Worst customer service. Wasted an hour more for an order that we called since morning. No one bothered to apologise or rectify the issue either. We ended up getting a different order, which also took longer than the what was promised.

Biryani is amazing

Our go- to place for bulk orders for a party. The guests loved the wonderful non-vegetarian spread. The naans are soft and well made,the meats were tender and delicious in the gravy and the kebabs were perfect.

We ordered butter chicken it was so tasteless chicken pieces are little hard and pieces were not fresh seems like they have used frozen chicken.. gravy was too sweet no spices at all .. Ruined my experience.. I dont know how they got a 4.4 rating .. they dont deserve this rating .. the quality of the food seems very very low ..

I ordered biryani and their tikka Chiken roll. They call themselves Biryani boss but all I got is a PALAO. like why would you call yourself and advertise biryani boss if you cant even cook proper biryani. No masala, no spice no yellow color and it didnt even looked like Biryani. Total waste of money. Chicken tikka roll was okay but not wow since anything in paratha can taste good. Only take out. Had to eat in the car with my infant. Tikka roll took 20 minutes. Dont bother if you are a biryani fan but go if you like palao.

They had small try biryani deal with 8 pieces chicken $40. But they gave me only 6 pieces chicken in try and my party was messed for them. Top of that they didn t pickup phone after delivery.

Food is amazing, my favs are their Chicken Biryani, Butter Chicken, Naan, and Palak Paneer. They dont have dine in here, just take out. Ive also had catering ordered for a work event, food was amazing and didnt disappoint.

I have been a Biryani Boss customer now for a better part of the year now and the continue to impress. Today i went for a fairly large order to celebrate my fathers birthday. We ordered 3 chicken biryanis, 2 chicken tikka boti 1 kabab and 2 naans. All portion were sufficient amongst two kids and 4 adult. I hope the business reviews my comment, to ensure they keep the quanity intact. While their prices have gone up, this has been the overall theme for most restaurants. We found the food to be tasty, less oily and everything was ready as it as pre- ordered. Thank you and keep up the good work. Peeved that the cashier with a hair net tried to sell me garlic naan add on for the full $3.49 price when the brand new menu advertised a $2 for naan. When I pointed out the menu he sheepishly smiled and charged me $2.49 instead. Being non South Asian customer, I wasnt sure how to react. Was he right and gave me a deal? Or was I right per advertisement? Regardless, I made up my mind to give them this review. More importantly, the Murgh Makhni was average, very little spice. Mostly sweet butter sauce. And the garlic naan tasted oven cooked as opposed to using a tandoor. Charminar is hands down the best Scarborough in terms of taste and texture. Clean atmosphere though but no place to dine.

This was the first time I visited this restaurant and you could literally see how clean and great smell you get from the place. Service was fast. Price was right. Food was tasty and not crazy spicy. Kids loved it and 2 packets were good for family of 5 and great serving. I want to try other food as well.

Its a take out place I tried chicken dum biryani here today. It was subtle and simple.. I cant compare it with Hyderabad Dum Biryani as the amount of spices and aroma is totally different and lower side in this biryani If you want biryani on a simpler note with very less spices and very subtle, this can be a good choice

I ordered some food on Uber eats from this restaurant, it was a Lamb Karahi curry , the curry had stale lamb pieces in it. It was well masked under a tonne of lime juice. I couldn t eat one spoon of the curry. Amazed how these kinda restaurants operate in Canada. Food safety is a joke at this point. There is nothing but lime juice in this curry. Basically it s like I ordered a red lime curry and some stale lamb pieces made their way into the curry by accident as a bonus. Extremely disappointed about the loss of money and equally worried about the people going to eat there next. If anyone is reading this review , PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT.

Chicken biryani lacks flavour, very bland. Lamb Karahi is ok and the meat is tender.

We ordered the gold package for family lunch catering. Everyone in the family, which includes harsh food critics, was very pleased with the food and we received many compliments. The naans were very soft and fresh and didn t get hard. The palak paneer, the chicken tikka masala and haleem were the biggest hits. The portions were generous and the price was competitive, so it was great value. We will definitely go back.

First time going there, was told by my colleague from work how good this place is,so five guys went each bought 3 chicken 2 lamb dishes along with naan bread , got to work started having dinner all dishes hardly had any meat chicken had only five pieces of chicken lamb only had one small piece of lamb and four small pieces of lamb rest was curry, normally our company spends few hundred dollars but as of today we all will be thinking likewise

They should really be clearer in the Google ad that this is takeout only. Also I respect that different people have different tastes in biryani but we tried the chicken (spicy) and the Veal (medium spicy) biryani, and they were at best similar to a pulao. With a few clumps of mild masala rice but mostly just white rice. Not what you would expect from a place that is called Biryani boss. It was rated 4.5 stars in Google. It really shouldnt be. I would have left 2 stars because the rice was cooked well. But just leaving 1 in an effort to correct the skew.

Since I figured they have moved, I paid my visit and had veal biriyani and their kheer. Both tasted amazing as expected. portion was good, but to be honest price is a bit on the higher side. Wish it was I. The &6-$7 range. I understand inflation has caused the price hike. But &10 for biriyani is not something many can afford on a daily basis. That being said, I will definitely be coming back for more soon. Specially if I am holding a party at home. :D

One of the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES ever! We ordered the chicken rolls and we were asked to wait 15 mins. We got our food after 45 minutes. Not only that, while we were waiting and asked about our order, the lady said we have too many customers today and walked back in the kitchen. Horrible experience!

As a new biriyani house in town they are servicing good quality with good amount of portion now. Take out biriyani pack for one person can serve two person. I have mostly taken veil biriyani which is good. Once I tried mutton biriyani which felt a little dry. With a clean food dispatch counter, they are open for take out only now. Hope they will start dine in soon.

We tried the chicken biryani and it blew us away. The rice was perfectly spiced and the chicken was juicy, tender and cooked the bone. The spice level of the biryani was not super high. The biryani had crispy onion masala throughout that was not just added on top but dum-ed with so the beautiful flavors penetrated throughout the rice and the chicken. The raita was also a perfect accompaniment to the sizzling hot biryani. The veal biryani was flavorful but lacked meat - there was barely any meat in it - just bones. They do not have any lamb biryani available, I guess they were sold out. This location is takeout only. There is a 10-15 min wait when ordering on site. There is ample parking available during lunch time so be prepared to eat in your car or in the greenspace in the plaza - the packaging doesnt keep food hot till you get home.

1. They re quality is garbage, please drive 10 mins north to silver spoon warden. Much better rice and meat quality . Bloated rice, smelly pink/black chicken. 2. Why are you asking for a tip on your machines when you are strictly a take out place. 3. This place although new and clean on the front desperately try s to hide what s going on in the back. I know a lot of restaurants older ones do not want to do this but newly designed ones make it a point they have nothing to hide. Buyer beware.

The rice was overcooked and mushy, and the sad excuse for meat looked like it had been cooked days ago. The presentation was so unappetizing that I struggled to take even one bite. Tasteless Food: Taste is paramount in any eatery, and Briyani Boss failed miserably in this aspect. The biryani lacked any distinct flavor; it was just a bland mishmash of poorly cooked rice and stale spices. I couldnt taste any of the promised aromatic spices that should be the highlight of any biryani. Slow and Inattentive Service: The service was incredibly slow, and the staff seemed disinterested in their job. It took ages for them to take our order, and when the food finally arrived, it was evident that they didnt care about the quality of their service or the food they were serving. Overpriced Mediocrity: Considering the abysmal quality of food and service, the prices were outrageously high. I wouldnt mind paying a premium for a delightful meal, but at Briyani Boss, it felt like they were charging for a luxurious dining experience while delivering nothing but disappointment. Hygiene Issues: Apart from the dingy ambiance, I noticed some concerning hygiene practices in the kitchen area. I witnessed a staff member handling money and then proceeding to touch food without washing their hands. This blatant disregard for hygiene and food safety standards is unacceptable. In conclusion, Briyani Boss is an utter disgrace to the culinary world. From the unclean environment and appalling presentation to the tasteless food and lackluster service, this place fails on every front. Save yourself the trouble, and steer clear of this restaurant. There are far better options for biryani and Indian cuisine elsewhere.

Been going here since they first opened (Lawrence Ave). After a much awaited re-opening, were regulars here. The food is really good. The biryani of course, is really good; both chicken and veal. We tried their chicken and seekh kababs and those are pretty good too. Tried the haleem for the first time today and it was actually decent. Wayyy better than the other restaurant we ordered from last weekend. To top it all off, the owner is really nice; he always goes the extra mile when it comes to customer service and is fair when you need his input in terms of what to order and the quantity. Cant wait for the ridgeway location to open so we can grab food from there when visiting family in Mississauga!

Ordered their gold package from catering service. All tasted so good. Their Beef sheekh kabab was perfectly cooked and it was so juicy. I must say if anyone wants good food with reasonable prices, it is the perfect place. We often try their chicken biriyani and paneer tikka masala also. They are also yummy.

Ordered veg biryani on doordash last night. First of all they accepted the ordered. Then after 2 minutes I got the email that restaurant has changed the order from veg biryani to lamb biryani and you have been charged extra . Like come one bro. First of all why are you accepting order if you don t have the item. And secondly, even if you accept the order by mistake, why are you not canceling my order. Then they have audacity to change order to lamb biryani and charging me extra. I don t eat meat of any kind. At least ask me before changing the order. Thanks to doordash that I received full refund. But biryani boss, wasted my time and put me all through that inconvenience

Tried it for the first time yesterday and really liked it! Our order : Chicken biryani combo. Includes drink and dessert What I loved: EVERYTHING IS HALAL ! Great taste (on the less spicy side so perfect for someone like my taste palette but might be a little mild for people who enjoy spices). Had there been an aloo in the biryani it would ve been classic! Huge portions. Cale with two hefty chicken pices. Dessert variety. In house kheer and gulab jamun were my picks and they were fresh and tasted great! The service was impeccable. We were initially ordering just biryani and pops but they were kind enough to suggest the combo which would save us a few bucks while enjoying a dessert too. Quick service. Hardly waited a couple of minutes before our food was ready. Not aure if they have seating options (Maybe it was a little late when we reached ) but there were chairs people could sit while waiting for food. For people who like mild spices and enjoy flavor. Good place to visit. Will try the other dishes next time too.

I ordered lamb biryani, chicken qorma and channa masala. All 3 dishes were unfortunatley a fail in taste. Whoever the cook is today and whoever made my 3 dishes must retire and find another career. Your seasoning is awful and I wasted $53. I called to inform and she only said sorry. What i want is them to remake the food but no such offer. If i lived closer (which i drove from far) i would have taken my 3 dishes back and let them throw it out themselves or let that cook taste his own shi%t. Tremendous waste of $53. Please replace that cook and have better food for others. I tried your food before and it was good, but today was terrible food.

They took more than 40 minutes to prepare two dishes. Such a slow service and the food was not worth the wait. Such a disappointing experience.

Just ordered from them after seeing the reviews for chicken tikka. Received and it was dry as hell not even a sauce was given to work with it Really Disappointed Ordered paneer tikka masala just not upto the mark and oily. The only good thing would have been the Naan other than that just turned my lunch down

Biryani tastes like karachi style daighi biryani!

This is our go to biryani place. We think they serve one of the best biryani in Toronto. Not too mild not too spicy. Just the right spices. Also the portion and price is unbeatable for the quality.

Take out spot only!! Food was decent, we had Biryani and Haleem. Isnt my favorite spot to eat these, but it was nice.

Good biryani and at a pretty good price vs some others in the area. Definite value to be had here. Located in a plaza which is often quite busy so parking maybe a little tough when its busy. This is takeout only as there are no tables or seating. The store is plain, but fairly nice. The only thing is there usually isnt anyone out front so you wait around staring at the wall most of the time. I presume they are short staffed. Also, ordering online doesnt always work. Safest to call ahead.

We were asked to sit and someone will take order. Then no one came for 8-10 to even bring the menu. So I got up arang the bell at the reception. Then we got the menu. Took another 7-9 min for him to come to take order, we asked for chicken biryani and the answer was we don t have any biryani . We wasted 25 min for nothing and left.

Ordered the Lamb biryani. Reasonable price, good portions and excellent meat quality although the spice/masala could have been a bit more. I understand they are trying to cater to a variety of people who majorly prefer to be mild in that area. Anyway keep up the quality, quantity, value of money and taste and I bet you guys will beat the much popular Charminar restaurant soon and put an end to their monopoly for Indian food in the area. A decent place for quick biryani. People should not have overly high expectations. Tried veal & lamb both were delicious, however the veal had more meat & masala. Combos offer 3 in 1 deal making it a full meal. Keep up the work! Food : 4/5 | Service

It is not a dine in facility, but it offers a very lavish taste of Indian condiments. So you buy from there and eat at Food Court. Its portions are big and you will love the taste of it. Not only Biryani but every dish. Parking: Weekend parking is challenging.

I bought today your lamb biriyani. The container was filled with biriyani rice and hardly any lamb meat. I had less than 3 small pieces of lamb inside. I feel totally cheated. So far I had good experience with chicken biriyany. Won t return.

Ordered chicken biryani. I feel their quality has detoriated. The taste of the rice used to be so flavorful and now its just colorful rice.

Ordered off Uber eats the food is decent. But I gave service a 3 and that is mainly because of their lack of attention to detail . Something has been wrong every time I ve ordered. Once had naan missing, another time wrong curry and on every occasion wrong pop I ordered. Feeels like they are just throwing in random ones I ordered Pepsi today got 7up , my last order I got crush even though I ordered a coke! I mean it takes 3 seconds to verify everything is correct

Great biriyani! Fluffy rice, tons of masala in this one which is how I like it. 2 pieces of chicken, 2 chutneys too! No complaints. Portion big enough for 2 people.
