**CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU PAY** The food here is delicious, which is why I visited twice within a couple of days. On December 4th, I dined in, and everything was great. On December 6th, I ordered takeout, but when I got home and compared the receipts, I noticed something concerning. One of the items (葱香油餅) was $3.29 on December 4th but was charged $4.29 on December 6th, which means I was overcharged by $2 for the same item. This inconsistency makes me question the honesty of the pricing. While the food is good, the sudden price change without notice feels unfair to customers. I hope the restaurant can address this issue and be more transparent with their pricing.
Food here is excellent! The hulatang was hearty, rich, and full of amazing spices! The lamb noodle soup was amazing too as it had a clean soup base and al dente hand pulled noodles.
"I recently dined at an authentic Chinese local cuisine restaurant and tried a variety of dishes including 胡辣汤、油馍头、羊汤烩面、and 面筋. The overall experience was quite good. The 胡辣汤 was flavorful and comforting, the 油馍头 was crispy and delicious, the 羊汤烩面 was hearty and satisfying, and the 面筋 added a nice texture to the meal. The service was attentive and the ambiance was welcoming. I would rate my experience 4 out of 5 stars."
Very authentic Henan food, taste is same as traditional vendors in China! Even some of the baskets they use for the pan fried dumplings are the same as the use in China, talk about authentic😮
This is an authentic Chinese HeNan cuisine spot. Foods here are very authentic, best Henan street foods that I ever find overseas . We ordered: 胡辣汤:5/5- most recommended 油馍头:5/5-most recommended 羊肉烩面:4/5 炸菜角:4/5 牛肉煎包:3/5 小酥肉:4/5 The downside is : one of waitress / cashier has no smile ; the menu is written in Chinese (bad handwriting ) on the wall, and you have to order from the counter in order to look at the menu; some customers with kids are so loud ; otherwise it would be a 5.
Menu written only in Chinese on the wall, chinese TV playing in the back, somewhat greasy feeling table with owner who doesn't smile. Everything indicates authenticity and I was trilled. And yes their food didn't disappoint me at all! Huge bowl of lamb soup, with great hand crafted noodle, generous amount of meat. Lamb skewer was crunchy on the outside and juicy inside, simple yet standard menu that you can come back everyday. Service was quick and on the point. (Food came out in less than 3 min. )As a traditional chinese, I don't need a waitress greets, pretending to be my friend, let's me wait hours for food and charges me 20perc tip. This is our culture and it's great.
Specialized in Henan China cuisine. Very short a menu. Ordered their pepper soup, fried dough, Henan noodles and steamed fried pork. Not in the position to judge the authenticity of the food, but all seemed to be prett tasty. Reasonablely priced. The place was clean. The service was fine.
Hulatang was great! Goes well with Youmotou. Please order them together! The crunchiness of the deep fried youmoto and and savory thick hulatang was a great combination. It's like gravy with poutine XD. Fried dumplings was good too. Will recommend to everyone and revisit
It tastes even better since it was newly opened. The crispy pork is really delicious, and the mutton braised noodles are also great! Theres a lot of meat and its very fragrant. Although we are far away, we come here often.
The crispy pork belly tastes exactly as I remembered, and the fried buns and steamed buns are so delicious. I want to ask the boss if he plans to open one in Vancouver! (I am from Vancouver, and I have never eaten in a restaurant like this in Vancouver)
Spicy spicy soup and steamed buns taste very good
good
The best spicy spicy soup in Toronto, I ll miss you if you don t drink it for a few days
new management is abysmal used to be my favorite place, went to reopening and the food is completely awful, servers couldnt get orders right, will need major change before i can recommend to anyone
The taste is authentic and the portions are generous. I will come here to eat there often.
Spicy spicy soup, mutton braised noodles and fried buns are all very good (reviewed by Shaanxi and Northeastern people from Mengcun)
Not delicious anymore
Very authentic Henan Hu La Tang and fried donuts. Lamb soup is also very good. Henan hand pulled noodle is a must try as well.
The service was chaotic. I waited for 30 minutes. The people who came later than me had all their items served and mine were not served. The waiter s service attitude was like I owed her 8 million. What was she trying to do?
Decent Henan Province food, always a great brunch place for me and family.
Best Henan food
This is the most legit Henan Braised Noodles I have had in Canada. Its better than most of the places in Zhengzhou. their Hu spicy soup and Liangpi is legit too skewers are valuable Gem
The hot and spicy soup is delicious, the mutton braised noodles are a bit bland, and the fried noodles are very, very delicious! Freshly fried and hot, soaked in the soup, crispy and soft. There is 5% off cash, and the service attitude is good. It is recommended to go.
It tastes very homely. That waiter seemed like you owed her money, which is rare. Work is work without distinction, dont think about it even if you were from a scholarly family.
Ordered spicy tofu soup and Henan braised noodles. The food taste is okay at 3.5 points. But I found a bug. It s 15% off in cash, but the total price is wrong whether it s 9.5% off before tax or 9.5% after tax. Because the unit price is low, although the price difference is only a few cents, I feel that this business is not very honest.
I finally tasted the Yu Shi Ji that I have been longing for. The two kinds of soup are still a bit spicy (I cant eat spicy food). The bowl of short crispy pork and mutton braised noodles are very good. It has a strong hometown flavor. Friends who like spicy food remember to ask for the lamb spicy oil. , especially fragrant!
Authentic Henan food. So delicious. A must try.
My fellow Henanese from DT came here specially to eat this mutton soup. After drinking it, my friend said it was not fresh. I was stupid and naive at the time, thinking it was a Henan specialty with the taste of sheep, so I ate two bowls of haggis. One liter of croton. On the way home, the whole car smelled like sheep. Because I kept excreting gas, I couldnt hold it anymore. The aunt who stayed in the bathroom for half an hour to clean the bathroom was confused and thought that I was drinking haggis soup in the bathroom. After all, it tasted the same. Very fishy. After returning home, I stayed in the toilet for another half an hour. I felt the feeling of an engine running out of oil. My stomach and intestines were like an engine idling, but I didnt dare to add oil for fear of leakage.
Today, I confidently brought my friend who has been coveting Henan cuisine for a long time to enjoy the meal. I assured him that this is the most authentic Henan restaurant in Toronto. We ordered mutton braised noodles, crispy pork bowls, mutton soup, spicy spicy soup and steamed buns. They are all the most common Henan dishes in my mind, and they are also the ones I recommend to my friends. But the experience was hugely disappointing. The meat in the crispy pork bowl is loose and the bottom is black. It has been there for an unknown period of time. Take it out and heat it up before serving. The spicy spicy soup tastes weird, not even as good as the spicy spicy soup noodles in T&T. The fried steamed buns smell of siqi (I can t pronounce these two words in dialect). The mutton soup was not satisfactory but the mutton smell was strong. It could be basically judged as real mutton but not delicious. The only dish I can recommend among the dishes I ordered today is mutton braised noodles. The side dishes, soup and noodles themselves are very close to the taste in my memory, but the problem is still the same. The mutton has obviously been left for a long time and has a spoiled smell. And the taste is completely loose. This was also the first time I ate mutton braised noodles and ate all the food except mutton, leaving only the theoretically most expensive mutton, which was hard to swallow. Less than 20 minutes after finishing the meal, my friend and I started to have stomachaches. We couldnt even bear to go home, so we had to find a restroom in the subway station. After discussion, we concluded that all of the above foods may be the cause of diarrhea. Im more inclined to think its caused by mutton, while my friend is more inclined to believe its mutton soup. Generally speaking, I don t recommend making a special trip to this store (except for fellow friends who think they have a strong stomach). Of course, if you dont care about food safety, his braised noodles do taste very good. The service attitude has also been greatly improved compared to the first time I came to his home. The specific manifestation is that this time he did not show off his face to me. For those of you who are reading this, I want to express my sincere gratitude for your time. After all, in short, the full text above can be summarized in three words: Not recommended!
The food was quite good. The service was the best among the best. The waitress didnt know how to adapt at all. Three people came and couldnt pull a table over even though there were empty tables. They forced people to wait at the door for almost half an hour. It could have been solved in a few seconds. What happened, and then I was asked to get up and give up my seat to the people behind me when I was already sitting in an empty seat. Not to mention that I was a pregnant woman who was five months pregnant. Even if it were done to anyone who came very early and was waiting for a seat, it would not be appropriate. Bar? ? ? Moreover, from the moment I sat down to order to the end of the meal, I was not given a glass of water. When I was checking out, the lady was so arrogant that she only dressed up for takeout and didn t even notice that the queue for checkout was already very long and crowded. I hope your restaurant will also prepare the dishes well. Improve the service quality even if you dont require it to be very good, dont go too far, thank you. Parking: The number of parking spaces is okay, and you can usually find them. However, the parking spaces are a bit small, and there are unethical old men who park randomly at the door. You need to pay attention.
One of the best in town for noodles
Very good lamb soup. Not too oily, and the chicken knee/cartilage skewers were satisfying
The combination of spicy spicy soup and tofu curd is quite good and suits my personal taste. The price and portion seem to be very affordable today, and it is within the reach of working-class people. In addition, there are not many restaurants in Toronto that feature northern pasta, so it can be regarded as a unique restaurant. The store is not big, but it is clean and tidy, and parking is convenient.
Really authentic Henan cuisine. The hulatang tastes like my childhood!
The second time I came here, the spicy soup, braised noodles, short crispy pork, and small pan-fried buns were still very good and authentic. Especially the braised noodles are no different from what I ate when I was a kid. The cooking method, ingredients, and soup are all the same. Although I live far away, more than 50 kilometers away, I will come again. The service needs to be improved.
Please open Vancouver Please open it boss, please open it. I go there every day. Chinese people don t lie to Chinese people.
Ive been there a few times with my baby, and the attitudes are so different. That woman seems to owe her money. It s so rubbish. I ve never been there again.
The taste is okay. The waiter wearing glasses looks like he owes her money. He has no sense of service. This kind of attitude is rare when you come to eat.
Super delicious taste! The braised noodles tasted like He Kee. Love them! It will be a canteen in the future!
Delicious braised noodles! ! The meal comes out very quickly! The eldest sister is super nice! Very friendly~ Will come again next time!
More authentic Henan snacks, thumbs up and thumbs up
Please ask the boss to change the waiter.
The waitress is so cute. As the place was busy, it looks like she didnt know how to manage the situation.
It s really delicious, and the braised noodles come out very quickly! The eldest sister is super nice and very friendly. I love her
Spicy spicy soup and beef fried buns are delicious
Today is my first time. To be honest, food is ok. However, the waitress s attitude is horrible! - I guess she is the owner as well. No greeting, no smile, no thanks, no response even we say thanks! I just don t get it why she has to work here! Food tastes good but the service is the worse I ever had in Toronto!
The waitress is very enthusiastic and the service is very good. We will go there often.
Very authentic hometown taste The service is warm and friendly. When not busy, he is very easy-going to chat with customers I hope to add more varieties and make the menu more unique.
The food is as good as ever. I was surprised to see many people commenting on the poor service of the store. When we went there, it was full. Four tables were left at once, and many customers were queuing up. The waiter was busy with all the orders one after another. Eat, order, and close the table; we all arrive around meal time. It s normal for a bunch of guests to come and go together. The waiter can take care of all the tables by himself, and he can do it twice. Serving and giving tissues is really not easy. Everyone has inevitably shouldered a workload that is too much for one person to handle at work. No matter whether you have done similar work or not, I hope you can understand each other. A bad review will make people feel cold for a long time. If you really care about your work, If you have any suggestions, it will definitely be more heart-warming if you tell them in a friendly way in person.
Very good service The Liangpi and Hu spicy soup are particularly fragrant
Very delicious and authentic Henan cuisine! The Hu spicy soup is not the kind in Xiaoyaozhen, it is thicker, and it is perfect when mixed with oily steamed buns. The mutton braised noodles taste very good, and a sip of the mutton soup in the winter in Coyote Tuner is very replenishing! The pan-fried buns are also great, with lots of filling and crispy skin. Next time Ill try the crispy pork. There are not many kinds of dishes. I recommend the boss to add beef soup with fire-roasted buns.
Very delicious Henan restaurant! Very authentic, the ingredients are very fresh and delicious, delicious and not expensive, Goubangzi roast chicken is amazing!
Full of flavour with every bite. The cold noodles were our favourite. Only downside was I went at opening, and wasn t able to order until 30mins later due to food not being ready.
The braised noodles are delicious
the best Henan restaurant in the north America!!! If possible, I like to come everyday
fair price and good taste
Very authentic!!
There was a middle-aged waitress with a very bad attitude. I don t recommend eating there.
The spicy soup is very similar to the domestic ones, very spicy, and the fried buns are also good, but if the aunt doesn t know how to be a waiter, don t be one.
I went to this restaurant for some Henan food and the food are delicious .The waitress served us well with friendly greeting and services. I would recommend this place to others who love Henan food.
The food is delicious and the service is very enthusiastic. It is worth recommending [strong]
This store in Toronto can be said to be absolutely authentic and of high quality and low price. As for some people saying that the service is not good, I have never encountered it. If you talk to people in a nice manner, why is the service not good?
It s so delicious. I feel like I want to go home.
The taste is okay, but the attitude towards catering is like this, otherwise I wouldnt open a restaurant.
The tasty is well and the price is reasonable. The service and attitude is good even though it s busy.
It s not easy to eat Henan delicacies in a foreign country. I hope everyone can comment objectively. Dont let such a delicious restaurant disappear
The service is very good, and the food is a must-eat every week!
There are not many dishes, but all of them are delicious and exquisite. I like them all. The proprietress is warm and kind, I have to praise her even more! Worth going again.
Eat more and try this authentic Henan style snack. You will feel at home. The waitress is also very enthusiastic. Every time you come here, the waitress is busy. Foodies can try it.
The spicy spicy soup tastes very authentic, the steamed buns taste just like the ones in my hometown, and the fried buns and braised noodles are must-orders. All the food are delicious . The waiter sister is so capable. Every time I go there at noon on weekends, the tables are all full. The waiter sister is the only one who is busy ordering, delivering food, cashiering, clearing the table, packing takeout... She also takes the time to ask if she needs anything. It s really not easy. It would be impossible for ordinary people to do it. It deserves praise ! ! !
The braised noodles and spicy soup taste authentic, and even the children like the fried buns. I have eaten there many times since it opened. The sanitary conditions are also good. The waiters attitude is also very good. I hope it will get better and better in the future.
Noodle is impressively tasty with lots of ingredients. Worth coming back again.
Hu spicy soup is very authentic, just like the taste of hometown in Zhengzhou. The gluten-free steamed buns are a must-try and are delicious. The menu is simple but there are no pitfalls, just order whatever you want. The proprietress is from Northeast China and is very enthusiastic. 10/10 Will definitely recommend to friends.
The food is fine but the waitress is so rude - if you want the tips at least act like you deserve them. No one owes you anything
Poor service attitude. Talking to the lady at the front desk is as uncomfortable as eating a cockroach.
If the waiter is not good, dont hire him. Let the boss come out and serve himself.
The taste is very authentic, really the taste of my hometown, the spicy spicy soup is full of ingredients, and the side dishes are really delicious! The skin of the fried buns is a little thicker, but the filling is still good. The only waiter is very enthusiastic and takes the initiative to chat with customers. And they added English menu recently.
The spicy spicy soup is very delicious, and the fried buns taste just like those eaten in China! The mutton braised noodles are also very good. I highly recommend them to everyone. They are authentic and authentic from Henan. The waiters are also very enthusiastic.
This is my first time going to this place because it was brought here by a fellow villager. The spicy spicy soup tastes good, including the cold skin, the fried steamed buns, and the cold gluten stir-fry. Later I ordered takeout several times. I m very busy at work and haven t been there for a long time! Since I came back from Brampton after get off work, this place was closed. It was really a touching service. The Northeast lady in the store told me to add me on WeChat and let me know in advance so that the chef would prepare it and she would wait for me. Later, I didn t arrive at the store until almost eight o clock. The taste is good and the service is top-notch. Like
The food was average, many items that were ordered were not available.
There is very little mutton, the taste is average, the price is not cheap, I will not go there again
The spicy soup tastes so bad.
The service attitude of the waitress is problematic. She is not suitable for catering.
Terrible waitress food was good, but the waitress is a bit rude and keep asking more tips
Let s not talk about food first. This Northeastern waitress can make people lose their appetite. I strongly recommend that you quit your job if you don t want to work.
The lady serving me was very good I like service I like the food she recommended.i will surely come back next time
Since we heard about the spicy soup here, we often come from the west. It feels like home, and the lady at the front desk is also very friendly. She will say hello and chat with us. Although the eldest sister doesnt smile all the time, she is still very warm and responsive to our requests when we bring our family here. The food is also delicious.
Authentic Henan cuisine at very decent price, the waitress (Da Jie) is very friendly and taking care us every time. Highly recommend
We ve been here many times. The food was super authentic. I love cold rice noodles and Caijiao. Henan noodle soup and Hulatang are the must-go too. The service was good I think though sometimes the waitress lady was too busy to show smile since there was only one waitress.
Focus on the food you are good at and serve the taste you like.
The braised noodles and cold skin are good, and the crispy pork is very old. Maybe the chef was distracted today and fried it too old, haha. Hu spicy soup is average.
The service attitude is excellent and the braised noodles are very authentic! Kid-friendliness: Braised noodles and fried buns are both suitable for children
It s our first time to try He Nan dishes in Toronto. The signature soup- hulatang was not meeting my expectation at all. The menu options were very limited and the menu was written on the wall. The service was bad with no greeting and no smiles. The dinning table wasn t looking clean and the room was not bright and cannot even see the dishes clearly
It was not lunch yet, so I came early, so the boss arranged for me to sit down first. The dishes were very good, and I was impressed
The service and food were both subpar. On top of that, the prices were quite high for the quality. This was one of the worst experiences I ve had. Im genuinely surprised that this restaurant is still operating in Toronto. It seemed like most of the food was pre-prepared and reheated. The waitress never smiled, yet she insisted on a minimum 15%-25% service fee. Needless to say, we wont be returning.
Cash only. Great good, so so service. It s been so long since I ve had Henan food, I ve been searching for one in North America and this is the spot! Many traditional Henan food. Menu is hand written in Chinese.
Very dirty and stale
People from Henan have personally verified that it tastes really good, but if the front desk clerk doesn t want to go to work, he should resign as soon as possible.
The attitude of the waitress is extremely bad! The portions of the food were very small. The girl who was traveling with me ordered a mutton noodle dish that she would normally not be able to finish at other places, but she was not full at this place. And the price is not cheap either. Bad review!
The middle-aged waitress was extremely rude. She couldnt say hello, thank you, or sorry. She spoke harshly, had a bad attitude, and always kept her face straight. The boss is also outrageous. The first time I came here to add noodles, the extra noodles cost one yuan. The second time I came, the waiter told me that in the future, the extra noodles would cost two yuan. Today, it was still one yuan. When I checked out, he told me that I would add more noodles today. Noodles cost two yuan, and additional noodles in the future cost three yuan. He also said that the boss said it would be outrageous if the price of noodles changed three times after one meal. Bad review, no matter whether your business is doing well or not, this is the last copper you will earn from me, and you will never come back again!
Food is decent, but service is horrible.
Been there for multiple times, food was overall ok. However the young waitress I encountered during my last visit was extremely unpleasant and no manner at all.
Amazing food, good service and fast delivery. Looks very clean from inside.
Everyone from Henan who has seen it, please come here. After several appraisals: the spicy noodle soup in some places in Henan is more authentic, and the price is also reasonable! Folks, you must come and support us, it s the only one in Toronto.
Delicious and filling! Will come here to eat often.
The boss is very nice and friendly. The waitress is also very friendly and always asks questions and answers patiently! It just tastes a little bland!
The salted tofu is average, the mutton soup is good, and there is really a lot of meat. The braised noodles are also very good. The soup base is unique. The beef pot stickers are a little oily, but they are delicious.
The menu is on the wall in Chinese only. Food prices is low plus 5% discount with cash payment. Food was okay for the price. There was a program running in Chinese on the TV which was very loud. The server doesn t come to take ur order u have to go there and place ur order.
Amazing food. Tastes very similar to the dishes I had in Zhumadian.
Certified by Henanese, a very homely and authentic Henan restaurant The mutton braised noodles with braised tofu skin are especially good Ate for three days in a row
I ordered spicy soup and steamed buns, and my friend ordered cold noodles to take away. All pretty good
The spicy soup is only salty but not spicy, and the oily soup is useless.
The address of the store is easy to find. The store is also very clean. Henan children are really ecstatic to be able to drink spicy soup and eat steamed buns in Toronto What the boss makes should be the kind of spicy soup that you can eat twice a day, not the kind that is purely spicy and then sprinkled with vinegar and sesame oil (The boss said that he just opened the business and there are not enough staff to make tofu nao for two times) The boss heard that I was from Henan and asked me to give me some advice. He felt that it had just opened and it was not perfect in all aspects. In the past few days, the network in the store was not stable and I couldn t pay by credit card. I could only use cash, but there was a BMO ATM not far ahead. The boss said I ll probably be able to swipe my card next week The boss said that after a while, they will start to sell fried buns and meat boxes. For now, the store only has spicy soup, steamed buns, braised noodles and Liangpi (liangpi is only available in the evening). The portion of spicy spicy soup is quite large for a girl to finish. I ended up with half a bowl of spicy spicy soup and a small portion of steamed buns I hope the boss s business is booming and he can quickly pass the trial opening and put all the delicious food in the store on the shelves
Delicious spicy spicy soup, so fragrant
I am very happy that there is a place that sells hot and spicy soup. The taste of the spicy hot soup is very light compared to my hometown. Maybe it is to cater to the publics taste. The fried buns and oily steamed buns are cold and not crispy. I wish it will get better and better, and add new dishes, tofu nao pancake, glutinous rice noodles and vegetable corner. Come on
There is no menu, you have to look at a piece of paper to order, and it takes you back to before liberation in one second! Only give half a glass of water. Cup reminder! The soup and noodles of the braised noodles are highly consistent with the instant braised noodles bought in the supermarket!
The spicy spicy soup is so delicious, you must add the fried steamed buns. One of the best restaurants in Henan. Friends said that this braised noodle restaurant is also very authentic. After ordering a bowl, I couldn t stop eating it in one sitting. The first sip of the soup took me to Henan. Like, like, like!
The best and most authentic Henan braised noodles, spicy soup and fried steamed buns I have ever tasted in Toronto. Super satisfied!
One of the best braised noodles in Toronto. The spicy soup and steamed buns are also very good!
It took me an hour to drive. When I went there for the first time, there was no noodles. Instead, there was spicy spicy soup and steamed buns. The spicy spicy soup was delicious. The second time I went, I finally had braised noodles and pan-fried buns, but the taste was a bit worse. I feel that the food delivery speed is relatively slow, and the stocking is not very sufficient, and the management is a bit chaotic, which affects the dining experience.
Very delicious Super authentic and authentic taste. Although we went there late, they were very busy and almost all the items were sold out. We only had beef fried buns with spicy soup and fried steamed buns, but they were all super delicious! ! ! There are not many choices, but the taste is unbeatable~~ Highly recommended
Authentic Henan flavor, chef from Zhengzhou, recommended
Nice food here
I lost my hair after eating fried buns The braised noodles are very average and the soup base is wrong. The store is also short of manpower and busy.
The fried buns are quite delicious, with a homely taste. But Hu spicy soup is the key criticism! Which place in Henan has the spicy spicy soup that you make? The taste is very thin and the thickening is not enough. The point is that the taste does not have the taste of pepper or chili. It is just salty. This just looks like spicy soup. Well, there is no taste of spicy soup. I came all the way to come here. I thought I would finally be able to eat spicy soup in Toronto, and I was so happy. But when I went there, I was disappointed. It was so disappointing.
It has been many years since I left home, and it really made me burst into tears when I tasted such authentic Henan flavor again. Its very delicious and cheap. Its just not convenient to eat in downtown. Otherwise, I really want to go to his place to eat every day!
The fried steamed buns are delicious. I ordered a few of them and they didn t disappoint me at all. Northerners probably love them. The only thing is that the waitress looks too fierce, her eyes are darting around like shes trying to scare people by eating monsters.
The first time I went there, the female clerk was too down-to-earth. When the place was full, I asked how long the wait would be. She just said I don t know, and her attitude was very bad.
The braised noodles are super delicious and the portions are huge.
After the closure of Yuqing Noodle House in the past few years, a Henan restaurant finally appeared again, which was a bit exciting. There are not many things to order so far, but the steamed buns and vegetables with spicy soup and oil are very good. It is very satisfying to eat as breakfast. Currently, the portion of the steamed buns is quite large, suitable for two bowls of soup. I will try it again when there are more dishes. Great Henan cuisine! Probably the best in town since Rain & Sunny Restaurant moved to London. Defintely try their Hulatang (pepper soup) and Youmotou (fried dough). There are only limited items on the menu now, hut I would for sure come back and check out other dishes later.
I really went home in a second Some dishes are a little different from the ingredients commonly seen at home, but the taste is the same. People from Henan will really be moved to tears when they come to eat it
The boss is from Henan, and the spicy spicy soup is quite authentic. Right! It s the taste of hometown, the price is affordable and the portions are big. It s a restaurant run by Henan people, hahaha
Ordered braised noodles, gluten, cabbage corners, crispy pork, and fried beef buns Super delicious This is the taste feeling of coming home
Authentic taste of hometown. Only to Scarborough. Come here to satisfy your craving.
The food tastes very authentic and very delicious! Its just that the service attitude needs to be improved, and can the menu be moved to another place, maybe placed under the front desk? Every time I come in, I have to run to someone else s seat to look at it, which is very embarrassing! The phone number is also wrong and it is difficult to order in advance! I hope the boss will do better and better!
It was so comfortable to eat at his house!
The attitude at the front desk is quite bad and there is no service at all. The food is as good as ever, I plan to take out instead of dine-in in the future
Generally speaking, the taste is okay. Although it is definitely not as good as the domestic ones, it is quite happy to be able to eat hometown delicacies in Toronto. But the attitude of the landlady... Before I came here, I read reviews saying that the service attitude in the store was not good, but now I understand that what she said was true. There really was no service at all. As a fellow villager, I have been subjected to this kind of attitude from the boss. So if people from other provinces came to dine in with the intention of trying Henan food, what would they think about the bosss indifferent attitude? I don t know if it s because the boss has underdeveloped facial muscles and is naturally expressionless or something else. His expression is cold and his tone is not very good, as if the customer owes you money. You should at least have a good attitude towards customers, right?
Delicious and authentic. The most important thing is that the service is very good and the people are very friendly. Recommended to go
The auntie may have a bad attitude as the proprietress, but the knitting service is not enough.
Im so happy to be able to eat it abroad...I drive here from the United States. The service level needs to be improved but the food is authentic
No English menu.
Finally found a Henan restaurant in Toronto that serves spicy soup, fried buns and braised noodles! The highlight is the fried buns! ! It really tastes like home, and I felt very friendly from the first time I went to this store. The taste is very friendly, and the people are also friendly. When the boss heard that he was from Henan, he also came to chat, and there was also a Northeastern lady. At first I thought He is a bit aloof, but upon contact, he turns out to be a person with a cold face and a warm heart. He is really cute. Every time I go there, I eat until I am exhausted. I hope it will continue to open!
The food inside is very authentic and delicious! ! ! ! ! ! ! The boss lady has a very nice personality! ! RecommendedRecommended
Please call them in advance as they might close earlier than they promised. I drived half an hour to this restaurant but its closed half an hour early
The taste is very authentic, I hope there will be more dishes in the future
