The food was decent and definitely worth the price. The staff was really welcoming and very kind; they had exceptional service. such a cute place to meet with friends, or go on a small date. The food is Halal as well. I wouldn t really recommend the salmon. The fish itself is good, but I think the ratio between the rice and fish was off. The chicken bowl was definitely worth it and it was cheaper. Definitely your best bang for your buck. they have a lot of great dessert options to such as milkshakes! I would definitely go again

Manveer may be the most overqualified worker I have seen at a restaurant in my life. Me and my friends get better service from him than a luxurious fine dining place, which is crazy. Even if we come at 2am he is still delivering amazing service and never fails to make our experience great.

Rating: Ive been coming to this place for over 4 years, specifically for their Big Smoke sandwiches, which were always a highlight. Unfortunately, I have to say the recent change was a disappointment. The switch from the original sourdough bread to burger buns just doesn t work for this sandwich. The buns dont hold the flavors of the meat as well, and it takes away from what made the Big Smoke so great. If possible, I d love to see them go back to the original recipe. Still a decent spot, but I miss the old version of the sandwich!

I am very sad to give this place which I have been going to for years a 1 star. My favourite thing to order was the turkey club which I loved. However, when I last ordered it to my surprise it was in a bun and there was a lot less meat. The sandwich was much much better. I hope they turn it back to the original way.

We were literally a table of 16 and we were there at showtime bistro at 2 am the ambience the music the food and everything was just so perfect. I don t know where to start, my mom ordered chicken wings yesterday October 11,2024 however the chicken wings was old so we got it replaced for burger. All good right? Nooooo the restaurant tried to redeem itself by giving the same bad chicken wings as we were leaving a a a complimentary to which we didn t find out till we got home. It s one thing to do a nice thing and another thing to try and poison my mom

Quick service, new food, facility, nice time

Made me sick. Ive been to every location, but this one is the only one Ive given something that wasnt 5 stars. I came here 2 nights ago and got the ribs, none of the other locations had them. They tasted okay, It was my first time having ribs so I have no point of reference. The experience was good, its what comes after that has ruined my past 2 days. Horrible stomach aches, my hands and feet were freezing and I felt extremely sick. I have never been affected by red meat in such a way, Im not sure if its your fault or my own problem with red meat. Perhaps it was the fat content of the ribs that messed me up, Im not sure. It took me 2 days to manage to finally eat again. Im a big fan of the habibz corner chain, but I will probably never return to this location.

My friend and i may not come back anymore since the food doesnt taste same. I used enjoy poutine dish in this restaurant which has juicy gravy, tasty chicken and good smell of coconut in sauce. We are so upset this time; sauce is too sour, and i cannot find any gravy in dish. I order sweet chili wings, and the sauce also has strange sour taste. I am sure i order sweet chili flavour not sweet_sour flavour, so we dont finish any dishes this time.

A place with ample seating and high barriers to give you an intimate setting for a group of friends. Their poutine is stuffed with tasty sauces and you can add extra meat to it. The server (Manveer Singh) is very nice.

They only have one server who is also handling the take out and sit in customers, it took the poor server 30 minutes before taking the order. After the order was placed it has been 45 minutes and there s no hope for food being served. I was unable to give ratings because I have not tasted it year.

I don t write many reviews and only really do when I had a positive experience. It was so bad that I just had to write a review. First of all, the design of the restaurant is weird and inefficient. The counter is right at the front when you walk in so you can barely form a line and even properly order due to the layout of the restaurant. The takeout, dine in, and delivery shares the same counter so it s just a mess and chaos. Ordered wings and they have no flavor selection at all. Ordered 3lbs and it was not even tossed in the limited sauce they have, small and broken, overcooked, and it was 2.5lbs once you get rid of the packaging. I waited 40 mins and they couldn t even toss it? Guy in the front was accommodating but just expect mid food, and long wait times.

The poutines are why I come here. Chicken shawarma and jerk poutines are cheap, great portions, and taste great. Not to mention Manveer made it all a great experience, kind and warm service. Really made it nice.

Showtime bistro used to be good, now the service has drastically gone down. Everytime I call to place an order, there is so much background noise on their end because of whatever reason, either they are playing loud music or whatever the case is. I find myself yelling on the phone to place my order and look like an idiot if I m in public doing so. More than half of the time my order is wrong, because they either have someone new working there who doesn t understand because English either isn t their first language or because they have items you can order that aren t on their menu so the person taking the order has no clue, that s unfair to both the customer and to the worker. This place has become a hit or miss at this point, one time I had hair in my chicken on rice meal, added flavour? And other times the food is amazing. Quality certainly has gone down, they used to be phenomenal. Hopefully they get back to that point.

Waited 1 hr for our food, the only good thing was the mango smoothie, had a steak sand. So much cheese couldnt taste the meat, had to go to find a waitress for our check, and the whole place was empty...will not recomand or go back.

Im giving a 1 star for the quality of food. Ordered jerk chicken. Asked if it was authentic jerk chicken, and said it was. But on the contrary it was not jerk. Was just a regular chicken bowl with small pieces of chicken, squirted with shawarma saus e. I thought would be a chicken leg. The rice was also not carribean, but low quality rice. Was worst chicken bowl I had. Dont waste your money. They should not name it jerk chicken, but rename it just chicken bowl.

How can I start, the food was amazing, my friend got the jerk chicken poutine that I didn t really like, but I got the montréal poutine and let me say IT WAS AMAZING! One of if not the best poutine I ve ever had. I also got multiple milkshakes, and I m not gonna lie, they were for sure the best milkshakes I ve ever drank. The Reese s milkshake was amazing and decadent, the Hollywood shake was sweet and savoury, the Oreo milkshake was subversive and mouth watering. The atmosphere was awesome for a movie fan like me, lots of references and cool nods to classic movies and pop culture. The costumer service rocks, Manveer s the GOAT! I hope only success for this franchise.

This place is decent, however the main server who should be the Manager is named Manveer. He greets everyone with a smile and treats everyone like his personal guest, and clearly runs everything and ensures everyone is taken care of, but Ben when the kitchen messes up orders. I ve come here before few times but this place has gone downhill big time. Ordered a sharwama poutine and a burger. First things first the service was not good. Dirty utensils, one of the cup has curry and rice on it, the tables were dirty. The order took an hour plus for two things, unacceptable. Now for the food, shawarma poutine was 5.5/10. As for the burger it came cold uncooked and gave fries when we ordered wedges. Now their burgers are not good I m aware but giving us something uncooked is again unacceptable. Sadly I used to think the jerk chicken poutine was good, 7/10 but with everything else; this will probably be the last time I come here.

This halal restaurant tucked away in a Scarborough plaza serves some of the best quick food! I tried their chicken tikka wrap and the tikka was so flavourful! The wrap was very filling and I loved the fries that came with it. My friend tried their chicken tikka poutine which was also super yum and I have to say their service is also very warm and friendly. The ambiance is nothing too fancy but it s fine for a fun dinner with friends.

They pay only 10 dollars/hour to the workers , they dont give tips to the employees and threaten them to send back home if ,they ever asked for their rights . This restaurant has some really great food. Everything I ve tried here has honestly been really great. I seriously recommend the carne asada appetizer!! They also have great wings and burgers. While I do enjoy the quality of the meals, I will say the restaurant has some room for improvement in terms of service. I think it s important for the server to let each customer know Hi my name is __, I ll be taking care of you today and also Just so you know, the bill is paid at the front register so whenever you guys are done you can come up to the register. I think the main thing lacking from this establishment is the communication with the customers. I was very confused wondering why no one had asked if I needed the bill only to realize I have to go up (which is fine but I think it should be let know early on). So yeah, foods great, servers are nice, but I d say to bring this restaurant to a 5-star level check in on your customers more often and you guys are almost there. Overall we had a pleasant time and I hope to see these improvements be made.

WOW... ok, I ordered takeout for my kids and I ... it took longer than we expected to get our food... BUT... My 13 year old son had the Showtime burger... he actually said this is the BEST burger I have EVER had. My 15 year old daughter had the greek salad with chicken... she let my son and I try and we all said this was absolutely delicious chicken. I felt like having a club sandwich... I dont remember EVER having a thick, perfect Club House Sandwich like this. We were at a baseball tournament, and we told everyone about how delicious the food was here, and prices were very reasonable (Milkshakes were also a really nice surprise!)

Came here around 1a.m on a Saturday night, and the service was still fairly quick. Our server Manveer had a great attitude and was very helpful. I would never, under any circumstances, recommend this establishment to anyone. The sheer audacity and complete lack of ethics exhibited by the owner are absolutely appalling. He blatantly refuses to pay his employees, which is not only illegal but also incredibly immoral. Can you even begin to imagine working tirelessly day in and day out, only to find that your hard-earned wages are withheld from you by a greedy, unscrupulous employer? It s beyond unacceptable it s outright exploitation. Moreover, this despicable practice extends even further as he takes advantage of temporary status workers. These individuals, already in precarious situations, are being ruthlessly exploited for his profit. The owner is capitalizing on their vulnerability, manipulating the system to pad his own pockets while these workers struggle to make ends meet. Its a gross injustice that should not be tolerated in any society that claims to uphold values of fairness and respect for labor. As a conscientious customer, do I want to patronize a place where such egregious abuse is happening behind the scenes? Absolutely not! The thought of my money contributing to an operation that thrives on the exploitation and suffering of its workers makes my skin crawl. I refuse to support an establishment that operates with such flagrant disregard for human dignity and labor rights. The energy of a place so deeply tainted by exploitation is not something I want to be a part of, and it s certainly not something I want to support with my business. This situation is haram in every sense of the word. It goes against the principles of decency, fairness, and respect for human beings. It s an affront to ethical standards and a slap in the face to every hardworking individual who believes in the value of honest labor. This place doesnt deserve a single patron, and its practices deserve to be exposed and condemned. I implore everyone to steer clear of this establishment and to spread the word about its disgraceful operations. We must hold such businesses accountable and refuse to allow them to prosper on the backs of exploited workers. Haraaaam!

To save time, i have ordered via phone. They confirmed my order and said it would be ready in ten minutes. I came after thirty minutes and guess what? They asked me to wait and placed my order to the kitchen!!!!! These guys should clearly mention no phone order Very poor customer service. June 14, 2024 =========== Had the same incident again!!! Ordered via phone again and after coming to the restaurant, they didnt find my order!!! What an awful customer service. Need to find other options.

On this EID al Adha 06-16-2024 went for late Lunch and was delighted to have enjoyed their food. The ambience was great especially the Arabic music. Service was excellent , took time as the food was prepared fresh. We were Family of 3 Adults,1 Child and a toddler.

We went there yesterday It was really hot day yesterday and their AC wasnt working. We sat there, had our dinner but literally wanted to runaway after dinner. Took 30 mins to take order and very long to prepare our food. I cant imagine how the chefs are working in burning hot environment. Very disappointing. Will not go there ever.

The food was absolutely amazing the burgers were juicy and flavorful, the shakes were rich and creamy, and the poutine was the perfect combination of crispy fries, savory gravy, and gooey cheese curds. Whether youre in the mood for a hearty sandwich or a satisfying shake, Showtime Bistro has something for everyone. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and excellent service. Great food and service. Noor and Manveer, both offered us great service. This was my first time trying this restaurant and I guess I have another restaurant on my list for all the cravings specially their classic poutine which reminded me of Montréals poutine.

I recently visited showtime bistro and was disappointed with the overall experience. The food quality was quite average and did not meet the standards I expected. I also tried the shared platter, and the portion size was very small, especially considering the price it was definitely not worth it. The food was served very late, and the employees did not provide the necessary service. Unfortunately, this did not live up to the positive reviews I had read beforehand. I hope they can improve their quality, portion sizes, and service in the future.
