Chicken Kitchen in Scarborough

Came in and bought 12 piece chicken during the day, the guy in the front needs to learn to speak up, cant understand a word hes saying while hes mumbling, he didnt let us choose a option between mild or spicy. When we got home to eat it, the chicken had a weird old taste inside, the outside was good and crunchy but the inside was just yuck. Whenever I eat fried chicken from anywhere else, I could eat 3-4 pieces, with these guys I ate 1 and was thrown off by the weird taste inside. It tasted like how chicken smells when youre about to slaughter it. Chicken smell. Stay away.

Service excellent, super clean, not a lot of greasy smell. The chicken burger was super good. Prob best in the area. Definitely recommend after a shisha session. Closes at 2 am but food were still fresh late night.

Probably they dont change their oil timely. Orders poutine, chicken fry and butter shrimp they all taste bitter. So its all about using old oil to frying the items make them taste like this. Staff tried to cooperated nicely.

Saldev and Dara were amazing. They patiently and accurately take my long orders and always coordinate with the rest of their team to have it prepared and organized for my lunch meetings on the day. Thats the reason why we always choose Chicken Kitchen. Kudos to the team and great chicken!

I have edited my review as Chicken Kitchen has really gone downhill in the last 2 years. The chicken is great, and the fries are decent. The poppers are usually great as well. But in the last 2 years, the orders have gotten really slow, the average wait for an order of fried chicken is 40 minutes. Each time I ve called an order in (this is at least 7 or 8 times now) I get told that the order will be ready in 20-25 minutes. Each time I get there, I get told the order will be another 15 minutes, and it s usually closer to 20 minutes tbh. If they would just tell me an honest time, I wouldn t mind as much, but every single time I m waiting in store for an order that should have been ready 20 minutes earlier. Also tonight, we ordered 8 poppers, got 4 regular sized poppers, and 4 half ones? (Pic below) Why would they even serve poppers that have been cut in half to customers? I m not sure if they ve changed management or something, but Chicken Kitchen has gone downhill.

Disappointing Experience Wrong Orders and Terrible Customer Service I ve ordered from this restaurant multiple times, and each time, my order has been wrong. Its incredibly frustrating to expect one thing and receive something completely different. This isnt just a one-time mistake; it s happened several times. To make matters worse, when I called to complain, the lady cashier yelled at me instead of addressing the issue calmly. The lack of attention to detail and the rude customer service are unacceptable. I m seriously reconsidering ever ordering from here again. Consistency, accuracy, and decent customer service should be basic expectations, but unfortunately, this restaurant falls short.

Horrible experiences. Came here multiple times and every time I ve had issues with my whole order. Either the chicken is undercooked or overcooked or it s gone bad. After informing them multiple times I was told I d get my order remade. When I went to get it, they treated me and my family with such disrespect saying are you getting your entire order remade for free ? They made rude comments as well. Was a very loyal customer as I d come every week a few year ago and since then the quality has gone down.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The lady serving us didnt change her gloves after handling cleaning supplies (like the broom) and didnt wash her hands afterwards. This was concerning for me, as it affected the cleanliness and hygiene of the food. Unfortunately, I wont be returning to this restaurant until they improve their food handling it s happened at jul 13 around 5:30

Food tastes great, but unfortunately is 2x saltier than what it should be. Makes it impossible to finish one of their meals in one sitting, it just becomes too salty for the palate and Im no stranger to fast food. Also have visited more than once so its not a one-off bad day. Best items are the jalapeno poppers, poutine, and wings. Stay away from the apple pie, its an under-cooked soggy mess.

Food is simple; its fried chicken. How hard can it be? What was not easy to skip was the pricing in this place. One serving of fries was $12, and it was so small that I counted them, and there were only 31 pieces. Overall, I did not get the food quality for what I paid for. I would rather get a steak, and I would still save money not worth it.

I went there yesterday the chicken was smelly and tasted really bad I don t know if their oil was bad or chicken I got very bad stomach aches after that.. I ordered fried chicken and Mac n cheese and both were tasteless.

As soon as me and my Co-worker entered, we were greeted.And Im not sure what tipped them off,but they asked where we were From? We told them Ohio. Went here last night and ordered food and the staff were extremely rude and disrespectful which caught me off guard. On top of that the food wasn t even good it was dry and unseasoned. Overall this place is a big NO for me. Don t even waste your time to go here or your money when you can eat from places with better food and staff.

Why the fake Buy 1 Get 1 deals on Uber Eats? In store a chicken sandwhich costs $8. On Uber Eats, a single chicken sandwhich supposedly costs $18.99. They make you think its a buy one get one deal because it shows you the price it would have costed if you didnt have the deal (which was $37.98, for TWO singular chicken sandwiches, no fries or drink). In reality, its a Buy more than 2 Get 2 deal. Please stop these manipulative tactics.

The food is great but the girl who works at the front cashier is really rude. She has an attitude every time I come to pick up my food. She even had the odasity to ask me an inappropriate question which was unprofessional of her. She didn t tell me to pick up a spoon which I thought would be in the bag immediately and had to eat my food with my hands. Other than that everyone else is nice. I think the restaurant needs to hire someone who likes their job & is also nice and respectful to customers.
