I have been here very often these days because of waitress Monique! I used to go to the downtown branch a lot in the past, but the reason I came here is the pleasant dining environment and friendly service. The food is obviously so delicious, and the many services provided at the time of the meal make me feel so comfortable and satisfied. I I especially like waitress Monique the most. Here is the reason why. The service at Haidilao is generally perfect, but sometimes it was disappointing. Once, the other male server made me and my boyfriend very upset because of the overall order mistake and endless delays. At that time, Monique came to us and handled the situation very calmly and professionally, and she helped us increase our customer satisfaction to the highest level. Since then, I have visited here a lot often. She always greets us with a bright smile and knows exactly what we want. We love the food here, but we would like to continue to visit this branch even if its because of Moniques service

Miss Maggi is full of emotional value here, and she can come to Haidilao to comfort you if you cant coax her. He is very considerate and takes good care of your emotions. He will also play games with you and give you small gifts. It is simply a happy hometown for E people! It s delicious and fun. I ll come back next time!

Jack is always our waiter when we come after hours and he is kind and attentive. He always makes sure we are taken care of, from the moment we are seated to when we leave the restaurant. You are in good hands if hes your waiter!

My neice wanted to try this place, so my brother invited to try this place with them. This hot pot chain has good and high reviews. I would have given it 4 stars if we hadnt been rushed out after we picked our flavour of ice cream. The bill came right after it and they dont give us the 10% as mentioned. I will not be coming back to this location or any locations. I really dislike being rushed in any restaurant or establishments. I completely understand stand they are busy and need tables for other customers, but I didnt even get the desserts they had at the dessert station. We get our ice cream and then bill?

Ordering was seamless through their intuitive tablet app, although a minor inconvenience arose when the set combo I wanted wasn t available on weekends a detail that could have been clearer. The star of the meal was the hot pot itself. The Spicy Beef Tallow soup base delivered a bold, luxurious kick, while the Tomato Soup Base offered tangy richness and versatility. The Pork Bone Soup provided a comforting reset from the spice, and the Mushroom Soup Base offered a lighter, earthy option. Their Signature Marinated Beef stood out as tender, perfectly spiced, and delicious in every broth. Extras like the sauce bar, dessert station, and pristine washrooms added to the premium feel, as did the attentive staff. While slightly pricier, Haidilao s attention to detail and quality food make it a standout choice for celebrating or simply indulging.

The service is usually very good, but today I had to wait for a long time when ordering takeout. The tomato soup that I ordered was filled with red oil. I wondered why the person who usually served us soup in the store would deliberately put it aside. Why did he say he wanted soup this time? Just...maybe it s because I m busy. My first takeout experience wasn t very good

The food was absolutely good. Maggie was so kind! But one of my friends, who speaks Mandarin, said the guy was so rude. They had a conversation in Mandarin. His attitude while talking with her seemed a little rude. However, I couldnt understand Mandarin, so I thought it just seemed that way. I was surprised. I used to think Haidilaos service was the best, but how could his attitude be like that? Id say you should retrain him. We were there today at 11 am

We visited this restaurant for our very first hot pot experience, and it was absolutely delightful from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and ensure we enjoyed the meal. They thoughtfully provided a fruit plate, child-friendly plate, toy, and even special cups for our 4-year-old, which instantly put us at ease. They seated us away from other guests, creating a more relaxed atmosphere, and patiently walked us through the process, which was incredibly helpful as newcomers. The food was absolutely delicious everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. And the desserts? A wide selection of jellies and frozen treats that were the perfect sweet ending to a great meal! We all left with full tummies, big smiles, and wonderful memories. My son was especially thrilled by the attention he received, and we truly couldn t recommend this place more. They ve mastered not just great food but excellent hospitality, too. Very clean, unlike most of the Chinese restaurants especially hotpot places. Services, there is no comparison, extremely attentive, courteous and fast. You don t need to wait for anything, water refilled before the glass is empty, garbage collected before I even realized it, dirty dishes taken away as soon as you take the last piece of food out, we finished our meal in 1 hour start to finish, smooth and pleasant sailing . Highly recommended

The food was delicious and the service went above and beyond our expectations. This was our first time trying hot pot and the servers were so patient and helpful. If I was taking friends from out of town somewhere in Scarborough this would be the place. We got the laksa and tomato soup bases. Both were very flavourful and the servers continuously top up the broths as you cook and eat. The veggies and seafood tasted very fresh. I would recommend the cuttlefish. Also we came on a Saturday at lunch and there was so much entertainment happening - a costumed dancer, someone hand pulling noodles, an award presentation? I don t know if it s always like this or if it was an occasion but we loved the atmosphere. Vegetarian options: Mushroom soup base, many noodle, tofu/bean curd and veggie options e.g. taro, lotus root, assorted mushrooms

I had diarrhea after my first lunch meal at the restaurant. I suspect either their free cold drink or sauces/appetizers at the selfserve kiosk caused the problem. The restaurant has to be mindful of that, but service is good!

Literally the best restaurant experience in my life. Food was spectacular and the people who worked there were so respectful and kind. It was my brother s birthday when I went and they were so nice. They gave my brother a hat and glasses and played happy birthday from a speaker. When me and my family finished they gave us ice cream and I got a stuffy for $40. It was expensive, but it was worth it. If you want a nice relaxing time at a restaurant I highly recommend this place. Shoutout to all the people who were so nice!

My first time at this hotpot chain was a joke. Service was bad. I had to clean up our own table for a birthday cake even though they kept telling us our time to dine was up. When we left, I saw people having bib on while eating. We were not offer one. Everything is additional, sauce, side dishes, desserts. Its not worth the money. I can easily find an AYCE hotpot place that has much better service than this one.

Monique was quick to pick up on small details, like noticing when our drinks were low or adjusting the spice levels in the hot pot when she saw we were struggling a bit. She walked us through the menu, giving great recommendations and answering our questions patiently. It was clear she knew the dishes well, which made choosing easy for us. What impressed me most was her friendly, upbeat attitude. She managed multiple tables seamlessly but still made us feel like a priority. Little touches, like checking in at just the right moments, really made the difference in our dining experience. Monique s warm and attentive service added a lot to our meal, and we ll definitely be back to Haidilao!

Holy crap. This is the most impressive hotpot dining experience I ve ever seen. Highlights include: 1. Excellent service. Even while WAITING FOR OUR TABLE, we were offered fruits and tea. Servers were incredibly attentive. 2. The soups are so flavourful. You cannot go wrong with any flavour. 3. There was a DIY sauce bar and a DIY dessert bar. Who even thinks of this? Everything was delicious. I had three bowls of the dessert jellies and then at the end, the server offered us all free ice cream. I have never tried ecstasy but I imagine it d come close to what I felt when he brought that free ice cream to the table. 4. The man who pulled our noodles and made it into a table side show. Talented. Give him a promotion. 5. They think of everything. Ladies were given hair ties. Everybody got aprons. There were spaces for jackets. Washrooms were equipped with lotion, toothpicks, mouthwash. Signage TO the washroom was so clearly marked. Like it s just these little things that were so deliberately considered and much appreciated. 6. The secret codes. One per table. Such a creative addition to our experience. Make sure you look these up before coming! Being here may have been the best couple hours of my life. No exaggeration.

We came to Haidilou Scarborough location on a busy Saturday for lunch. Our server were YoYo and Vincent, they took care of us very well. We enjoyed the face changing proformance and the fresh made noodles, as well as he secret code suprises

Every time we came to Haidilou Scarborough we got warm welcomed with the staff. Especially today, our service Maggie she made us feel like at home. The atmosphere is just amazing! Maggie provided us with awesome service and treated us warmly.

We were asked multiple times to become a member inorder to take the Combo for 2 people. Anyway, I am not a hotpot fan. But my husband liked it. Meats were clean and fresh. Pork bone soup was good. The spicy broth with sediments had an insane amount of Sichuan peppers and chillies in it making the soup very very spicy and oily. The lettuce, quail eggs, fish roe, etc etc that came with the combo did not seem appetizing to me, so my hubby had to eat everything. Finally, I ordered the Fried chicken just so that I dont go out hungry. Well, clearly I am not a hotpot person. Good try though.

I came to Haidilao for dinner after getting off work very late tonight. The environment here is very good and the food is served very quickly. Especially the waiters named Joyi and Jack are very good at serving us. They always served us with a smile, and they were in a good mood when I saw them. half!

The staff are very accommodating, especially Jack is really friendly and attentive. The food is great and delicious. I will keep on coming back and recommend it to all of my friends.

You need to scoop it out yourself.

I was so hungry after watching Taylor Swifts concert that I came here to eat Haidilao. Miss Yumis service was super good~ I was so full of food and she even helped me and my friends take photos. The emotional value was enough. My friend said that such service is worth it. tip! Ha ha ha ha

Brother Jacks service attitude is great! Every time I come here, Brother Jack takes great care of me. He puts the shrimp on the head and puts it on the fruit plate. Careful and professional!

Im not going to lie this place is a great hotpot place and service and quality of the food was great too but a bit too pricey. Spent $90 per person. We left without being full.

This has become our family s go-to place for celebrating birthdays and other special occasions and also regular dinners. It s very kid friendly , and the food is consistently fresh and delicious, and our kids absolutely love the dessert bar and noodle dance. A big bonus is the incredibly friendly staff, from the hosts who greet you at the door to the servers and managers who ensure your meal is perfect. Every server we ve encountered has been attentive and accommodating, especially Henry, who always goes above and beyond to cater to our needs. The dining area and washrooms are also impeccably clean, which we really appreciate. Highly recommend this spot for a great meal

Having a gathering with friends at Haidilao, it truly is the best choice for dining with kids. The server, Jack, thoughtfully prepared childrens tableware and toys, and even gave the kids steamed eggs and fried buns. During the meal, the service was excellent helping us with fruit, prepard the soup, and even peeling the shrimp shells and heads for us. We all enjoyed our dinner!

Its very good, the taste is a bit off, but the overall score is really good. The service attitude has nothing to say, especially Leo! Mark! Allay! They are all very enthusiastic
