This was a fantastic experience, one of the best noodle dishes I’ve had in a long time. The Liangpi was sooo fresh, soft, bouncy, chewy, and just the right amount of spice. Absolutely blown away how good it was. Also ordered the Lamb Mo and it was unreal, sooo simple, sooo good! This place is a hidden gem for sure!
Yum. The lamb “mo” or Chinese burger was so juicy with just the right amount of lamby flavour. It’s not overly seasoned so you’re getting just pure lamb flavour. Good mixture of fatty and tender lean meat, and the bun was lightly toasted. Auntie running the shop also highly recommended I try a liangpi dish so I got #3, the rice noodle version (instead of wheat) - the noodles were nice and bouncy and the chili oil added an appetizing fragrance. The shop is clean and Auntie was chill and friendly. Generous portion sizes. Would definitely come back to try more from her menu!
Food is superb. Friendly service. Too bad take out only. This food would be a hit if in a better location. That said this is a gem if looking for value for your money. Highly recommend. Lovely friendly lady at the counter. First time there so I guess she hasn't seen us before and she kept telling us the food was spicy and to try before ordering. The amount of spice was just right. Not overly spicy and just enough to make it tasty.
Food quality is EXCELLENT. We were in the area and looking for a bite. Tried their "cool noodles" (Liangpi) and their "stuffed biscuits" (Chinese Burger). Everything is super tasty and authentic. The store is "takeout only", which we didn't know when we walked in; very warm and welcoming service. In terms of atmosphere, it's a simple take-out place, just plain and utilitarian. Would definitely come back for more! 😋👍🏻!
The place knows what they are really good at. Take-out only. We tried the liangpu and a pork hock; both of.them worth a try.
There is nothing wrong with this place. The service was fine. The food was fine. It just wasn’t to my taste. I have no idea what either the liang pi or the mo traditionally tastes like, but I found both underwhelming. I expected the liang pi noodles to be bouncy, but they were actually tender. The sauce didn’t have much depth or dimension. The mo, despite being the “saucy” version, was still pretty dry. Menu is pretty much just those two things, so I’m unlikely to return.
This is some of the best and most authentic central/northern Chinese food you can get. The Liang Pi is delicious and spicy. Plenty of noodles to soak in the broth and chilli oil. The pulled pork sandwich is full of flavour and generous with the pork. All this for $13 is a steal. Service is fast and friendly. I'm coming back to try everything on the menu.
As someone who grew up in Xi'an Shaanxi, eating this food in the home country -- I can say that this is the most authentic versions of this cuisine in all of North America. You won't find it better unless you make the trip to China.
Super nice and fast. Food was delicious and fresh. Will be back!
Absolutely the best Liang Pi and Rou Jia Mo in Toronto.
Soooooo so good but do note they only do takeout
Best northern Chinese food. Hands down
the SWEETEST owners i get delivery from them at least 1-2 times a month. don t sleep on the liangpi in spicy oil!! they deserve the world!!!
Super delicious. Liangpi is their specialty but the minced pork noodle soup is also rly delicious.
It can only be taken away. I ordered a lot. Personally, I think the most delicious one is the You Po Liangpi. The auntie is very nice!
lol to those reviewers who said the food was bad and the menu only has two things As someone who s been to Xi an and loved Xi an cuisine my whole life, their roujiamo is the most authentic out of all the ones I ve had in Toronto. The bun is traditional, and the meat has just the right ratio of fat and lean meats, juicy and flavorful without too dark of color. I m surprised that someone said this place is overpriced, after having roujiamo at so many places, they price it just like most other stores $6-7. If you drink $10 a cup of bubble tea daily you should reconsider marking a $7 roujiamo as overpriced.
The Roujiamo makes people in Xi an cry after eating it! ! ! The Liangpi is also very strong, I fell in love with it the first time!
Takeout only. Liangpi is average, but I highly recommend the roujiamo, especially the mutton ones, which taste great.
Liked the Chinese burger. Crispy bun and juicy meat.
This hole in the wall is such a gem!! The Liangpi noodle is fresh, soft and delicious. The pork buns are super delicious too! Shop owners are welcoming and friendly. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Highly recommended!!
Shuipan mutton is more delicious than cold skin, recommended by Shaanxi people
Delicious, authentic and cheap! ! !
Lamb mo is really good!
Take out only. I highly recommend any of their fresh noodles or meat sandwiches. Traditional and delicious.
The best Roujiamo in Toronto is known for its delicious taste, but service can be slow. However, the boss lady is extremely friendly and greets everyone with a warm smile, making the wait worth it.
The mutton meat buns are also so delicious!
Maybe Im too picky, or my expectations are too high... I dont know how to eat Lao Shaanxi Liangpi, but there is no sesame sauce, and the seasoning water and spicy pepper are very ordinary... I originally wanted to try the Roujiamo, but I went too late and it was sold out... I will definitely not buy Liangpi again. The main reason for Samsung is that a Liangpi only costs 8 yuan and only accepts cash. It is too expensive... especially when I saw that the price was still 6.5 yuan a year ago.
It s crazy fragrant, a northerner s home, with salty roast chicken, red cold skin and oily meat buns There is no more authentic and fragrant Shaanxi snack than this one. The cashier is a gentle Cantonese beauty. If you don t eat it, you are not a northerner
Liangpi is really the taste of China, very fresh The traditional roujiamo is also the most authentic one you can eat in Toronto. I forgot to ask if there is green chili. If there is, it will be perfect if you add some.
The mutton soup is not authentic, it just tastes like science and technology. One portion of the mutton soup has to be split into two and they are sold as buy one get one free. After drinking it, I got a stomachache all night.
Friendly people here.
Traditional Liangpi and Lamb Mo is the best.
Takeaway from Uber eats, I have tried all three types of roujiamo, and none of them are too salty. The sauerkraut is a little spicy, and the mutton is the most fragrant. But I dont like the bun skin, it feels too solid. My personal favorite Roujiamo is: West Young Master (but the fried bun skin is very crispy but also very greasy), followed by Zhonghua Beef and Sheep Restaurant, and third is Qin Yun Liangpi.
Ordered liangpi in spucy oil, pork mo, and lamb mo for a quick snack. The flavours of the mo were especially tasty. The liangpi had just the right hint of spice for those who arent fans of heavy spuce. Will be back for sure to try more of the menu board itens. Food
Have been here twice. Great little take out spot. Best rice noodles in the city. The noodles are so good. You will want to come back. I recommend the Liangpi in spicy oil sauce or the traditional wide Liangpi. Delicious
Addicted to their #2 liangpi noodles
The noddle is so thick. Not the same as the one that Ive tried in China.
The traditional meat sandwich with preserved meat and cold skin is also very good
THE LIANG PI HERE IS SO GOOD! I love the texture and bounce of their noodles. Youd think with the shape it would not be as good, but loved it! Overall: 4/5
Came for the food that was in the magazine. Small portions but tasty food.
The food is legit here!
Just, it s okay~ The cold skin is too soft and not chewy. In addition, we can only take away food and cannot dine in. Two Liangpi and one Roujiamo 21.5
Average, a bit disappointing, not as good as what was said online, the vermicelli is okay, the seasoning is much different from the domestic ones, and the portion is a bit small
No dine-in allowed, only takeaway. The taste is almost exactly the same as in China, and the taste of mutton is also very good.
The spinach liangpi is out of this world and at $8.00 what a deal. Very tasty when you add the sauces. Also the pulled pork mo is delicious, as good as what I have had in South Carolina Unfortunately only takeout. Parking: Not many spots so you might have to wait a minute or two
Good favorite
Tastes good, very authentic but a bit sour
Best Liangpi in the city. My new go to for this dish.
The meat is juicy and flavorful but the bread was hard and tasteless
The Roujiamo and Liangpi are very authentic. There are not many parking spaces nearby, so parking may be difficult.
The store does not offer dine-in. The materials used are average. The mutton is outstanding.
Little hidden gem serving delicious and authentic roujiamo and liangpi. The owner is so friendly and the prices are incredible. The roujiamo has soft bread and a lot of filling. The liangpi is spicy, chewy, and soft. Takeout only!
Fantastic place, I go there quite often Food is full of flavor And the spicy noodles are nice and spicy.
Very delicious. Too expensive. Liangpi is $6.5, and Roujiamo is $5.5. A quick meal is nearly $20.
Amazing liang pi and roujiamo!!! Will definitely go back. They cant speak English, so it would help if you have a Mandarin speaker accompany you.
I heard of this place from one of my friends who is very picky about RouJiaMo and LiangPi, and he told me it is the most authentic in Toronto. It was actually pretty good! Note: as of Feb 27, dine-in is not available. Note2: you get a discount if you pay by cash.
Most amazing Lamb, Pork n Saucy Pork Mo!! Must try if youre a foodie...they dont have seating and are only takeout, but who cares if the food is that great!
The Roujiamo is delicious, with a lot of meat, and the cold skin is normal. I recommend it.
People in Xian think their Roujiamo Liangpi is delicious
Food is very authentic, extremely fresh (if they don t sell on the day they throw them out, never keep overnight). This is very critical for Liangpi. The lady boss is nice and enthusiastic!
Delicious, authentic taste of hometown. My Chinese heart. And my Chinese stomach.
As a Xi an person, I say it s very delicious
Liangpi tastes pretty good !
The cold skin is not chewy enough, and the roujiamo noodles are not chewy enough. Maybe I am spoiled by the Xi an Huifang snacks in Vancouver
Authentic northeast Chinese foods. One of the best around GTA.
Although it s a Liangpi shop, it has what I consider to be the best roujiamo in Toronto
The most authentic Shaanxi Liangpi and Roujiamo in Duolun Best lLIANGPI ROUJIAMO ion Toronto
The most authentic Shanxi cold noodle place. One of the first ones in toronto I ve witnessed grow over the years to this current location. Been a customer for 9 years now
Certified by Shaanxi people, GTA is the closest to Shaanxi-style rice cakes and meat buns. For many years, I only recognized his family.
we ordered 2 of each mo, they taste ok and not as flavorful as mo from Binz. I feel that the food is over price.
I tasted the taste of Xian, like it
Good place. Food is delicious. No need to preorder compared to other places.
Liangpi and Roujiamo my love
My No.1 to go place for . The best in Toronto. Highly recommend.
Their Chinese Lamb Burger is the best in the city. Their Liang pi noodles are amazing and super authentic. Reminds my girlfriend of China, which hopefully means shell never go back there (China).
The Roujiamo is delicious and not expensive. It is recommended to eat it within 1 hour after receiving it. Paper bags are not suitable for long-term storage. The ingredients for the cold skin are all homemade by the store, giving it a unique flavor.
Liangpi is very soft Roujiamo has no taste The price is not cheap either It s a shame. I don t recommend it. I ll never come back again.
Excellent food! Noodles and pork bun are great
The place to go for cold skin noodles and great rou Jia mo. Been coming here for about 5 years now. Very reasonable price and quick service from the ladies in the back. Cash only and closes early so make sure to call ahead. One tip: lay the buns flat and not on its side to prevent the juices from running off until you get it home...
It s more delicious than the local ones in Xi an
Best pork bun in Toronto hands down!!!
The taste of Liangpi is absolutely authentic. There is no doubt that it will be five stars. The thing that can be improved is that I think the seasoning water is not tasty enough. It is not as delicious as the seasoning water from Bailuyuan. The Roujiamo is so delicious that you must buy it now and eat it now. It s crispy, fragrant and juicy. You can t go wrong!
The roujiamo is good
Delicious Liangpi
Not bad, can barely satisfy my cravings
Liang Pi and pork sandwiches are must gets!!!
The roujiamo is very fragrant. The cold skin is soft and delicious. Basically it s a very authentic Xi an taste
Liang Pi noodles are delicious and super authentic!! If you want the noodles, you have to come early because they frequently sell out before close. The Chinese Lamb Burger is also amazing, a must try. Probably the best in the GTA. Prices are decent for the portions too. They ONLY accept cash (they also accept etransfers lol). Also, they do not speak English so memorize your order in Mandarin
Take out only. Staff is friendly, and food is great and fast!
Very delicious, very chewy and smooth.
It s very good. I posted it on Moments and I think many friends will eat it soon
Delicious and authentic
Love love love this place!! So so authentic! Service is fast and very clean. Very friendly staff, they even asked me if I want water (I went in with my face was flushed from working out). I got the noodle and lamb and pork buns to go, it was amazing! My boyfriend really love it too (he s Caucasian). We pretty much eat it once a week now since we re close by.
Taste authentic.
Recommend the original cold skin! I personally don t recommend Roujiamo! Liangpi feels like the best in Toronto
The taste and service are very good. Recommend the Roujiamo and Liangpi
Im not from Shaanxi, so I dont know what the authentic taste is. By the standards of an outsider, the traditional Roujiamo is very delicious, but the Saozi Roujiamo is too salty and the cold skin has a strange taste.
I always visit this store when I go to Toronto. Love the cold noodle and burger!!!!
It s really not delicious. I only went there after seeing good reviews. I m so disappointed. Are all the good reviews based on trust?
a bit pricey, and the serve size became smaller.
Authentic and slightly expensive.
Good place for a quick bite.
Liangpi is super delicious! ! !
Liangpi is by far the best and most authentic, bar none
Good
good taste
Great taste, reasonable price, to bad not offer easy in
Clean, quick service, small and nice menu, friendly staff who explained everything to first timer. Delicious.
Just ok
The best roujiamo in Toronto, but a bit slow, worth the wait
The roujiamo was ok, but there were too few varieties, and the more you ate, the dryer it became. The cold skin and so on were all prepared in advance and were lumpy when taken out. Next time I come here, I will only buy Roujiamo.
Good tasting food
Spicy and delicious, the dough is chewy
My No.1 go to place for chinese cold noodle
Good taste
Today my colleagues ordered two party trays, and my uncle delivered the food on time. The quantity is also large. Everyone likes to eat it. The Roujiamo is also great.
The cold skin tastes good and the roujiamo is okay but the steamed bun is not crispy.
Too salty and not fresh!
I do not remember this place sorry, but if I visited it was ok.
Very good
The most authentic cold noodles in Toronto.
The best roujiamo in Toronto
Taste and price is OK. Really Small portion. You can find lots of better choices nearby.
Authentic Liangpi
This is the only place in Toronto you can get ulimited Liangpi. It is not real Xian taste, but it is very closed to. Try visit on weekend coz they make green and purple Liangpi noodle at weekend , which is fun! Dont forget to try Lamb Burger, it is awesome!
Really enjoyed the noodles and rou jia mo. Coming earlier in the day is probably better. They run out of some items after 6pm, and close at 7pm.
Roy his mo, long pi, so yammy
It tastes good. But he has to take his own garbage back.
nice chinese burger
The boss is very nice and always provides service with a smile. They have a spot in Richmond Hill that can be picked up daily. Very convenient and very good attitude.
