The food was great and the service was even better. Nice relaxing atmosphere I would definitely recommend it.

Honestly I m not the type of person to leave a negative review but I was very upset and disappointed with the service we received while visiting Canada , this is the only restaurant we went to while up there that made us seem like an inconvenience for having a child with us. The food tasted amazing the chef did an amazing job I just wish the waiters didn t have such a shitty attitude for no reason

The menu was the same old favourites and some with a twist. Other menu items which could tease your palette. Very friendly staff with the proprietors working along side of their attentive staff. Highly recommended. 5 Food

Dirty kitchen, dirty cooks. Watched the cooks rummage around INSIDE the garbage bin before going in and cooking supper for people. Quite rude owners.

If you love hearty food, made from scratch, fresh cut potatoes, delicious flavours, and simple yumminess, this is the place in the Soo for you. Parking: The restaurant is at the corner of John and Wellington street. There is a free parking lot across the street on John Street.

We had a great time; love the vibe and the people and the food is to die for! We stumbled on the Stockhouse by sheer luck and will plan more trips to the Soo just to come back here!

We were looking for a bite to eat after going on the Agowa canyon train tour yesterday and The Stockhousecwas nearby. What an unexpected treat! My husband ordered one of the specialty poutines and I ordered the spinach pesto walnut Mac n cheese we also had the house salad with homemade oil and vinegar dressing. The food was absolutely delicious, and as we shared a bit with each other my husband was able to proclaim it the bes Mac n cheese ever! Thank you for a nice dinner.

I have gone here a couple of times and each time the staff is quite rude. I dont think Ill be returning again after my last experience of the man staff member raising his voice to me over changing the type of cheese and sauce on the stockhouse burger. The easiest way for me to order it was saying the stockhouse with sauce and cheese from the hot burger (forget the signature name); I didnt mind being charged as a customization but being almost yelled about how that isnt a stockhouse burger anymore etc. Was very unnecessary. Ive ordered the same thing each time I have gone and gotten issue from staff. The first time I went I thought the food was great. The next few times it wasnt as amazing as I remembered.

I was in the city city to watch my son play some soccer games. I was on my own for dinner so I started reading reviews on Google Maps and came upon this restaurant. The reviews all sounded so good and they were all bang on. Really enjoyed my meal and highly recommend.

Stopped in for dinner while in town. The food was great, except the Mac and cheese. IMO the noodles were overdone and the sauce was gritty. However, the poutine was AMAZING! It definitely left me wanting more. We had two servers helping us. One which seemed very bothered by my grandson. He is 6 and was having a hard time sitting still at the very beginning. She then sent another person to wait on us. The second server was very nice. They weren t busy when we arrived around 430 but as we were leaving they were starting to fill up. We would go again.

Dont bother working for these people . Very flighty and unorganized also they talk a big game but Not to be trusted. They dont post a schedule they expect you to go day to day ...super unprofessional and dont seem to understand the restaurant industry. Food is good. But definitely lack in communication skills. So to some up my experience food is good, employment opportunity not so much.

We were lucky enough to find this place on a recent visit to the area. From the minute we walked in, the staff and owners were super friendly. We were asked if we had been there before and since we had not, one of the owners took the time to give us a complete rundown of the menu options and how they are prepared (which was really great). The portions are VERY generous and the flavor is absolutely amazing. I had the clubhouse sandwich and the pickle poutine and my wife had the cheeseburger with the classic poutine and everything was top notch. You can really tell they use fresh, quality ingredients and take a lot of care and put a lot of thought in the creation and preparation of the food. This is a MUST try if you come anywhere near this area. Amazing food, extremely reasonable prices and wonderful people.

A cozy little dive restaurant and the food is fantastic. I had the Tuesday special, 1lb of wings with fries for $13.00 and they were honestly the best wings I have ever eaten. The waitress was very nice as well. Will definitely be coming back here when Im in town again.

Poutine for the win! The menu offers several jazzed-up versions of poutine. We tried varieties topped with pickles and chunks of roasted garlic. So much flavor!

I come here twice a year on my way home to visit family. It s a must stop ma and pa restaurant with incredible hearty delicious food. The owners are very kind, especially the woman who runs the place. I always tell people to stop here if they go through the Sault ! Definitely my favourite place in Sault.

Maybe not the fastest service, but excellent pulled pork on Thursday nights! My wife loved the pulled pork mac n cheese. Wheelchair accessibility: If you can wheel over the threshold its pretty easy to move around inside.

The staff was nice,wasn t that long of a wait,the food was great Kid-friendliness: My son spilt a drink and they cleaned it up and said accidents happen and cleaned it up with a smile and my other boy took to long to order and they were so patient with them

A perfectly quaint local restaurant that does everything right! The food was delivered promptly and served hot. I was able to be in and out all within 30 minutes! They have lots of fun locally inspired dishes in both name and dish construction. I ordered the Command Room Burger with an upgraded side of Coke Oven Poutine. (For those who dont know, those names are inspired by the local Steel Plant and associated Industry in the area) The meal was fantastic! The Coke Oven Poutine had my mouth watering. I am absolutely going to be ordering much much more from them in the future! (Potentially in the larger Industrial sized portions as well... ) They also offer delivery using an in-house driver, which is always great and convenient for the customer! There is a dedicated parking lot right across the street, on the East side of the building. Parking: Dedicated parking lot across the street on the East side of the building, with large signs indicating the dedicated lot.

I got the bruschetta burger that was the buger of the day delivered to me. It had feta cheese bacon and actual bruschetta on it! It was a little messy, but oh my gosh, so good. The patty was super thick and cooked to perfection. I also got a side poutine, and although it was a little salty, it was very good with actual melted cheese curds on it. I would rather have my poutine a little to salty than not salty enough in my humble opinion. Perfect portion sizes. I qm am not an adventurous eater, and i found it perfect. Im gpad i went out of my comfort zone and have now found a new favourite. Highly recommend. Just a note they took cash with delivery, and there were no sliverware offered.

Everytime I go in the white hair guy is always just staring at me and making me uncomfortable and today I call to place an order and he was nothing but a knob/rude telling me to go somewhere else because I wanted to pick up the food at 8:30 when they close at 9 they just lost a dedicated consumer and I will no longer recommend them to anyone again

Tuesday wing night is the place to be. 13$ for a pound of wings and fries. The atmosphere is fantastic and the owners are top notch. This is our number one spot to eat at.

Great hamburger and fish&chips Fresh from the butcher daily and menu items named after Algoma Steel plant lingo. We ve really enjoyed learning about these hard working people s stories about how they came to start up their restaurant.

Had to wait a while for our food to come but it was worth every second. Highly recommend, and will definitely be coming back!

A wide selection of poutine and burger options for those interested in a hearty meal. You would expect to pay more for meals like this. Our server was prompt and well versed on what customer service should look like. You will remember your dining experience here and want to come back.

Just the worse burger was so dry couldn t eat it had both meals sent back cause they forgot the cheese and bacon. Then when paying was giving extreme attitude as I was asked how was my meal and I said it was terrible and explained why. Would never recommend

Absolutely incredible! Amazing and fantastic food and service. This restaurant is a must eat in Sault Ste Marie! Right from the moment we set foot in this restaurant we were made to feel welcome and at home. Our waitress who is also an owner was friendly, warm, funny and kind. The food size was large, delicious and we did not leave hungry. I would recommend this restaurant and we will be returning again.

One of my favorite places in the Sault. I went here last week and had their burger of the week. It was a dill themed burger with pickles, feta, mozz, dill mayo, bacon and some other stuff. I turned the fries into a cheese curd poutine. The fries, on their own, are amongst the best in the city. The burger meat was well cooked, juicy, and well seasoned. The service was quick and friendly and the pricing was reasonable. The place was moderately busy for a Wednesday night which had no impact on speed or quality of service. The owners are hard working, service oriented people that I am happy to support.

Went there a few weeks ago for a couples night... I had their signature burger... After reading the menu... I felt like I was in a steel plant cafeteria by the names of the dishes... The waitresses were all very informative, friendly and cheerful. The atmosphere was great as well. I really love their little shot glasses...

Every burger is a double... you can and probably should downgrade to a single patty if youre getting poutine and orac and cheese. The Mac and cheese and poutine are good, as are the burger.

This is some of the best food in the Soo, and I ve been to almost every restaurant a dozen times. Portions are huge and the food is as excellent as the service. The location is deceiving as it s on the west end of town, but the entire environment inside is A++++

We absolutely adored eating here, it was such a comfortable atmosphere and the food itself was mouth watering. My boyfriend can not stop talking about the Mac and Cheese. So I definitely recommend others give this place a go. You wont be disappointed.

Ordered the fish & chips for the first time, it was very good minus the extra under cooked fish batter. Kinda mushy in the center, outside was crispy though. I may go back, perhaps the cook didnt realize he already dipped it in batter, before dipping it again.

Stopped here on our way back to BC and were served by the owner herself. She was extremely kind and the food was magnificent. It took my partner and I a long time to decide on what to get as there were so many appealing options. I got the stockhouse burger and wings, and my girlfriend got yam fries and buffalo chicken mac and cheese. It was delicious and the prices were great. Highly highly highly recommend eating here!

The bowls you get are probably enough for 2 entire meals. It tastes amazing, and they have a wide variety of stuff on the menu, which is constantly changing. Friendly staff, and a nice clean interior. They have a burger of the week, and daily specials. If you want alcohol, its pretty cheap here as well.

Its a bit on the expensive side for burgers and frys. For the price you will pay you will wonder if your meal comes with stockhouse stocks. (But ofcourse it doesnt besides it still wouldnt be fair for the price) The food is quiet good. Very old chick wagon style .

Orderd delivery. The fish was ao hard I had a hard time cutting it with a knife. The fries are soft and soggy so was my club sandwich. Never ordering again.

Friendly food is good and lots of it

Meh. We ordered wings (medium sauce on the side), with mac & cheese for take-out. The wings were on the dry side, and lacking in flavour. The sauce on the mac & cheese was bland and clumpy, almost as if it had separated or something. On the positive side, the mac & cheese was *huge*, and the wing sauce was tasty (pretty sure it was the same brand as Aurora s uses if that helps. For almost $15, I d expect the food to be pretty good , and not meh . Would not recommend.

The burger of the week is AMAZEBALLS! Get it while u can! This place is my go to for an amazing burgers and this one was awesome! So happy u won the Saults Best Awards! It s always amazing I order something different every time I go.. and burger of the week concept allows me to continue to do that! Not the biggest fan of the plain fries but they ll always substitute it for a poutine or salad no problem.

Ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch mac and cheese (without ranch) and it was the best mac and cheese Ive ever had! Also I highly recommend the Slag Pit if you want poutine! Seriously a hidden gem in the Sault for comfort food! You wont be disappointed!
