Ive been meaning to write this review, so I apologize in advance for the delay. About a month ago, myself a small group of friends made a last minute decision to stop at your establishment for an impromptu dinner and drinks. Upon arrival, we were greates with courtesy and attention. Our servers name was Brit, and she was very welcoming and uber friendly. Her demeanor was such that we all felt very relaxed and comfortable. The food was delicious and exceeded all our expectations, to be honest. You probably make the best wings in town!! Its always nice to have a server regularly check in and Im not going to lie, it was a very busy night, yet Brit made her rounds and ensured we were all well looked after. Weve been back at least one more time since then to catch a Leaf game. We shall continue to choose your location. Brit and staff, thanks for a fantastic first experience at your location. Please pass this on to the rest of the staff and the hard working people in the kitchen!! Its great to go to a place where quality service and experience still means something.

We had a great meal at Jack Astor s Scarborough tonight. Our kids loved all of the Christmas decorations (lots of inflatables, lights, etc). Our server, Victor was so attentive, friendly and proactive (greatly appreciated when dining with small kids). Food was fast and fresh and exactly as we ordered it. Thanks Victor for your hard work! Kid-friendliness: Amazing place with kids. Menu has good options and includes drink and decent dessert choices. Right now- it s all decorated for Christmas (lots of inflatables, lights, etc). Kids will enjoy seeing all of it!

I m quite indecisive but he was patient and enthusiastic to share his recommendations! I went with the cacio pepe tortellini with chicken which was fantastic! For dessert he recommended the sticky toffee pudding my new favourite here!! The bar-style atmosphere is spacious, making it great for groups. The highlight of my visit was the OG Chicken Fried Chicken. The hand-breaded chicken breast was perfectly fried, paired with creamy mashed potatoes, seasoned beans, and topped with a rich, flavourful white gravy. It s a bit pricey at $30.99, but the quality justifies the cost. Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Jack Astor s is a great choice for good food and a fun, festive atmosphere, especially during the holiday season.

Used to frequent Jacks many years ago, before this rebrand. The food is okay and consistent for the most part. Towards the end of our meal, our server gave us this performance of how to tip on the machine as it was not included on our bill. As he was going around settling everyone s bill, he showed us the machine and pressed the 18% tip option instead of having the customer do that part themselves. That was very weird to me (and to most of my colleagues) as we all know how to use a machine and tip on it? That entire interaction threw me off

Took 20 mins for a drink and another 20 mins to actually put alcohol in it. If the food wasnt good and the company i was with wasnt good this establishment would be terrible. I came here a few weeks back and it took 40min to get a glass of water immediately after serving a friend at my table. Decided not to give a bad review in case that was a one off. Come the second time Im here the same ridiculous wait times are occurring, wrong drink orders. Its almost laughable. Food is pretty decent here but even that, inflation has done a disservice to this place. A far cry from back in the day.

We havent been out for a while since having our 1st baby and it was awesome to have such a greater waiter like Marc, who knew the menu inside out and made some great recommendations as well. Definitely makes us want to come back again, hopefully we get Marc again next time.

Marc was amazing! My Husband and I were so hesitant about going for lunch at Jacks with our 1 month daughter, trying to time it so she would sleep the whole time. Marc was amazing and very attentive and quick service so we werent having to wait around and able to eat - Appetizers, main and dessert all before she woke up. Marc was great to talk to and offered his suggestions and menu options. Next time we go back, Ill ask to sit in Marcs section again for another enjoyable outing.

As always Jack s was great food and good atmosphere. It was our server Chené that made our dinner and dining experience a wonderful one. She went above and beyond for our large group. She was kind and did whatever she could to accommodate us and our requests. Always with a smile. Thank you so much!

I just wished the alcoholic drinks weren t so watered down. Overall, good service and good food! Edit: I have been to this location for years. I currently went back for their Christmas festivities and it looked amazing! The food was bland though. My friend got the mac and cheese and I got the OG chicken
