The advertisements posted on the door are misleading. When you place your order, you’ll be surprised to see the prices have changed, with the excuse that the menu is from 2013. I visited this place two years ago with my husband, and the prices were the same as advertised. Now it seems they’re taking advantage of customers who believe the prices haven’t changed. Beware of this dishonest practice.
One of the most disgusting restaurant you will ever go too 1. Beef tehari for 17$ had one piece of meat, the cooks are chowing some stuff that keep them speating all the time , I don't know why this place is still open ? No health and safety officer will allow them to operate after what I saw there I will report them too
Do not go here and waste your money. Terrible food and even terrible customer service. Very rude.
Worst place to go and have food. They do not serve fresh food, and their customer service is also horrible. Especially, the elderly man at the cash, his attitude is intolerable.
I've been here a handful of times now and they've never disappointed! The workers are super kind and offered free samples of appetizers while we waited for the beef tehari. Their appetizers and biriyani are really good. I loved their vegetarian appetizer options, dal puri, shingara and piaju. Definitely coming back here!
You guys need to get pest control treatment for your restaurant as because you are serving food with cockroach in it. It is so disgusting . I ordered your tehari today in which I found cockroach in it. I had throw out the food.
My husband and me loves to have lunch from here and eat tehari🤩🍽 our favourite dish from restaurant. Services are great😊
Good place to taste Bangladeshi, Indian and Pakistani style food. Reasonable priced and place is also clean. Good seating area for dine in option. Owner is very polite and nice. Plenty of parking is available in the plaza.
Worst biryani bees in biryani
Tasteless food and rude customer service.
I found a hair on biryani. Should i complain or report?
Excellent
Food test was soo good.
Great food and such a great Owner who cares. Highly recommend the food.
Delicious menu! Every time I order it s always fresh and very generous with the portions. My go to spot for Bengali/Indian food. Very happy with my dinner
Very bad and rude staff, they charged me and cancel my order and nobody answered me. I would never order with them again, this is not the way you treat the customers.
I got today goat biriyani today. Worst biriyani I had ever in my life, rice is not good looks like something cheap rice they used in biriyani and meat was so hard and coming bad smell, not taste like goat biriyani, something taste like ghee biriyani, so much bad smell.
I had their chicken Biryani and daal pakora. Both tasted very fresh and delicious. The quality of the food is amazing and feels like homemade.
Ordered Adi Special biryani. Worst biryani I ever had in my life. There were very few bits and pieces of chicken, will not even make one single whole chicken piece(all bits put together). Lots of potato, and some bits of beans, cauliflower here and there. Will never ever order from here ever again!!!!
Poor service. Rotten yogurt raita!!! And poor hygiene. 0 stars
I loved chicken biryani because it was mild. Chicken peaces has to be more relevant to price though.
Customer service is disgusting, and the guys behavior is really bad. He needs to go to school to learn behavior first. He is really a bad guy. He doesnt know how to behave with customers. stupid guy.
Food, service, everything is poor. Bengalis store, I should write a good review. Unfortunately I cant. The owner of the mans behaviour is also poor. The man has no respect for a women. I had so many grocery bags in my hand & it was very heavy. I was tired. I was going to sit on chair & put my stuff on the table like what people normally do. The man crazily stopped me in a weird and harsh voice, he has no manners, bluntly ordered me to put my stuff on the floor. My bag was more clean than his table and his dirty store. At first, I wanted to leave the store immediately but my courtesy didnt let me cause the cashier lady has a motherly vibe, I couldnt ignore her smile. But now I cant say good words, their food is not good too the kabab I bought my daughter couldnt eat, Its old , rotten.
A perfect source of foods causing food poisoning.
Nothing but the behaviour of the owner is really appropriate worthy. Specially the Bangladeshi breakfasts are really good. I like to have a cup of tea from them.
I would say their behavior is way better than lots of stores specially Uncles. Their snack items also taste too good for the price but unfortunately biryanis do not taste that good to me, i would say
Expired food and Bad Biryani
They claim that Bangladeshi Birani is not
Amazing food! Great prices, great portions, no complaints what so ever. Chicken biryani cheapest and best tasting in the city!
This is the worst restaurant I have ever seen in the Bengali Committee. They sell old food. I ordered a beef tehri for iftar yesterday. You see what I got !
The place for tasty and delicious Bangladeshi food.
Eat in area is filthy.
I wish I could give zero rating..I ordered and mentioned them to not make it spicy. We received the food and opened it.The mutton biriyani smelled very bad and all the pieces were just bones. There was no taste of biriyani and tasted like it was rice and rotten mutton soaked into old kerosine oil.The Chana dal had no salt, only turmeric.Worst experience,I felt like I m gonna puke after having few portions of it.The food inspectors should inspect this place carefully .Never ever gonna spend a single penny on this restaurant. It s a shame that it s still growing their business.
Not anywhere close to being the best, did not even give raita for the chicken biryani. It was mostly rice and pretty bland.
Not professional at all.
The fries for $3.50 are okay-ish I tried their samosas from the display and turns out they were stale
Restaurant looks a bit run down but becausr of covid lockdown eat-in is not possible anyway. However, food was on point. Perfect balance of spices and freshness didnt quite match the price. Recommended for good quality and cheap Indian food.
We had singara and alu chop. Both of those were stale. Not gonna go back anymore
Their biryani is great
Rotten Halim is sold on Ramadan. I will never buy anything from this store again.
not good
Biryani tasted not good at all.
Good food.
I had ordered mughlai paratha once and was told to wait half an hour, only for them to tell me that they cannot make it because they had too many orders. Talk about great customer service! Furthermore, I was going to get some sweets for Ramadan and the storeowners said it was fresh, only for it to be a day old.
Family owned Bengali style cuisine. Friendly owner and the place is clean with sitting arrangements. Food is cooked with the utmost care by the owners wife and its all great
butter paneer and naan are very bland, the paneer was also 50% oil and barely had any paneer. Not worth it
In the entire beef tehari, there were only three-four pieces of beef.
A nice family place for a quick snack or lunch.
Thay should not show a picture of a meallanguage barrier and give you a different meal all together. SORRY THATS NOT GOOD BUSINESS
Guy screamed at me for no reason. Do not come. Period.
Best bengali food in town!
Foods are good
Best price for Somocha, Peyaju, and Singara. Their Biryani also good at price value. I like their fries combo. I guess Adis fries taste is a bit different. Fries might be comes with cheese coated. Staffs are friendly.
Great diner for South-Asian and Bangladeshi cuisine. The options are fantastic and the environment is cozy and family-oriented. Great restaurant. The owner and his team are lovely people.
Stale food. Wont buy again.
Awesome place! Friendly staff and delicious food
Ordered biryani, butter chicken, tikka, and Pepsi. The best thing about the food was the pepsi.
I bought chicken briyani for $7 it s not worth for this money it was like a rice with out curry.very worst food ever I think this restaurant owner never eat a good briyani.Even chicken also not cooked well. This food is garbage anybody don t go there.I was disappointed very much.
Very bad briyani they don t know how to make briyani. waste of money And it won t worth it discussing
Great place for deshi foods. Reasonable price.
Been ordering for 2 years now. Tandoori chicken and chicken biryani is tasty..
The biryani was very delicious and ample quantity that was not finished by me . Their guster and posture were very friendly ....
Please give me your official email address.
Greattt
I visited once, naan is not good different than others, food is just okay.
Ordered beef and chicken biryani. Taste- below average Quality- below average Beef biriyani- less meat/ more bones Salad- for two packs this much!! Are you kidding me!
Close to my house.
Food poisoning and no remorse for doing so to its customers, who have been actively supporting the business throughout the years as it is local. Trash
South Asian delicious food
Poor service
Homely
Garbage, food was cold and dry Taking your money eleswhere. .. nothing is made freah and hot here
Leg and thigh, boiled egg, chutney and salad with your large serving of biryani rice for 5 bucks. Lots of crunchy fried onions. Naan and butter chicken was really good as well. He prepared the food in front me, it is an open kitchen so you can see everything. So these are the dishes I bought and it was good. Owners were friendly.
I ordered through uber eats and the food was amazing. Daal Puri - Excellent Goat Biryani - Excellent flavorsome Goat Curry - Good Chicken Samosa - Not fresh, fried may be couple hours ago. We will order again!
Biriyani is worst. Only snacks are better
Pathetic Food. Chicken Karahi was watery. Not the authentic Pakistani Chicken Karahi. Waste of money. This is a tasteless BENGALI restaurant.
Not sure what they fed me but it was definitely not chicken biryani.. Avoid at all costs if you don t want to get sick.
it is a cheap bangladeshi food restaurant. the food is spicy and upto the mark. but the biriyani might not be upto your expectation. other than that all the foods are quite good, you can try all the other foods. all the cooks are authentic bangladeshi cooks. so if you like that type of cuisine go for it.
Not bad
Food is okay
Delicious and spicy test!
Food is not so good. Sometimes they give you food which was cooked yesterday.
Good bad lughting
I ordered mutton biryani and the rice was not cooked properly. It was hard to chew the rice.
Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine. Good food for less price
Authentic and delicious. What more can you ask for?
Very good food for reallt reasonable price.
I bought a Goat Biriyani through Skip the dishes. It caused me diarrhoea and stomach Problems for next 3 days. They sell poison not actual food.
Nice location and delicious food
Great food and excellent service
Good food and Great Price. The hospitality of the owner is very nice. Highly recommend to go there.
Feels like my own kitchen, thanks Sasa
The butter chicken is amazing!!!! I ve had it several times and I keep going just for it specifically. I ve had a few other dishes too and everything I eat from this place is absolutely phenomenal. Super well priced too. Big big fan!
I wish i didn t get in this horrible restaurant, the food was spoiled, chicken biryani was disgusting, tikka masala was full of oil, naan was cold. Worst experience ever even though the price was so high and the food doesn t worth 1 dollar. Come on you would better close the restaurant.
One of the best Goat curry and chicken Biriyani. Price is very cheap and portion is huge. will go back for sure
I always go there for dinner. price is cheap and best customer service. Owner is very nice person. He was a chef in England for over 20 years before moving to canada. must try chicken biriyani, chicken tikka and goat curry. they are also famous for their fish curries.
Good luck see the cook
no spice in biriyani
so good food
Food was ok. We found it too oily.
Best service cheap food
I just ordered from here and I am very disappointed. They didnt have Pepsi so they sent me Sprite (never called to tell me they didnt have it). They also gave me diet Coke instead of regular Coke. Their chicken biryani is really dry and their butter chicken had about 5 chunks of chicken in it. When I called (mostly about sending me the wrong pop) the guy there told me he was really busy and hung up on me. Absolutely horrible!
To be very very honest this is most horrible biriyani i ever had.I went twice there and thought would give them another chance to win me back as a customer but even the third time they served dry tasteless biriyani. So this restaurant is off my list now and im never going back.
Good food. Biriyani tastes dry, if you like dry type.
So i ordered and like thought the food wouldnt be so dry.... butter chciken was like water to butter to it. The biryani was dry and the naan was so think and burnt. All in all, the food wasnt too good and the chefs should be trained a bit more to get that consistancy. Otherwise the portion size was large and could feed 3 people for one order of chicken biryani. I must say thats the only pro, but more doesnt mean better. Unless youre beg.
Service was quite. The food was good but the kebab was a bit dry.
Most of the items are yummy
Ordered Tehari, full of oil, bellow average taste, cant even finish the food, was nt cooked fresh, wont go again.
Very bad
Worst restaurant in Toronto. The place is so dirty and you get food poisoning spending money. The staffs are extremely rude. Authority should inspect this place. Be aware.
Fried appetizers and kebab roll were both cool!! Their biryani is plain horrendous; dry chicken (subper pieces) along with makeshift drier rice.
Good food no doubt but sometime miss their own set mark. Need to be consistant in food quality. Customer servicing is very good. Inside has lot of space and quality ambience. Good for quick bite as well as small gathering.
Terrible food and restaurant is bland and old do not go here!! Save your money!!
This is the worst restaurant food I ever had in my entire life experiences in Canada .. I eat almost every two days in the restaurant.. I like South Asian food. The main point is yesterday I went to this restaurant and I ask for special two chef platters one was with kebab and another one was with biriyani.. so the biriyani platter looks good from the top. When I started tasting it the chicken kebab was super dried no taste of chicken at all it was tasting like lentils and some kind of harbs inside it and taste like sh**.. sorry for my language but this is the truth.. all the Sizller platter was over cooked dried and smell and taste like it was very old from two or three weeks back . To look their food fresh they put lots of oil over everything and they makes people to think they made it fresh which is not absolutely that case. I almost tried every restaurant in Toronto Bengali Indian and Pakistani food never had this kind of experiences in my life.. me and my hubby couldn t eat any of their sizller kebab or tandoori. The funny think is there were some chunk of chicken bbq and they look like pink from the top and totally white from the inside. And there is no taste in that only u can taste is some lemon. The rice were also old and buy make them hot every time itz became crunchy at some point. It doesn t feels like fresh rice. Every Indian restaurant or Bengali restaurant if the taste is not good at least they served fresh rice. The food is cheap but the quality of the food is more cheaper. I think the people who are working in the kitchen they are not trained at all .. even they have zero knowledge of restaurant. On top of that the Yesterday it was 38 degree Celsius outside and they had one AC in their restaurant they didn t turn on that AC. Instead there were two fan but the guy who is may be the owner or incharge didn t turn that on those two fan While we were seating on a corner. We left all the food on the table after a bite. Overall if I say I wouldn t even give them one rating bcz their quality and service both are below the range. To make it better Restaurent please change with employee or send them to school to learn about food. And should serve fresh food not the old preserved food from before.
I have never eaten a more bland biryani. Its not even worthy of being called biryani, just some rice with bland chicken.
A nice place to have Bengali food.
Good experience .Fried appetizers and kebab roll were both cool and tasty . Not a restaurant that I like to dine in but for take out was good
Chicken Biryani is good
Great food and reasonable price.
Good
Great place with great food
Good quality and quantity
Curry Goat, nothing but bones and absolutely tasteless. Sent wrong drink. Rice had colour, but also completely tasteless. Boiled Egg was Green?! Naan was very nice. Chicken Kabob was well seasoned, spiced and tasty. Seems like bare minimum seasoning being used in general. No shortage of Biriyani restaurants...That was your first and last time...period.
Good fresh food
Dont be fooled by the decor, the food that this place serves is always very tasty! The naan is the best in town and the owner takes pride in all the dishes he serves. People who complain about the price are just cheap, or used to some extremely cheap places. The prices are very fair for the quality that is being served. If you want ambiance or fancy decor, this is not the place for you.
Great experience, awesome food, Price Thank you for your amazing service. Mithu
My Sunday dinner place
Testy food with fair price.love this place
Worst biryani.
The place is kind of dirty, the service is ok. And the food is great. Perfect for family get togethers
Iftar available here, food quality needs improvements.
Very good food and affordable prices. I ordered chicken biriyani few times for 25 person get together, and it was awesome.
Very tasty Bengali food at a good price!!! Will come back again!
Ordered a chicken Biryani and naan. Burned the naan that was suppose to be a garlic but I dont even think they buttered it. Rice was bland, chicken was meh. Its cheap but there are way better choices all around this place.
Good experience. Nice and friendly environment. Food was tasty. I will come back with family
Worst food and bad customer service.
Good restaurant for a Bangladeshi style Adda with some food on the table!
By far one of the best chicken biryani in Scarborough. Portions are very big as well. I usually order through ubereats but recently did a small get-together at the restaurant. Very good service and low price.
The goat curry is to die for. The portion is huge! My wife and I usually just order the goat curry and any type of biryani and its perfect for us and our 7 y/o. The owners are super nice too! Keep it up.
They charge high price. Inside very poor lighting like Dhakas bad restaurant.
Pretty decent place. Had the kebab biryani and was ok. The price was a bit high and the kebab looked liked it was broiled and not barbecued.
I enjoy south Asian cuisine. My sons also like this restaurant because of its fresh nan rooti and chicken biriani.
As a regular customer I have to say their chicken and beef biryanies are really good. You will get huge portion for very reasonable price. Must recommend for any Bangladeshi food lovers.
chicken curry and mixed vegetable were ok but the portion was very very less.i paid $7.99 for chicken curry and it was just three small pieces of leg.You should serve the exact portion what you have charged like Hakka wow otherwise nobody will visit again.Best of Luck.
Chicken biryani is really good !
