One of my go to places for Chinese food. Been there multiple times . We ordered masala chicken lolipop , steam chicken momos, mon chow chicken soup. Chicken lolipop was very yummy. Stand out dish for the day. Steam chicken momo had 12 pieces which is simply by far the best portion in GTA. They were yummy too. Lastly, we ordered chicken mon chow soup too which was good . We tried it for the first time and we were happy with the results. 4.5 it is .
Quiet little spot for hakka food. Ordered the chilli chicken (gravy) and the Manchurian chicken fried rice. Chilli chicken was great - would be interested in the dry version of it next time. The fried rice was okay - wasn't too overpowering, but the vegetables were underwhelming (especially the inclusion of the peas).
Great service! Awesome location with ample space for the whole family. Never tried masala fries like this one! I definitely recommend it. All the food we ordered was delish!
For the price you're paying, the food here is pretty average. The restaurant itself may not seem very inviting, but it actually smells really good inside, and the food you order arrives quick. If you're looking for cheap, quick eats, this is a great Hakka fusion restaurant. I personally would not go again, but I'd recommend you to try it at least once and see if you like it.
The food is honestly nothing special and pretty average. It’s average at best so really didn’t get the hype behind it. The chilli chicken that we ordered was not up to the mark and the noodles were pretty bland. Only thing which was a bit okay were the Jhol momos, that too, I have had much better. I don’t think its worth the money. To add to that, the chilli chicken and noodles both had strands of hair in it which was so disappointing.
We were regular customers of Hakka khazana, but they have degraded their quality. Its disgusting. We had bombay chicken dry and the chicken thukpa and the chicken was extremely stale. It tasted like its extremely old, it was chewy, smelly and tasted weird. The thukpa had the same chicken. Stale. We ordered hot garlic noodles and it had a very weird taste. And it was full of color and too oily. The only thing which was edible was the Manchurian, which were pre-made as well. Overall, very bad experience. We used to go here regularly but they have lost a customer. Not visiting this place again. Wont recommend to anyone.
We had a wonderful meal at Hakka Khazana. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was friendly. The Chicken Chilli we ordered was flavorful and well-seasoned, and the Tandoori Chicken Momo had a great smoky taste. We also ordered Szechuan Chicken Noodles which was spicy and satisfying. The Fish Chilli Dry was crispy and delicious. The Plain Naan was soft, and the Chicken Karahi was hearty and tasty. We topped it all off with a refreshing Mango Lassi. Definitely a great spot for delicious Hakka food.
I have been to this restaurant several times and this place never disappoints me with the taste service and ambience. The food is too good and taste is amazing better than other Chinese restaurants i have been to. However there was an instance were we ordered the hot garlic fried rice, but to my surprise the rice didnt have the garlic flavour nor garlic in it. But the waitress was kind enough to check back with the chef and offered us the dish for free. I had the below dishes:- Chicken tandoori momos Chicken szechuan fried rice Chicken lollipop in szechuan Chicken tandoori fried rice
Been regular to this place for couple of years. Best Steamed chicken momos in Toronto. Always amazing service by Suzon and Anurag.
Great food as well as the service as always. Specially Sujan, thank you. Highly recommended.
After so long I had good Indian Chinese food. Amazing taste , generous portions and amazing service. I will return soon
worst food I ever taste....
This is a mediocre restaurant. Sometimes thats all you need. That was fine when chili chicken was $9.99 but when you spend $16.99 for battered cartilage, 15.99 for manchurian fried rice made with yesterdays left over chicken (all hakka lovers have experienced it) and $15.99 for shrimp noodles made with the absolute lowest grade shrimp (and overcooked to hell) ... you start to regret your choice. These reviews are so suspicious..either you really dont have any food experience in Scarborough or youre incentivized to rate 5 stars.
Sorry to say Food was tasty.. It was total waste of money n time. It was a disappointment .. May be it was just today , they had diff chef
Great food, great price. Hakka chinese is tasty
I had to wait 1 hour for my food. I had to keep on reminding them & every time they would say 2 more minutes. When i finally got my order & took it to my office. Found out that there was no utensils in the bag. No napkins, spoon or forks. Total chaos & Horrible service. Safe to say that i ll never be coming back to this restaurant ever again.
Food was great. We ordered hot & sour soup, tandoori chicken momos, Manchurian eggplant & chicken, and shrimp/chicken/egg fried rice. Service definitely needs improvement. I kept making eye contact with the server, who then walked by without acknowledging me multiple times. They also never checked in on us and didnt remove the cleared dishes from our table until we asked them to. I had ordered additional food for takeout, which ended up taking a long time to get to me because it wasnt communicated that it was for my table. I saw one of the servers carrying my takeout to the front of the restaurant 10 minutes before receiving it using 1/2 plastic bag handles and swinging it back and forth like a child heading to the park. Lastly, the seating logic could have been executed better. There were enough empty tables to comfortably place guests in a spaced-out manner but for some reason most guests were being seated at the tables next to one another. This place has potential, but definitely requires more attention to detail and perhaps some better serving training in order to get out of its own way to success.
Service is good but the food is disappointing.
The best chicken steamed chilli Momo ever in Toronto. I was craving for the Nepali taste in Momo, and Hakka didnt disappoint
Good food! Perfect desi style Chinese, met my expectations
Food was not good. Ordered rice, noodles and chicken dish. Found food bland and not fresh
Salty food when I complaint they said it comes like that
Great food, big portions, and good value for money. Only wish there were more drink options! Parking: Easily accessible by public transit
Used to be our go to ordering place. Today placed a DoorDash order with them for chicken fried rice and pakora style veg Manchurian. Both were positively stale and were just reheated. The chicken had a funny smell too and the rice was bad and salty. For the Manchurian balls, they were rubbery and stale. We had to discard them all. DoorDash being DoorDash won t refund for their crappy food. Will never be ordering from them again. Quality of dine in and delivery is absolutely different l. Shame on them for serving slate foods
Tasty and authentic food!
Great food and service.
Delicious food!!!
Very poor service! We ordered 1 appetizers and 2 main course but it never arrived. We got the main course first but no appetizers for 45 minutes even after reminding about it. Not only that, they served the wrong dish for the main course. Very frustrating experience.
The reviews seemed good so we tried this. The food was flavourless, we ordered chilli chicken and chicken hot and sour soup, both were a disappointment, would not be coming back, don t trust the reviews
Vegetarian options: Wide range of vegetarian options are available.Veg momos are tasty and service is staff is very satisfactory. Food
Delicious food
Awesome hakka cuisine especially their jhol momo. Must visit..
Never coming back for this low level food
Service was slow but food was good. Nice interior
I have tried Hakka Khazana in London and it was amazing, but the Scarborough branch is not worth it. I tried the Dragon Chicken Dry.The chicken seemed very old and hard, too chewy. I had to throw it out. The fried rice was blant, the chicken in the fried rice was also overcooked and chewy. Definitely do not recommend this restaurant. Very disappointed with this franchise. Not worth the price at all.
Good food and good customer service by Anurag
Food was good and service was amazing would visit once again:)
Everything is good here Except, when I asked that, do you serve halal meat? She confirmed yes. However, they have not written anywhere in the restaurant, or on the menu, or any other way to communicate with customers. They also serve alcohol on the table. Thats makes me strongly doubtful that they are serving halal meat.
Food was delicious I had chilli chicken and fried rice they were amazing
An exceptional venue for family parties! The food was outstanding every dish was delicious, and not a single complaint from anyone. The service was top-notch, making the entire event smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended for any family gathering!
If you re on the hunt for a restaurant with delicious food and exceptional customer service, I highly recommend Hakka Khajana! The food is absolutely fantastic, with a great variety of flavors that will leave you craving more. The staff are friendly and attentive, making every dining experience a pleasure. I absolutely love the taste of their dishes and can t wait to go back. If you haven t tried Hakka Khajana yet, you re in for a treat!
This is my go to place for hakka chineese food. This place serves the yummiest chineese food in Scarborough. Hot and sour chicken soup is a different feeling. The chicken fried rice and chilli chicken dry combo is amazing as well.
Did a pickup order and they delivered the item within the promised time. Jhol momo is decent. Please add at least two napkins, plastic forks and spoons.
Price > Food Quantity
I really like the food and the service. Affordable and the quality of food is really good even quantity is also not bad.
Best place to have delicious food with your family, friends and your loved one. I really like the taste of foods in here it never disappoints me.
One of the best restaurant for their Chinese and Nepali food. Must try their steam Momos with Jhol.
Weve been going to this place since we moved to Scarborough and order in most of the time. The flavors and spice level for Indo-Chinese are top-notch. They have a wide range of delicious vegetarian options too. The entire staff is very welcoming, accommodating, and friendly Vegetarian options: Wide range
The food is so yummy, I had mixed fried rice and fried noodles. It was so good. I highly recommend Hakka Khazana
We had Party in park Due to rain we had to find Indoor place At last moment..we just called here and they Arranged Hall for 20 people and food and seating arrangement everything just withing 30-40 min.Suzan was Helping us That time and he js really helpful guy.We had reallyy Fun time and Food is as alwayss Supeerrr ...Highlly suugest If u wanna try propoer hakkaa taste..Again Thank you so much suzan will see you more and more
Best butter chicken and fresh crispy naan that I ve tried in a long time. So good and the service and workers were all amazing and friendly
We stumbled upon Mayur Fine for a late-night dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food! Although the service was a bit slow, the exceptional taste and preparation made up for it. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and left feeling satisfied.
We are regular customer for this restaurant. Chicken Momo is best. Bombay chicken is very tasty .Now they reduce the quantity and increased the price And sometimes their noodles taste different each time.
Big Portion size, Authentic taste and Lovely customer service, when u excel in all then what is left to even comment on Ill Always recommend this restaurant for Thier enticing Indo-chinese cuisine. Its just bang-on Food : 5/5
Thank you Hakka Khazana team for offering an authentic Nepalese dining experience with a warm atmosphere and friendly service. The dishes, like the delicious momo dumplings and hearty Thukpa noodle soup, are rich in flavor and beautifully prepared. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking genuine Nepalese cuisine.
Very good
The chilli chicken manchurian chicken doesnt taste good at all. But maybe their other dishes might taste good but these 2 dont. And they are very cheap with the meat. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because they let you customize you order if you want it extra spicy but thats about it
Momo is one of the reasons I miss Nepal, but now Hakka Khazana fulfills that craving.
I m almost midway and the dragon chicken is my favorite here .
Excellent food ,flavour and the service. I would come again.
5 star customer service from Sujan! Food is decent Food
Great & Delicious food!
Food was amazing here .. the service was good . Anurag gave us best service .. will recommend my friends and family here
We ordered spring rolls and they were super oily and tasted below average. The paneer chilli dry appetizer was so dry and the paneer was chewy, hard and inedible, so much so that we had to send it back. The noodles and manchurian gravy were decent.
Out of the 3 items I ordered 2 were delicious with good quantity but the 3rd one was not that good with full of artificial flavoring. Overall a good experience and the prices were also reasonable. Would visit again!
The place setting is very cozy and the food is delicious. India jaisa Chinese khana, loved it
Service is quick and food is really good. A must try in Scarborough
Amazing food, I tried their veg soup noodles and steam momos. Exactly what I was looking for on a rainy day to satisfy my taste buds. Hakka khazaana didn t disappoint me at all. Adjusted the spice level as per my requirement. Great place to have your Indo Chinese cravings get satisfied.
Ordered manchurian noodle got simple noodles amd too sweet
Really good food in affordable price. Really good service and would recommend everyone.
Awesome Nepali food with good proportions at a reasonable price. loved the momos they cooked.
I ordered chicken noodle soup Food
Food is acceptable. However people are recommended to stick with standard dishes. Food tends to be sour( vinegar usage is high)
The worst paneer chilli i have ever had. It s dry as well. Please never try their hakka paneer , it s definitely seating fried for 4-5 days. It s so horrible that made the whole experience bad. We ordered, rice and Manchurian balls and everything ruined. We ordered veg hakka noodles and got hakka noddles spring roll.
We ordered schezwan chicken noodles and sweet and sour chicken . For both the taste was average, but the food colour that was added was scary. It literally stained our lips and tongue and was tasting weird. The colour was hot red, and the flavour wasn t half as spicy as how it looked, considering the beautiful flavour of schezwan . The chicken pieces in sweet n sour chicken were also very tiny and wasn t boiled properly. I was in Nepal for 10 years, and I am a huge fan of Indian and Nepali fast food. Hakka khazana claims they are authentic Nepali restaurant, but the food really disappointed. I hope they ll consider putting more emphasis on the flavour and quantity of food rather than on the amount of food colour which makes them eye candy.
The food is phenomenal especially the momos!
Good food and decent setting. Flavours were decent. The mango lassi was okay..didnt expect the tinge of cardamom. Chicken pakora were more like fried umbattered pieces which was also unexpected when you think of what a pakora should be.
We recently visited this restaurant with a party of ten to host our guests. Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. We ordered a variety of dishes including chicken corn soup, hot and sour soup, steamed and tandoori momos, two types of chicken noodles, chili chicken gravy, and shrimp gravy. Regrettably, each dish seemed stale and overly salty, lacking in flavor. Additionally, the crockery was chipped at the edges, which was quite embarrassing in front of our guests. The only thing we enjoyed was the canned sodas, as they were not prepared in the kitchen. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this place.
The location is highly recommended; the food is great. The food is wonderful and we have a wide selection of vegetarian options. We made an order for Honey Chilli Potato, Jhol Momos, Gobi Manchurian, and Steamed Momos. The food was delicious. In addition, the quantity is good, thus it offers good value. Although there is never a longer wait, it is quite crowded.
I ordered soup and soup is just water.
Really Good food . I would this restaurant 10/10 . After so long i had good indian food . Aadhya was really nice and very helpful .
Ordered Tandoori momos. The outside of the momo felt tight and chewy. There was so much food colouring added to the momos to give it a red color. I would anyday prefer their steamed or Jhol momos. Tandoori momos is a waste of money. Service : 5/5 |
I ordered chicken jhol momo and hot garlic chowmein for the first time from here and I just loved it. Best jhol momo I ever had. Really Nepal maa ni yeti mitho jhol momo khathena maile. Thank you for giving Best food. I really appreciate. And I cant wait come there and dine in and have your food .
Awesome food.... tried thukpa and whole momos in appetizers, they were simply 10 out 10. Yummy taste. Patio was cherry on top. Will surely visit again.
I order on uber what i usually order chicken lollipop and they gave me just wings and i was really disappointed.
Regular here since last 6 months, Very good ambience and services. Love the food always. Food
The quantity was phenomenal. We were a party of 4; ordered for a Veg Manchow soup large, Dry Veggie Manchurian, Tandoori Veg Momos and a Manchurian Noodles (Note: the rice have a flavour of manchurian not manchurian balls). It was filling and soo delicious. Surely visiting back soon.
Hakka Khazana offers a delightful fusion of Indian, Nepali, and Indo-Chinese flavors in a relaxed setting. Their patio is a great spot to enjoy the warm weather while savoring their delicious dishes. The szechuan noodles here are a must-try, perfectly cooked and seasoned with a balanced blend of spices. The garlic paneer with gravy is another standout dish, with tender paneer cubes swimming in a rich and flavorful sauce. While the jhol momos were decent, they didnt quite reach the same level of excellence as the other dishes. Overall, Hakka Khazana is a great choice for those seeking a unique and flavorful dining experience. Their patio, excellent noodles, and garlic paneer make it a worthwhile visit. While the jhol momos might not be for everyone, there are plenty of other dishes on the menu that are sure to please.
Food here is amazing , highly recommend this place . We have a lot of veg options and the food is also delicious. We have ordered tandoori momos , schezuen rice and noodles . We loved the food so much that we visited this place twice in a month . It is also value for money as the quantity is good . It is averagely crowded but the wait time is never more. Vegetarian options: Lot of veg options . Parking: There is enough parking space in the parking lot .
Great place to have the authentic Nepalese food. The Jhol MOMO was best, have the similar test as in Nepal. The best Jhol MOMO in GTA area
Not worth the time. They wont serve you if youre not their nationality. We stood there for 15 minutes waiting for the staff to get off their cell phone and acknowledge us. Needless to say we walked out.
The worst food ever .
Delicious spicy hakka cuisine. Although there are Nepalese and Indian cuisine available.
I dined in with two friends and we ordered chicken thukpa, which was good, and crispy paneer, which was also good. Lastly, we got chicken momos: one steamed and two jhol. We ate the steamed one but couldnt finish the jhol momos, so we decided to take them out. While transferring the food into the take-out container they provided, I found a short hair in the food. Although the food was good, please maintain proper hygiene. I was really upset, but one of my friends suggested we shouldnt make a scene since we were taking the food out, so I didnt say anything and we left.
Been a regular customer here. Food is amazing, tastes like back home. The only improvement point is service timing.
I ve never been disappointed ordering food from Hakka Khazana. This was my go to take out place before moving to a different city. The quality, the quantity, the taste, the price, everything was sooooo good. Absolutely love it!
Very nice place, to eat and foods is really good and the staff too and really like the dining place, well set up, they have bar and serve alcohol too, I would definitely recommend them on weekends Saturday and Sunday they have live band music, its really perfect for this restaurant and will definitely draw in more people to come in coz it have a bar vibe and people can enjoy their drinks and food listing to live band music. Parking: Great
delicious food With good service
What a fantastic place to dine in with family. We dropped by last minute before it was about to call a day. Food and service were top notch. Staff were super friendly. Me & my wife are going there again for sure. Thanks! Food
Usually love their food. Little disappointed this time ordered Hakka fried rice I got Hakka noodles in my delivery order the noodles did not taste good either .
I got hot and sour soup, chicken corn soup, spring rolls and chilli chicken. EVERYTHING was terrible! Hot and sour soup didnt taste like it at all! Very very salty. Chicken corn soup tastes more like it had extra corn flour added! Third, veg spring rolls tasted fishy. The only thing that tasted good was the chilli chicken.
Worst service provided if you do mobile order , i came here few times every time the service is worst first they will say your order will be ready in 30 to 40 mints than you have to wait there for 30 to 40 mints. Waste of time. But still the food is not as bad.
Useless service
Amazing food to my craving Food
Unsatisfied service, poor in hospitality and managing staff!
Good place, Delicious Indian and other Cuisine, Veg and Non Veg Options, Well priced, Good Quantity, One soup can be shared by 5 people , Overall Excellent, Must try
Been here a few times now , the fried chicken momos are my favourite! The hakka cuisine isn t traditional but is uniquely delicious.
Not worth the value of money. No taste at all
Best place to have indoor Chinese in a budget
Vegetarian options: We ordered veg fried momos, manchurian veg noodles and hot garlic veg noodles. They were are really good. Food
Food was alright. The restaurant didn t seem very clean. We waited for at least 10-15 minutes to be seated because there was no front staff (even though we rang the bell) The worst was the service. There was one guy in his twenties who came out all giggling and having a gala time in the kitchen even though there were customers seated and out front at the counter waiting on him for the last 10-15 minutes. The entire time we were there, had to practically beg him for service including asking for water which he just dumped the pitcher and walked away. Had an unnecessary attitude and was watching the soccer match instead of serving or tending to the takeout customers lol! I think he was annoyed customers were there interrupting his soccer match. My husband still tipped him 12% which he didn t deserve, and when my husband said thanks after getting the receipt, he just walked away lol! Definitely not returning. Better food with less attitude and actual service elsewhere!
I found the food varities, tastes, quantities as well as services are amazing!!!
This place is great. Delicious food, High level customer service and workers are very friendly.
Good people... Good food. I have been coming here for the last 2 years. I always loved the food. Sujan and the team are great.Chef is very talented. Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options.
Order takeout from Uber eats. Got Gobi Manchurian and Crispy chili chicken dry, and they were both so soggy . The gobi had more flavour than the chicken and the chicken was so spicy to the point where I finished a whole water bottle. Maybe will give it another chance in person to see the difference, and try their momos next time.
Good
Dropped in for lunch. The place was nice and quiet. Service was lovely. I hot the stir fry vegetables w/chicken (main). It was savory and tender. Gravy was flavourful.
I took a take out order from this place and specifically mentioned before ordering I am allergic to spices so please do not add any kind of spices. The dish I ordered was mentioned that it s not meant to be spicy and ended up getting a spicy dish with just some sweetness added. No spicy means no chillies not putting sweetness with chillies. I was really disappointed and called them to inform about the situation and they mentioned we did add a note to the chef but that does not change the reality. Really bad experience.
Ordered some chicken chilly semi dry from this place. The dish was ok. Had higher expectations looking at the reviews. I am not a food critic but i know food well.
Very poor service for takeout I was asked that my order would be ready in 20 minutes, i arrived on time then had to wait 25 minutes more very disappointed if they were busy at least could have given a heads up.
Amazing food, tandoori and jhol momos are must try! Szechuan/hakka noodles and manchurian gravy were very appetizing and delicious. The waiters are slow when it comes to paying attention to the customers, we had to wait for a really long time to order something new even though there were barely any customers so bring your patience with you :)
Kathmandu jhol MOMOS
Hakka Khazana served up an exceptional dining experience, especially with their delicious momos. The tandoori momos, in particular, stood out with their amazing flavor, though the outer layer was a tad hard. Despite this minor flaw, the taste was exquisite, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. Combined with their flavorful chilli momos, it made for a memorable culinary adventure. For a delightful treat for your taste buds, Hakka Khazana is definitely worth a visit.
I have been a regular at hakka khazana for quite some time now . I love the food and their service. Would highly recommend this place. Monchow soup 10/10 must try Noodles 9/10 Manchurian 8/10
Really good place overall.
Discover the best of Indo-Nepali cuisine at Hakka Kazana, where every dish is a delightful blend of flavors from India and Nepal. Start with hot garlic noodles and veg Manchurian, tantalizing your taste buds with bold spices and savory delights. But the real star is the veg Tupka . And at the last we tried mango lassi which was also the best. We enjoyed a lot.
If you love the desi-chinese you ll love this place. I absolutely love the food and the staff is super courteous and sweet.
The staff is vety good and so is the food. Best part is they have good veg options and it does remind you of food that you would eat in India (Mumbai).
The food was quite bad. Just a lot of gravy which took away from the dishes themselves. For that price you can have better quality food for sure. And also its an Indian place not really Hakka Chinese.
Best Restaurant in town for Nepali Food . Their Jhol momo is best in town
I was driving by and decided to drop in to give this place a try. I ordered the Chili Chicken lunch special, which came with a main dish and a pop. The person who helped me was nice and respectful. Price was reasonable, but the food tasted average. Sadly, while I was eating in my office, I found a small piece of hair in the rice...which was kind of disgusting. I dont know if Ill ever be back.
Was craving for momos and got the perfect spot. Had chilli momos and they where amazing . Will come to try more dishes soon
The food tastes really good but was disappointed by their chicken 65. I ordered on uber eats and found the quantity was very less and it costed me 16$. Not worth it
Worst food ever...felt very unhygienic and washroom was very dirty...We will never go there
Best indian food spot in the area with great customer service.@amazing spot for foodie at GTA. Specially soya chaap is awesome
Awsome momos And best taste Food
The food was SUPER SPICY. We got so sick after eating here, I had to take meds.. They use so much food colouring which I dont know if is even legal. Will never eat here again, EVER!!! Service and ambience were good so all stars go to that.
First experience was okay, second was so bad I wont be returning to take any chances.
I ordered bhindi masala to take out but found the bhindis to be either undercooked or frozen as done if them were hard. I think you should be using fresh bhindis in your recipes. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options available.
All the Bombay people out there! If you re looking for Bombay style chicken lollipops look no further! These are simply the best! We ve ordered chicken lollipops from this place almost 6 times in the last couple of months and it s always been the best!
The food is really good. We ordered chicken lollipop, tossed on spicy sauce which was mouth-watering. The steam momo and chilli momo was also great.. will love to come back again.
Great momos and worth the price! $13.99 for fried and steamed momos. Good taste
Very good place to go with your friends and family and has very good service with tasty foods
I have been coming here for three years with my family and we have had great experience every single time. This place has officially become our place for sole food. We love their Chinese and Indian options. Tonight we had tandoori chicken and dal makhani and it was delicious. Our favourite Asian cuisine from here is the fried rice and Chicken Manchurian. My husband like their mutton roganjosh as well. Pretty much everything is amazing and very very tasty. Their service is also top notch and they care. We thank Chef Ravi and their team for treating us so well every single time.
My recent visit to Hakka Khazana was nothing short of a disaster, leaving much to be desired from what was supposed to be a special celebration. Despite having booked the main hall well in advance for a significant party, we were unceremoniously relegated to the basement upon arrival. This switch not only blindsided us but also compromised the privacy and ambiance we had anticipated for our event. The basement setting felt more like an afterthought, lacking the care and attention we expected for our gathering. The culinary experience further compounded our disappointment. In what can only be described as a glaring oversight in service, our appetizers and main courses were served simultaneously. This not only cluttered our already limited table space but also disrupted the dining flow, making it impossible to enjoy each course as intended. The charm of anticipating a well-paced meal was lost, replaced by a rushed and confusing dining experience. The lack of privacy in the basement, combined with the jarring service missteps, significantly detracted from our enjoyment of the evening. It s disheartening to witness such a lack of consideration for guests, especially when hosting a significant event that demands careful attention to detail and atmosphere. Our experience was a letdown, and it s with regret that I find myself unable to recommend their services for any special occasion.
Fresh food , good recipe , excellent service , homely atmosphere ...like it very much
We decided to have our Family Day lunch at this restaurant. Its a combination of Nepali and Hakka cuisine. We got the Chicken Lollipops, Tandoori Momos, Singapore noodles, Chicken American Chopsuey &Tiger Shrimps in black bean sauce. The Chicken Lollipops were good, but the Tandoori Momos were the best, and I strongly recommend you try it out. Overall, nice food, but maybe not the best Hakka cuisine Ive tried.
Good staff, authentic chinese, ample quantity.
Gonna give an honest review, did tried the malai soya champ and it was too dry, without any cream and masalas rating 2/10 Also tried the hakka noodles and it turned out to be a bit good rating 7/10 Food
Vegetarian options: Need more variety on veg ingredients not the item. Food
One of the best Hakka food in Scarborough and friendly staff, good service
low key chill dining. amazing food. Friendly and courteous staff. great for takeout aswell.
This place is amazing, good food , courteous service and nice clean sitting area. We visited this place twice within few months from Ottawa First was a dine in experience where we ordered beg Chilli Momos, Szechuan Vegetable Noodles, Chili Chicken Gravy, Hot Garlic Paneer Gravy and vg fried rice They were so good that on Christmas Holidays when we visited Toronto we were told not to come back to Ottawa without bringing take out from Hakka Khazana which we did Happy Family after all. Keep up the good work tEam Hakka Khazana
The food here will take you back home! I have tried so many restaurants, food joints, cafés etc. none of them came close to Indian food. If you are craving desi Chinese, this restaurant is amazing!
