Sweet little girl. Daughter. On her bike inside the restaurant. I didn’t really like the egg too young but it wasn’t what I should have ordered. The rice was great. My husband had sweet and sour chicken. Probably try again but won’t order same thing. No hot tea. Just soda. Better for pick up.

Idk what everyone’s problem is, China Kate is reliable, delicious Chinese food. It is just as good as any other Chinese takeout I’ve had over the years. Portion sizes are large enough to share, the staff have that place running like a well-oiled machine and order to pick up has never been more than 20-25 minutes. I love this place honestly
Orange chicken was absolutely smacking. They even gave my party desert and an extra drink free of charge, would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good Chinese place in town
I would eat here again, it wasn't bad but not the best. Hot sour soup tastes burnt. I've had other soup like this, not my thing. I'd give it another shot though. Chicken was a bit chewy, crab cheese was good but shaped weird and not a lot of filling. The fried rice was really good.
Since most Chinese restaurants use the Chinese starter kits for opening a restaurant it is hard to find a good Chinese restaurant these days. This place falls under the same tradition for restaurant starter kit food. We had broccoli and shrimp with noodles combo, chicken egg foo young with rice and chicken lo mein with rice. Portions we smaller than usual. Nothing really exciting to write about. Same traditional Chinese fare. Inexpensive. Low quality design I g area. We will most likely not come back
Some of it was really good, some not so much. General Zsos chicken, good. House Family egg foo young, good. They came in plastic dish containers. The rest in pictures, had a funny taste while in cardboard, but when put on a plate, better. So, not sure why on that 🤔 but, if I do go back, im asking for plastic go trays.
We get take out here ALLLLLL the time - they're usually faster than the time they give you, but sometimes they're so busy you have to call a few times to get through. And if anyone wonders they've done more redoing their checkout to help prevent the spread of covid-19 than most places in town. Whatever you do, make sure you get some of their pork egg rolls! But their lo mein, moo shu, and dumplings are also really good

Clean comfortable spacious restaurant. Affordable and delicious. The vegys were cooked perfectly in the meals. Vegetarian options: They actually have a soup made with vegetable broth rather than chicken.

My shrimp fried rice had 2 tiny canned shrimps and appeared to have left over pork and chicken bits. The steamed pot stickers were good..not a real clean place, table was dirty
The food here is awesome and very authentic relative to what one can get in Michigan. The only problem is its downtown Sault ste Marie and the window, passer by first take on this business is awful. They need to clean their windows. They need to clean the shades and they need to make the entrance much more inviting. Otherwise the food is wonderful and the price is fantastic. Downtown development authority needs to help them with inviting people in.
Always my favorite Chinese place. I order every time I visit the Soo. The interior needs some updates but the food and service is always great. But like anywhere they have their off days too where it may not be as good as most days. 98% of the time I have 0 issues with this place.

I got food from them last night i BBQ boneless spare rib combination platter Steamed dumplings Egg Roll and a shrimp roll And a order crab rangoon. The egg roll was small and inside of it was brown. The shrimp roll and inside of it was brown it was not fresh I got old Rotten food and the crab rangoon had zero to no cream cheese filling. I spent over 25.00. This place is a disaster they USED TO HAVE GOOD FRESH FOOD NOT ANYMORE

They claim to be out of stuff all the time and give people the wrong order the blame it on you . Wont serve people. They do give refunds which is why I give 2 stars.

The food is very good but the place has a crazy screaming Chinese woman taking orders and running the register. She is definitely in the wrong line of work and should not be interacting with customers or anyone else on this planet. She is better suited to working somewhere alone with nobody around. She was screaming because I paid for my meal with change and I could overhear her being kurt with customers who were thinking about there order or yelling at other customers for asking for more napkins. Everyone should get a discount for having to put up with a rude person. I dont know why she has to yell, it all pays the same.

Food is really good as usual but the service is always unfriendly and uninformative. I asked what was in the chicken chow mein fun and all I got was, chicken and chow mein... Very helpful. Not a huge Chinese foodie so Ive never tried it and was curious what kind of vegetables were in it if any.

I love the food at this location. Its delicious and you definitely get your moneys worth and I am a big guy and can hardly ever finish a meal with out being full. You can see into the kitchen from the service counter and I think its sort of fun to watch them make rice in the wok just because its sort of satisfying. I wish this place had more customers.
I usually like their food but I dont recommend the pork fried rice. The pork was all dried out and it was more like cut up hotdogs.
I always ask for extra spicy..they will not cook to my specifications..they dont wash the pans from customer to customer. How clean are they and cross contamination?????

The staff there is honestly so nice and wholesome. They treat you better than anywhere in town, at leas that was my experience. One time about two years ago around Christmas time I placed an order for my medium sized family, me, my son, my wife, and my brother. I somehow lost the money I went there to purchase my food with (im a regular) and the very nice lady in front told me not to worry about it, and I can pay her another time. The total amount was about 45$ mind you. So I come back the next week after Christmas and new years is over and I go to pay her for my tab and she refuses the money and says keep it like the warm hearted individual she is. So I place another order, and secretly put a 100$ in the tip jar. I go there regularly to this day, because the food is amazing but the people are even better. They are the best people in this town and deserve the best in life.

This place is racist towards Anishinaabe people in which this is our territory and original homeland. The Owners and their daughter kept looking at us and giving us stares. This was the stare of racism because they are afraid of Native/First Nations people. They were also very rude to us overall. The food was not food of any sort of substance and is not authentic Chinese. DO NOT GO HERE! Ive been to authentic Chinese restaurants in Detroit, Chicago and New York. This was not food nor Chinese. This must be food for the dumpster.

The lady working on this day was ignorant we were a little late picking up our order and she told us to learn to tell time because she had to make it all fresh. We didnt ask they chose to do that we were fine with the way it was we still had to go home so it was cold all over again and it just waisted our time as we had to sit there and wait for our food to be cooked again. And the food was over cooked very dissatisfied.

I always love their food, even though they increased the price by a dollar on their large sizes its still worth it! Id be a little wary though because you cant ask for extra fortune cookies and even if youre willing to pay for them they wont give you any more.
