Love this place. The owner is super friendly and kind and the food is amazing. Definitely doesn’t have the atmosphere of fancier restaurants but the food is cheap with large portions, and it has the best fried noodles I’ve ever tried. Seriously recommend giving it a go!
Well, we stopped at this please because a friend’s recommendation. If you are not Chinese make sure you understand what you are ordering, because the menu doesn’t provide enough details about the food you are ordering. I was disappointed for what I order but honestly it was tasty, the portions of the food are very generous so the prices is worth it. The day we went many seats were dirty, it was one person cleaning and serving so that might make everything slow in a busy days.
Delicious and quick! The employees are always kind and happy to serve us amazing foods! I’ve enjoyed eating here for years. Amazing restaurant!
First time visiting this place and I'm satisfied with the food and service. We got Spicy lamb noodles , spicy chicken noodles with hot pepper , lamb skewers , sliced pork with hot peppers. Both the quantity and quality is nice for the price we paid. Service is friendly and quick. Although I lived right across I never visited it till now and now I will definitely visit again. Maybe the meat quantity in noodles wasn't enough for my taste but overall it's good. I definitely recommend this place.
I've driven past here for years and finally decided to pop in for a meal. The prices are very decent and you get a good bang for your buck here. The noodle soups come in generous portions, loaded with meat and noodles. The broth is a bit bland and the noodles aren't as bouncy as they should be. Service is almost non-existent but they are friendly. Overall, not bad food for a great price. If you're looking for a quick meal on a budget this place will satisfy.
Rice is ok if you like spicy hot. Noodle is much better because they hand made the noodles. Noodles have lots of texture to them. Soup is bland, with no taste, typical of Northern China style. Service just ok. Don't expect too high
Went there with coworker during the break. Noodles are delicious, huge, with lowest price I have ever seen. Spicy sauce is very impressive. . Side dish is okay, but will not suggest. For sure will come back
Very authentic tasting Asian food, lots of amazing spicy options if you can handle it. My favourite differentiator is their usage of hand pulled noodles for their stir fried noodle dishes, they are long chewy and delicious! The cold garlic and chilli oil dishes are very good sharing starters. I give them 8/10!
It s really a treasured restaurant at this location. I like their eggplant and sausages, and the dry pot is also good. The price is also very good. You can cook it.
Nice little noodles restaurant, good selections on the menu, price is pretty low.
I had diarrhea immediately after eating. I took it. Seriously, why don t you put some antidiarrheal medicine?
Good food with good price, highly recommended!
Authentic and tasty food at an excellent price. Its my new go to place for takeout or dine-in Chinese food!
My treasure noodle shop! My favorite is the sausage noodles! Their stir-fried dishes are all delicious, no surprises! But the mutton kebabs taste more ordinary, not as amazing as their stir-fry dishes.
Entirely wrong food delivered aftwe waiting an hour for the same.
I really love Chinese food and in my opinion, this restaurant is one of the best representatives of Chinese cuisine! Everything is fresh and tasty. They brought it quickly. The service is very friendly. I will definitely come here again.
I just came to Canada and tried it. Its been 10 years and it still tastes the same. Its clean, delicious and has a generous portion. Kidney beans remind me of my mom s specialty. This is a small shop that I will continue to eat at. I support it.
Comes with a free bad mood to go :) Waitress has a bad attitude--impatient, rude tone of voice, and an annoyed face. Soup noodle was decent (~3 stars), though definitely not worth the bad service. Will not come back again.
Pork pretending to be mutton
Recommend the pork trotters, it s the northern taste I want
The food was great. But the waitress was super rude and looked annoyed the whole time. She asked for more tip even though we gave her 15%. Never coming back again
Good hand pulled noodles and beef.
Was super impressed with the food. It was authentic, tasty and fresh. I order the sauteed chili chicken and I see myself being a frequent customer. The owner was also very nice and welcoming. Overall, love the service and food!
I can t tell the difference between ramen and panmyeon, but I still open a noodle shop ~ pathetic
I ordered beef noodles, spicy beef pot (with handmade noodles and potatoes) and mutton skewers. The portions were generous and I was very full! And it tastes very good, worth a try! The spicy hot pot looks quite cheap, but it is more expensive with side dishes. It is recommended that two people eat one portion. Because the portion is indeed enough, and noodles can be added to the fragrant pot as a staple food. The enthusiasm of the service needs to be improved. Maybe the boss was tired when I went there after 9pm. All in all, it s worth a visit for food.
Dont come to this shop. She has a bad service attitude and makes tipping mandatory. If you dont leave a tip, you are insulted.
The pickled fish is good, the beef fried noodles with tomato sauce are delicious, the mutton skewers are delicious, and the signature pork rice is okay. I personally like it on the sweet side. This sauce is on the salty side. The service attitude is friendly, but overall it is on the salty side. The signature pork sausage noodles are on the salty side.
I ordered an Ubereat at night after a busy day. Your ribs are not fresh and they taste really disgusting. , a rubbish restaurant
Im really convinced. What do you put in your food? The taste is really good, and the takeout is quite generous. Ordered the farm-style fried pork rice bowl. But just these things can cause me to wake up at 2:00 in the morning and keep vomiting until I faint. He is in the hospital now. I hope that while your food tastes good, it can also be kept hygienic and clean. After eating your food, I couldnt digest it and kept vomiting. I also read many other comments saying it was disgusting. It was so speechless.
Loved it. They have dishes I have never seen outside of home, and they do them well. Will come back.
Delicious, large portion and affordable
Unknowingly, this store has existed for many years. Compared with its current rating, it can be said to be unexpectedly delicious. In the past two years, many noodle restaurants that once had great characteristics and sincerity have begun to decline in quality, but this restaurants signature Lanzhou Ramen is a bit back to nature, with basically every aspect scoring around 80 points. The pork sausage noodles are very spicy. My companion said the sauce was a bit too salty, but I thought it was just right. In terms of service attitude, at least yesterday it was not as bad as some reviews said. Now that I have moved to this area, I will probably come here more often to try other dishes. While food quality at many noodle places in Toronto are going down in recent years, this long-existing restaurant seems to be an exception. In my opinion, the classic noodle with beef here is the most balanced, with every aspect reaching about 8/10 . Noodle with pork intestine was also a must-try, you can find it on almost every table. Service could be better but was not bad at all (wasnt to busy when we went).
I love and only eat the fat intestine and spicy pepper noodles here. I highly recommend it! Slightly spicy, my nose will runny while eating, but refreshing
Jintou Ba Nao Maoxuewang Fat Sausage Noodles Spicy Yellow Throat Smoked chicken! Spicy chicken gizzards!
Got 2 hand pulled noodles, A01, portions were big, noodles texture very good. Had a nice chew. Lamb skewer very flavourful. Cucumber salad were small leftover pieces :( Only one lady working, but she was polite. Made a few mix ups with order and bills. Her friendly made up for it. Will come again.
Service is good, food is soso. Noodle is better than rice.
To be honest, it is very kind to give one point. When you come to eat here, it is recommended to order in advance and then go back to sleep. Maybe you will have something to eat when you come back. The attitude of the waiter is so good. I asked him when he will be served. I fooled you and left after a few words. I was so dedicated that I was in a hurry to communicate with the chef and didn t have time to pay attention to you.
Waitress has rude attitudes and got order wrong. Need more training.
Ordered take out. Very 1st time visiting this restaurant. We were originally looking for more of a North American Chinese cuisine. The staff suggested sweet and sour pork with breadsticks. Enjoyed! Will visit again in the near future. The staff helpful, courteous and dish prices were comparable.
Definitely recommend!!
Love this place! Their hand pulled noodles are amazing, perfect in their dan dan noodles or lanzhou beef noodle soup. Also love the lamb skewers
The Dan Dan mein and Lan Zhou noodles are amazing. Also the lamb skewers are spicy and worth trying.
Fantastic taste and reasonable prices. We order regularly and have always had a good experience.
I missed my lunch that day and passed by this plaza , found this Noodle cuisine. Oh, its so great to have a chilly traditional Chinese noodle. Reasonable price and very good tasty food. Keep it up. see you next time.
First time here after the epidemic, many restrictions, takeout bowls, and employees loudly flattering the boss. It was really embarrassing to sit and listen. I ate a bowl of beef noodles, walked around the supermarket for a while, and collapsed at the McDonalds next to me. Ill go to Fafa next time. The price has increased a bit, but at least the experience is good. I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened, and even ordered takeout a few times during the epidemic. Later, I felt bad about the beef skewers, so I forgot about it. Ordering takeout during the epidemic was actually good. There are many Chinese restaurants now open, and each store has good discounts. I probably won t come here again in the future. Im going to buy medicine
For some reason I find myself liking the food here. The environment, the service, and the plastic container were ok, but the taste just exceeded my expectations.
The first time I went there was because I saw the special offer. It should be said that it is an old store that has been open for 6 years and the taste is very good. Its probably because I was sitting in a corner and it was meal time. The side dishes were all served, but the boss lady and the waiter were so busy that they forgot about my noodles . After waiting for a long time, I wanted to take a family photo. But I will go there next time, after all, it tastes really good.
The old noodles with fried pork and pork in pots were also not delicious. The noodle soup was very watery, like water with salt, which was not delicious. The service attitude was average. I asked several times to pay, but a waiter clearly saw it and still passed it directly. It was very Too much.
Don t know why there are 3 or 4 stars. The food is unreal. Flavour country! Friendly staff. Will be back again soon!
Terrible customer service, really bad altitude, definitely not come back again
Really getting more and more disappointed I dont know what youre doing Unpalatable. Won t patronize it again.
It feels like the chef is still the boss and the taste is different.
The best fat intestine noodles in the world
The noodles is good
A not-bad restaurant, you can visit monthly. Credit card is not applicable, which disappointed us so much.
The food in my opinion is great would highly recommend beef noodle soup. The Lamb skewers are also one of my favorite foods ever.
super good Chinese food if you like spicy style of Chinese food.
The price is not competitive, the noodles and fried rice are average
Good food, large portions which can be shared. Cash only.
If you like noodles and food on a stick, this place is great!
Great place for a fast satisfying noodle meal
Eggplant, chicken, and egg noodles are super delicious! ! ! Not very spicy, I must order this every time I come! The spicy fried yellow throat is also very delicious~
Fantastic taste with fresh food and cheap price, first time here, but I will come more!
Taste is simple. Soup is acceptable, the service is pretty good though. Reasonable price but not enough amount of food per order. Not recommend to male customers.
I often do activities, but the taste is average hmmm....
It used to be a really good restaurant. It is said that the owner opened several restaurants before finally becoming successful. But has the chef changed now or is he too proud? I went there twice recently. The first time when I was asked to add side dishes to the grilled fish, I was told that I wouldnt add any side dishes now (there were always some in the past), so I just added them. As a result, the soup had no taste at all and it was completely different from the previous taste. I didnt give up and ordered the barbecue again. Oh my God, the oil was completely fried. I couldnt eat it after a few bites. I had to go home and rinse it with hot water before I could swallow it. There are only a few people in the restaurant on a Friday night, and Torontonians are not easy to deal with, so if this continues, they will eventually have to close again.
For those who loves spicy foods this place is great in taste! :)
Only cash is accepted and tax is added, and the checkout woman is still asking for a tip like a beggar? I just stepped on it once and would never recommend it to my friends. Cash only, plus tax, and ask for tips?
Legit szhichuan dishes! Definitely a hidden gem. Will come back and try other dishes! Forgot to take pic of lamb skewer just as same as the ones back in China.
Not delicious. The attitude of the waiter is also very average.
Needless to say, the beef ramen tastes very good and the noodles are chewy. I have tried the mutton skewers, steamed pork buns, and Maoxuewang, and they are all good. Personally, I think the mixed noodles are average and not as delicious as the soup noodles. All in all, it s quite surprising, and I recommend it.
Very bad customer service. Enforced the tip payment as 20% and used porc as lamb meat
1. Put pork belly with skin in cold water, add scallions, ginger slices, 7 to 8 peppercorns, and appropriate amount of rice wine and bring to a boil. 2. Skim off the floating foam, cook until cooked, take out and let cool naturally (chopsticks can be inserted). 3. Cut the meat into thin slices, slice the ginger and garlic, and cut the green onion into diagonal sections. 4. Clap the white part of the green garlic with a knife, then cut it into sections diagonally and set aside. 5. Heat the wok, add a little oil and stir-fry the chili pepper, Sichuan peppercorns, green onion and ginger. 6. Add the meat slices and stir-fry until the color of the meat slices turns transparent and the edges are slightly rolled. 7. Move the meat to one side of the pot, add Pixian bean paste (you can chop it finely first) and stir-fry until the red oil comes out. 8. Add a little soy sauce or sweet noodle sauce appropriately to adjust the color, and stir-fry evenly with the meat slices. 9. Add green garlic, a little cooking wine, sugar to adjust the taste and serve. 1. Choose meat carefully: fresh pork slaughtered on the same day should be fat, with four hind legs and two knives, and thin with six wide and three fingers. If it is too fat, it will be greasy, if it is too thin, it will be burnt, and if it is too wide or too narrow, it will be difficult to shape.
The attitude of the boss and waiters is extremely bad. The taste is sometimes good and bad. I will never go there again.
The service attitude is cold and arrogant. The owner and employees of the whole store have no smiling faces. The price of the menu is not low but the taste is not as good as that of a home kitchen. When I left, I felt that I didn t have enough change and asked for a tip. I was fed up.
Cheap and delicious
the noodle dish i had today was pretty average, nothing too fancy or significant about it, but not a bad place for a reasonably priced lunch. the sweet/ sour fritter and beef was surprisingly good.
Treasure Restaurant is so inconspicuous that I haven t noticed it since I ve been living near my home for so long. In the end, I was introduced to it by a friend. I ordered a few signature dishes, such as the gravy bibimbap, which was really satisfying, and the spicy stir-fried yellow throat. Although the taste is sweet, the sauce is full of flavor and less spicy. The braised pork sausage is also very fragrant. In addition, the tinfoil baby vegetables and mutton skewers are quite satisfactory, which is okay. All in all, it is a restaurant that suits my taste and I will come again.
I won t come here again. The price of the dishes is only more than ten yuan for such a small plate. The boss will definitely make money. The hot and sour potato shreds are also amazing. It s really no wonder that everyone s reviews are so bad. It s just my curiosity to try it...
I ordered mixed noodles. The eggplant was too much. Is it speckled? ?
Good food and handmade noodles. Good price. Cash only.
Noodles not too soft/hard, soup served fast and hot.
Been here couple of times already, love the food, service can vary but generally fine. Tips are automatically calculated on after-tax, so be aware or you might get scolded in your face. And why my previous review was removed but others who posted around the same time stayed? Because they are overwhelmingly positive and I pointed out some flaw in the service I received in this restaurant? Interesting. Will keep a screenshot of this comment and see if this gets deleted again.
This noodle shop is getting worse and worse. I used to go there often, but now it feels like its getting worse. Yesterday, half a year later, I mustered up the courage to try it again. There was not a decent piece of meat in the bowl, it was just a mess of leftovers. I only ate a few mouthfuls of noodles and left in frustration. Goodbye!
Very authentic northern Chinese flavor and dishes. Occasionally I would get suspicious about its sanitation as my partner and I got upset stomach at times. Also note they only accept cash, which I dont appreciate at all. AND orders can be delayed/missed, waitresses can be rude at times... In a word, nice taste and mediocre to bad service. All the stars go to the taste alone.
Hand pulled Chinese noodles...you can see the guy making them in the back kitchen. Delicious soup ...never had them fried yet but they look good too. Efficient service at lunch.
Love them, convenient, fast, and delicious
Their interestine stir fry noodles are my go to food whenever Im in Scarborough. The soup noodles arent as flavourful. I recommend the clear noodle cold side dish and the cold potato side dish. Honestly anything with the noodles are pretty top tier, the noodles are just the right amount of chewy and slurpable, hand made with care. The restaurant is clean and more authentic than most others Ive tried.
My favorite is the little rooster noodles in this restaurant, and the newly added grilled mutton skewers are also delicious.
delicious
Authentic flavour in large portions at great prices. Small, casual soace. Unpretentious service.
Tastes good and reasonably priced
Suitable for my taste, large quantity, and affordable price!
The charcoal grill food are cold! Not even grilled! The food portion is smaller than before! The worst experience I have ever in this restaurant!
The taste is different from that in Hong Kong, but you can give it a try.
Hands down best noodle in toronto
The noodles are super hard and unpalatable.
Noodles are okay. Bobo chicken is good.
Amazing food, so good, recommend!
The staff was quite welcoming and helpful. The menu was quite varied, divided into sections, with picture representations of many of the dishes. That, along with the guidance of the staff made it easy to make our selection. The food was so good that we are definitely planning return visits.
this is absolutely the best Chinese restaurant. I appropriate the effort they put into their dishes. Absolutely the best nothing to dislike about it
Good Very delicious
Not as good as before
The portion is huge for $10 and even the side of rice. If I am close by, Id probably go here everyday.
Bad service attitude
Delicious barbeque skewers. Lamb is the best! Noodles are quite good as well.
Probably the best hand made noodles in the area. The other dishes are pretty good, but do get noodles in soup. My personal favourite is the intestine noodles. Service is prompt and friendly. Their English isnt great but its good enough to take your order. A big plus for me is this place is open very late.
Authentic Chinese seasoning and dishes. All my friends love the restaurant. If you love spicy food, this is your restaurant.
BBQ is cheap and delicious Both are 4.99 for four skewers
Noodle is okay, not so special.
Bad service, not enough staff, waited 30 minutes just for rice, won t go again.
Terrible experience, no one was seating customers and no one was taking our order. Waited 30 mins, and finally got a wrong dish. Train your employee or hire more people please!! will never come again.
Made me wait 40 minutes for my order with no communication on what was going on. After I asked about my food twice, it arrived undercooked and not even hot. Horrible service.
Seemed ok, but I didnt actually eat anything due to feeling poorly (unrelated to the restaurant). But my wife and her colleagues enjoyed it and was not to expensive.
Great food!!!
Very reasonable priced, and taste above average !
Come here quite often. One of the first places in Toronto to have Lanzhou hand pulled noodles. Food is good and not too expensive.
their dan dan noodle so good. Their dan dan noodles are delicious. It reminds me of instant noodles, but it is much better than instant noodles. I like that taste very much.
The waitress wearing glasses talks very loudly and is annoying to death. She has made a lot of noises after coming here several times. Can t the boss hire new people? This kind of front desk will damage the store.
this is authentic Northern Chinese Cuisine. Me and my friend really like this place
Fabulous food. One of our very favorite restaurants. Never disappoints, they always delivery a great meal. Friendly staff, great prices. Highly recommend
Food is pretty good for the price.
I asked to try one of their popular Noodle dishes. It was ok, a little on bland side. Prices across the menu seem pretty reasonable. Cash only restaurant.
Great food! The Chili Lamb and the Sweet and Sour Fish are delicious and flavourful! The portions are generous and the prices are very affordable.
The food delivery driver had a very bad attitude. He couldnt find a few dollars in change and asked the customer to collect it himself. He said he would not order again.
I loved the noodle dish here!
