody we re absolutely outstanding with the customer service and the chef knew we like spicy food so he went away and beyond modifying the original recipe to make it perfect for us!!! The atmosphere was romantic and in general the restaurant makes you feel you are in an area at Central Park NYC

We are in town for business and this was our first dining experience in Saskatoon. -This place was recommended to us by our client. I could write a million words and still not capture the essence of our experience. The food was incredible, as was the atmosphere but the quality of the service was what really made it an exceptional experience.

It was THE WORST customer service ever. I was in town for business. Our group ended up being a bit bigger than we expected. All of a sudden, the restaurant owner came over and started yelling at me about how big our group was despite the fact that we brought them over $4k business that night. The owner even asked if I was local from Saskatoon, and I said no (Im from Vancouver). He said if I am not local, he was afraid he couldnt accommodate us, which is totally irrelevant! I was deeply offended and disgusted by his comments. Since it was too late at night and we couldnt go anywhere else, we somewhat managed to finish our dinner with no further issues from the owner. The steak was also way too overcooked and dry. I am NEVER coming back to this restaurant. This is THE WORST customer service and dining experience ever. *Response to the owners comment: We host events like this across Canada, and i have never had a restaurant owner complaining like that before. We have had a similar situation before a couple of times, but they were always cooperative, kind, and trying to find a solution together instead of being critical and telling me to go somewhere else. I explained to you that I also didnt expect such a large turnout, but it happens. I was respectful to you and even empathized with you. Yet, you never even had the decency to apologize to me for being rude, to your paying customer. Many restaurant owners would be so grateful for bringing them more business. Sure, it may not be all about money, but what happened last night was totally managable. Have you also thought about a position that you would put me in and our business reputation if you were to kick us out? Lacking empathy and complaining instead of being cooperative in a situation like this is not what I call great customer service. Good, you dont care about money because I am never bringing my business to your restaurant again.

Avoid if you are a business traveler dining alone. It was explained to me by a man who appeared to the manager or the host that single diners are sat against the wall (which was in the least desirable part of the dining room even though the restaurant was nearly empty). Were they expecting reservations? No. Were they expecting to fill up with walk-ins? No. It remained half full when I left. The food was good and the server was good. The attitude towards single business travelers: you are not welcome at Cut Casual.

We went to Cut for the first and last time last night to celebrate my husband s birthday. The food was good except my husband s loaded baked potato was a bit undercooked. I can accept that can happen. Two of the staff treated us like we shouldn t be eating there. We were not welcome there at all. The gentleman who brought the bread basically threw the basket at the table. The waiter was polite but he couldn t get us out of there fast enough. We have been at the Keg and Chop many times where they were very welcoming and friendly. Cut is the worst customer service we ever received.

Jenna is absolutely perfection. She served us her first Chateau Neuf Du Beaucastle (our favorite). She was stunning and an absolute delight. Dave was magnificent. We will be making this our new Saturday night spot. Absolute love Food

Ive been here a few times now. Usually service is good but occasionally is a little underwhelming. Overall food is great just wish you could get mashed potatoes without the horse radish.

I dined here the other day. Food was average, I liked their double baked potato. Couldnt enjoy a peaceful dinner, it was so noisy. If you are looking for a good ambience, this is not the ideal place.

Their managers worked with our special requests and Ive never been treated so well in a restaurant! I may be mistaken but I believe our waitress was Erin and she was amazing at taking care of us, while also giving the perfect amount of privacy for our anniversary dinner. Thank you so much!

Amazing food, great service, very comfortable seating and atmosphere. Low lighting and dark furniture. This place is delicious and relaxing. Try the bacon wrapped tenderloin and the Saskatchewan made beer!

I came here solo and enjoyed my Sirloin Oscar meal with a Moscow mule to drink. The meal came with a small piece of bread before my meal came as well. I also got the pan seared asparagus side. It was a bit smaller then I was expecting given the price. But overall it was a good meal.

Ive had the Tomahawk Steak it was cooked to perfection. Doesnt matter what you order at this restaurant its always good. I have never been disappointed

Great quantities for the price you pay

The food was quite good. The service was surprisingly poor. Our waiter would disappear for extended periods despite there being very few other tables. We waited 10 min for tea and when it arrived, it was lukewarm so it couldn t steep. The young girl who brought it to our table (who we had to flag down) gave us attitude when we politely asked them to be reheated. No, Whoops, sorry about that . Just received a smug smile followed by a look of annoyance. Really disappointing experience.

Excellent service. The wait for food was minimal and I got exactly what I ordered.

If I could give 0 stars I would for the poor, disrespectful, unprofessional and arrogant attitude of the manager Dave MacIntosh. After a slow service, the fire cracker prawns were over fried, my seven up was more or less tap water with white floating stuff. My wife ordered the fillet mignon well done and she got a charred brick. The manager said even if we replace the steak, it will end up the same, wow. He couldnt handle my criticism of the food (including my smoked tuna and over fried prawns) and beverages served to us, and basically pulled out the dishes from our table, including my 8 year old burger which she was enjoying at least, and said (we are calling it off tonight). Never have I experienced or seen such poor conduct in a restaurant, especially from the manager who is entrusted on the reputation of the establishment he works for. Chloe our waitress was great and friendly, she did what she can. We offered to pay for the food and beverage we ate but the manager refused, the least he can do with his roten approach. A word to the owners, sack him and the chef, Dave is terrible and an embarrassment to the Hospitality business anywhere. No wonder the place is almost empty.

To your response Dear Restaurant Owner: meeting expectations means at least try not to burn the meat for $44. If you cant meet these least expectations and receive well objective comments from your own customers and not to lie about how badly we talked means you are in a wrong business. Please do not take berating personally, you are in a business at the end of the day where your job is to make your clients happy and not at least making them leave and feel disrespected. We berated food and your staff took it personally very poorly and very rude by pulling the plates in front of our faces and my childs mouth who actually enjoyed the burger - is this ETHICAL?! Well I dont think so. So he (or you) had a discriminatory attitude. Please fix it. No personal issues, as we never knew you, it was out first time, and going to be the last obviously, which I will further strongly not recommend people going there based on objective overrated burned food and rude behaviour. No comments further. I know I am telling it based on facts and it is true. And by the way seeing other reviews apparently you have a history of bad management and not cooked or overcooked food. Terrible food and humiliating service. Wasted time waiting for our food with our family. The premium, which they call, steak was overdone with burning and pieces of charcoal on the meat. The veggies were cut and cooked as if served to cattle, not humans. This is in regards of my food, not to mentions kids others. When brought attention to the overly almost burned piece of meat, the Manager at his worst attitude said this is the way it is done and the next would be the same. Next comments were not taken well and the man who calls himself a Manager literally grasped the plates including my daughters, although didnt have a comment on it, from our hands very rude and basically asked to leave with loud and fake apologies. Rude, unethical, discriminatory and racist behaviour from receiving time, we tried to not pay attention, have swallowed few of unprofessional comments about attire of my husband from this man. Failure to such high end so called place that happens to hire a racist superior staff. Disappointing at all levels given the amount of places been around the world with fine dining. Never again.

Loved the ambience, I had the rib-eye cooked Med rare and was perfect. We used the corkage fee option.

Not worth the hype location is great but the service and steak were subpar for the price and not many stuffed mushrooms it ended up being 3.40 per mushroom that werent that big I thought I would of shopped local and scored but failed cool graffiti art on the wall next door

My boyfriend and I went there on Sunday evening and the food was not worth the price. I ordered the lamb shank and I ve never had lamb taste gamy like this one has. My boyfriend ordered the filet mignon and it was extremely tough. He could hardly cut through the steak. We both ordered the twice baked potatoes (for an extra $2) when all it was is a hallowed out potato skin with the mashed potatoes inside. I was extremely disappointed in going to a high end/high quality restaurant and didn t receive the quality expected.

2021: Service was good. Good spot for a night out and cocktails! Marinara meatballs were awesome, definitely mopped up the sauce with the extra bread provided. Scallops were cooked well. 2022: went there for a birthday steak supper and it was cooked perfectly!

My first experience was GREAT! My waitress Amy was so nice and informative about the city history. The steak was PERFECT. Highly recommend.

I was unfortunately underwhelmed. I like to dive into local cuisine with a higher end steak restaurant in places I travel. This restaurant was recommended by my hotel and traveling as often as I do I rely on local s recommendations. The cocktails I ordered were Pretty In Pink and Berry Basil Bliss . Both were full of well intertwined flavours. They did not disappoint. The stuffed crab mushroom caps were very tasty but, had minimal traces of crab. The steak was prepared as requested and lightly seasoned. It could ve been taken to a higher level if it were served on a warmed plate or hot stone. Particularly when served with lobster, it s preferable to maintain ideal meal temperature with a warmed plate. This way the customer doesn t feel rushed to eat while it s warm. The lobster tail was tender however, it lacked any flavour good or bad. The accompanying melted butter was kept warm by lit flame but, was oddly watery in both texture and taste leaving the lobster a sad side rather then formidable pairing. Finally the dessert was a raspberry and vanilla cheesecake. This was perhaps the most disappointing. It was absolutely no better then the cheap, whipped, no-bake cheesecakes that are commonly served at all you can eat buffets. Also, it was a tiny portion given the low quality with high cost. The positives were the atmosphere and the staff. Staff were professional and had formal serving etiquette. They elevate the dining experience which, is needed given the overall experience.

Great dinner all of the staff was great including the owner, I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal.

We had a fantastic dinner and evening at The Cut Steak House. We were greeted by the owner David and our waiter Kyle was first class and attentive. If you are in Saskatoon and want a wonderful steak dinner and atmosphere, this is the place to go! Thanks to all the staff for making it a great experience!

We popped into Cut lounge for some appies and drinks. The soups were bith amazing, the Beef Barley had lots of beef and fresh veggies. The appetizers were tasty and well cooked. The server was very attentive without hovering. The drinks were unique and well made.

I had my works CEO and Shareholder in town and decided to take them and my wife to CUT for Dinner. This was our first time here. It was amazing. The waitress was great, the owner of CUT even came over with the wine. The wine list was great, the Seared scallops for a starter started the whole night off perfectly. The meals, dessert, and drinks were all fabulous, I will highly recommend CUT to all my friends, family , and colleagues. Thank you for the great food and service.

Expensive steak that I can make better at home. The Oscar is fine but overpriced at $44 for a 6 oz. The horseradish whipped potatoes had no flavour and the veggie side was also disappointing. The food had a slight coconut taste too. The crème brûlée was the only thing I enjoyed. I have no desire to go back.

I made the reservation online with the option of putting the occasion and they brought us a birthday dessert! The Waitress was so sweet and the food was delicious.

Front entrance was clean, we were greeted as soon as we walked in. Seated in 30 seconds. Server was very good always checking on drinks and food. Would go again.

Was very excited to try this place while I was in town. Boy was I let down. Strike one: our food took 1 hour to arrive, arrived at 7pm, and didnt get any food until 830pm. Strike two: The steak was not cooked correctly. Additionally, I had ordered a burger which came absolutely burnt to a crisp and needed to be sent back. This wasnt an issue as staff was accommodating. However, I got a second burger and this one was also absolutely burnt to a crisp and not edible. Strike three: the manager came over to apologize for all these issues and was super condescending. Joking that my burger was too charbroiled for my liking. No buddy, Burger King of all places has no issues with char broiled burgers, yet what is supposed to be a fine-dining establishment cannot cook a burger. Both burgers were unedible unfortunately. As a compromise the staff brought us some prime rib which had the texture of a leather shoe and was quite tasteless. I was quite disappointed as I wanted to like this place. Overall, avoid this place. Way too expensive for what they offer. All youre going to get is a long wait, mediocre food, and servers trying to upsell you on over priced drinks once every 5 minutes while you wait over an hour. Me and the other members of my party will never return.

We had a wonderful evening at CUT. The food was delicious and the service was incredible. Katelyn was an extremely professional and courteous server. She was so efficient and never phased by our requests. We loved when she walked us through the menu and highlighted different features. She truly knew the menu items and had great recommendations. Dave, the owner, greeted us warmly as we came in. We will definitely be back. A lovely restaurant in Saskatoon!

Casual dining spot in the heart of Saskatoons business and financial district. Close to all major hotels. Great food and a nice wine selection.

Dined at The Cut again last night and had another wonderful experience. Our server, Chloe, was fantastic - friendly, knowledge, and her timing was spot-on. The food was amazing, as always. Dietary restrictions: The Cut is very knowledgeable on options for Celiacs and are able to modify most dishes to GF, if they arent already.
