ZERO STARS!!! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! There are many other Tim Hortons in this area. Do yourself a favour and go there instead to safe yourself headache & frustration! Thank me later! It normally takes a lot for me to leave negative reviews for a business because I myself am I business owner and I understand how hard it is to conduct business. I have over 100 reviews! 95% of them are positve. But there are certain businesses and locations that need to overhaul their business practices or owners who should "NOT" be in business. This Location is one of them! TO the OWNER & HEAD OFFICE! If you read reviews, you need to seriously conduct a full review of this location and it's business practices! This location needs a new owner because the current does not care to fix the ongoing issues here. Read the other reviews and see how many other people complain about this location and the ongoing issues here and lack of customer & care. I've lived in this area for 8 years. This is the closest location to my house. But Me & my family have an ongoing joke of how we all avoid this location on Ellesmere & Birchmount. There are so many other reviews that state the same. There maybe a REAL problem here if SO MANY customers actively drive to other locations further away to avoid doing business with this place. Here are some of the many issues I've experienced here. Constant broken equipment that is left for long periods of time without being fixed. "Our ice cap machine is broken" "We are out of eggs" "Credit card machine doesn't work" "Our toaster is Broken" - This one was funny it went on for 2 weeks Not to mention, the orders are consistently given wrong. They have overcharged me in the past and I've let it go because whats the difference for $1 or $2 Against my better judgement, I went there today because i thought it would be convenient due to my route. I ordered my usual and they overcharged me. I ordered one combo and 1 extra sandwich and paid for it. And left the drive through. As I started driving I realized that my usual order was $2 higher than normal. I realized that they probably added an extra hashbrown, which costs $2 to my order. I said okay that's fine I'll take the extra hashbrown I paid for ill eat it later but let me check my bag. To my surprise there was only one hashbrown in the bag. This really upset me because they messed up my order yet again & I knee this location would fo something like this & I said to myself "DO NOT" go here but did anyways. So I made this mistake giving this location another chance and my business. This story gets better. I went inside to let the employees know what had happened and multiple employees claimed that this is how the order works and the hashbrown is in fact charged separately. I told them this is my usual order and I know the exact amount I pay everytime and they were insistent I was wrong and I told them to get me the manager. The manager comes out and she looks less than impressed and almost angry that I am bothering her. She isn't making eye contact with me and looking elsewhere the whole time we talked and acting like I'm wasting her time. I made her ring through the order correct for her to realize they overcharged me and gave me less than I ordered. She finally refunded me the $2. Not once did she apologize for the mistake until I told her that maybe they owe me an apology. I realized at this point this is a standard practice at this location. They basically overcharge people in the drive thru and these unsuspecting people leave or don't pay attention to their total, because this isn't the 1st time its happened to me here. This makes this location all kinds of extra money everyday. Imagine overcharging $2 only 10 people in 1 day that's an extra $20 in their till. This is shameful behavior. Tim Hortons, please do better & reevaluate this location and the owner. They do not deserve this location.
Did not complete my order and no refund at the time. Was asked to come back in the morning because stuff was not trained to do refunds. Manager was very helpful and quick with help the next day. I do not recommend the app to order as inventory is not updated.
These guys don’t fill up your cup. There’s an inch of space left when they pour in your tea or coffee. When you ask them to top it off they say it will spill. They’re lazy and are ripping people off. Also let me mention that when I lined up they were more concerned about having their own conversations than helping out customers. How was I waiting for someone to acknowledge me when there are 8 of you standing around. They need someone who specializes in customer service to train them.
The absolute worst experience. Every. Single. Time. I go back every single time thinking it’s most convenient for me and maybe they’ll be better the next time. However, they fail to even meet the basics each time. Either they fill up the coffees and iced capps way too low as if we’re only paying for 3/4 of a full cup or somehow they manage to mess up the food orders. Whether they’re SO busy or there’s no line up at all, they still mess up the orders. Today, I ordered a bagel with extra butter and 2 slices cheddar cheese, a sausage biscuit combo (with hashbrown and coffee) and medium iced cappuccino. I was already disappointed with the iced capp. being filled so low but I was already tired of complaining from previous orders so didn’t say anything. I double-checked all items were in the bag and drove off only to drive 20mins away to my destination to open the food orders and see that they forgot the cheddar cheese in my bagel along with the egg portion in the sausage biscuit. RIDICULOUS. I’m so furious and disappointed. Once or twice, I can somewhat understand. But every time, busy or not, that’s frustrating. The quality of the food and quality of service is so so disappointing at this location. Employees just don’t care even when you do complain and their responses are so heartless even though you’re paying for what you order. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
If there was a zero star possible I would even not zero it would be 100 negative star the worst ever Tim Horton I’ve seen in my history of visiting Tim Horton, at 4:30 pm Saturday not even in the morning rash waiting more than 10 minutes not even anyone ask what do you want I asked for a manager told no manager available asked a supervisor a lady showed up the worst ever person and a supervisor position extremely rude saying it’s not my fault go talk to some one we have shortage of staff But where I can see kitchen was full of staff there was no balance between drive through and walk in I’ve seen too many Tim Hortons they are doing excellent job it could be a result of just lack of training My recommendation is to send manager and employees for retraining to training centre or bring some other 5 star employees from different location to train the manager plus his all employees
Worst service ever. From the speaker order taker cuts you off and sounds annoyed that you need more than a coffee. Went to the window asked the white foreign lady a question and she rolled her eyes and called over this Muslim lady who just seemed annoyed to be there. No customer service she very rude. Don't expect to use or gain rewards here. The scanner never works and when it does work, they ask to physically hold your phone or card and bring it inside the drive thru window to scan it. Your asking for fraud chargers on your card if it's on your phone. Good luck! Why is this place a Tim Hortons if the rewards program never works. Note: I can't respond to Tim's Hortons Owner response but I have contacted Tim Hortons several times and no one has responded.
DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE. I had a very disappointing experience at this location. The service was poor, and I felt uncomfortable while ordering. As I was placing my order, three more employees approached, seemingly more interested in observing what I was going to order rather than assisting. This is not the way customers should be treated. Additionally, I ordered an Oreo cappuccino but was given a regular cappuccino instead. It was frustrating to witness the staff gossiping about personal matters, such as their ages, which was disturbing while I was dining. Thank you for ruining my day .

Having a Tim Hortons in the Oshawa hospital is very convenient. The staff are very friendly and very festive for Christmas. I wish they would stay open 24 hours as people in emergency and visitors would appreciate that. All that s available is vending machines with garbage in them.

The lady who made my breakfast touched her dirty phone and talked to someone and cleaned the work table with the dirty clothe with that same dirty hand she made my breakfast with out washing her hand or put on the gloves. For some reason, the servers here are rude very rude. Especially a server by the name of Ella that worked on November 8th at exactly 8:50 p.m. if she feels that she has authority by speaking to clients or customers the way she does I would not recommend this location I wouldnt go however if you want a nice friendly service go to Warden and huntingwood or brimley and huntingwood.

The only place where I come with my family and friends and drink fresh coffee. There is plenty of parking space, a slightly green hill where you can sit with friends and enjoy a coffee. Note: It is not a place to come and sit with children because there is not much space.

On September 20, 2024, at 10:45 AM, my wife and I visited this store, where we ordered six muffins and some coffees. To my surprise, the muffins were placed upside down in a paper bag. I asked the attendant [an Indian girl] at the counter if she could put them in a box instead, explaining that we had bought six muffins and that it would be more presentable since we intended to share them with family and friends. She insisted it was against the store policy. When I requested to speak to her on-duty manager, she informed me that the manager was off that day. I found this frustrating and a poor example of customer service. That was not the first time we bought 6 or more muffins, but it was the first time I got them in a paper bag instead of a box. I plan to report this issue to the management to express my dissatisfaction with their policies and service.
I paid my bill in drive thru. She said not going thru I pay again. I ask her my both bills. She said call your credit card company I can t give you receipt. And said get out here we are busy. I went inside I ask any manager here I want to talk to them another lady said you have call later. Then I called someone answered said manager is busy you can t talk to her. This is a way do customer service at Tim Hortons. The mean time I call my credit card they said charge went through 2 times.

This location has a problem with the scanner for Points every now and then especially with roll up the rim their scanner didn t work so we didn t have a chance to win or get points for what you ordered. Also, Time to time their debit machine doesn t work so if you don t have cash, you can t get a coffee. The problem has been since last year they make so much money you think they would have this fixed already and they don t. They give you donut sandwiches without a napkin without putting in a bag they give you tea without the sleeve so you don t burn yourself. I also go to the Tim Hortons by Victoria Park and 401 , it s the best store ! I went today at Tim Hortons at Midland just south of Ellesmere , there s a scanner at the ordering station and at the ordering window . A sleeve was provide for my tea , with out asking my sandwich in a bag with napkin. The Birchmount / Ellesmere store should learn from both stores .

Neethu gave most horrible customer service. She refused to use my discount. And then took my money anyways and said she s unable to refund it, and come back another time. When I asked to get my order anyways, she said no. I m out $20 for this order and was scammed by these workers.
There is a long queue of customers, there is only one employee working hard outside, and the employees inside talk nonsense and dont care about the customers outside, so dont go.
Ive been here twice and ordered at the drive thru both times. And both times, the scanner was not working so I would not be able to get points or redeem offers through the app. The employees did not offer me a receipt so I could potentially collect points at a later time. This morning I ordered the maple bacon on a cheese croissant and the food was okay but definitely not worth $6.00 for the sandwich alone. Its understandable that issues with the app will happen but Tims should have alternatives in case the scanner isnt going to be working and the employees should be telling customers how to collect points.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I wanted my iced capp less cream (which i always ask at any Tim Hortons location and would gladly modify my iced capp). This location DID NOT! The server still had to call another staff and both told me they cant do it because that is how they do the iced capp. Really??!! That is why there is a so-called modify as per customers request. Wont go back here! I was just around the area thats why I ended up getting my Iced capp here but not anymore.

This is by far the worst Tim Hortons location I ve been to. Unfortunately it s the only drive through in my area, which is why I decided to give it a second try. Although I will get my lazy a$$ out of the car at a DIFFERENT location rather than go here or suggest anyone else go here. They can t even scan the rewards on my Apple Watch, therefore they probably can t even scan it on a phone without taking the phone from you. Their excuse?: Their cord isn t long enough. The first time I went here, they said the transaction didn t go through when, in fact, it did. And I had already left. Luckily head office fixed that for me because this location doesn t have the skills for even basic customer service. Starbucks is only $1 more for a basic coffee and it s two streets over, just save yourself the hassle and don t bother at this Tims.

Went to drive through. First the lady was rude on the speaker when I asked a question. Then at the window after I paid, the guy handed us a large order. I had to put the drinks in the holder. He re opens the window saying thank you sir rudely as he taps his fingers. I told him theres no one behinde me. He then opens again and says the same thing with an attitude. Not nice at all. Overall bad experience for my two young children. This happend around 10:30 am on May 4, 2024. I know people are stressed and having a hard time right now with the economy. I dropped by this location to have a beverage before going for an appointment. I placed a mobile order in the restaurant since I was with an elderly family member. I watched the cashier (Abdul) served 3 people in line (who were there after me) and and then I stood by the mobile pick up area. Afterwards, a courier came was started chatting wiht the cashier. He then handed the courier his order. I said that I was waiting for my mobile order and that I should have been served ahead of the courier. He argued that the courier was there before me. It has been a very frustrating incident.
How is it possible that their scanner is always not working?! At least twice weekly that is impossible, we have never encountered another Tim Hortons that has had this issue! Sooo must be management? Maybe they dont want to give free coffee? Its ridiculous, and seems very dubious....

Very bad service and unfresh food. A few months ago, l drove through, after l ordered the food, l arrived the window. The sever told me to drive around and line up again to get my food, because l need to wait for 5 minutes to get it. That means l lined up twice to get my food. I was upset but l still did it. What made me very angry is the guy lined just behind me occupied the window for more than 10 minutes to get his food. Then drove away. I thought because my skin color make me get different service. I called the headquarter to complained about it. I wondered if anyone else got the same treatment as me. Today l went to there again to buy a pack of donuts. I found later l got a very unfresh donut hard as a stone. l believe they left it over for a few days. Very disappointed with this location and will never go there again.

Nearest Tims to me so been going there for years, but the service always leaves much to be desired, other than after 8 when its pretty empty and you can get quick service. Drive through is probably the only way to go for this location for quick service in the day time. Did a mobile order for take out today, and waited in the mobile order section of the store, with no employees helping. Manager was answering questions for a prospective employee right there, but promptly walked away from me. Other employees walking around did not pay attention. I line up and tell the cashier I have a mobile order, and they direct me back to the mobile order sign to wait, so I go wait again. Wait almost another 10 minutes. See the manager and other employees looking at me, but no help. Finally line up again, and angrily tell the cashier that Ive been waiting for 15-20 minutes now, so he apologizes and gets me my order. I dont blame the employee, I blame the manager who doesnt manage this and has constantly been rude everytime an issue like this has occured over the years. Mobile order was sent at 11:11 am. Didnt get food until around 11:30. Parking: Limited parking lot unless you want to go park further away near the burger king area. Drive through is tight and right by an entrance to the parking lot.

No wonder this has such a poor rating. The manager training other staff is horrible at her job as well. I ask for a bagel toasted on both sides (how i always get it and like it) she looks annoyed to even take my order and replies it will be burnt then is that ok... What? um no, its not ok and it wont be burnt... I told her to turn up the speed of the tray so it doesnt get burnt.. She pauses looks even more mad and says ok. (This is the manager BTW and she was training other staff at the time as well. This is how your teaching them to treat customers?) She also didnt mention it to the worker almost to make sure it would burn and I had to ask her to tell them which after she did.. Your coffee cups leak all the time. They constantly leak at the top, and at the bottom. Why do your cups leak? It is happening 9/10 times. You should improve the wages of your employees as well, given that inflation has increased the costs of living and they are working under constant stress. I recommend improving on these items for a better review.

September 23, 2023 Before embarking on a lengthy drive, I made a quick pit stop to grab my morning coffee. We opted for the convenience of the drive-through. The employee who took our order was quite courteous. However, the coffee lacked sufficient sugar, and the bagel wasnt toasted, leaving it rather soft. While the meal wasnt prepared to my ideal specifications, it certainly didnt rank as the worst Ive ever had.
Food is good as expected. Very busy store and the service was quite good Parking: Plaza parking
Shocked to get such a bad behaviour from employee @ KAVITA.She was rude,gave cold tea and after taking order mentioned she didn t have half the order.looks like she needs to change her job.what a difference from Mississauga where everyone is polite. Cleanliness @ 0/10. Come on Tim Hortons Management we expect better
3 oct 5.30 am bunch of girls working there. I mean i know you guys are on minimum wage but if you dont like it just go away do something else . Indian girl on the intercomm goes like can you speak up sir . After guving my order she s like hmmm. Then goes on with her job to give me a horrible burnt out coffee no sugar in it also asked for a vanilla shot in the coffee which she clearly didnt think was important not even stirred the coffee . I mean bro come on atleast put sugar in the coffee . If i wasn t time bound would have gone back to have a chat with the staff . Worst tims ever they need to train their employees again on how to take orders and make coffee
everybody knows how is tim horton but the one thing they have to look after is cleanliness not every customer of their s is same they didnt put their belongings to garbage so they have to look after the tables and clean them time to time

Drive through staff during night is very rude.
I bought 4 iced capp and it was worst , she never shaked it properly just mixed ice with liquid and gave us , my kids hate this one though they love iced capp. Please trained these girls how to do good job. Thank you
Its a real disappointment going to these places now because the workers are just so rude and have no common courtesy to even be polite. They need better training...and how about switching up the people who work there with people of other cultures as well .. it doesnt have to be just workers from the same country...learn to work with other people. ...hygiene also needs to be shown to the workers because they should never have bad body oder while working with food...Common tim Hortons...you guys make enough money, take a lesson from Starbucks and properly train your employees

The staff is so rude especially those ones who are serving the drive thru I have ordered first turkey bacon club he said he have but not lettuce and then I said can you add extra bacon to it if you guys dont have the lettuce he said we cant we will charge extra bacon like seriously and then we ordered again same thing he said we are not serving any sandwiches earlier he said they are serving wow great experience I will never visit this location.
They made a wrong order and were not ready to accept it and said they dont have frizz

Made an online order. Stood at mobile pick up & was yelled at by a lady who told me to let them know next time I thought mobile orders were for picking up not to stand in line. Incident was for mobile order 9329 around 3:25pm Nov. 26
Only Kinjol (?) smiles and greets clients sincerely here. Since this is in my neighbourhood, I usually go to this restaurant first, although most of the time I wonder why Im here.
