The breakfast special is great, large portions and will keep you full for the day. The one thing I really like about Markham Station is that their eggs are high quality. The place is always busy so service can be a little slow, but it s fine. No complaints

We have been to this restaurant many times, food was not something to complain. But today we went around 7:10pm and until 7:20pm no one attended , they walked passed us and didn t even look at the waiting area. After 10 min , the lady walked in and we purposely walked out because we felt like they didn t care about the customers and I know if we eat there , we will be complaining about the food as well. So it s better to leave.

This is an excellent breakfast place! Service is very quick and this is a large location. They have it figured out!

We come here several times a year to meet up with our sons, as they have extremely busy schedules and this restaurant is a halfway between our two sons. The staff are ALWAYS, friendly and attentive just excellent service! The food is excellent, (thanks chefs) especially breakfast and the ROASTED potatoes! Merry Christmas GREAT PLACE!

The service has always been excellent and my table was clean. The waitress was good at what she does.

Not as friendly as it used to be. Wait staff during the day always seem so uptight. I never see a manager around. Literally no atmosphere. This used to be a great stop for me and my crew, not anymore.

I use to go to the Markham station in Richmond Hill because of it proximity and the food was decent for the price point. Since moving to the city, I now go to the Scarborough location. I have to say I like this location even better. Khadija always welcomes you with a big smile that is genuine. The service and attention to detail she provides is second to none. The food is pretty much the same as the other location. It is because of her that this is my go-to place in for take out.

I always enjoy coming to Markham Station. Its a very friendly place with great food. Parents always brought me here as a kid after skating. This place is the best place in Scarborough.

I have been coming here for many, many years, and today, I decided to have the chicken fajitas, and it, to be honest, was the best Ive ever had, plus like always Ive gotten top notch service by Anne who is so awesome plus she already had our coffee ready for us upon us being seated. I always love coming here. I would give 10 stars if I could.. This is the best lunch and breakfast place to come eat and the best day is on a Sunday. I highly recommend coming here to eat breakfast or lunch... you wont be disappointed.....

The service i got yesterday from the take out side was very disappointing the guy was very unpleasant to order from i even saw him throw a menu on the ground wen I accidentally left it my the cash register he needs to work on not taking his emotions out on the customer wen his fellow work mates miss a shift if I was his supervisor I would of made him work in the back and not let any one else go thru the treatment I went thru trying to order a nice breakfest for my family.

Saw one of the cooks trying to clear a backed up urinal with same apron being used to prepare peoples food. water from the urinal was splashing everywhere. At least ditch the apron if youre going to do bathroom maintenance...its unsanitary to do otherwise

Pancakes at first were cold and cold on the inside as well. After I complained to the server, she got freshly prepared pancakes, hot enough. You can taste the difference - something that was freshly prepared. So, at The end, I am still happy.

The food was good. We had salmon and fries, and fish and chips, along with cheesy garlic toast and a regular toast. For some reason we couldnt always finish the food, so we had it to go and gave it away. Service was also good. Overall, it wasnt at all bad.

Been coming here for years since i was a child, i tried to call and order take out in the morning the guy obviously has a problem and unprofessional, he doesnt know how to answere the phone and talk to people properly he gave me attitude i had to call multiple times for him to answere as, the 1st time i called he says hello then puts me on hold, i hang up and called back 3times for him to finaly answere and gives me attitude as i kept saying hello hello is anyone their can u hear me, then says yes ive been on the phone but u never asked me what i wanted and just stayed silent on the line like a weirdo,i got my breakfast special and had a suspicion he did something with my food, in the breakfast special i ate something that smelled and tasted like rotten garbage i had to spit it out and puked the rest of the breakfast this is the second time my food was bad and now i found out it was intentional, i will never be returning back to this place for very bad service and quality of food, the white guy was in the mornings is lucky i didnt tell him off and make a scene.

Well.. I guess everywhere is feeling the food pinch. The food here is good and there arent a lot of 24/7 places, Markham St, Perfect Restaurant and Johnnys Burgers. And each one their portion size is about the same but Markham St has a good atmosphere, youll want to order more because of it and the nice servers. Why they dont have an up size option on their menu boggles me. Id rather give this place business than McDonalds or Perfect Restaurant.. Perfect sees non Chinese customers and know non Chinese will tip more than Chinese patrons but yet try to get away with less food and even less service. At Markham Stn. The wait staff makes the experience enjoyable. Dont know there names and itll sound bad bad the black girl with the beautiful smile and the Indian girl who makes you feel at home can make you come back just to visit and have a cheesecake with coffee and hangout.

Vegetarian options: Markham Bowl, i think it was called was a solid vegitarian option, can add chicken or steak to it, it is a lot like a burrito bowl Parking: Lots of parking, parking lot is pretty dark at night but i didnt feel in danger or anything

Lovely staff! I had a job there about 35 to 40 years ago and may not have been Markham Station then. It also became our late night stop after drinking downtown. Food was phenomenal and staff are ever so friendly. Food : 5/5

Food and price are fair, but was told only allow 30-45mins dinning time during rush hour. I do not recommend coming on Friday morning. Though it s a good place for short breakfast.

Solid 3. Came here early morning for the Early Bird breakfast $9.99. I took their eggs with sausages with home fries. I would recommend those to stay away from the turkey bacon (I tried it from moms breakfast order) it was dry and paper thin. Coffee is not included, however the service was exceptionally friendly and attentive.

Me and my partner came here for the 1st time for breakfast. We both had different types of eggs benny. We both absolutely loved our meals. After looking over the menu, well definitely be back to try some more food. Service was great! Really enjoyed ourselves cant wait to come back.

The host in training put us in a corner area where it was jammed in the corner, while the restaurant was half empty. We asked if we could sit somewhere else and the middle eastern server said sit over there where there are 3 table booth that fits 8 people. Suddenly an older lady busser, looked at us and said no its only 8 people. She was so rude and continue talking about us on the floor which i confronted her. Our asian lady server was great but this older cranky caucasian lady had 0 customer service. How can you just talk out loud about your customer on the floor with other people?? Are you trying to embarrass them or state a fact? If you wanna talk about your customers in from of them then you should work in a morgue! Service use to be great here but it has become so bad here. This will be our last time coming here!

Its OK. Its just good enough. Drunks in the bar can be annoying. I come only when Im hungry and everything else is closed. Food isnt bad, but its nobodys number 1 choice.

The food wasn t that great. The ketchup looks like it s just been refilled and uses cheap commercial ketchup, not a real Heinz brand. It is expensive, charges $7 for 2 coffees that doesn t even taste good. Eggs don t look like sunny side up and too small. I ordered bacon on the side for $3.99, they served me 2 small tiny bacon. It was over charge and were not very happy. It was my fist and last time going to that place

The place needs to be renovated, I felt like I went back in time to the early 90s. Also the type of people that show up at the bar are very sketchy. Customers park their cars right on the street in front of the place blocking the door. Should have parking enforcement give out tickets, its unsafe.

The place is amazing, but we miss the indian boy amaan , his big smile at entrance always gave us warm welcome on weekends. The other boys are ok but always on phone whenever we come . Need some bit improvement over there.

Great food and service. Unfortunately, the condition of the women s bathroom was awful. Poop smears on the outside of the toilet bowls, on the floor and the stall walls. Very little room in the stalls to get out, had to squeeze through the door opening so as to not touch any of the poop smeared surfaces. Disgusting!!

Normally I don t leave reviews like this. But after this experience, I felt the need to. I was excited to finally try out Markham Station as my family members have previously recommended it to me. Our waitress Sarah was rude from the get go. We were told not to laugh at the table. She spilt coffee and orange juice on the table and when we asked for napkins, she rolled her eyes and never brought them to us. Sadly, we had gotten up and left as they did not deserve our patronage.

They do not know what customer service means. I ordered online, they made an error and brushed me off. I would not recommend it. The guy answering the phone is clueless and rude.

I haven t been here in over a decade and the reno looks great. We went for lunch and ordered from their all-day breakfast menu. Food is decent, as you would expect from breakfast items. My Spinach & Mozzarella Omelette was very cheesy, and I loved that. What was over and above was the service we received from Amy; she is on point! The booth seating was comfortable but the bathroom stalls are tiny, which is awkward when trying to move around.

Takeaway staff is too bad, they asked me to wait for 10mins, i called uber to inform order is taking longer then usual time. Staff was so rude, they called uber and they lied to them by saying that order pick up person is not same as showing in app. I wish god will teach you lesson one day.

The worst service they nickle and dime you by marking pay $1.50 for hot water and foot is bland. The hollandaise sauce broke and us gross. Do not eat there. The bathrooms are not cleaned and smell.

I used to go there every sunday after church for brunch and on fridays for their beef souvkakis it was much delicious i would order scambled with sausage and bacon and home fries and they would offer me free coffee refills as much as i wanted

Its too bad that no one knows how to make breakfast anymore. Runny eggs, deep fried home fries (basically french fries), weak coffee, waifer thin turkey bacon with no taste and no gluten-free bread options or substitutes. Slow service.

Today, I was at Markham station being served by an individual with terrible customer service. I was told by another staff that the server s name was Roselyn and she had a nasty attitude from the time my partner and I sat down. She is an older white lady with box braids. As I was ordering she was giving me attitude looking at me in a disturbing manner, and making me feel very uncomfortable. It seemed like she had a horrible day and was taking her frustration out on my partner and I. We were very polite, we consistently thanked her for her service, and she provided no response. She never once said you re welcome, or executed any kind gestures as a server would. While we were eating she kept pressuring us to get our bills. We were trying to eat and enjoy our time but she consistently kept asking if we wanted our bill. Typically waitresses wait until you are finished eating and then ask if we wanted our bill. I also ordered an alcoholic beverage and in a disturbing rude manner she said oh you need to finish that by a certain time . She provided no further explanation, but rather pure attitude. We received our bill, I did not tip because the service was terrible. She proceeded to approach our table and say was there anything wrong with the service? Then as she was standing in front of another table said oh you guys didn t tip, no gratuity was offered. I was appalled. I have never experienced such an occurrence in my whole life. As a waitress you never address a customer in regard to gratuity or tipping. A tip is earned for excellent customer service, not just given because an individual works at a particular place. No waitress should ever address a customer in such a manner and in that particular context. I have been to Markham station numerous times and the service has always been immaculate but after Roselyn s service, I don t know if I want to go back there. Something needs to be done about her attitude and poor customer service immediately!!! I think you should take that time to inform all your waitresses that tips are earned not just received automatically. A tip is not guaranteed. Roselyn s comment about a tip showcases the disgusting behaviour that should never be permitted in a customer service industry. Her behaviour is beyond atrocious!!!

Our group of seven lunched here Sun in June. Our orders: chicken wrap (18 cad), super bkfst/home fries (22), station clubs/fries(18), Cal eggs benedict (19). Fair fries but good home fries. We skipped overpriced souvlaki plates.

I was at the restaurant last Sunday morning and I had the worst service. The black waitress was horrible.

Consistently good and one can see why it has become an institution. However, handy note if you are prone to drafts, and the cold. Do not sit near the windows because the ventilation blasts itself from afar onto that space. And on a few occasions, despite how resilient we are, we just had to move. Not to mention how it makes the food go cooler much faster. Highly recommended though. Good variety in good atmosphere

Please don t waste your time coming to this establishment. We had sat down at a table and noticed that there were bugs inside the restaurant on the window. We had voiced these concerns to our server Rose, who not only dismissed our concerns, told us to pick up our food and move to another table ourselves despite her colleague telling her not to place the food at the current table. As we were doing this, we heard her speaking ill about my group to her colleagues. Rose, please reconsider your behavior towards customers. It s important to treat others with respect, even when you re having a tough day.

Amazing food and service as always

I love this place. I wasn t the biggest fan of the medium hot wings, wasn t much flavour but they were cooked well. Wait staff takes a while to come back, and doesn t check up as often but the seating process isn t too bad. This place has everything! I will say I liked the burgers better than the wings. Nachos were just ok, I didn t love them particularly . The fries are to die for and love the condiments. My favourite part about my last meal was the chocolate milkshake and how aesthetically pleasing it looked. The fact that it is 24/7 is amazing. I will still give an overall 5 star rating for the milkshake and fries.

I always go to this breakfast joint right after work! Lovely atmosphere, very warm and inviting. I order the super every time! Dont forget to request for the seasoned salt shaker for your meal!

Turn on the Air Conditioning!!!! & set it at a lower temperature. So warm inside the restaurant. Dont order the fruit with any of your meal. Soft, slimy, sour, doesnt look fresh. They charge extra for it but the quality is terrible & it should be thrown out before people get sick off of it. Friday Sept 9 1120am visit. Spanish omelet is nothing more then canned low quality mushrooms and watery salsa as well inside of it. Seat 6 Section 2 Booth behind HOST Stand and Front Door for reference.

Always a great experience when you come here. The staff is always very friendly, the food is awesome, especially the all day breakfast. This place is a staple if you come to Scarborough so it is a must try. I have been coming here when I was young with my parents, then in my 20s after partying at clubs in the middle of the night because its 24 hours and now I go with my kids in my 30s. I hope this place will be here forever so that others can experience the joy this establishment has given me over the course of my life. Kid-friendliness: They are great with kids and have some table activities to keep them busy.

This place is like the Toyota Camry of restaurants: nothing special, not particularly interesting, but it gets the job done.

Going to Markham Station was not the first time I had ever had brunch. Pancakes with Maple syrup, Sausages, scrambled eggs were absolutely delicious. The Potato fries were not soggy, but firm almost like what toasted mash potato would taste like. The scrambled eggs were all made perfectly without any extra yolk guzzling out. The Pancakes were also quite tasty. The staff were all really polite and helpful. The restaurant itself also gives off a nice ambience. They strictly followed the Covid protocols and checked vaccination proof of every customer. If you are in a rush or when you need time to chat with your friends, I recommend coming here for whole day breakfast at Markham Station Restaurant.

I literally just walked out of the restaurant because two male servers and their friends found my presence to be rather amusing. I ordered a tea and fruit bowl while I waited for my husband to join me and I took one bite of the fruit and it was disgusting. It was almost as though it was going rotten, it definitely wasnt right. The servers just stood around laughing at me quite loudly in fact, so I grabbed my things and left. I will not be returning either. So rude and so childish. They need to take some courses on customer service because theyre very much lacking.

Worst place I ve ever came to. The food was horrible. Undercooked and over priced. McDonald s would have been a better choice. And the customer service is aggravating. Never again will I come here.

Have breakfast specials around $10 but it s definitely more bang for bucks if you go for the more complete meals. The one showing in the photo is the full breakfast with a little bit of everything. Bringing total close to $20 per person. Lots of seats and standard variety of food, but walking distance from many car repair shops in the area. Definitely worth trying it out if you want to come with family and friends and want a spacious place to sit down and relax.

A 24hr diner. Went at 2am for a bite. The server was very nice and helpful . Food was very good . The French toast was light and fluffy . Nice taste. I would definitely go back . Its a little on the pricey side.

While looking for a place for breakfast near a government building in Scarborough, I found Markham Station Restaurant on Google Maps. I never expected to make such an excellent decision. It was a wonderful experience in every respect. The first muffin we had had just come out of the oven and immediately took its place at the top of the list of the best muffins I have ever eaten. The flavors impressed us so much that I didnt even think of taking a photo. The delicious food was made even better by our wonderful waitress, Natasha, whose kindness added to the overall experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was outstanding. Natashas attentiveness and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. The entire breakfast experience was fantastic, and I hope it will be the same for you. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a delightful breakfast spot in Scarborough.

Well nothing like taking express elevator to the bottom 40 min wait for food (apologies free fries ok) tomatoes cut way early soft mushy, onions cut god knows when had that old stale smell chicken on souvlaki is top notch? Had breakfast here after attending an event close by. I had an omelet. The place was busy even at 300 am; first visit as I heard they are open 24 hours 7 days a week. Service and food good.

I ordered the 10 piece honey garlic wings and Station Philly sandwich. Wings were a great starter. As for the Station Philly Sandwich I would not recommend it. It was more like a roast beef sandwich with cheese, onions and peppers. Beef was dry and flavourless. I did not enjoy it. However our server was amazing, very friendly and attentive with out table. Love the place and staff, just not the Station Philly sandwich.

Nothing can beat a spot that offers great food and stays open for the entire day and night. Their steak sandwich hit different and was amazing! As for the pricing, its unexpectedly more than other places but their serving size is HUGE.

Food is decent, nothing remarkable considering the price point. We were well looked after by the server, but our bill contained an extra $70 of items we never ordered. I caught this and it was promptly corrected, but the incorrect bill should never have reached our table in the first place.

Great no frills family restaurant that Id been meaning to try for a long while. Tables were clean, servers were friendly and attentive, the food was tasty, reasonably priced and the portions were generous. Restaurant wasnt busy and we stayed for over 1 -1/2 hours (catching up with old friends), without any issues. Definitely recommend.
