Me and my cousin came here for their prime rib, I would 100% recommend everyone to try their prime rib! Very delish! 10 ouf ot 10! 💕 Reason why I'm only giving the service 4 stars was because I felt like we weren't getting taken care of as how a 5 star would require. We had to wait and ask for the server to refill our water, water refilling in restaurants are a must especially you're eating. But everything else was amazing! Atmosphere only 4 stars because we were put in a very tiny table. But came here for the prime rib and the prime rib delivered! I am happy, will be back for sure! 💕
I recently visited The Granary, and overall, it was a positive experience. The service was top-notch – a definite 5-star for the attentive and friendly staff. The salad bar was impressive, with plenty of fresh options to choose from. I found the pricing very reasonable for the amount and variety offered, which made it feel like great value for the money. The vibe of the place is a bit old-fashioned, but I didn’t mind; it added a bit of charm. The facilities were well-kept and clean, which added to the comfort of dining there. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that, while the food was good, it was somewhat ordinary in flavor. There wasn’t anything that really ‘wowed’ me or made me want to keep eating. Still, I enjoyed my meal and will likely visit again in the future.
Came here for a nice dinner… left with food poisoning. The service was fine and the drinks were good, but I will never eat here again. It is way overpriced in general as well. Absolutely do not get the baked feta chicken if you want to live to see another day!
What a beautiful restaurant. My boyfriend and I celebrated our first anniversary at the same place as we had our first date and I couldn’t recommend it more. Reservations were made however it was a quiet Tuesday night so it really wasn't necessary but it’s always a good idea to do so (especially weekends). Our service was impeccable. We were immediately asked if we'd been there before and if we were celebrating anything special. We ordered alcoholic beverages (the mojito was fantastic), a crab dip and really large Caesar salad for appetizers; The appetizers filled us right up and we could barely enjoy our main courses! My boyfriend ordered the stuffed pork chop which came with vegetables and a side of his choice. I ordered the Oscar chicken that came with the same options. I couldn't recommend the garlic mashed potatoes or French fries more for your sides...they were perfect. Both meals were absolutely phenomenal! Lastly, our server graciously offered a dessert on the house to celebrate our beautiful milestone. The brownie came out warm with a sparkler and melted in your mouth. Our experience at The Granary was so beautiful and made us feel so special. We definitely recommend it for any birthday or date night.
I had the Filet mignon and it was done perfect, med rare. I am very picky about my steak. The Wagon Salad was good and my husband loved the bacon wrap scallops. The atmosphere was How are you describe the atmosphere was cozy, we love It’s kind of a throwback with a lot of antiques. Our waitress Janna did a great job of asking us about if we were celebrating an occasion and was very attentive. Will be back again.
That 24 Oz prime rib is wild. So big! I had crab legs. The food was very good and staff were great.
Our friends treated my husband and me to this restaurant for our anniversary, which is on February 14th, and we had an amazing experience. The food was delicious and had a unique taste, with portions that were just right. I particularly enjoyed their salad buffet and discovered the unique flavor of horseradish for the first time. The only downside was that the prices listed on their website were lower than those on the menu. However, the staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable evening.
Food ok, service good and the vibe was really old, lots of dust and worn out seating. We went here for a birthday thinking it was going to be a STELLAR food experience given the reviews but it did not deliver. Food was bland, steak overcooked, lobster was not moist, potatoes unseasoned, chicken was dry, biscuits were good! Service was ok, they only checked in on us 3 times, drinks, to order then deliver food. We had to hound another server for our bill and we were not able to quench our thirst after eating. Vibe - the inside designed to look like a old western steakhouse, but it really just looked old. Tons of lurking dust, even around the buffet area, the seats were peeling, high volume areas (carpet, ends of booths) had wear and tear.
Excellent food Great service would highly recommend
Best prime rib but service has dropped off. We were there around 530 and wasnt busy. Mushrooms Neptune were great. Took long time to get main course and bill. Will be back though.
One of our favourites
The fries were pretty good but next to that prime rib it was almost sacrilegious . My colleague had the fancy mash potatoes with his. The best prime rib I ever had and service was amazing. All the food was amazing for our large group. Hardly needed a knife for the prime rib.
One of my favorite places in Saskatoon. The prime rib is always incredible. Celebrated my convocation with my family. Dietary restrictions: Theyre great for celiac and dairy intolerance
Sorry to say it, folks. My number one on my list in the 80s. This not one of the best meals I ever had. Portion was small for the price tag. The place still looks the same after all these years. Service was sub- par in my eyes.
Food was great took a bit long almost an hour even to get our bread then another to get food but was a busy night and big crowd so I get it but I mean bread but all and all was pretty good did not like the lighting several of us that were there got a headache as it wasnt dark but wasnt light and wasnt consistent
Great food, atmosphere and service!
Went on a Saturday evening during dinner rush with my wife and all considered, it was a pleasant visit. The food was good. Not extraordinary but it was as expected and no complaints other than my wife recieved someone elses medium well prime rib. Mine was done correctly and came to me as it came off at medium rare. Service was great and had 2 servers over watching the area and things were quick. The bread and meal came quickly but I ordered a drink and mentioned to my wife if they had forgot about it when it arrived. The atmosphere was a bit cramped and had a family restaurant vibe to it at the time. This may have just been the dinner rush and we didnt mind but a couple looking for a nice night out for their only chance in a long while may reconsider.
The food was good, and Im not happy they pre prep the pickeral fish with breading so someone gf cant have it. It would be nice to have an au jus with the prime rib. Cant go wrong with the salad bar. Our server and hostess were lovely. Dietary restrictions: Lacking 4 gluten free options
Went there last night, we were astonished at how unbelievably awful the food was! Especially considering the high price: Soup of the day-chicken sausage gumbo was just murky water with nothing but salt and barely any meat. The 1pound crab leg was so overcooked that 80% of the meat were shrivelled and disappeared, the burnt mark was evident on the shell. My friend ordered their filet mignon medium rare, first time it was way past well-done, sent it back, second round it appears to be med-rare, but STONE-COLD in the centre! My moms salad was, to quote her, swimming in ranch, it might as well be a soup; sent back, came the second round with almost NO DRESSING. This is beyond ridiculous. For a high-end restaurant where you spend $120/person on average youd expect equivalent quality in food, but we got salty, greasy mess. The presentation was also sloppy, with cherry on top being they mixed up our order. Attentive servers and cozy atmosphere, that about the only redeeming qualities of this place. Safe to say we will never return nor would we recommend this place to anyone unless we hate them. What an absolute joke!
The waitress said they were known for their prime rib. I was very unimpressed with my prime rib. Sure it was tender, but it was also the most flavorless beef I have ever eaten. My Girlfriend had the flat iron and it was delicious. Her crab legs however were all shell and no meat.
Great for the meat and potatoes experience. Beverage prices were too high
Shishlik nice, tender, perfectly seasoned. Calamari pieces too tiny. Great bread if thats your thing. House wine ok, decent price.
It is truly one of the best dining experiences that Ive ever had. They have a lot of antiques on display. Very friendly staff. Wheelchair accessibility: You can get in no problem, but Id let them know you are in a wheelchair so they can accommodate you better
We always enjoy this restaurant when we visit Saskatoon.
Absolutely fantastic dinner. Service was impeccable.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible. Push button access entrance. There is room to maneuver for up to a 24 chair but larger would be problematic. Very accomidating staff. Food
Delicious prime rib.
Enjoyed the ribeye steak. Calamari was just ok tho.
Amazing food and atmosphere. Service was fantastic. If you like steak, and prime rib, this is the place to go!!!!
Excellent as always. Kenzie , our server, was a delight. Food was well prepared. Highly recommend.
Prime rib to die for with in house made horseradish. Great servers. Filled to the brim with old sask knickknacks.
Great place for a celebratory meal.
Great food and unique Atmosphere. Mediocre value. Ok service. Spacious and cozy.
Absolutely great food big portions tentative service. Warning dont go ham on the startes it be filling.
Had an awesome steak there, place was good, great staff.
Old fashioned and beautiful restaurant, food is tasteful, service is beyond the industry standards, and the environment is super friendly and friends/family oriented. Five star.
We frequent the bar side for steak sandwich on Thursday. The dining area and salad wagon is always great. Food always consistent
Good food Good price Good service!! Food : 5/5
Great meal. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free accomodated Wheelchair accessibility: Great washroom
Excellent experience all around
The best service and best prime rib ,
For a big dinner function or a relaxed dinner for 2, this is a fantastic place. The menu has a great variety to choose from and is perfect for those had to feed people. The decor inside the Granary is fabulous. So much to look at and see. The wine menu will please every palate. Romantic with a touch of relation. Whether you want to dress to the nines or feel a little more like jeans, this is the place to be.
I had a fantastic dining experience at The Granary restaurant. I ordered the Chicken Oscar dish, and it was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The welcoming staff and friendly, professional waiters made the meal even more enjoyable. I highly recommend The Granary for anyone looking for a great meal and outstanding service.
Delicious Salad Bar, Cauliflower Bites, Prime Rib, Steak : We were impressed with the entire experience. First time for me at the Granary, so enjoyed seeing the vintage artifacts displayed above, beyond and everywhere. Vegetarian options: Cauliflower Bites. Mushroom Dish
Hey! Great Restaurant! Really good food! Everyone is super helpful and friendly! Would highly recommend this place! Great seafood, ribs! Fun sitting in the lounge as well if you want more of a casual outing!
Amazing meal and service
Tops!
Excellent meal , waiter was very good, the appetizers were delicious and served hot. The entrees were delicious but not quite as warm as expected. This was a Saturday evening, and the restaurant was full. It s not an inexpensive restaurant, but the quality is excellent.
One of our favorite spots
Great service and meal
Prime rib was fantastic and my kids really enjoyed the salad wagon
Love the Granary!! Food, service and atmosphere were great!! Prime rib was amazing!!
Great meal out. Haven t been here for 37 years. Food was really good.
The food was really good but the prices have INCREASED to the point of crazy . Had the smaller prime rib which was as I said really very tender and yummy ... compliments to the chef .....but was very thinly sliced so cut the fat off doesnt leave much actual meat for the cost ! I I understand that the price of food has gone up but not to the anount of those prices . Too bad ! Would I go back ? Nope . Not unless the prices decrease. Tks
4 of us all had steak sandwiches. I thought it was good but the boys thought they should look alike, they did not. 4 steak sandwiches 4 different looking sizes of steaks. Drinks good service good. It was a good night.
The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the server was very knowledgeable about the wine.
Absolutely love coming here to eat! The steak is done perfectly as requested and the vegetables are fresh. The food is absolutely delicious
This place is a museum, not a restaurant. The food taste is on par with Costco routisserrie chicken for twice the cost.
The prime rib is amazing. Yes it is expensive, but it is very high quality and worth the price. The steak on the other hand was flavorless and over cooked for a medium rare (I never want to be the one to complain about how my steak is cooked because I m not that picky about meat, but this steak was not that good even to my standards). The service was okay but I felt judged by our server. My partner overhead her talking dismissively to the other staff about us. Just not a comfortable environment for me and I probably won t be returning.
The food and service was absolutely great. Really enjoyed the supper there. Atmosphere is a little dated, but doesnt change the quality of the food
Avoid if you are vegetarian. I have eaten here twice. First time they served me a vegetarian soup that had chicken in it. Second time they served me a vegan stir fry where the rice wasnt properly cooked and was still raw.
The food here is really yummy. It has been a go to for me every time I go to Saskatoon. The prime ribs are always delicious and I have to say the horse radish here is the best there is! The only feedback is the wait time. I find on average the wait time to get the food is around 45 minutes Since I don t live in Saskatoon though, even with the wait time, I ll still make an effort to eat here at least once when I m in town :)
Prime ribs were really good
The service was a bit lacking despite making a reservation ahead of time for our large party. Everyone enjoyed their food. The kitchen struggled to keep up with dishes so half our party didnt have drinks for most of their meals.
What a great dining experience! Just wonderful! From the food straight to the music.
The staff are constantly on the back loading dock and gawking at the apartments behind the restaurant. My wife and children are afraid to go to the window because the head chef is always watching our windows and smoking and throwing his butts all over the place GROSS. It attracts bums looking for tobacco and wrecks our neighborhood. My wife and small child feel CREEPED out by the bearded head cook who stands at the loading dock railing and just stares for 5 minutes into our apartment building windows CREEEPY
Fav restaurant in Sask The pecan crusted chicken is soooooo good! Parking: Plenty of parking Food : 5/5 |
Always a classic, The Granary is a really nice place to have an amazing meal in a nostalgic setting. The service is top notch and you always feel taken care of. If youre looking for a, relatively, cheap place to dine, The Granary is not for you. Although they tend to have good specials, good quality food these days come with premium prices. However, you get what you pay for and wont be disappointed. If you are lactose intolerant or sensitive: The kitchen does a good job of trying to accommodate, but know that many of the menu items and salad wagon offerings have cheese/dairy. Dietary restrictions: Many of the dishes have cheese/dairy so dining here is tricky for the lactose intolerant and lactose sensitive.
Our first time there tonight. Beautiful, warm and cozy atmosphere . Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food was top quality, seafood was exceptional, the best in the city we ve had. The price reflects the quality. Highly recommend.
This is an honest review of the Granary DEC 31 2022..This restaurant is not fine dining and they dont care!!, and is a shell of its former self , All staff wearing masks still for some reason, the free biscuits are disgusting, prime rib was flavourless, rude rushed service, slippery tabletop which made your plate slide around when cutting, my Gin&Tonic was served in a pint glass. Just to name a few problems!!
Menu selection is very good, service was prompt. Drinks are a little pricey, prime rib and filet mignon tasty. The clientele is older, no reservation needed for supper on a Sunday at 6. Was a good experience
The best steak you can have. Had the 10oz sirloin at mediam. I have Neff all over North America and this is one of the best I have ever. Service is always . Food
We had a table of 6 all of us had the prime rib meal it was the most tenderest cut of meat ive ever had!!! Dessert was the peanut butter pie and was enough for every one to try and was a delicious way to end the meal. Definitely will go back and recommend it to anyone wanting a a-1 meal
Excellent experience for our first time here. Showed up without reservations and we were accommodated. Our waitress was the perfect mix of attentive and giving us space. The meal was a 10/10. We both had prime rib, medium rare and it was the best we ve ever had. Absolutely delicious! We ordered with the asparagus/hollandaise/crab on top and highly recommended. The seasonal veggies were delicious and cooked to perfection. We had escargot stuffed mushrooms and they were a great start to the meal in addition to the yummy complimentary warm buns brought to us. We ate our meal in the lounge and the atmosphere was relaxing, our drinks were replenished and we had a wonderful evening. Can t wait to go back next time we are in town.
First time at the Granary and I was really pleased with experience. We decided to have have supper and drinks in the lounge. The food was delicious and the cocktails were tasty. We had an amazing time. Our server, Mikayla, was attentive and friendly. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
Great prime rib
The prime rib is excellent
Love their salad bar. My family came here multiple times growing up for our grandparents birthdays, special holidays, etc. a true Saskatoon classic! Service is always top notch, especially noted as we d always have a large group.
Excellent food and Service, Has been 3 years since weve been here and its excellent. Been a long time but it still ranks among the best restaurants in the country. Food
We reserved table for 4 at 7 in the evening but food was served until we followed up at 8:15. We waited for an hour and 15 minutes. We just ate and never enjoyed it.
Just wonderful
Nice atmosphere, good food but the service was lacking. Didnt even get a refill of water.
Everything was wonderful! I had the calamari with ribs and chicken. Food tasted great was fresh and served in a reasonable amount of time. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. The servers were friendly and helpful.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Dietary restrictions: Gluten friendly options much appreciated. Wheelchair accessibility: Very accommodating Saw me not the wheelchair super good.
How many good things can you say about the Granary that have not already been said? On my visit, everything was up to their already high standards, dont know how it could be improved. There is a reason it has been a Saskatoon staple for decades.
Food was good but a little over priced. Service was excellent for a large party that we had. The atmosphere was not really my style for me, it seemed dated and there were tchotchkes all over the place.
Our favourite restaurant. The valentines menu tonight was superb and our waitress was AMAZING. I believe her name was Kristy? Feb 19/23
Service, food and atmosphere are all fantastic. We sat in the lounge and had a great time. The food was really good and had realistic portions, I have absolutely no complaints about the experience. The lounge was low lit, maybe 4 tvs in total and nothing was playing too loud to make you feel over stimulated. The caesars they make here are hands down one of the best caesars Ive ever had. Every now and then I still think about it and how it mustve been kissed by god, it was that good. The mimosas are also good here, I enjoyed the fact we were allowed to order 2 drinks at a time each. My boyfriend ordered the filet mignon, cooked medium rare and bacon wrapped. Ive never seen that man look at anything the way he looked at that steak ever in my life.
Great food, great atmosphere
Really enjoyed the ribs and Leafs game while there!
Best bacon wrapped scallops ever
Excellent prime rib
Bery nice spot to bring the family
Great food.
The only thing wrong was the veggies they was tuff
It was ok. It was really at its best late 90s and early 2000s. The steak was ok. The server was excellent. I felt it was overpriced for what I got.
Ill be back for sure. Had a great time. Thanks
Love The Grannery!!
Steak was underdone
My prime rib was very good. My wifes steak was under cooked, by a lot. The waitress apologized but did nothing about it. For the price of the restaurant I expected better than that. Vegetarian options: The salad wagon, did not look enticing and if that was what I ordered, I would have been disappointed (we had a look at it and did not order it)
This place....Want the homestead meal feel?? They got it!! Want the best cuts of meet cooked exactly how you ask?? They do it!! Want organized and tentative staff? They got it!! Want a clean and warming and chill environment?? This is is the place! Ive loved going here for years! Very welcoming, everything is so very clean and the staff are just awesome! No miserable, life hating staff here!! Highly highly recommended all day!
Very good local steakhouse. Prime Rib is the specialty. Everything is done very well and it is at least as good as any of the chain steakhouses for food, service, and value. Nice to have a solid local option that stacks up well against the many others that do a similar thing.
Fantastic quality food, and wonderful service, but found it to be a little dark in there though.
The food was excellent and the waitress did an amazing job. She served 10 people flawlessly. Very nice.
Hailey was our awesome server, super friendly and attentive. Food was really good.
Great and friendly service...the food was awesome...will definitely go back
Do yourself a favor and get the Peanutbutter Pie. Got the prime rib and mushroom caps also, all very delicious.
Top class food
5 stars from start to finish, servers, food and atmosphere the best in Saskatoon!
The kids wanted to celebrate Fathers Day, so we came, not bad.
Ive known of the Granary for most of my life and Im 57! Finally went last week- VERY good amd reasonable prices! Loved the salad wagon!!!!
Had the prime rib, was absolutely excellent lots of flavour! Was very busy but service was still great our waitress, Sarah was funny and help. I would come back for sure
Prime was great! Excellent service, everything was perfect. Had a good Ceasars too. Sarah was super funny and very quick. We are very happy with our experience and will tell others
Never cheap but always great service and wonderful food. The antiques and the decor give it a distinctly Saskatchewan atmosphere. There are lots of great restaurants in Saskatoon but it is always good to come back to the Granary. Parking: Safe and easy parking
Always have a great time at the Granary Appies delicious service was great
The prime rib is ridiculously good.
Went to The Granary tonight, for the first time in a while, was not overly impressed. Either our server had too many tables to serve, or was just not that efficient. We had to keep looking for them, plus had to ask for the standard bread that is served to every table before the meal. So,,, the bread,, not a fresh baked mini loaf anymore, it was chunks of thick , almost focaccia like bread, which was no where near as good as the mini loaves they used to serve. Our appetizers were very good. I had chicken, had trouble cutting though it, another person had a steak, was tough. Our server was very pleasant, just not around much. Will probably not go back. When you spend over $200 for three meals, you don t expect tough meat.
We visited here both for my birthday and our wedding anniversary. Between April when our meals were extremely high and quality taste and flavors...to a bit less of a WOW experience in June. Apparently, their top chef retired after 40 some years. Ugh. Otherwise....still very yummy.
Best prime rib after having it 3 times. Other food is quite good as well.
Went to the lounge tonight and had some appetizers and drinks. The food was very good and the service was even better! Our server Sarah was super friendly, fast, and funny. My whisky sour was made perfectly. We will definitely be coming back.
We had a great evening out. The food was delicious and service fantastic. There was never a moment when we needed to try and get someones attention. Will certainly go back as we frequent Saskatoon a fair bit.
Absolutely incredible restaurant. 10/10
We had the prime rib and a ribeye steak. They were cooked well, juicy and tender. But they didnt salt the meat properly before cooking. The ribeye had absolutely no saltiness in it. Not sure if this is how they cook the steaks or the chef forgot seasoning before cooking. This is also the first time I see butter being served in a single use plastic to go kind container in a steakhouse. I would imagine proper servewares would not only look a lot better but also cheaper to use. The overall experience is just okay, the lack of salt in the meat is a major let down despite good quality beef. Probably wont visit again.
We have been to this establishment a few times now and each time the food is excellent, the service is excellent and a charming atmosphere. Prices are quite good compared to its competitors. The portions are very good... I had the prime rib and my wife had the steak. I recommend giving it a try. Parking: Large parking lot and free
Prime rib was great! Our server Hailey was a sweetheart. Just the right amount of conversation to feel at home!
Excellent service by the waitress Sarah, the auality of the food is excellent. Prime rib is incredible! Highly recommend, well be back!
Service was great. The food was average. The prime rib they are known for is average a best. Steak was better. Pricing however was good.
Great food and service
Great place, service was awesome and the food had great flavor. The peanut butter pie is the best dessert I have had in such a long time. Cant wait to go back.
The best all around!
Prime rib was rediculously full of fat. Told the server, his teply was thats what we get from our distributor. WHAT THE ...!!!!Service was terribly slow even though there were only a couple tables. NEVER AGAIN
Went for dinner with friends on Saturday. The food was excellent, though a bit pricey. Service was friendly, but a bit forgetful. All-in-all, a pleasant evening out.
Love eating here when I have a beef craving.. always get their bacon wrapped scallops and prime rib... never been disappointed.. best place in Saskatoon for prime rib and very fair pricing.. love everything about this place ..
I had a delicious appi and beverage, special of the day. Would definitely recommend
SARAH was phenomenal (I would highly recommend sitting in her section if you can, request it.) & the food was great, as always.
Service and atmosphere was very good, but someone has dropped the ball in the kitchen. Standards were way down to the level of unprofessional. The ribs tasted like they were pre-packaged and were extremely dry. When we asked for more sauce the kitchen put cold barbecue sauce on them and sent them back out! The salmon was also very dry/overcooked and had to be returned twice because it was inedible. We also had the prime rib, which was tender, but lacking seasoning and extremely fatty. And, having ordered the crab and asparagus add on, what a surprise to find it was not CRAB, it was POLLOCK. The waitress (and manager) confirmed this without batting an eyelash. While it said crab on the menu they admitted that they actually use a combination of real and fake crab. If this were Bonanza, that might be ok, but when people pay extra for that in a fine dining restaurant, they expect REAL CRAB. Pollock is also made of gilled fish, and is very dangerous to substitute (covertly) due to allergies. They re luckily no one has had an anaphylactic reaction - yet. Overall was not a good experience, which is sad because we thought the Granary stood for quality. We won t be back.
Excellent meal and service. Staff attentive and knowledgeable. All four meals came as ordered (medium rare and medium). The Prime Rib was delicious, as were my friends steaks. Excellent wine selection. Parking: Parking available on three sides directly adjacent to the restaurant.
Good food. Cool old farm atmosphere.
As much as we loved the food and service, the Deserts were
Food is great. Excellent staff. And lovely atmosphere. But the most thing that I appreciated was the staff. They re very lovely people
Good food, amazing service. Fit us in in less than 20 minutes on a very booked night when we had no reservation. Extremely kind and went the extra mile.
I cannot say enough good things. We are from northern Manitoba and were here for a night. I now need to come back to saskatoon for nothing more than eating at this restaurant. I could pull the prime rib apart with nothing more than my fork and spoon. The brocolli soup, I could literally eat just that for the rest of my life and be happy. Server was on point with our order and didnt bug us left right and center just had drinks topped up when needed. I cannot wait to be back!
Food was delicious and the waitress we had was absolutely amazing. Thank you Hailey for making our evening a great one. Food
First time coming here for a business trip. This place was amazing. Great food. Great service. Great times. If Im ever in town again will definitely be back here for dinner.
Wonderful prime rib!
High beer prices. No beer prices on drink menu. Curious. Ordered a pint of coors light. Charged $9.75. Ooof.
Perfect place to try cuisines and bear
Great dining experience. Food was great an service was just as good.
Good place. Tuesday deal is awesome!
Excellent experience all together. Get the salad wagon....its worth it. I had the prime rib and it was excellent. Nice 0lave for a nice night out with wife. Atmosphere is perfect. Food was perfect. It wasnt cheap, but we didnt cheap out. They didnt have pickerel cheeks Im stock, so that was a let down, but the rest made up for it. 4.5 stars if I could just due to a regulat menu item not being available.
Best (and only) farm themed restaurant Ive been to. I particularly enjoyed the pecan crusted chicken stuffed with brie and apple. I also like that their childrens menu has several options including steak so the kids can have a special night out too. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available
Always a nice experience. Great food!
Had Pauls coffee...tastes just as good as 20 years ago!
One of mine and my beautiful wifes best experiences. Friendly, amazing service. Even those few words do not describe how great the food was. Were from Alberta, I cant think of any place better. Food
EXCELLENT Prime Rib, definitely the best in the city! Dietary restrictions: They were very knowledgable about their gluten free options which was nice BUT took it upon themselves to opt the entire table out of the bread and butter which was very disappointing for the non gluten allergy folk
I had the 6 once New York steak. Its not that big to begin with i found it tobe very fat sound the outside with is normal to a point. Unfortunately even through the steak it was very faty as well.
Ordered calamari for a starter came out hot and fast- very delicious- The filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes added garlic shrimp skewer. Steak undercooked , hair on the shrimp skewer. Food cold. Prime rib with baked potato also cold food. Food
Went in with my wife for our anniversary. My food was fine but she ordered the filet mignon, medium rare. The edges were okay but when she got to the middle it was blue rare, if not raw. It was cold to the touch. When the server finally came back to our table we told her about it and showed her. Her response was it s a little late to do anything about it now. And she gave us a free $8 dessert. Her meal was $40 which should have been refunded rather than an $8 dessert. We will find somewhere else to go for our next anniversary.
Aside from starting to look a bit dated on the outside the food is still top shelf! The prime rib is still among the best in the city and a ton of food for any appetite!
We waited for 10 minutes before our waiter came over. I waited for 65 minutes before I received my meal. Our waiter didnt ask if it was a special occasion...it was my birthday. He tried to overcompensate by talking at us about his experience at another restaurant... blowing his own trumpet. He called me baby twice which offended me. The free desserts didnt compensate enough. I have enjoyed this restaurant for 20 plus years but am sad to say that this experience left me feeling awful and I wont be returning.
Nice restaurant, good food. But The wait for service is somewhat long.
Great food, excellent service
I had a dinner in the Granary just two hours ago. The steak was good but was not paired with the veggies of my choice. They said they keep only seasonal veggies options. Some of the essential menu items were verbally communicated yet the same thing could be shown in the menu to choose from. The waitress also confused us about the salad bar option and stopped my 10 year old daughter from a refill which led her to embarrassment and scared that she couldn t finish her food later. Instead she could have explained it to us later or charge us extra. To add, the service was slow. If they need twenty minutes to set up a dessert, they could ask us at the time of placing the order. The ice-cream was late that we had to cancel it after waiting for nearly twenty minutes.
Great food and great staff
Our all time favorite
i ve been here twice now and both times have not disappointed whatsoever. staff is always friending and very helpful. the food is always delicious as well. they also gave me a discount on the bill for it being my birthday which was nice. i will be coming back.
The prime rib was absolutely perfect! And the service was top shelf! Its worth every penny and I will definitely be back.
Took some friends that came in from the states. We always go for a steak meal when we get together. Chose Here as we haven t been in awhile and it was fantastic. From start to finish service was great. Good great . Will definitely go back again . Skip the trendy places that have small portions with a big price tag and go here . You get great service , good portions and reasonable prices
The salad bar was great as was the staff. Unfortunately I had burnt ribs and my husband recieved a rare steak over medium. I did not eat my meal. So not high on my list to go back to.
Came for drinks and appetizers in the lounge. Had great conversation with wonderful service.
We went for my birthday supper tonight. Excellent service, the prime rib was outstanding. Parking: Lots of good parking available
One of the best restaurants in Saskatoon for an authentic local experience, and the prime rib never disappoints.
Got a NY strip that was cut like a baseball for some reason. Sides and crab were good. Disappointing steak.
