My favourite filipino restaurant 10/10.

Got the Boodle Fight for 4 people, a fun dining experience with a variety of seafood and meats. With complimentary soups and one style of drink, I never felt the need to flag someone down for a parched throat - the soups having a veg option as well. The feast itself: loads of veg, tomatoes, okra, cucumbers, beans, bok choy and more meat than we could finish in the form of pork belly, skewers, and crispy lumpia. Perfectly cooked shrimp, wonderfully fried fish, and some plantain rolls to top it off w/ a bite of sweetness, alongside some orange slices. A well balanced, generous, and delightful meal. A surprise birthday for a friend, the owner Ariel figured this out and dropped off a silvana for dessert, while singing happy birthday and bringing us karaoke mics to finish the night, he really made our evening, 10/10 service. The most fun we ve had at a restaurant in recent memory, only possible through a thoughtful host. The silvana is one of the best bites of food I ve had in months - a buttercream cookie, almost ice cream sandwhich like, not too sweet. I cannot recommend this place enough, reserve ahead of time, as seats are limited. We will be back soon!

They graciously accommodated us by allowing an exclusive celebration for the entire evening, even before their official public opening. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for our group. The food? Absolutely delicious and reasonably priced, which was a big hit with everyone. From start to finish, the team at Lakay Kusina made us feel right at home with their attentive and friendly service. We left with full stomachs, happy hearts, and memories to last a lifetime. I ordered 3 items through uber eats...pancit guisado was so good especially the pork on top...the portion is alot..lumpia was still crispy even after 40 minutes ( I live in AJAX) and to complete the meal..I had Halo Halo ..soo excited to find banana in my Halo Halo.. overall experience is amazing..will definitely order again

Recently had breakfast here and it was great! The portions were good, the food itself tasted great. Its a cute little restaurant. I loved that they had broth and calamansi juice for you on the side if you are dining in, that was a nice touch. I live in the durham region but would definitely drive out here for good filipino food.

After visiting this place multiple times, I decided to try their Halohalo. While the presentation was appetizing, the excessive amount of poorly crushed ice was disappointing. Despite this, the food and service were of high quality. Although no bottled or service water was available, I still give it 4 stars.

This was one of the most festive and satisfying dining experiences Ive had in a while, beating out many fancier establishments while offering very reasonable prices. This was my first time trying a boodle fight, which my group was having to celebrate a birthday. Chef Ariel and his staff are incredibly friendly, salt-of-the-earth folk. Ariel took the time to explain every aspect of the feast, sharing the story of his own family and showing curiosity about his guests own lives. We brought in a birthday cake from outside and the staff kindly offered us plates, cutlery, a knife, and candles. They insisted we try out their karaoke machine for the full experience and encouraged us to sing to our hearts content, which really made the night feel like a special occasion. And the food? Everything was on point. The pork belly in particular was to die for. The presentation is thoughtful and artistic; watching the team lay the food out on the banana leaves is mesmerizing and certainly works up the appetite. Self-serve soups and calamansi-ade were complementary with our meal and tasted just like grandmas. Not to mention the delicious scoop of ice cream provided as a birthday treat. You can also try the ice cream on other days of the year if your group finishes every bite of food - easier said than done as the portions are plentiful! I am not Filipina myself but my family does come from Southeast Asia and the thoughtful decor really made this restaurant feel like a home away from home. Id actually been missing SE Asia and my family there a lot after recently returning from a visit. The flavours, hospitality, and aesthetic at Lakay Kusina made my heart feel as full as my belly.

Got the Kamayan, both the presentation and food was amazing. Not only were we treated to this feast but the owner opened up the karaoke just for us. Vibes were immaculate. This is my new spot for Filipino food

Ordered the new burgersteak on their menu and I can say that it s worth the price. Just a bit disappointed that I found these in the gravy, a clumps of flour/cornstarch and what seems to be a piece of butter wrap/packaging (hopefully).

I loved the environment, we brought 20+ guests for Boodle fight, it was very cozy and it felt like home. The food was amazing they were able to accommodate by replacing BBQ pork with BBQ chicken so that was lovely. Karaoke was fun had 2 mics. Food was delicious! lots of food so expect to bring extra food home! Staff was kind a friendly, would highly recommend this restaurant!

We hired their lakay cart to serve Filipino street food at our wedding this summer and they were AMAZING!! They were very accomodating about our request for halal meat. Food was a 5/5 - our guests are still raving about the chicken BBQ, lumpia and fishballs!! Service and atmosphere 5/5 - the cart set up was so cute and Kuya Ariel was such a gem to deal with!

I went here with my wife today to have a dinner and had an excellent experience. Not only that the food is great but the service too. The owner himself is so generous and accomodating towards His guest and remembers customers who had visited for a while. Would recommend you guys to experience their service and food, you would have a great time as you dine with them.

I drove all the way from Mississauga to order food from Lakay Kusina. The service, food and atmosphere was amazing! 10/10 recommend!!! Hopefully in the future they branch out into the Mississauga area.

We had a really nice dinner at Lakay last night, with 6 of us ordering the Boodle Fight menu. The restaurant was very accommodating in preparing 2 separate pescatarian meals for our party, and the food itself was delicious and lovingly prepared. Make sure to try the complimentary sweet & sour soup & calamansi juice! Would recommend the Boodle Fight for a fun group experience- just make sure to call ahead as there is limited seating.

Food was so tasty. This was our first time trying kamayan style and the owner and servers were so patient with explaining each item on the spread. There was even impromptu karaoke and ice cream at the end. Definitely will come back to try different items!

Swung by this place at lunch time as I was craving some sinigang and wow the food was delicious! I really loved the homey atmosphere it gave and satisfied my cravings as well. Really friendly staff and owner as well! Will be back again!

I did my birthday here and I will say it was the worst experience I ve ever had. I called in the afternoon to confirm my reservation just for them to say I never had one. They were able to fit us in which I was grateful for, however we did call to say we d arrive at 6:10. They said they d prepare the table WITH the food at 6pm. We got there just for the food to not be prepared and for it to be cold. I understand places can be busy and I will always advocate for small business, but the end of the service is what sent me beyond. The bill came up to $351 and I had to pay debit which they of course would tax (which is fine). And then tried to charge me $471 LOL. I asked why the bill was that high, and they said it was tax. I showed them the math and it would only come to $396 - which they then said the machine plugged it in so it shouldn t be wrong. They pulled out their calculators just for me to be right. Stressful and the worst experience ever. I wouldn t recommend this place for a birthday with more than 5 people because you ll be disappointed. You re better off going to Kapit Bahay or Tinuno.

Came here with my partner and got two individual kamayan meals. Best kamayan I have had in Toronto. Great value for the amount of food you get on your tray as well as amazing taste. I would even say this place beats out Tinuno. LAKAY offers infused water, coconut water, and calamansi juice as well with your meal if you dine-in. Although the place is small, the coziness is reminiscent of a small local eatery in the Philippines. This place is a hidden gem that I would recommend to all of my friends, Filipino or not! Parking: Tight parking lot with few spaces shared among many businesses.

Always a good time at Lakay, affordable good eats, family friendly, hands on eating. Weve been here several times, and its been a good experience every time. Theres always something new, from the decor to food offerings. They do offer some gloves and utensils.

Goid food and looks authentic, so many varieties.. definitely going back there. The only complain I have is the soup quantity for price is bit too much like it feels like I paid double for the container size and the halo halo was too sweet for my taste..just felt like lots of sugar syrup.

We have been to Lakay Kusina 3 times already and will definitely be back again. My brother who has a sever shellfish and nut allergy is never worried when we go for Kamayan because Ariel makes sure his items are safe and there is no cross contamination. The staff are so friendly and the ambiance makes you feel like you re in the Philippines with your favourite people. The food is also so delicious and that s why we always go there for special occasions.

Found this little gem in Scarborough when I had a craving for Filipino food. The food was delicious and the price was reasonable for its generous portions. I ordered the Boodle Fight Meal (one pax) and a combo meal with two ulam (pork sisig and tomato chicken). The dishes (especially the Boodle) were well-presented and appetizing. The gracious host also went above and beyond to offer a line of sauces and meticulously explained how they should be used to enhance and compliment the food. On top of that, he also explained to us whats in the Boodle and how it should be best consumed. He was friendly, patient with some of our questions and would check in on us every now and then to make sure we are doing fine. He also offered some complimentary soup towards the end of the meal. We had to take out some leftovers and he offered some tips on how we could prepare them at home. All in all, Im very pleased with the meal and the service and would recommend this location to anyone who wants a good meal and Im looking forward to returning soon.

Best Filipino food ever!! Extremely authentic! We were a group of 6 and there was more than enough food! We had lots of left overs! We didn t want so much pork so we swapped out the grilled pork belly for chicken inasal! It was an amazing experience! The fried fish with paired with the veggies and sauces were so good!!!! Me and my friends did a giant boodle fight for a birthday celebration and it was great the food was amazing and the atmosphere was great they even helped with decorating the area, the restaurant is abit small and I felt bad for other customers coming in to eat because we basically took up the whole dine in area. the service was great with there being complementary lemon/cucumber/orange water or sinigang (sour soup) definitely worth coming back but would probably bring a smaller group. Parking: It s a small plaza so parking was abit hard

Found this place on tiktok and decided to get in touch with Ariel for reservation. This restaurant gives such a homey vibe with good service. Did the boodle flight for 2 and it was worth it. The price was very reasonable compare to other places. The portion was very good for 2 people. The presentation of the restaurant alone and the food was spot on. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try Filipino food, budget friendly. Will come back soon. Thank you kuya Ariel.

This is an authentic Filipino restaurant and they don t hold back or water down the authenticity. I had the Boodle Fight set with my mom and we both enjoyed it, the servings are full so we had to take the other items for take-out. We had a chat with Auntie Christina, and we even spoke the same native language of Ilocano. She was very warm and accommodating, and our server was very quick and efficient. We requested ginger and patis and we were accommodated well. Also had the halo-halo for dessert. I would come back again! We went here on a weekday at around 11:40 so it wasn t too busy, otherwise I would call for a reservation.

The food here is absolutely delicious and captures that comforting taste of home-cooked Filipino dishes perfectly. We tried the pork adobo and dinuguan, they were both so flavourful and satisfying. The service here is outstanding. Every member of the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great dining experience, which really added to the warmth of the place. My only complaint is that the restaurant tends to get really busy. We tried to dine here on three separate occasions, only managing to secure a table during a weekday visit before the dinner rush. Its a testament to their popularity, but be prepared for a wait if you arrive during peak times.

I called to order for pick up and inquired about vegan options. The owner said they were launching a vegan menu that coming week, it hadnt launched yet, but offered to the describe the menu and get the necessary ingredients! What a kind and thoughtful thing to do. He went above and beyond. And the vegan dish, Caldereta, was delicious, as were the other dishes I ordered. Amazing flavours and good portions. I highly recommend Lakay Kusina! Dietary restrictions: The ingredients used for the vegan dish, like imitation beef, were delicious and flavourful.

My first time trying a Filipino breakfast and I really enjoyed it. The beef was cooked well and the dish overall reminded of the kind of rice combo you d get at Thai and Vietnamese places. Their sweet spring rolls with jackfruit was delicious. Crispy and sticky, a great way to end a meal. Will definitely come back to dine in person sometime.

Lakay is truly a gem! Tito Ariel is so meticulous and thoughtful about the entire culinary experience and kamayan, which begins with a complimentary refreshment/broth station and ends with karaoke (if you want)! I felt like I was transported back to some of my favourite memories in the Philippines eating and drinking with family. The space has amazing energy and a story, and carefully collected artifacts and handmade souvenirs from Tito Ariel s storied travels through Ilocos. You can see by the people who stop by near the end of the night that Lakay is also a fixture in the community. Filipino food is seeing a well deserved surge in Toronto but this spot in Scarborough has real heart.

Not many places in Scarborough for Filipino cuisine and have kamayan (noodle fight) on their menu. So if you re looking for a homey place transporting you to the Philippines during your meal. Have been here twice now for Boodle Fight, and its a wonderful experience. A hidden gem and amazing food and personalized service at a very affordable price for what it is. Owner Ariel is friendly and down to Earth, and his cooking is literally a labour of love: a tribute to his grandmother (ask him the story!) I recommend letting them know youre coming because the place is small, especially if your party is more than about 4. The first time we visited we made the mistake of arriving 20 minutes late, not realizing that the laying out of the food is a part of the process, and the food was cold (but still delicious!) If you might be late, let him know that youd rather wait until you get there and then you can enjoy the process of layout, while chatting with Ariel and his family. The food itself is amazing. Im not a big fan of okra but even the okra here is great. The garlic rice is to die for. Boodle Fight also includes vegetables, pork, fish, skewers, rice, sweets, ...its a feast! You wont regret checking this place out; he could easily move downtown and charge twice what he does!

We heard good things about this joint and decided to give it a try. As you enter, youre greeted with nostalgia and makes you feel back home. We ordered the Tosilog, Sisilog, and Palabok. We were told that all were made to order but when we got the Tosi and Sisi they were lukewarm but it was pretty good. The Palabok however was piping hot. A take away from the experience is that it was drafty inside, we also found an insect on our table as well as in the washroom. Otherwise, a good place to check out.

We came here to try their boodle fight with a bunch of friends after some fun games of badminton. It was amazing. Its a small family owned restaurant. The food were delicious and they were presented so nicely. They even offered us karaoke to sing at the restaurant. Most importantly the staff there were super friendly and helpful. Wow! This is the best food i ve had in a very long time. The presentation was gorgeous and the atmosphere and decorations reminded me so much of the Philippines. My favourites were the pork skewers and spring rolls, they were so flavourful and filling. The owners were super welcoming and friendly, I had no trouble communicating with them. The food was so authentic, I am definitely going to be coming back and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone since there were so many foods to choose from on the menu!

Finally paid our first visit to Lakay Kusina and our only regret is not doing this sooner. As soon as you walk in, you are met with a familiar and comforting feeling of Grandmas home. The aroma of your favorite dishes will instantly spark your cravings. The presentation of each dish truly shows how much care and pride is given. You are welcomed with smiles whether youre a regular customer or new to the experience. I truly recommend this place when youre in the area. Whether its for a full meal or a quick merienda. I had called 5 hours ahead to order 4 boodle fight meals for takeout. They took my name, phone, and order for a set pickup time. When I arrived at said pickup time, they did not have my order ready and had forgotten about it. Said they were too busy all day, but that is why I ordered ahead of time and the restaurant at the moment was completely empty. They asked us to wait 20 minutes which we agreed to since we were already there. But it ended up being close to 40 minutes and they did not offer any compensation, discount, or even an apology for the massive delay. I had come from quite far away to try this place but I am very disappointed with this service.

I recently visited for a dinner gathering w/ some fellow foodies (familiar and new faces) to experience an amazing kamayan feast (aka boodle fight). The last one I had been to was Tinuno which is downtown and it had been over 5 years ago. Lakay Kusina roughly translates to My Friends Kitchen according to Ariel, the owner. When you walk in you notice all the cool items that Ariel has brought over from the Philippines hanging from the shelves along the walls. The restaurant itself is more of a takeout joint for sure but there are two tables that can accommodate 12 ppl total. We essentially booked out the resto for our yelp tasting. Traditionally, the kamayan feast is eaten w/ hands and no plates or utensils. We were provided w/ gloves so not to worry if youre afraid of getting your hands dirty! The feast came w/ basically a lil bit of everything on the menu to try. Typically the star of the show is the fried tilapia but for me, my top 3 in order were: 1) roasted herb chicken 2) bbq pork skewers 3) crispy pork belly Everything tasted awesome but the sleeper hit for me was definitely the chicken. It was so tender, fall-off-the-bone and so juicy. The garlic rice was also hella addictive. Last but not least, I HAVE to mention the shrimp paste sauce. Ariel provided at least 6-7 different homemade sauces for us to try and recommended that we try mixing and matching them to create different flavour profiles. The most versatile one (and the one I found myself using the most of) was the shrimp paste. It was so fragrant and just packed with umami. Literally wouldnt mind if he bottled it and sold it. Overall, the food was tasty, the hospitality was great and it was nice to bond w/ fellow foodies! Side note: They dont have public washrooms but the staff allowed us to use their washroom in the back (through the kitchen).

Ive been to Lakay Kusina several times now, enjoying their authentic Filipino Cuisine each time, and getting to know the owner, Ariel, a great guy. The decor of this cozy spot keeps evolving, with tons of memorabilia from the Philippines. Its a warm and cozy spot. On this visit, a group of fellow food enthusiasts came to try the Kamayan Feast (aka Boodle Fight), most of them for the first time. This style of meal originated from the Philippine Military, where soldiers would eat a great meal to reflect their brotherhood. Traditionally, its eaten by hand. We observed that tradition and it was fun! Our meal had lots of components, including BBQ pork skewers, grilled pork belly, grilled fish, fish balls, shrimps, lumpia, turon, grilled eggplant, steamed okra, bakchoy, green beans, garlic rice, and we also had grilled chicken. It was a lot of delicious food and a very enjoyable experience! In addition to this feast, Lakay Kusina also has several other traditional dishes and foods available. We got to try a couple of them. Cassava Suman is a Filipino dessert type of treat, made with grated cassava, sugar, and coconut. It is wrapped and cooked in a banana leaf. Balut is another traditional item that only the most adventurous diner would try. It is a fertilized ducks egg with a developing embryo, cooked and eaten from the shell. Only one of us was brave enough to try it. Ironically, shes Filipina and it was her first time. Nuff respect!!! Overall, it was a really good evening of delicious food and camaraderie. If youre unfamiliar, think Filipino combo meal. Wow, what a combo! Choices include any five of the following: Tapa, Longanisa, Tocino, Tuyo, Bangus, Corned Beef, Tortang Talon, and/or Red Delicious Filipino Hotdogs, all on a bed of Garlic Rice, with your choice of Eggs. Everything was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The portions were very generous! I could barely finish the meal. Beyond the great tasting food, the service was outstanding. Our host, Ariel made us feel like we were dining in his home. The ambiance definitely had a warmth and rustic charm to it. Lakay Kusina actually translates to My friends kitchen. From the first visit 2years ago to now their food quality is always top notched. Alway delicious and Hugh portion. Only that rivals the making taste of their food is the service. Eating at their restaurant (although small) feels very cozy. Like they invited you in their home for dinner. The entire family is so warm and kinds...and always serving with a big smile. Food was quite dry

First time experiencing real Filipino dining. I love caldereta and lumpia Shanghai so I ordered that, and my partner got their bbq pork skewers. The staff - especially the guy at the front - were so friendly and gave great customer service. The food is a bit different from what Im used to as I get those dishes from other places. The rice was a bit dry for me and cold. Lumpia is def made in house as it tastes different (kind of more doughy) but still good. The skewers were more on the vinegary side but were softer and easier to eat than most, which is good. I love the decor and finishing touches they put inside. This place is probably the most fanciest Filipino restaurant I know as they put a lot of effort into food presentation, which I love. Will definitely come back to try other things!

The owner was so friendly and warm upon our arrival. Intimate and authentic decor and atmosphere. THE KAMAYAN FEAST WAS DELICIOUS! Every item was super flavorful and we left stuffed + with extras to go. The best part was watching the staff lay out our table and dinner in such an artistic way. You can tell they really care about giving the customers a good experience and wanting to leave them satisfied . Definitely would come again. Great pricing and value and they can also do customized orders as well (dine-in or to-go)

Was very excited to have their Kamayan Feast however after being told to wait for the next available seat and after ordering and preparing our order we were told to move to a table with other groups because there were reservation for 9 people . Felt like we were embarrassed since we are only 3 and suddenly asked to join other groups. I guess the place is not meant for small groups that wants to have boodle fight. Very disappointed

Went to the place because my Wife was very excited for the Boodle Fight. Came In and was asked to wait for a table then was sat to the table ordered our food then was told to move and join the big group on the next table because a reservation of 9 is coming. Felt very embarrased just decided to leave. I also work in food and beverage and never treated anyone with such disrespect.

Everything about Lakay is 5 star!! Food is delicious and fairly priced. Lots of variety, something for everyone. The service is above and beyond, all the staff are helpful and welcoming. The atmosphere is perfect! A real tribute to the Philippines. A must try!

This place was so welcoming and homey, it feels like youre just visiting your relatives and enjoying some good food. We did the boodle and everything was exceptionally delicious. They catered to our needs, customized it as to our likings. We came from L.A and it was our first boodle fight; We had such a great family experience! This wont be our first or last- thats for sure! One more thing, the 4 stars for the atmosphere was because I wish it was just bigger, because 1 you guys deserve it and because its a vibe in there. Definitely a 5 though for the vibe!

First time trying the Kamayan feast and couldnt have asked for a better experience! Every ingredient was prepared with love, everything tasted great. My favourite was the super fragrant garlic rice, close second is the pork belly with the crispy skin. We ordered fruity drinks and they were all super refreshing and went well with the savoury foods. The hosts were also very friendly and we felt at home there. Id recommend 10/10!

I absolutely enjoyed my experience here. From the moment I walked in, the owner came to greet me with the largest smile and an even larger heart for hospitality. Its a restaurant, but it felt like a hotel with the works! We ordered the Boodle Fight Box, and the whole spread made my night (just look at the photo!). The taste was as good as it looked. I wasnt able to try the eggplants (as I am deathly allergic), but I can only imagine it tasted as amazing as the rest. The meat was marinated to perfection, and the fish was deboned so my spoiled self could enjoy it without picking at it . I really liked their garlic rice. It gave a lot of flavour to everything. THE PORTION IS HUGE SO PACE YOURSELF. Bring it home for a second meal if needed. I also got the soursop drink, and I got to try the guava too! Its definitely worth it!! The owner took time to explain the meal and even gave us a little history lesson on the country of origin! Overall, the experience was memorable, so I know I will return with friends and family. Do yourself a favour and book your reservation TODAY!!! Parking: Its in a plaza so you can park anywhere in front of the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: There were kids of all ages when I was there.

Appears to be a family run restaurant. Very nicely designed inside with limited dine-in space. Great food presentation but my food was a little salty; however, very reasonably priced. It was a unique experience trying traditional Filipino food.

Very disappointing. Got the Boodle Fight Box to go. Spent $80+. When we opened, many items missing. No shrimp, no pork bbq, no egg plant. Gave us green beans, bok Choy and cucumbers instead I guess. There was lots of those. When the meal was over even my mom said she didnt like it. She rarely says shows dissatisfaction. I do not recommend.

Hats off to this place. I was in awe at how they managed to create a delicious masterpiece in such a short time! I called for a special order of party size vegetarian bihon and they said they can do it in less than an hour! Ordered the boodle fight for 4 people. This was my first trying it and what was offered here was just ok. The presentation is nice but, the food itself isnt the best. The majority of the veggies are boiled with no flavor, the pork belly was a bit hard and the fish didnt taste very fresh. The service was good they did give us an explanation of the food. I ordered from this location numerous times through Uber Eats, when I was based in Toronto. I try to order plentiful, as this place is far from my location. They were previously called Kuya Willies Kainan, and they never failed to impress me with their consistency, despite the name change. Last time I was in Toronto, their recipe was still the same since I first ordered from them. Kare kare has a rich peanut sauce with all of what is expected to be in the dish (tender beef, oxtail, beef stripe, string beans and other vegetables). Best grilled pork belly around GTA. Has the original Filipino smoky flavour - - not sweet and tangy. Please do not ever change this recipe. I tried out their pork sisig. First things first --I like that it doesnt have mayonnaise, because it doesnt really have to be there. Meat is perfectly cooked and tasty. They dont skimp on servings, and everything that I ordered are so good. Good value, if not for the delivery and other charges especially as I am far from this place. I ordered on doordash and spend 80cad. I ordered 6pcs tuyo and they only gave me 2pcs also they look old and dry i had to throw . I ordered pinakbet and they gave me ginataang langka which I don t eat. I ordered pork bbq and it is so dry and hard as rock had to throw after one bite inedible. The beef pinapaitan is not good. Hope i can say good things but kinda disappointed because i spend 80cad and the food are not great.

The best resto in the city!

Wished it tasted as good as it looks. The only good thing about this plate is the garlic fried rice and egg. The beef feels and taste like it was repurposed to be Beef Tapa or maybe they cook a big batch to reheat, def not beef tapa you would expect. Ordered from the place through Uber Eats before too, and I thought maybe they do better in person. Maybe this is just not for me. The place is also very small and cramped, nothing like the photos. They have cool looking trinkets.

Such a lovely time and the staff (I assumed comprised of family as I spotted lola taking peaks as we ate haha) was amazing! We were celebrating 2 birthdays and received complimentary dessert for the celebrants which the rest of our party had a small taste of. Large group of 9 so we had reserved a Kamayan feast and it didnt disappoint. They made sure we had enough sauces, napkins, drinks etc and our server was more than happy to take photos of our group when we asked, even mentioning karaoke if we were interested as they have it set up on the TV in the top corner. I think this restaurant mostly gets take out customers but it can probably seat 15-20 people max. The best Filipino restaurant I have ever tried in Canada! The ambience was cool although it was a bit small but the portion of the food, the presentation and its taste were AMAZING! The price was also very affordable. I highly recommend this as a go-to place for eating Filipino food! I hope to be back when I come to visit Canada again soon.

The best bbq I ve ever had the meat is soo tender the guy who serve us is very friendly, and he really knows what to customer wants when it comes to food I totally recommend everyone to eat here in person than ordering through delivery or even take out coz dine it we get very excellent service and good food so those who complain through delivery I totally recommend you to dine in the best service and the best food

The best boodle fight in the city! The place was clean & the service was amazing. Ariel, the owner was very welcoming & explained all the food in great detail along with the history of it all! It was so good we went back the next day for take out. Make sure to call ahead as seating is limited.

The food was spoiled (dinakdakan) The crispy pata looked and tasted like days old, pork bbq is coated with banana ketchup (too sweet) not a typical pork bbq. The kakanin is mouldy. Our first and will not come back Food
