very old school authentic taste of chinese snacks and candies. i tried crispy almond candies, walnut candies, cantonese chicken cookie and the very famous sachima; all of them taste very fresh w/perfect texture. highly recommend this hidden germ!
Best Fresh small size Almond cookies ever in the GTA. Also it is very affordable compared to other large Asian supermarkets but not very fresh compared to this small Chinese Bakery!
Whenever I come to this area, Chiu Kei is a must visit! They offer traditional Cantonese bakery goods at an affordable price. For Lunar New Year I picked up a mixed box of tofu crisps, sesame cookies, and peanut fried dumplings which were all delicious and fresh! I also love buying their phoenix cookies and sachima. After buying from here once I can’t go back to regular Chinese grocery store bakery versions!!
Delicious treats at affordable price. I really like the almond cookies and egg rolls here which are very buttery and soft. They're located to East Court & Mike BBQ so you can combine a lunch + dessert trip here. Cash only :)
A small snack shop and bakery that specializes In Hong Kong and Macau style treats. Though the sesame could be roasted more and the syrup on the dough fritters could be less, I give this place five stars for selling and making treats that are not often found in Toronto. These treats aren’t quite lost arts, as you can still find stores making this stuff in Hong Kong. But to get these treats here, you normally buy mass produced stuff imported from Hong Kong at the grocery stores. So it is nice to see somewhere making small batch and local products.

Old school Hong Kong bakery that sells roasted sugar coated peanuts, almond cookies, black sesame cookies as well as dried apples, dried apricots and other yummy treats. The people who work there are friendy. Cash only. Enjoy!
Best old fashioned sachima, like when you were a kid... Gooey with just the right amount of sticky bite. They also sell their snacks in some Asian grocery stores. Look for the Chiu Kei brand. I go here or get it at the grocery store, like Foody World on Kennedy in Scarborough.
