It's a independent restaurant. I always like independents. People are friendly and helpful. I have to listen carefully and speak slowly to understand the gentleman serving me. He is very helpful tho and show me where to seat at the back. I have difficulty walking.
I’ve been going to this place since I came to Canada in 2020! I can honestly say that the delicious taste has kept up to its name by not changing over the time I’ve been there! Today, I got to taste their BBQ Chicken Sticks and Beef/Lamb Kabab! Very, very nice, it’s safe to say that I’ll keep on recommending people to come here, as I’m utterly satisfied with their food and also their warm welcome by the owners. You actually feel like home, here., Welcome!
The chicken shawarma was a bit dry TBH. They do give extra toum which I appreciated but it just felt dry and a lil underseasoned. Conversely the poutine was way too salty and almost inedible. I think they must have nuked the fries with the gravy cause it was super hot and melty but in a strangely uniform way.
Saw her grilling a hand pressed beef patty and she kept flipping it to perfection. The other employee was carefully dressing up a delicious looking shawarma plate. This was happening while my falafal order was being fried fresh to order. It was very solid and above the neighborhood average in taste and quality..
If you are craving for a shawarma meal or in a need for something different for lunch or dinner, this is an ideal place to visit. It's location is also convenient for office and first responders and it is opened to very late at night. So I ordered 2 chicken platters and also the 1 Falafel platters. Both were delicious. The chicken platter from my experience was a little dry but the dill rice was scrumptious including the salad topped with garlic mayo. I wasn't too keen on the pickles as it was too sour. The falafels had a nice crunchy exterior coating and the inside was moist and not too salty. Overall, the platters were delightful and would definitely go back again as the portions are substantially good and the price was reasonable. Update: prices have gone up significantly. Chicken platter is now $17 after tax. So will go there a little less often.
it’s a medium size restaurant. their food is amazing delicious, the price is little more than other shawarma places, but for the food is worth it. The restaurant is serving halal food only, have plenty seats. The door is not automatic and it’s little heavy, for a person with disabilities will hard to open that door, requiring help for sure. kids friendly. stuffs are sweet, I especially like the woman, maybe because I go there often, so we kind of know each other, but I don’t know her name😂! the restaurant seems clean and well organized. I like their traditional decorations. so will I go back and will I recommend it to family and friends. The answer is yes!
Incredible. I came in because in the photos I saw someone posted noodles , I wanted a light snack. Haven’t had this in awhile because I no longer come through this area but it was also reliable so why not. You will not find such portions, that taste phenomenal, priced this fairly, anywhere in Canada. No noodles because it’s 12:45am and they close at 1:00am , wow , bummer right????…NO. Introducing: Roasted chicken leg with the fixings as you can see. Everything was fresh. The salad , the turnips, pickles, sauce, rice. Whatever you wanna discuss. I promise you it was so fresh. The lady at the counter putting my little box of happiness together is so sweet and she knows how to tug on a foodies heart strings for sure. I see her go towards the fryer and grab a wedge then start dipping it in a side of garlic sauce, then hand it to me. Like a real genius would. And wow, just like that another item for me to enjoy. This was such a hearty meal that I was able to share with my mom , which makes it 10x better. That box fed us both. My only regret and lesson is buy at least 2 next time lol.
The place looked a little scuffed at first but it’s worth a visit. You can either take-out or dine-in as the right side of the restaurant has tables. The rice had crazy amounts of dill in it but surprisingly it wasn’t overwhelmingly distracting. Great portions so never feel like you were scammed for your money. Veggies were fresh and the chicken was juicy. I was a little thrown off by the scoop of garlic sauce instead of it being in a bottle but you can control how much you want for each bite so that’s a bonus. The hot sauce obliterated my boyfriend, so be aware….it is very spicy.

This is such an underrated gem in Scarborough! Definitely get their fries too.. just the way I like it, thick and crispyyy. JUST a suggestion.. I think they need to get rid of that dill sauce and instead just use garlic tahini or something! Would be bombbb

Great food at a good price
Unfortunately I could not even try the wonderful looking beef kabobs. Man sitting outside preparing the bbq was handling a house cordless phone and cellphone while using his disposable glove. I told the Asian food prep employee I dont appreciate dirty phones and gloves while preparing my meal. No solution and the customer service was sub par. Youve lost me as a customer for life. Keep clean and safe for people to trust you from getting sick. Transferring germs from two phones and work gloves is not acceptable in Toronto. I will definitely make a call to Toronto Health and they can inspect your business. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

I love the place. Only place open past 10 within the area and always tastes great. Their spicy sauce is fantastic and I always ask for extra. Be careful though because the spice hits you a second time. If you go for a late night meal you wont be disappointed. Though you may have to wait for the line as it gets quite busy after 10. Edit: Price increases have hit this place hard. $19 for 2 wraps. Still good but I would probably look elsewhere for cheap eats in the area.

2 chicken shawarma wraps and 1 beef, 2 cans of pop, 1 baklava $36. The food was surprisingly bland. The pita was the weakest part, all 3 pitas fell apart whole eating. There was a noticeable lack of garlic/toum. The baklava is not made in house and was dry.
I use to come here like twice a week now they changed the rice and chicken supplier it tastes like sewage water i wish brother can bring back. I gave it a chance i felt so disgusted. Brother I know economy tough please bring back the old shawarma rice and chicken
The food was exceptional, and the owner was courteous and gracious. He provided us with an outstanding overall experience. Their lamb platter is arguably the best shawarma in Toronto. The lamb is incredibly tender, practically melting in your mouth. I highly recommend this place for both lunch and dinner, and I will definitely return when Im in the area.
The food was bangin. Had the beef shawarma which was really packed and super filling, and the 6 piece falafel appetizer on-top of a light blanket of shredded lettuce and a seasoned mayo-like dressing. 10/10

I love the portions of meat compared to other places its the best. Prices are low beef or chicken burger for $5 shawarma $8-10. The chicken tikka sticks are huge and only $5-7. Apart from the low price its soo delicious. Try lamb shank with rice $20. Vegetarian options: You can have falafel platter very yummy. Dietary restrictions: You get to choose how you want your food to be or have in it. Parking: Free parking lot. Kid-friendliness: You can dine in do special events other party food. Wheelchair accessibility: Theres always someone to help you fit in.

Used to get shawarma from this place, they cut the quantity nearly by half and increased the price at the same time. People be careful going here, you will be disappointed!
I always go to this place. I am giving one star because of the bad act done by the owner. They recently increased the prices. The chicken shawarma price is 8.85 $ as of 5/30/2024. With the 13% tax the total will be 10.05 cents. Instead of charging me 10.05, the owner himself has charged me 10.25 $ which is 20 cents more than the actual price. I am ok with that too. 20 cents is not the issue. But the way he was hiding the POS while I was paying made me feel that the act was dubious and he was intentionally doing that. If it ends with me it s fine! But if he is doing for most of the customers walking into his place then it s a fraud. I hope he will change his behaviour after looking at my review. Again, it s a great place with good shawarma. But be watchful with the charges laid upon you for the items you are purchasing. I am also attaching the charge for your reference.

Different employees are putting the prices for the dishes according to their will, some employees just take the money shown in the menu while others take, 5$ or more extra and when I ask each time, they say the price has increased, dude, yesterday it was like 12$ for the half leg chicken Platter and when I went in today, the guy told the price is 18$. I dont want to bargain every time I went in.

This is our favorite restaurant for my entire family. Every family member loves it. It is clean, hygienic, and nutritious and delicious. It has a variety of nutritional needs, fresh vegetables, fiber, and wheat. The cakes are made of carbohydrates, and the very freshly baked beef and chicken are the highest quality natural protein. Paired with the stores unique and delicious various sauces, it is simply wonderful to pour on the food. It is nutritious and delicious! My three children have to eat twice a day before they want to sleep well. I also have to eat at least once a day, otherwise I will miss the feeling of delicious food. Thank you for bringing infinite warmth and joy to my whole family. I hope you don t move. We will buy it every day. The key is that it is not too expensive. Everyone, including children, can afford it. It only costs a few yuan and you can eat very full and delicious. The boss is very kind-hearted and he will put in a lot. Ingredients for us, thank you very much!

Was around the area. Decided to check it out. Staff, young dude was serving a customer, so we waited. In comes in older gentlemen, could be the owner. Asked us for our order, not friendly, but not rude either. When he came in, he was holding cash, used the til, open it up and put cash away. Then grabbed the pita, bare hands, no washing lol. Im not picky, maybe I wouldve eaten if I didnt see him make it, who knows. Cancelled our orders, seemed unsanitary. Not going back for sure.

Good place for an amazing shawarma . The chicken shawarma was amazing- the bread for crisp and chicken was juices and perfecto. Chicken Platter was a thumbs-up portion is very huge. I loved their potato weges. Their garlic sauce is the game changer
Grabbed a chicken shawarma combo that came with fries and a drink ($13), waited a decent amount of time (5 minutes), the place itself was relatively empty and quiet at the time (4pm). The dining area s atmosphere is a little sad, and the lights were off. But the food tasted amazing, the shawarma itself was amazing, was filled to the brim! And had lots of veggies, the fries were phenomenal and was given generous seasoning and coating by the cooks. I will recommend this to friends and family nearby, definitely try this place.

Ordered the chicken dinner plate and its prob the biggest plate Ive ever gotten at any shawarma place. Asked for extra sauce and they really did give extra lol the hot sauce is actually spicy and good! They gave me so much rice and chicken. The meal was enough for 2 people. I couldnt finish it alone. Price is good for the amount you get too. Chicken was nice and tender as well. 100% Recommend!
Ordered a beef platter for my late night craving. The restaurant is open till late and I must say the food was as fresh as you can expect during the peak hours. Beef is cooked to perfection and not at all chewy, the rice was freshly cooked and aromatic. Garlic sauce is the hero of the meal!

They changed the portion by changing their container :(((( less rice less meat and less veggies .. also the rice was the sticky rice and looked like marinated/pan fried on different sauce guess i lost my fav place. Not worth driving 25min back and forth (40min of total driving) I would give 10 stars if they let me! Soo delicious!! No wonder their name is delicious shawarma their portion is big too!! Rice is moist and flavourful. The chicken is so chunky and meaty their spicy sauce is on another level! So be careful

I went there because the reviews were high. However, when I went in, the store is a mess. The lettuce looked old. Saturday 8pm ... Hungry for shawarma... order Family deal that states ANY CHOICE of 2 plates, 2 wraps, fries, and 2L bottle of pop. The main chef with white hair and airPods in his ears tried to pull a fast one on us by saying that it only applied for chicken and not beef. After much arguing including the threat to have a refund, did he relent. He tried to guilt us by arguing that beef was more expensive but another gentleman even came to our defense by stating that they should update the menu instead of misleading people. After ordering only 1 beef wrap and the rest being chicken, the old man then said that we were only entitled to 2 pops! How does a family meal only come with 2 pops (2x350ml) when 2000ml makes more sense?!? My wife and I looked at each other and said it wasnt worth arguing further about. Portions were sizeable but in the end the chicken was a bit dry and the service was what prompted this review. Good herbed rice though.

Very bad services and taste is good. It used to good when a lady was working but now business is busy but zero services and often changing staff and no experience staff and wait time is also high. I took chicken shawrama full of vegetables and torn bread and no suace.
Large shawarma however not well done at all. Cold on the inside and not made with much care or effort. Place is a bit run down and dirty looking. Wouldn t recommend eating here unless desperate.

In particular, it is important to ask the person preparing the shawarma to really smother it with garlic sauce. Thats where the distinctly pleasant flavour is rooted, in my opinion. - - End of Update *** The service person is good-natured, he makes good food efficiently, and he keeps track of who arrived when. The Shawarma at this location is particularly unique. The person who referred me to this restaurant swears by the Shawarma as being the best, anywhere; and I can see what he was talking about. The shawarma is very good. It has a very unique composition and flavour. I have also had other shawarma that is also very good, but different in composition and flavour. So, you will find that the shawarma here will fill a particular need. It is one of those flavours that you will desire exclusively once in a while. It will be pleasing to everyone in a general sense, but for Shawarma Connoisseurs, it will be a significant addition to the shawarma pallete which the Connoisseur can choose to yield for particular situations or in the company of particular companions. It is similar to desiring a particular Burger Joint over another. Sometimes you desire a burger from one place, and other times you will desire a burger from another place. Both burgers are pleasing and significant, but they both fill unique gastronomical needs at different times. I highly recommend the shawarma here. They serve many other hot dishes as well.
The food was old and gross the sauces clearly never get cleaned . The place is very dirty and no hygiene practice used I didnt want to rude but I paid 15 dollars for a shwarma plate walked out the doors and put it in the garbage

This is my third time here and their chicken shawarma has been consistent. Taste wise I would give chicken shawarma 8.5 out of 10. Beef shawarma is tad dry so 7 out of 10. But they are generous with the toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, radishes, garlic sauce, white tahini sauce). Meat ratio is very reasonable as well. Cash or Debit only. I think they charge $0.25 if using Debit card.

It was indeed a very delicious falafel I had. Best service, best taste. I ordered veg Falafel, the lady nicely changed her gloves before preparing my food; however, the guy working there just packed it without change his gloves which is WORST! The employees should have this basic knowledge that if the food is veg, they shouldnt make it non-veg by touching it with their dirty gloves!!! I would definitely visit again and make sure this thing doesnt happen again! Please take care! I didnt want to make any issue so I just took it but someone might not like it.

I had to edit my review from 5 stars to 2 stars as this keeps happening. Rice is mushy, overcooked and the shawarma is quite salty. If you guys are consistent with the quality of your rice, my review will change again. Todays platter is quite disappointing as seen in the picture. Rice is completely mushed and overcooked, almost not edible.

Best spot for shawarma and falafel in maybe a 10km radius. Great for a quick grab and go... Not much of a venue but ok for what it is. Caveat emptor cash or debit card only for patients, credit is not accepted here
Hands down favourite place for their fries and beef shawarma platter. Also, their garlic sauce has got to be the best in town. Literally find myself coming back for more just because of the sauce. The friendly staff and service is just a bonus to this place. Would definitely recommend to family, friends, and anyone who likes good shawarma.

I have been a regular customer of Delicious Shawarma Falafel and been enjoying since. Recently i have seen a new guy working there. He is built fat and with spectacles. Probably a Indian Guy. This guy is full of attitude and doesnt know what he is doing there . I bought a platter shawarma and he prepared it badly with nothing in it . One onion and tomatoes and rice and some chicken. He clearly doesn t know what he is doing there. Watch out for the guy bros!!! Lost the cravings for the shawarma from here .
A must place to visit if you are looking for the best shawarma and plate in GTA. The new staff is very friendly, so the owners are and customer service is excellent. I would recommend everyone out there to try this place.

Glad to have this gem in my area for my go to food spot. The food/service is much better when the owner is in but still great overall. Garlic sauce is top tier especially with the fries, Shawarma is solid too. Wish the hot foods they had displayed were more consistent as well as the pricing. All in all, they are a decent establishment for being in a low traffic area. Can t go wrong with the Chicken Shawarma Combo. Or the Falafel wrap if you re feeling vegetarian.
