60 Danforth Rd, Scarborough, ON M1L 3W4, Canada
This brunch sweets are dry & old bcz they keep sweets for long time & there customer service is 0 Obviously it's a bangladeshi store but they have to speak English if the opposite person doesn't even know English. it's a shame Girls they show lots of attitude in front of customers too bad 👎 Don't go there
Go to place for bangladeshi/indian sweet cravings. Their sweets are amazing and not overly drenched in sugar. Always enjoy their fresh sweets. Price is a bit steep but their quality makes up for it.
Thank you to a friend of mine who got me some sweets from here. I must say, they exceeded my expectations. The sweets were excellent, freshly prepared, and just the right amount of sweetness. I'm definitely planning to visit this place myself soon to explore all their offerings. Thank you for the delightful experience!
After my lunch today i just take 2 pcs of sweet for dessert the balushai is already fungus on how u can sale like this sweets I should inform Toronto public health😬 Only name name premium sweets nothing else
The taste of the sweets are mostly Indian. They have wonderful packages for different occasions including wedding. Parking is huge. And their snacks are good too.
Me and my friend went there as so many people recommended to try their sweets. So we decided to have some delicious sweets. The shop was very neat and clean with nice atmosphere and environment. Customer service experience was top notch. As we went there for the first time, we asked the staff/owner what does she recommend us to try and she recommended some. We bought and tried their sweets which was delicious and mouthwatering! Before leaving the shop, the owner/staff offered to taste some more sweets which gave us an amazing experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone to try their sweets!
They maintain the same quality and taste like Bangladesh if not better. I am a regular customer there and I like everything they have. One improvement area can be the consistency. Sometimes the sweetness level defers for exact same sweets.
Loved everything about the place. Anyone can enjoy a perfect Bangladeshi meal in a beautifully maintained environment. Must try!
sweets are dry & old because they keep sweets for long time I don t know how can you say?
I got broken glass pieces in the sanar toast and let them know but they didn t provide me any updates. Not buying anymore.Who wants to sacrifice their lives? Three pieces of glass I found.
Worst number one . They keep old sweets and sell old sweets to customers
Really loved the sweets, very good quality and taste.
A best stop for sweet/methai.
Food wasnt tasty. Place was dirty.
Very nice sweets.
I always love their anjeer halwa and mogul halwa. But this time i am not happy. Last week i took my relatives there and we had anjeer halwa within the danforth store, and there was a big pebble in the halwa. I showed that to a lady staff who was there at the store at that time. This is a serious negligence, what if someone swallows such a big pebble my mistake, what if it s consumed by a kid. If you call yourself premium ; please keep up to that name. Do some work on quality control.
The best place for Bangladeshi sweets.
IM COMING BACK, absolutely love the cream Jamon, very exquisite in taste and looks both.
Their sweets are amazing and delicious indeed..!! The rasmalai was just perfect and soft .. Will definitely try their other sweets too. Only, I personally didnt enjoy the rasgullahs (too sweet and tough bites to take) Overall, good and affordable.
We only Got goat kachchi biriyani. I think it was good but extremely overpriced 27$ considering itv was frozen biryani
amazing mango faluda. Great service by Krishna..
I tried their kaju katli today. It was perfectly smooth, chewy and good quality. Their packaging was also appealing
The branch at Danforth is really awesome. Lots of varieties to choose from, friendly staff, great service. The atmosphere is good and its worth a shot for sweet lovers!
Good Service. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to people.
Yummy expensive
Traveled all the way from downtown. Place was really nice. The person on the counter Trishna was very helpful. Tried couple of varieties. Vogh sagar was the best. Barfi wasn t good as it was expected. Trishna let us try few different flavours. Will go again for vogh sagar and malai curry.
Original Bengle sweet & Snacks shop, sister branch of Premium Sweets
Not many options and all the sweets be came small and expensive
Vegetarian options: Lots of options Food
Pricey but good quality foods....especially if you want to give a gift
By the sign, I thought this was a knock-off premium sweets, but this is indeed the real Premium Sweets!
One of the finest sweets in town.
An excellent restaurant for Bangladeshi-style food. Plethora of items are available on the menu. I tried Walima Chicken Roast, Kala Vhuna, and Beef Tehari (photos attached) - each of the item has its distinctive taste and flavor, i.e., roast was sweet and creamy. Last but not the least, sweets (e.g., Kalo Jam) were tasty as well. But I had better in Vancouver.
First time buying from this store, but can t recommend enough. The sweets are amazing! The staff was super helpful and very welcoming. Will definitely come again.
So good, the kaju barfi was less sweet than Im used to which I liked, the taste of the cashew really shines through. Amazing staff as well, got to try a few samples :)
Quality sweets as well as nice service. Normally most of the Bengali shops/ restaurants dont know manner or how to behave professionally with customers. However it felt like Premium Sweets is a different one. Food quality is nice and affordable as well. Best of luck for them.
Took 1 freakin hour to serve us. There was a huge line of people waiting. And just one person working and slow as heck as well. Bad experience
Undoubtedly best sweet in North America but price is absolutely too high, they should think about making profit with volume, reduce price and let people enjoy their sweet more frequently. then only they deserve only, five
Why do you guys put a old almond nut inside the Kachagolla sweet? Please dont put nut in your kachagolla, if you really want to put nut then use fresh nut.
Too expensive.
Take it from someone who has lived in countries where these sweets are local delicacies, Premium sweets makes very high quality desi sweets. You may not like the flavour of all of the different types of sweets they have, just like a certain brand or style of chocolate may not be your thing - but it is undeniable that they really care about the quality and freshness of the ingredients in their sweets. If you havent tried these kinds of sweets before, I highly recommend trying this location.
Very delicious Sweets. Absolutely EXPENSIVE.
Fancy for sweets? Well you can get yourself a treat from Premium Sweets. Fuchka, chotpoti, doi, tehari, shingara, samocha you will get it all. It s kinda expensive being middle of nowhere.
Best Sweets....
Had this place in my wishlist for while after having heard good review from my friend and ended up ordering last night. Ordered Goat Rezala, Khushbu Pulao and Morog Polao. We especially wanted to try their Goat Rezala after hearing good things from my friend. The rezala gravy was good enough, however the meat was not tender at all. Its a shame that they are getting a lower rating just because they were not able to cook the meat for a few more minutes, having done the rest of the things well. The rice items were good.
A bit pricey but the sweets are top notch. Try the roshomalai!!!
Authentic Bengali sweet shop
This place needs more work and more care for customers.
Amazing sweets, highly recommend.
Their services are better than other branches.
I paid 18 for this stupid jilapi! Always love their jilapi but this is worsts ever.
Best taste
Okay so what has happened to their jilapis this year? Another reviewer mentioned the same issue. They had the best jilapis in my opinion and every ramadan, i would eagerly wait for their jilapis. This year was nothing different. So I ordered them and they are nothing like before. The taste & colour has completely changed. Also, they used to be fried with ghee before but now they are not. Instead, prices have gone up. I would have still paid the same if they had kept the same jilapis. Its a shame they taste awful nowadays.
Nice taste and has some varieties
Good service Good food Professional Sweets are sooo good.
Amazing food junction. Specialty in authentic Bengali sweets. But also popular for snacks. Highly recommended.
They always maintain their quality and taste. Service sometimes on weekend is very poor due to high volume customers at the restaurants, they dont have fixed person at cash n sweet counter. Price is too High
The food is fresh and the taste of the sweets and street foods are delish and live upto their name. Line ups are long, but the wait is worth it. Their rice dishes are decent but dont live upto the hype. Take outs are a better option compared to dining in. Staff could be better mannered for the premium price that they charge.
Terrible service and the sweets are overpriced and taste terrible. Avoid at all cost!!!
Employee are rude.
They have really nice bengali samosas.
Bad service
Worst restaurant ever, during store hours they just closed the restaurant, when we were knocking on door and the girl just laughing and didnt open the gate, she was not on her break. Even if ur on break it doesnt mean you laugh on someone or lock the door. Owner has to look after whats going on here. Respect ur customers!!!!!!!!!!!
I get the best meat, chicken and any other grocery that I need I love it there
My experience was great & employees that were working served me fast & very knowledgeable as well
Sooo goooood! So hard to stop eating...
So happy to have found this place. You can get decent chenna sweets
Good
Yummy!!
Sweets are really good and Ghee is also superb .. Little bit costly !!!
Good quality and delicious sweets...I love it
best bangladeshi sweet place
Really good bengali mithai. Reminds me of Bangladesh
Authentic Bangladeshi sweets. Little bit expensive than others.
Never have I had samosa with carrots in it.. Not at all impressed.
Great place for Indian sweets.
Good quality sweets, always come back to the store.
good quality sweets
One of the best Gulab jamuns I have had in Canada. Must try place for Indian sweets especially if you are a big fan of Gulab jamun
Poor customer service casher have no idea how to deal with customer
Malai curry sweet is awesome here
Nice place to have so many varieties of sweets
Nimkins (Nimki) are just drenched in oil. You can tell from the paper bag in the picture. After the Nimkin are deep fried you are suppose to strain the oil. I have bought from here multiple times and found Nimikins were not strained properly.
Presentation 5* Ambiance 5* Quality 1* Quantity compared to price 1* Sweets compared to price 1*
Best Bengali sweets in town
great
Great quality sweets. Their dahi fuchka was pretty good but their hot chotpoti was lukewarm and too sweet.
Tasty sweets
Alhamdulliah consistently good
Very good quality sweets but little bit pricey.
Best sweet shop in the region... you must try their Kacha Sana, Balusai, Rabri, Nadia sandesh .... I really love their cleanliness and the quality of the sweets. I was in Cincinnati,USA for the last 7 years and not a single sweet shop is coming to 50% close to the taste and quality of this place. After a long time I am not not missing sweets of my home-town Kolkata also the anrorikota of the ladies who gives the sweets, is very beautiful. Lovely place, lovely people and lovely sweets.
One of the finest bangladeshi stores. Other than the sweets, the jhal muri is mouth watering.
If you want some high end Indian sweets, then this is the place to go.
Good place to buy sweet but the receptionist are always in a hurry. Dont give much time to the customer to browse.
Probably one of the best mithai (sweets) in gta. Got them for my engagement and they were loved by 100% of my guests
It was really bad. It did not taste good
Great place to satisfy your sweet tooth friendly and patient service
Small place, services not like other stores of premium sweets of Canada, staff is not friendly,i had to buy something but didnt like to visit this place
Great tasting sweets!
Awesome sweet treats to enjoy and go back for more.
Very good customer service
First time went here and had asked the cashier for their recommendation, they really do have amazing sweets! Highly recommended!
Best place for Bangladeshi people
I found that this location did not enforce any form of social distancing inside with customers. In addition many of the customers were not wearing masks or gloves and the cash register did not have any barrier between it and the customers and the debit machines were not cleaned after use. I did not feel safe as the store did not show any effort to protect its customers in midst of this pandemic.
The sweets here are absolutely delectable! All of the sweets were fresh and tasty! The employee working there was friendly and helpful as well! I will definitely be coming back here for Indian sweets!
Very nice place and sweets were so good. I never tried bengali sweets but the girl at the front recommended me what should try and the sweets were very nice and fresh. Place was also neat and clean.
So far good...
The sweets were very tasty and the customer service given by girl named hars was very freindly and kind.
Quality sweets and desserts are available. They will give you the best confectionery as per your interest. Reasonable pricing. Staff behaviour is so cordial. I prefer this place to hangout with my family.
We ordered kacchi biriyani, tehari and some sweets online. Kacchi and Tehari were the best we had in Toronto. The packaging was really good and the food remained fresh after almost a week in the fridge. The sweets were extremely sugary- fit for the sweet tooths but not for the people who prefer halka mishti (light sugar).
We got some sweets for diwali and they have really good and authentic Indian and Bengali sweets. The staff was really helpful. Keep up the good work.
The best mithai in the universe. Thank you premium sweets for never compromising on your standards.
Some sweets may be unavailable at this time. I like the sweets. Mouth watering
Im just in love with the Fuchka made by the pretty skinny young girl.I try three times that fuchka. But the two times she made was really mind blowing..I just love the fuchka she made. And their behaviour is quite friendly.
Good service and excellent sweets
Good quality and excellent services
Not a wide collection of sweets...however the Rasgulla that I got from here were delicious..but I was expecting much wider collection of sweets given its a sweets shop
Tasty and quality Asian sweets and Halal foods and good service.
Their sweet are best in the town. I love the variety. The service is awesome. Only issue at time when its rush hour, then it takes lot of time to place your order.
Nice and clean
Best best in world
I Ordered extremely well done salmon and the waitress Pawan said ok but when she served, it wasnt extremely well done. When I told her she said that is how it ii always done with an unpleasant attitude. She did not even say a word sorry. Further she did not come to the table to ask how the food was with my other family members. We have a very bad experience earlier with the same person. It came to a point where we dont want have this waitress again and want to order the food to take out as she is such a terrible person. We tipped because of the other guy who assisted to bring me empty containers to take the salmon home. This person is terrible.
Its ok for what it is. Dont go with high expectations.. its nothing like Kolkata/Bengal.
Its good, the sales girl is very nice, friendly and humble.
Very very lesssssss quantity.....full price for tasty food but fill half stomach...
Great place to dine for two.
