804 E Portage Ave, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783, United States
Landmark known for its 200 mounted animals & hunting lodge vibe doles out North Michigan fare.
Uh.. horrible. The server didn’t know what bourbon was. I ordered the BCB, bacon cheese burger with house made beer cheese sauce. Server didn’t as how I wanted it cooked. I like flavor, I prefer not to take a drink in order to swallow my food. Most over cooked burger I’ve had. Only two strips of bacon. And here is the kicker. I ordered Knob Creek bourbon, on the rocks. I got charged for rocks. My accountant wife wanted me to snag a manager, but we’re on our anniversary trip and I didn’t want get all shitty with some poor college kid working at a shitty diner on a Sunday evening. The wife said her salad was good. My burger was bad, the fries were greasy and soggy and my bourbon came in a weird glass and I paid $4.00 for ice. I’d give zero stars if I could. Coming from a dude who ate goat soup from a dirty canteen cup on a roadside in Afghanistan and thought it was ok, this place is below that.
One of those word of mouth type places that everyone has heard about. Lots of taxidermy to view. The food was ok. We got the takeout lunchbox meals and the price was pretty good.
Tried this place out randomly while passing through town with my husband. The atmosphere fits the name 100% 🤣 I was expecting the stereotypical antler lights above the tables and some deer heads on the wall. What we got was a whole vibe of taxidermy and small town sentimental details ❤️ The food was delicious and simple and service was good. The only thing that was odd was the buzzer that they rang when the food came out. I could only imagine how annoying that would be for the servers there 🙄😅
Great menu selection! Reasonable prices! Atmosphere was amazing! Wait staff was very friendly and shared a lot of great history of the restaurant and building! Two things to note - there are two small steps down into the restaurant area. And there are a number of mounted animals in the building.
My wife and I had an early dinner here today. Our server Jenna was fabulous. We ate the fried whitefish and ribs. The food was excellent and fresh. I recommend it.
The food was fresh and good except for my fried whitefish which was fishy, not fresh compared to whitefish I have had at many other restaurants. This is a great restaurant for young families. Kids can have a great time trying to identify all the critters. The servers ring sirens and bells, if you ask them: very loud, but fun! Just ask them to be sure the whitefish is FRESH! My family has eaten at this restaurant for decades and will continue to come!
A really cool place with an awesome atmosphere. Was last here 21 years ago. Got the cheeseburger (single) and fries. Fries were real skimpy and tasted just ok. The burger was good, but nothing spectacular. Worth stopping in if you come up this way!
This was a last-minute idea and had no idea what to expect. We are all very happy we decided to stop in and eat. The atmosphere is electric! Every hour or so their a boat whistle that goes off (they warn you first). The food was great and fast to the table. My only wish is they had a whitefish sandwich that was not breaded and deep-fried. But that is what I ordered and it was good and huge! We were going to get ice cream at the ice cream room they have but no one was working the counter as we waited a 5 or so minutes. There was a worker at a table 5 feet from the counter on break eating their dinner who could have let us know that no one was working or she was on break and would a while...but instead looked at us and went right back to eating. We did not bother them as we could tell they were on break. Even the hosts that tabled people saw us but said nothing as there was a big line to get in. Even though we didn't get ice cream the rest of the experience was great and we would go back.
We did the $6 takeout meals, best value in town! Every. Time. Fish, chikn, burger basket w/ FFs
Best food for very very affordable price. Loved this place! Iconic Sault Ste. Marie place!
Large restaurant and grill with a unique dining room - full of stuffed animals and antlers.
Pleased
Awesome decor and scenery. Food was okay, salads were way overpriced for what they were.
Awesome restaurant
Corey, was a fantastic server! 5star service and a nice chat as well. Great atmosphere. Thanks from Sydney Australia .... Go see the world Corey
food was awesome, the wait staff was awesome. the decor of this place is very unique and like no other restaurant. the history of how it came about is like no other and a little suprise comes your way with all the bells and whistles. Go there and see/hear for your self.
Very interesting place
Great friendly service Great atmosphere Great food Great location to have some food and watch the freighters go by
Very nice place, good food and good service!
Wow, I will say that this was the most unique eating experience of our vacation. The variety of animals on display was amazing.
The food was phenomenal and the service was great! Our server, Cory was kind, friendly and checked in on us several times. Everything about the place was awesome!
I got the pollock fish and it was amazing. Dayna was our server she is great. The food fast and hot.
Wasnt as good as it used to be, and pricey.
Cory was an excellent server very attentive. We stopped in for lunch on October 11th and had an amazing lunch. Great atmosphere we will travel back again!
The food was good. the service was very good and got everything we asked for. I would definitely go back.
Really great for my first time Dietary restrictions: Not much selection for Celiac (gluten free) Food : 4/5 |
We only had appetizers, so average food. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals though. If you enjoy taxidermy, this is the place for you!
Very interesting place, tons of taxidermy specimens. We arrived an hour before closing, and they were very accommodating. Parking: Plenty of parking, large parking lot. Easy in and out. Kid-friendliness: Several arcade games, kids menu, coloring page and crayons, and lots of animals to look at.
Kid-friendliness: There is a mini arcade for kids to play and win prizes while you wait for the food or the get in the restaurant Food
I wanted to like this restaurant so much when I saw the photos of the interior, but was very disappointed. Ordered the chicken sandwich and the best thing about it was the french fries. Service was great, but every few minutes an alarm went off and it was a sensory nightmare - I assume it s to alert the servers that an order was ready from the kitchen. It felt more like there was a hockey game inside my head. My guess is people come here for the fish, bbq, or bar. Not trying to bad mouth a local spot, I am just a tourist, but this was not a meal I d have again.
Today we just got the $6.00 take-out box. They have fish, fries & coleslaw; BBQ pulled pork sandwich & fries; chicken tenders & fries; hamburger & fries; grill cheese & fries. Delicious. Thank you Antlers.
Good food, fun atmosphere. White fish sandwich was very good.
The place is Great. Food is always fantastic but I think Im just getting tired of going there all the time when we go up North. Their original french onion soup was fantastic but for some reason they changed it. And Ill tell you their floor needs help. It is so uneven and damaged. take your time walking on it So you dont fall
Drinks & the bartender were great! The food was over seasoned which I never thought was possible until now. The insane amount of salt used ON the fries AND in the gravy for our poutine fries and the unbearable amount of seasoning for our chili fries made our food inedible. I used to always recommend this place. Im too embarrassed to now. Are you tasting what youre serving??
Staff is great, food, not so much. A couple of people in our group got the pulled pork and it was pretty good. Chicken breast sandwich was terrible, couldnt even bite it off and the chicken was half the size of the bun. Chili cheese fries were wet. Wait staff was attentive.
Really disappointed with service!!!!! Called ahead of time to see about reservations and to give a 3 day notice about a group of us (15 people) that will be coming by for lunch (day before labor day) and we get told that we wont be seated or served. I understand its a holiday weekend and its going to be busy but at NO reason should we be denied any type of service; especially when we respectfully ask/gave more then a 24 hour notice so you can be prepared. What kind of customer service is that?!?!? I have ALWAYS enjoyed the restaurant and food for MANY years to where its become a tradition for my husband and I to stop by EVERY year we visit the U.P and now we get denied due to a group size. EXTREMELY rude and VERY disappointed......
our waiter was AMAZING!!! he was so nice and attentive, and our food came out quick and DELISH!!!
This is a pub. The food was good. The whitefish chowder was excellent. Its called Antlers for a reason! Vegetarian options: Salads are crisp and fresh.
great place
Great place to eat. Very up north small town vibes. A hidden gem if you will. Views of Saint Marys river and any ships coming in or out of the soo locks. Cory was a excellent server and was so polite.
Food was decent enough. The ice cream parlor was closed by the time we got there. But all in all it was a good time.
Food ok, service was a bit slow
Really neat place. Great waitstaff and good, large portions of food.
The whitefish chowder was fabulous
Pretty decent, good bar food, service was great. Just one thing...my wife went to use the womens restroom and was totally disgusted, two stalls available, one was blown up (FILTHY), the other stall was plugged up and unusable. I told her to go use the mens room which was nice, clean, and well maintained . She notify restaurant staff, they said Ok.
Ordered the White fish plate. It was the smallest piece of fish I was ever served. It tasted like it was fried in old oil too. My fries were cold and overcooked. I do not recommend this place. Sub par food.
We had a great waitress! She was so helpful and attentive. The food was great! This is a must when in Sault Ste Marie!
This used to be a regular stop back in the day. This was the first time back in about 10 yrs . Still good food , service was ok . Believe it was a newer server.
Burger was good, but the fish sandwich was a piece if breaded fish on a bun. Lettuce etc was extra. Fries were warm not hot. Service was great. Lots of taxidermy. Interesting place.
You gotta try the chili <- Highly recommend
Great atmosphere, great food. Hostess even asked my parents to wait so she could lower a ramp because of the stairs lead down to the main floor. Bell and whistles blow for birthdays and novelty. Managers do come by and for warn you prior to. Buzzer goes for kitchen to alert wait staff for meals that are ready. Taxidermy animals abound for your amusement!
Food was excellent great customer service prices are good waitresses are very polite and understanding especially when it comes to kids Kid-friendliness: The waitresses are very kid friendly and understanding
Not great, not terrible. Bigger on the inside
Good service and food
Love this place food is good and people are nice
Youre gonna know how it got its name real quick... Nice atmosphere, great food, louder than some places but they lean into it... The apple crumble was worth coming back again just for coffee and dessert Food : 5/5 |
Had a berger it was fantastic!! Also came with homemade fries that were awesome! The staff was extremely nice and very entertaining. Ask them to blow the horns!!
Loved the food. Their birthday celebration whistles and bells were way too loud for me, but others there liked it.
The family absolutely loved it here. The food is hot and fresh and delicious! Have ice cream and a small little arcade section to play and hang out and the atmosphere is like no other restaurant you will ever eat at staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and best food in the soo hands down ! Must visit when in the Soo!!! Parking: A large parking lot fits busses and campers Kid-friendliness: Kids loved looking at all the animals and the ice cream and games !!!!
Food was great. However they did not ask how I want my burger cooked and just chose well done: which made the meat a little dry. The sweet potatoes were really good. However for the price the amount was small.
Always good!!! Always a must stop place when I go back to homeland
It s bar food which is good if that s what you re looking for. The service (Dayna) was great but everything is mainly fried. Tried the walleye and my wife had chicken rice bowl she said it wasn t very flavorful. Salad was wilted. If I were to go again I d go at lunch and try the burger. Vegetarian options: Not a place for vegetarians.
A fun place for food and drinks with wild animals keeping watch over you.
Fresh hot food! Wait staff was very friendly! Highly recommend
I went in for ice cream and their card swipe machine was down again...
Burgers were way over cooked. Asked for house salad. Waitress came back and said they were out of lettuce. Fries came with burger, all 10 of them. Siren went off welcoming some downstate people. Was very loud and annoying. Taxidermy mounts everywhere. Havent been dusted in years. Waitress was only positive. Wont be back.
The staff was great, as was the food. Its such a cool atmosphere here, I loved all the different animals on the wall.
Stopped here on a road trip based off the pictures. The food was AMAZING! I got the Antler Burger. Best Ive ever had. Other items eaten were pulled pork and white fish. Both were excellent. 10/10 would recommend.
The place is nice and fun. The food is not good at all. Dont get the walleye.
Good food and great location right on the water
First time there. It was just all right. Had a black and blue burger and upgraded to a poutine from fries. The blue cheese was almost non existent and poutine was extremely salty. Wasnt terrible but nothing to be excited about.
Different, I will say that, lol. Worth a stop for sure, especially near closing time.
The mounts where cool but way overpriced thats about it food was alright fries where burnt service was slow waited 45 min
Overpriced for just average food , and they charge you extra for pickles on a hamburger , we won t be back
Awesome place and food was great! Loved all of the animals
Came here expecting the delicious feast of years gone by. I was disappointed to say the least. Greasy, cold, small portions, its as if they dropped my fish basket on the floor before serving. Both pieces were busted in small chunks. What fish there was tasted good! Server was excellent! Kind attentive and efficient. I think she was embarrassed about what the kitchen was putting out too. Mid week lunch crowd was small.
If you are seeking an unforgettable experience, this place may not be the best choice for a satisfying meal. Additionally, the presence of taxidermy animals scattered around the premises may not be appealing to everyone.
Love the atmosphere!! My white fish was delicious.
The restaurant is decorated with lots of stuffed wildlife and there is endless things that catch your eye. Food is ok and service was adequate.
Always a great place to stop for some awesome food.
We had cheese balls, hamburgers, hand cut fries, and the brownie sundaes and it was all amazing. The waitress was really friendly and gave recommendations for things in that area and surrounding towns. The decor is also a lot of fun to look at.
Fun place to visit. From out of state and looking for a good restaurant. Will visit again.
We loved the poutine and Bloody Marys! We are both very harsh critics when it comes to the Marys and these are outstanding!
You have to visit the antlers restaurant if you are in Sault Ste.Marie. The food is great and the collection of animals are very interesting
Was referred to give this place try by a local that knew the owner. Its cool. The atmosphere is unique for sure. The service needs help, and the food is good, but mine was a disappointment. Waitress forgot everything, heard that so much even at her other tables. As for food, my family loved their meals. They also all got their meals and were nearly done before I got my burger. Was told it would only be an added minute, turned into nearly 10 more minutes, and... it was overcooked.
Neat Antler decor! My party really liked the fish sandwiches.
Salad nothing to brag about. Tomatoe, lettuce and chicken. Lettuce wilted.
Dont get the chips and cheese, cold cheese and burnt chips
My son took me here for supper. Been here many times it was my husbands favorite place. I had pulled pork and fries. The sandwich was good but the fries were way overdone with some burnt. My son had a burger which was good but he had onion rings that were very greasey and tasted like fish.
Best poutine Ive ever had!
Foods still awesome the wait staff were friendly BUT the guy that took my order needs to work on his customer service .
Bbq ribs was pretty good. Poutine fries were really salty. Cole slaw was zesty didnt care for. Had the harvest salad was very disappointing its ice berg lettuce only with cheap sliced almonds, cranberries & 4 apple slices. So cheap should have been half the price. Waitress was not versed in the meals served there. Never came back to check on use until the very end...also forgot our coleslaw which was crappy anyway. Wouldnt waste my time or money to eat here again. Only thing going for it was the Interesting atmosphere but that not even enough of a draw here with very low quality meals & poor service.
Loves this place. Been there a few times
Great food!!! Homemade everything from sauces to pickles to hand cut fries and burgers! SO good! Poutine fries were great to share too!
Was there for lunch but I bet this would be an awesome evening spot. Love the taxidermy!
Amazing antler themed interior! Delish native whitefish!
Dont get the walleye compressed sandwich, awful couldnt eat it. My sisters burger was almost burnt, wanting it medium well. Wont go back.
This place embodies up north. Get the Philly Cheesesteak burger and sweet potato fries. Youre welcome.
Bells, whistles, lights and sirens oh, and a lot of Antlers! This family restaurant is a must if you are in the Sault Saint Marie area! Lots of great burgers to choose from, huge pizzas and a Canadian favorite, Poutine! Kinda off the main strip, but not far from the Valley Camp Ship Museum, lots of parking options in a well lit lot. This place can get busy at times so be prepared!
Great food, service, and atmosphere with fair prices. If youve never been, definitely give this place a look! Parking: Huge parking lot on site Kid-friendliness: Family friendly atmosphere
I had ordered the Pulled pork, side salad, and chili. The chili was middle and Salad could have used some more dressing. But the Pulled pork burger is absolutely 1 to none. Its a addictive sadwhich definitely good. The people working there are very respectfull and the atmosphere is welcoming. If your coming up here for the summer make sure to eat here.
Cool place good food.
Great place, food is excellent
This place has what I consider the best onion rings I have ever eaten. I wish I didnt live 300 miles away , because I would be here alot. The fish and burgers were great too. I know I will be coming back again.
Super cool restaurant that doubles as a taxidermy rescue. Rich in history that the staff will share with you.
Sadly, the parklot was empty. I remember when this place was always fun and always full. The food was not as good as it used to be. The fires were cold and limp. I couldnt eat them. The cheeseburger had minimal cheese and it was shredded cheese on the bottom bun. Too much bun and soggy with the sparse cheese on the bottom. Sadly, I understood WHY the lot was empty. I used to enjoy this place but the tables and chairs appear to be the same ones I sat in 40 years ago. The floor needs repair. The only new things are the merch you can buy. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
Wild Atmosphere, but I absolutely loved it. We were there at a very busy time.Food and service were still very good.I had the steak, but I also highly recommended the amazing burgers. Vegetarian options: My friend had one of their salads and was very good but if you are not into eating meat , it might not be the restaurant for you.
The smelts tasted like burnt old oil too much batter , nice atmosphere though !
What a great place! Great food and drinks! Friendly staff and lots to see and experience!
Fries with gravy and cheese curds, I had a grilled chicken salad that was delicious with walnuts cranberry mixed greens.
Amazing steaks and good beer!
Really awesome place to eat and the food is amazing
Great fresh walleye platter last night!
My husband an I stopped in last Friday, January 26th had a cheese burger he had pulled pork sandwich. It was good, the restaurant was not busy, just one other person sitting at bar. Not to mention they had cooler issues, an the guy was working on it, so they had limited cold beverages. When it was time to leave, the guy brought us our bill, I looked it over, all was well, my husband said he would leave the tip on table so I can just pay the bill. So the guy took the bill bought it back to table, I wrote in amount to pay an put a big circle with line through it an paid $34.69 on my debit card. Today, 2/2/24 I checked my canceled debit an the bill to Antlers cleared the bank for $41.69. A little odd that someone there put another tip on my tab. So they got double the money, since we did leave $6 cash on table. Might want to check your receipts if you plan on having something to eat. I called Antlers but he could not do anything for me without my receipt,, which I had already tossed it out. Go figure
Menu was lacking but food was ok
Awesome place and great service!
We came in with a large group of 15 people for a birthday celebration. They sat us fast and at 2 tables, kiddy corner to each other. We had 2 different waitresses. We got our orders in at different times due to 3 people from our party coming about 15 minutes late. Our food came, and it all looked delicious. The burgers were good, like homemade thick patties. My husband and my fries were cold, and they never refilled coffee unless we asked. There were 3 people drinking coffee at our table. I had a hot tea, which I only got one cup of because I didnt ask for more. We waited for our check for quite a while and had to ask for it. Ive been here before and have had great service. Such a disappointment this time.
Had fun black and blue burger lacked the black. Server awesome, the decore an experience of its own.
I would like to firstly comment by saying I would rate this place a zero, that option was not available, ordered crab legs and poutine for new years dinner. Crab legs at first taste were freezer burnt and horrible tasting, poutine was freezing cold, waitress took it back, then to return it to the table in two minutes microwaved. The poutine was stirred up, after stating they would make a fresh batch. Horrible service, waitress not returning, will never come back again. Horrible restaurant, bad service!
Place is very unique. Burger was like cat food made into a patty. Only decent thing was the cheese curds.
The food is excellent as it always has been. Portions are generous. They had to retire some of the taxidermy but the ambiance remains.
After a 45 mile bike ride a pulled pork sandwich is in order! Yummy!
This is a must place to eat when your in the Soo. Food is fantastic, Staff is awesome, and the interior decor is wild! Youre doing yourself a disservice by not checking this place out. Food
Great service, great food.. would definitely recommend!!
Great place! Food and service excellent!
Meh
My family has been going to this restaurant for years. We tried dining there today and was told by the owner that it would be an hour wait due to a tour bus with 50 people coming in to dine soon. We were told we could not make a reservation, they dont do reservations. The owner said that our family of 8 could sit at 2 different tables across the room from each other, we were not allowed to move the tables closer to one another. We were told that we could come back in an hour but we were not guaranteed a table. The owner was not friendly towards our family what so ever. NOT impressed.
Poutine was pretty good! We got the traditional poutine and the crispy chicken bbq poutine on special. Server was pretty quick and kept our drinks full! The one thing I will say is she didn t really smile, but hey, maybe she was tired or had a bad day! Regardless, the place was decorated nicely and was great overall!
Must see!
Everything was amazing at Antlers during our visit yesterday. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting the Soo Locks to stop here & eat.
The food sucked had the chicken potentine and it was nothing but a bunch of fries covered with a bunch of gravy on it with a few pieces of chicken on it it sucked had a bowl of chili and there was no beans in it it was like Hormel chili sauce and it sucked
Good just ok. Atmosphere cool.
Great burgers, fun atmosphere. We will re-visit on our next trip!
My server was very kind and attentive, and it was a relatively slow business day. Poutine here is absolutely delicious!! My only complaint is that my grilled onions seemed like they were made of plastic. As though only the dried layers of skin were sauteed in butter.
First time in the area. First restaurant to try. Will be looking for another dining experience.
Fun and unique atmosphere
Its an experience. You cant go to the Soo and not go to the Antlers.
Overall its a fun location. I found the staff to be very friendly. The food was on the salty side and could have been prepared better.
We were on a bus tour of 53 people. We were literally stuffed in the bar area and we were tightly packed together elbow to elbow. The menu only offered very, very limited choices with absolutely NO substitutions. My husband is diabetic and wouldnt allow to substitute anything for the french fries. The wait staff was very rude. We were all senior citizens and the stuffed animals all over the walls and ceilings were disgusting. Diamond Tours need to elimate this restaurant from their itinerary. No one on our bus had any good things about it.
Solid fun place to visit. The whitefish sandwich was very good. Wish they had a walleye sandwich.
Great Steak Dinner. Incredible Antler atmosphere!
We only bought ice cream but the hard serve was freezer burnt, the soft serve was too soft to go more than one inch above the cone and both cones were stale. We have eaten here in the past and the meals were great, but the trip for ice cream only was very disappointing.
Even though they had a bus before we got there and another as we were wrapping up, the service was fantastic. The display of rescued taxidermy specimens is incredible. This is an absolute must stop for anyone visiting the Soo.
Ate here years ago and remember enjoying it. Tried to go today with our kids and was greater with yeah not going to happen. We have a bus coming in. Drove an hour so our kids could experience it and they couldn t even be kind about it not being able to seat us in the foreseeable future. Was told on the way out that we could come back tomorrrow. Nah. I m good.
Fun, little quirky restaurant with a lot of history. The chicken poutine was amazing and huge portion.
Never been turned away from a restaurant because the were have a tour bus coming in 30 minutes.
Staff was completely rude and food was gordon s premade fried food. My Sangria was terrible and tasted stale. Manager was a jerk and wouldn t let us sit by our friends that we were with because they sit people based on a rotation. So they sat our friends on the opposite side of the restaurant and the next family that came they sat right next to us. I never write reviews, but this was one of the worst restaurants I ve ever been to in my life and we eat out weekly. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place and go the The Lockview restaurant.
Loads of antlers (thus the name) with animals from all over the world. Food was good too.
Only negative was the price of beer. Way higher than most other places in the Sault.
Biker friendly, and a very interesting atmosphere.
The crazy atmosphere is obviously the reason you would come here, it s not for everyone but it s good at what it s trying to be. Service on the other hand was slow and just ok. Food was just terrible I m sorry to say. Expensive, burnt, dry, tasteless. Ultimately since it s a restaurant and not a wacky natural history museum I have to give 1 star.
So many recommendations of this place. I just had to try it out. Boy, would I be in trouble if this was closer to home, the food was excellent.
Bought the Pollock Dinner and whitefish chowder soup. The food was ok . Kinda pricey for the quality of the food. The atmosphere was pretty cool but the food was average, nothing spectacular. I would not recommend this place if you re looking for an Amazing Meal.
The Antlers has been through a lot of changes over the last couple of decades. It used to be a top notch steak joint and then changed hands several times. Its now more of a burger restaurant with a small ice cream parlor added on. The food is pretty good still, and the atmosphere and decor make it worth a visit. Im happy to report that the restaurant interior is a lot cleaner than it was the last time we ate there. The last time there was a lot of dust build up visible on all of the stuffed animals and other decor in the rafters. It looks a lot better now.
We stopped by off a recommendation of another tourist to see all the antlers and animals. That was interesting for sure. Im curious when all that was last cleaned. Reading the history of the place on the menu was hilarious! Good was just okay... Nothing Ill dream about. Service could be a lot better. Our server was like David Rose if David Rose didnt care. The place wasnt busy so service must not be a priority.
Recommended by the Tower host. Good, good food, Braised chicken poutine and hot apple crisp with ice cream and whipped cream!
Amazing food. Awesome staff. Thanks
Upon being seated I could see and smell the dust, it was terrible! Then we ordered walleye dinners, fries were burnt on both plates. They brought us replacements, and they didnt look any different! So the next time around, the waitress just sat them down quickly and left!! Never going back, very disappointed. Unclean, poor food, service and high priced!!
Food was good but the service could use some improvements, especially when they playing bartender and waitress
Poor service, good food. I just didnt like sitting in a restaurant with a bunch of dead animals all over the place, ceiling and walls.
They closed as we tried to enter
Employees are respectful and the the Buffalo chicken sandwich was awesome
Great atmosphere here, many stuffed critters, all over the place The owner is very nice and friendly. Food
Very unique decor, lots of taxidermy, so dont go if that bothers you.
Burger was dry not enough food for the money
A lot to look at.
It was nice and all but the server took my food while I was eating it
Went there with a bus tour. There was 44 of us and the owner and workers were very courteous and the food was great. Recommende it to anyone.
So many things to look at! We came in the off season. Still had a great time.
Interesting place to visit.
Great experience all the way around! Delicious food and superb service! The atmosphere is both creepy and charming... dont go if youre going to be offended by the vast taxidermy collection. Excellent place.
It is an Amazing place! Definitely a stop when in the area. We had cheese curds for our appetizer. They were delicious! The side salad was generous. We both ordered the fish and fries. My husband thought it was very good. I thought it was too soggy dripping still in oil. I only gave the atmosphere a 4 star as it was freezing in the main dining room. We had to keep our coats on during our meal. One of the servers was also working in her jacket.
Update: Just like the dollar, things here have shrunk. Used to be our go-to for a quick bite, but no longer. The quality of the food has dropped dramatically, as well as portion size and presentation. Sure, the taxidermy on display is great, but in the end, you cant eat it. (Although, compared to the last burger i got there, I may have been better off eating the Jackalope or Furry Trout off the wall) Sigh, another good place gone bad.... In the end, dont waste your time or money here.
