This is by far the best pizza ive had in town. The food is always hot, and stays hot even if it takes a while to get back home. The prices are absolutely fair for the product you're getting. The toppings are always fresh, the staff is always friendly and approachable.

The pizza wasn’t bad, however, the wings were bad that couldn’t even eat it and had to throw away. It had really bad fish smell of chicken, must be not fresh chicken. I don’t think I would want to go back. :(

The pizza is great, it's different than your average pizza. The dough is dense and sweet not airy and bubbly, the cheese is finly grated for a different texture and there might be cheddar, the pepperoni isn't the driest and has fennel seeds, the sauce is my favorite with a bit of sweetness. Waited 40 minutes so they must be popular.
Very strong taste of Yeast , the dough was very thin. But the pizza sauce was good (tasted like olives) and the cheese was good and had a generous amount. Paid 20$ for a medium pizza with bacon. I probably won't be back but I will recommend to give them a try.

First time ordering but I wanted sandwich. They advertise sandwiches but no buns. Really?? How busy are you that you can t have buns available???

Guss Pizza is an excellent pizza restaurant. The pizza is excellent. They also have a menu with burgers fries and deep fried items (mushroom caps, ravioli, etc) Gus has a very popular special. 2 slices and a drink for 5 bucks. Every person Ive had dealings with have been very kind and helpful. If you want good pizza or some good apps try Gus. Parking: Parking is located on the west side of the building. Its free parking. Theres a spot out front thats meter paid. The store is on the main floor and is wheelchair accessible.
Ordered pizza and wings tonight. It came with a free side of wedges which were really good. The wings were great! Nice and big and the breading was a light and crispy texture and not really greasy. Pizza was really good too. Generous toppings and the crust was perfect! We found the sauce to be a bit acidic and spicy, almost like a spaghetti sauce but it was still a very good pizza and reseonably priced. We will definitely eat here again next time in the Soo.
This place says open till 9 but never open after 730pm, be cautious as to your timing. When you call to ask what time closing is the response is around 8 and a phone hang up! Great pizza so I hear but never able to obtain because these hours are wrong online. I am from out of town the pizza comes highly recommended by everyone I know here, but the hrs online need to be updated

The best pizza in town. Bar none. Most places skimp on sauce and cheese, Gus does neither! Perfectly golden crust with a healthy load of frommage/ sauce ratio. But wait theres more, the wedges and wings are amazing. Truly a soo gem! Loyal customer for Life.

My sister-in-law ordered us pizza and wings for supper Christmas Eve. Order was placed by 2 pm for delivery at 4:30 pm. Was told she had to pay cash and walked to the bank to get it. By 6 pm it was clear that the 4:30 delivery wasnt happening. No pizza, no wings & nowhere else to order from by that time. Dealt there regularly or used to.

Went To order pizza like i have so many times except there was a lady there and not Gus Not sure what her deal is But man She Couldnt be bothered to help anyone she was basically yelling at the Skip the Dishes Guy i was standing behind then when it came to my turn she didnt ask, how can i help you She Just Barked very rudely What Are You Here For ? I said to order a Pizza Shes Huffed and Sighed and was like your goona have to wait like 2 hours cause im Jammed I just left !! Wont be going Back when Shes There !!

Went here in August 2021 while passing through on a road trip. Just getting around to writing my review now but wow this place really deserves it!! Got slices the first time while passing through, and was so impressed I made I point of ordering a whole pizza while passing through again heading back, and both the slices and the pizza were absolutely incredible! I don t know the next time I ll be back as I live near Toronto, but it will be at some point and I don t think I could go to SSM again without stopping here, it s just that good! Kudos to the people who operate and work here

Consistantly delicious food, amazing sauce on the pizza, and it sets the standard for wings in this town. Gus is what makes this place tho, a kind soul dispite the trials of downtown operation- he generously dishes out friendly smiles not just big portions every meal.

Great SSM style and not as doughy as the other big names, really let s the sauce, cheese and toppings sing. Definitely one of the best in town. Wings, wedges and fingers all great too. 10/10

This has been my go to pizza place for the last decade. Best za by the slice in town, and remarkably the price has remained the same since my first year of high school. Spot on cheese to sauce ratio and the crust straddles the line between chewy and crunchy to perfection. Gus (and his sister) know how to make damn good pizza.

The wings are the best!! Pizza is better than average for the Soo. The sauce is amazing and Gus knows how to cook a perfect crust. Two things that make or break a pizza experience for me. OK prices and I LOVE that they keep it small and the owners are so involved in the business, ensuring consistency.
Possibly the smallest slices in Canada and for $3 at that. Not a good quality either.
There needs to be 10+ Stars to light up for a consistent Guss. It doesnt matter when or what I buy... The best Fast food I ever bought in SSM and the same quality every time. If I had to walk a mile to get a fix from Guss it would be a very short distance for THE CHAMP Guss Ali Pizza!
In my opinion the best pizza in town the sauce is just right not to spicy not to tangy. His pizza has a rich mouth watering aroma with its own unique taste that other pizza parlors just dont have. Affordable prices too that you cant get enough of the Fantastic service offered at Guss Pizza

To everyone who complains about times/answering the phone, keep in mind Gus runs this operation by himself most days and if its not Gus it is another person running it solo as well. Patience is key, support your local businesses!

i hate when the male teenager works. he NEVER has anything in stock and ALWAYS closes early .... annoys me SO much. currently calling at 10pm on a friday night, says on the door opened till 12MIDNIGHT and no answer. walk there cause i live downtown, lights are off. when Gus works, the food is awesome but the teenager is just bullshit

Crust tasted slightly better than the box, but the box had more sauce.
The pizza was amazing, but the wings were ok I just wasnt a fan of the breading on them, and the wedges were great
