The noodles were a build your own style and was fairly priced. There were add ons for snacks and the half portion size of the popcorn chicken was still quite large! The popcorn chicken was our favourite part. The noodles were good and the tomato soup base was tasty. We really liked scallops as toppings as it wasn’t an extra charge (although scallops are typically more expensive). The noodle portions are a bit smaller but it was overall a great meal.
Chicken Pumpkin soup is without the chicken pieces. This is a make-your-own noodle soup. ($14.50). Soup base is tasty enough but without a strong pumpkin flavor but instead a turmeric or curry flavor. Restaurant that served hot tea in metal cup that is without a handle is not experienced. It is too hot to hold and drink.
Tucked away in Woodside Square, near the library & across from Shoppers. If you like deer garden, this place will disappoint - deer garden does everything better except for the price: less noodles, less meat, inferior tasting broth, no to-go cup for iced drinks. With that being said, it is slightly cheaper here and they have some seafood options: scallops, shrimp, and mussels. You get about three per order. Worth trying if you're already at the mall. Otherwise, just go to deer garden.
Tried this somewhat new noodle spot for dinner located inside Woodside Square which you'll see once you go through the doors on southwest entrance by the Shoppers Drug Mart. This noodle shop has a DIY/build-your-bowl of noodles concept and specializes in a fish broth. Quite similar to Deer Garden but a bit cheaper The basic option lets you pick 2 toppings, your choice of broth and noodles, and a free hot drink. I tried the original fish broth with beef brisket and pork/mushroom ball which was pretty tasty and a large portion. We also tried the tomato fish broth soup base which was a bit too sweet and wish they put some fresh tomatoes in it. You can also add some snacks for a few dollars as part of a combo. we got the fried shrimp balls which were fresh and pretty good. Tip: ask for their chili oil. it's not very spicy but has a lot of fragrant shallots flavour.
I love this new noodle soup place ! It’s same style as Deer Garden… you get to pick 1 soup base, 1 type of noodle, 2 types of meat or veggies, drinks (hot is free), sides (3.99 +) Love their tomato soup base, thick beef brisket and homemade mushroom pork balls. Their fried pork chop was juicy & yummy! Can’t wait to go back!
First time visiting, and had a great time! The staff were super nice, and food didn't take too long. We like spice,so we ordered Sichuan and laksa base noodles. It matched our tastes, and it was all well seasoned too. The accompanying popcorn chicken wasn't over fried either, and the options on the menu made it easy to find things we each liked. Pleasant surprise, and delighted to return.
This new noodles soup restaurant located inside Woodside Square, opposite to Shoppers, is a must try! The $13.99 combo includes an XL bowl of customized noodle soup with two toppings of your choice plus a hot drink. You get to choose from various fish soups and chicken soups for the broth. Many toppings to choose from. See the menu photo I have included. We have tried original chicken soup, original fish soup, original fish soup with pepper, tomato fish soup and Malaysian Laksa soup. All were so flavourful! Don’t forget to ask for their in house special XO sauce (dried seafood chilli sauce) to enjoy with your noodles! Staff members explained clearly to us on how to order and all were very attentive. We have been back two times. Great value for money. Highly recommended.
I ordered the sauerkraut fish broth with pork stomach, cuttlefish and udon noodle. Broth is flavourful. Portion is generous. You can see in the picture that the ingredients came in nice big pieces. My server, Wilson, was very courteous. My only complaint is my udon noodle was a little overcooked. Will definitely return.
I usually like to eat at this restaurant, but some of the ingredients are not fresh. Today I went to the emergency room for food poisoning.

Affordable and economical. The broth is rich and not artificial and the side dishes was plenty also. Very delicious and inexpensive.
Today I passed by Miduoduo Rice Noodles and found this food in the store. I really want to try it. It is rice noodles with pickled fish soup base. It is rich and delicious. It is served with pickled cabbage and toppings. It is delicious . It also comes with elastic rice noodles. The pills are so delicious and so delicious, they are really good (will definitely come again )
I sincerely recommend that all stores without wifi have a sign at the door. You don t want to find out after ordering that you can only use the shopper s website next door.
It s okay, better than foodcourt. The new curry is flavourful, but lacks depth. Cheaper alternative to Deer Garden is right, but also not at their level with less mains selections (no wonton or dumpling). Everything is a bit watered down, even soup, so also lacks depth in taste. The shrimp should have been deshelled. Chocolate Milk is watery horlicks/ovaltine/hot chocolate, not chocolate milk. Children s meals are nice option, has plastic cutlery, but would have been nice to have some Chinese food options in-line with other food here. Chicken Wings were nicely fried. The place is inside the mall, at a prime spot, but the covering up of the windows so much makes it harder to notice and ultimately goes against the interior decor. Kid-friendliness: Has high chairs, though a bit loose.
This place is great. High quality noodle soup and rice dishes. Quick service. Excellent HK style milk tea. Great value for the money. I think their ingredients and cooking quality is quite good. Easy to find a spot to dine. I think they would have even more customers if the mall got rid of the dinosaur stuff in front of their entrance. I ve been there many times!

People should know more of this hidden spot. Weve been here twice, and the noodle and rice combos are the best values , and are very tasty. When you get the combo, you can get popcorn chicken and other tasty appetizers for 3-4 dollars! Everything is really good! Super family friendly with kids options as well

Great fish based soup! I ve been to many similar restaurants before and this is the only one doesn t make me drink a lot of water after meal. Kids love it as well. But I do not recommend you to order too many add-on, as the volume of the food is kind of big and fill up the soup bowl very quick. Nice and clean place to dine in for sure.
The rice noodles in fish soup are delicious, and the waiters have a good attitude. There are even childrens set meals, which are enough. The fried chicken wings are super delicious

Excellent soup noodles! Flavorful soup base. Staff very open to constructive criticism. Price lower (by about $2) than their direct competitor! Their location is inside the mall so less eyeballs see them unfortunately :(. Please go give them a try!
The shop has opened recently at this location, so I just tried twice. Their soup base is decent, tasteful, not heavy, not too salty. I normally dont like fish soup base, but I love theirs. So far, I tried Sichuan spicy soup, beef and enoki sour & spicy soup, and tomato fish soup, all delicious. Be careful with the spicy level if you can eat mild spicy food only, spicy soup base is very spicy that makes me sweating. Their crispy chicken wings is excellent, juicy and tender inside, crispy outside. Lemon honey is not impressive, but Hongkong milktea is really nice, either hot or cold. Since theyre so close to Magic noodles, I hope they can compete them. Give this place a try if you have chance.
Sea food noodle combo is a rip-off. Only seafood were two mussles, two scallops, and two shrimps. Soup base is also not strong enough.
Got two of the noodle combos. Friend didn t like the peanut sesame spicy so they made it mild. Very accommodating and the food was great. With drinks and two side combos the total bill Was less than $42 after tax. Definitely worth it and would recommend any day of the week.
Because its next to the childrens playground, I gave it a try. Overall not bad. Not too surprised nor too disappointed. But there are childrens meals, which are just for making money from children.
I have just discovered this restaurant in Woodside Square. Big bowls of noodle soup in a winter day hit the spot. Each bowl, with a choice of noodles, a choice of soup bases, two choices of ingredients before they charge for additional picks, and a choice of hot beverage. is very filling. As someone who loves Deer Garden, this place is a good alternative for a cheaper price - $13.99. Just as big portions and pretty much comparable flavour. They also offered us their chili oil without us asking and it was also very similar and tasty. I ve tried other similar noodle places and they seem to fall short in taste and flavour but this place meets the mark. Would come back again!

Exceptional service Especially from the young male server with glasses, extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. Broth was flavorful, crispy wings love that they offer small portions of snack as add-on to the combo, will definitely come back !

You order a soup base, type of noodle, 2 toppings and a drink all for $13.99. Got the laksa soup with fat rice noodles, beef brisket, beef balls and an almond drink. Wife ordered the Tom Yum soup, rice noodles, beef brisket, bak Choi and lemon tea. The bowls were huge. One bowl can feed 2 people. The beef brisket were thick and is of good quality. The beef balls they used are the beef tendon ones which I like. The laksa soup an be Tom Yum soup were just ok. Overall great place to eat an be will come back to try different by combinations.

The atmosphere is very open and clean with very modern decor. The service was very prompt and friendly. Unfortunately the two soup noodle combos that we ordered was not up to expectations. The soup was bland, noodles on one was over cooked to the point of being mushy and in the other the fresh flat noodles had hard parts indicating it was not fresh at all The sliced beef brisket tastes like the taste was all boiled out.
It was my first time to go there because a friend told me that his eel rice was delicious (at first I thought, the eel rice in the rice noodle shop is delicious, so I might as well go and try it) Two people ordered an eel rice + frozen milk tea and the same rice noodles + hot milk tea. The eel rice is from a rice noodle shop called Lai Dao, which is really delicious. The rice noodles are equally delicious. I haven t tried the surprise yet, but I will definitely return. Iced milk tea and hot milk tea are both delicious in so-called Hong Kong-style tea restaurants, although they don t feel like 100% Hong Kong-style milk tea. The biggest surprise for me is that there were not many people there during dinner time on Saturday, and it was so comfortable to sit with the panoramic view. It was already on my canteen list.

Rice noodles are delicious
The fish soup was very fishy and tasted bad. The most important thing is that you cant take it away if you cant finish it. They said they dont have this service. We wasted a whole bowl of rice noodles because it was too unpalatable. We thought we could take it away and give it to the dog. At least I didn t waste my food, but the store clerk refused to let me eat it. I never write negative reviews, but I couldn t bear it anymore. I hope the store will take care of itself. Worst noodle place ever, very fishy smell soup that you want to throw up on the first sip. We wasted a whole noodle bowl. Be aware, you cannot take out left overs! Service is extremely bad!!! Save yourself from going to this place!
Arrived just before the lunch time rush on a Sunday. Servers were efficient and attentive. Food was delicious! Fish soup was full of flavour and big portions of choice of items (I chose the beef and tripe - it was very good!). The hot chili oil is definitely a must and its been a while since Ive dined at a fish broth place that had both delicious soup and chili oil! This place beats deer garden and the old chef papa noodle house. If youre a fan of soup noodles, you cant miss out on this gem! Will definitely be visiting again! 55
