I haven’t had Indian food in a hot minute, and I was nearby when I decided to get some. This restaurant was one of the first ones to come up on Google, and they have lots of reviews with a 4.5 star average. I ordered the mutton biryani, and boy oh boy did it not disappoint. Not only was it the best Indian food I’ve had, it’s one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. It comes with a red sauce, not sure what it is, but it’s tasty, and another sauce with what I believe to be yogurt and chopped onions and chives. It’s the best sauce I’ve ever had. I’ll make it an effort to drive to Scarborough every once in a while to patronize this restaurant, it was so worth it. Also, some reviews say it’s a little more expensive than other places, but I found it to be worth it. I can think of many other foods you could buy for this price that wouldn’t taste nearly as good. Thank you for your great food and service!
I came so hungry wanted to buy just some fries and ketchup the young girl working here suggested I buy Briyani I told her I had an extraction done yesterday I cannot chew she said I should buy mutton Briyani. 😱 what a Briyani the mutton is soft like chicken, first time I finished eating all. Their service and food is outstanding. I will surely come again. Plenty of parking, lots of seating.
We had mutton briyani and chicken briyani and kothu roti. It is very tasty and delicious food. The mutton briyani was authentic south Indian flavor with more pieces of mutton and spicy . It is made up of seeraga sampa rice. They have provided the briyani in large quantity and quality so as to have fullest satisfaction. The dining hall is having an excellent atmosphere. The service is very nice. The place is very clean and tidy. We are very happy to have a very tasty and delicious dinner away from home.
The food was delicious. I really loved the Mutton Khotu. The service was also fast and the server was very nice. The seating is also nice and spacious. I would consider this restaurant a hidden gem in Scarborough.
I recently had one of the worst dining experiences. We placed our order at 10:30pm and despite being told it would take only 20 minutes, we didn’t receive our food until 11:30—and even then, it came out one dish at a time. The restaurant was an absolute mess; dirty tables were left uncleared, creating an unhygienic atmosphere. To make matters worse, the person at the front was incredibly rude and dismissive, showing a complete lack of customer service. And when the food finally arrived, it was a huge letdown—bland and poorly prepared. Overall, it was a terrible experience from start to finish. The experience was so bad that we ended up leaving the restaurant, asking them to cancel the rest of our orders. The entire ordeal was frustrating and disappointing. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Fantastic Food and Service at Dindigul Thalappakatti Biriyani!I had an amazing experience at Dindigul Thalappakatti Biriyani. The food was incredible—especially the biryani—bursting with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. The customer service was top-notch; our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Even during busy times, we felt well taken care of. I highly recommend Dindigul Thalappakatti Biriyani for anyone looking for a great meal and excellent service!
First time. Cute little space. Took vege biryani. It was a delicious blend of spices, and rice. There was no feel of oil but it was smooth. Quality and amount of oil in food is always my concern. Wish to try other items soon.
Both chicken 65 and chicken biryani tasted really really bad. I just threw them out and bought dinner from a different restaurant.I think that their ratings are NOT true. I also just called the restaurant told them my feedback. The receptionist said that’s the taste of their biryani and many people like it. I said that I felt like the chicken was spoiled. They said they buy their chicken from Costco and that’s the original taste.
Food quality and taste was extremely bad. We ordered 2 mutton thalis - the briyanis had a bad raw smell in it and the gravies alongside the thalis where very bad.
This restaurant exceeded all my expectations! The food was fresh, the flavors were vibrant, and the service was impeccable. A must-visit!
$17 for boneless chicken briyani. Disappointing as they took a drumstick and ripped it up and put it in the dish! Thats not technically boneless! Ive had better briyany for fraction of the price.
Dindigul Thalappakattu Biriyani in Markham is a must-visit spot for anyone craving authentic South Indian flavors. The biriyani here is outstanding, especially the mutton biriyani, which is packed with spices and cooked to perfection. The portion sizes are generous, and the side dishes like kothu parotta and curries are equally delicious. The ambiance is cozy, and the staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. While parking might be a little tight, the taste and quality of the food more than make up for it. Prices are reasonable for the quantity and quality you get. Highly recommend it for biriyani lovers and anyone looking to explore South Indian cuisine. Ill definitely be coming back!
I would give a 5 star rating. I have recently picked up mutton Biriyani and to be honest it taste sooo good.. I would recommend to try it out l.
This is the worst food I have tasted in Toronto.
Today, I visited this restaurant at 11:10 AM, just at the opening time and ordered Mutton Biryani. Restaurant was empty and i am the only dine in customer. after 5 minutes Mutton biryani arrived with dalcha and onion chutney. The quantity is little less than Madras branch , but taste is good and almost same. Dalcha is bad, but onion chutney was ok with less or no curd in it. after finishing the meal, i paid with debit card and left. Overall satisfactory experience.
I ordered chicken biryani. I have enjoyed every bite of the biryani. The spices were original from India. This restaurant has very nice atmosphere and the service was very friendly. I will recommend this store to my friends and family.
I recently visited Dindigul Thalappakattu Biriyani with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. First, the portion sizes for the biriyani were shockingly small for the price they charge. It felt like a child s portion, and we left feeling unsatisfied. For a restaurant that s known for biriyani, the serving size should reflect better value. The food itself was just average. The biriyani lacked the rich flavors and authenticity you d expect from a brand with such a reputation. It wasn t bad, but it didn t stand out either just mediocre at best. The biggest letdown was the falooda. It was an utter flop completely underwhelming and poorly made. It lacked the classic layering and richness of a proper falooda. The ingredients felt subpar and hastily thrown together, making it one of the worst desserts I ve had in a while. Overall, it wasn t worth the money or the hype. There are better options out there for both biriyani and desserts. This visit left me disappointed and unlikely to return anytime soon.
Was an authentic food cousine!
Fantastic food and service. Authentic and good people very recommended. Thank you for this experience =)
Parotta was so good me and my son enjoyed it
My heart and taste buds are like a typical South Indian, although my name doesnt sound like it but I lived in south india for 18 years of my life. The most authentic South Indian food ever. The mutton biryani, chicken 65, fish 65 & curries sent me back to India for a while. I made a pact with myself that I would go back at least twice every month!
Food was super duper delicious and I love the biriyani taste. Next time motton kottu for sure with side dishes....! Highly Recommended Thank you so much ... . Food : 5/5
The mutton biryani here is truly exceptional, with rich flavors and perfectly cooked meat that make it a must-try for anyone visiting. The staff are warm and welcoming, adding to the overall great dining experience.
The mutton briyani taste so good! Definitely coming back, it s my new favourite spot.
A very good place to hangout with friends as well as family with good food.
Really good food and service. Thank you! Gayatri for serving us, would love to visit again.
had a wonderful dining experience at Thalapakkati, thanks to Gayatri, who was our server. She was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was just right, enhancing our meal with her friendly demeanor. The biryani was delicious, full of authentic flavor, and her quick service added to the enjoyable experience. Thank you, Gayatri, for making our visit memorable! Shurely i will visit again.
Best Biriyani in Canada! Seriously!! The food is tasty. I love the ambience and great customer service. The sports TV keeps you entertained Come over and have a great time!
Great food! The fish and chips were amazing and the mutton briyani had the right amount of spice and flavor. I will definitely be back and recommend to others.
Tasty biriyani and fresh chicken. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Would recommend. Do give them a try.
Never knew this is how pepper chicken looked like. Would have ordered a naan along with this My 20$ was ruined. Never ever going here again. Food : 1/5
Nice place to have authentic biryanis and their chicken 65 and mutton biryani is a must try menu. Highly recommended.
Tasty food ,must visit .
Chicken and mutton biriyani thali (available weekends) is delicious. Great flavors and perfect spice level.
. The taste is no way close to the name of the place. . Service is very poor. Food is just made with MSG! All i could taste is msg !!!. I dont recommend this place to anyone !
This month November 12th I ate mutton Biryani at your restaurant.. Its very rich and tasty..All Ingredients are very unique.. This was first best biriyani i ate in canada and also your staff knew very well how to handle customers. she is a gem of your restaurant
Me and wife had lunch with this wonderful restaurant, We ordered Mutton biriyani its amazing traditional I would recommend Mutton biriyani with Cichick 65 ,its Heaven, though I am chef I highly recommend this place if you want to feel the real flavour of Biriyani vist this place and I meet chef he much experienced and Soo Good, Once again this biriyani will give you hevan feel
I dined in today and it s fantastically delicious at a low price Food
At the first time. Cute little space. We really loved the food and service here. The food was delicious. We eat chicken Kothu and Mutton soup so delicious Food
Great place! Great food! Great service!
I am wondering how this place is highly rated. We went in there expecting it to be Dindigal Thalappakaatu branch and so we are highly disappointed with almost everything in there. Food was average.Service good.
Superb taste of yummy mutton briyani and kothu parrots
Best mutton biriyani in town. Also, must try chicken 65 and beef devil!!!
Worst Biryani I ever had.
Thalapakatty Biryani tasted delicious, chicken 65 was delicious
Delicious biryani with the perfect blend of spices! Gayatri provided outstanding service, making our experience even better with her warm and friendly approach. Highly recommend.
I had chicken biryani and mutton biryani with my family, and both were absolutely delicious. Special thanks to Gayatri and Deepthicca for serving us with a smile and such positive energy. The tables were very clean, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I ll definitely be visiting again soon for the biryani!!!
I have ordered chicken biryani and so far it was the best dindigul biryani I ever had. Highly recommended.
Best place to get chicken and mutton biryani. I had always wanted to try thalappakattu biryani, and I had a decent experience. Highly recommend. 10/10
Great food!
We ordered mutton chukka biryani and vanjaram fish fry. The mutton chukka biryani was described as bone-in, in the menu, but it was actually boneless. We really liked the flavor of it, very well cooked. The fish was very dry, not seasoned well. We left one of the two pieces. it was bad. The restaurant itself if small, We have seem that half of the section is closed with only 3 tables open. we got a table that is next to washroom door and it s very inconvenient and unpleasant. The service took long and we waited to get our food. There was one server who is doing all by helself, doing the best she can.
Not your usual restaurant. Dont get beat up by the looks. The food taste is out of the world! The best dingual thalapakattu style Biryani in the entire GTA. Ive tried the Biryani more than twice and was never disappointed. The mutton was well cooked and soft.
Considering the price, the quantity of the biriyani was too low. The mutton roll sold as a set was worth the money and really tasty.
We went in late night for dinner. They didn t have idly or dosa but they customised egg kothu for my little one and she loved it The mutton biryani thali was delicious and mango lassi tasted good. The fact I liked the most was the food was hot and prepared when you place the order. You might have to wait for about 20min or so but worth the wait
We had lunch today. The food was really good with less oily and spicy. It tasted really good. Value for money.
I went there for the first time with high expectations. I thought the dum biryani would be fresh and tasty. I ordered two chicken biryanis, and the waitress told me to wait 10 to 15 minutes. I thought the biryani wasnt ready. She said the biryani was ready but they had to mix it with ghee. When I brought it home, I realized the biryani was old, cooked a day or two ago. They were reheating it with ghee and giving it to the customers. Dont go there with the expectation that the biryani is fresh, since it is dum biriyani.
I ordered mutton Briyani but it s not mutton it s lamp pieces.and i found a plastic piece inside the briyani it s waste of money .i never want to go to this restaurant.
Good food
My roommate had a craving of South Indian food so I suggested that we can go to Dindugal Thalapakkattu briyani & it was so awesome especially the Mutton Kothu tasted so goood. The ambience is so good & neat. Youll get to listen to the tamil songs & the playlist will also be so good. The food service was all so good. Overall everything is super. Hopefully we would like to visit it often from now onwards.
I wish I can give zero rating for the way the waitress addressed to my issue.
The food was excellent, and the wait time was minimal. Keerthana provided exceptional service, offering friendly assistance and valuable recommendations. I highly recommend this small restaurant.
The food tasted really good, but for a $18 mutton briyani, it hardly had 3 tiny pieces of mutton in it and the dish size was really small for the price.
Awesome Biriyani and tried their Jigarthanda for the first time it was so delicious
One of the best place to visit food was nice and delicious portion size good for price definitely worth it guys try it this not a paid promotion
Just to clear...all, this is not the thalapakatti that is famous all over the world/ in TN. This restaurant is proxy of it - ThalapakatTU....taste and ambience is no way closer to the original.
Mutton and chicken Briyani all time fav Such a good and tasty portion never had a back home flavour in Canada for a person portion is more than enough price is decent
Great food.
Edit After their reply : Now also its really disappointing to see that you guys are cooking up stories to counter my review. I know tamil and understood what you were talking to your colleague after those customers left. You were just mocking them.Come on!!! First thing, this is not the original Dindigul Thalapakkatti which I was confused about.Next, we ordered veg kurma, porotta and biriyani. The portion was veryyy less for an adult. Porotta was not cooked properly. Now, coming to the main part. There was a group of African origin customers at the restaurant when we reached there. They have ordered chicken wings. They asked about the status of the order, which was very normal and the main guy in the restaurant ( owner?) responded in a very rude way to them. The conversation went like it will take time!! do you still want or gonna cancel and all. I felt really bad for them. There was nothing provocative from the customers side, yet the guy chose to respond in a very unprofessional manner. I am a third person in this matter, but I was the only person witnessed this and felt to disclose it here. It is not at all acceptable to behave in this manner. The guy seemed very racist(?) to them. The lady who was providing service has nothing to do in this regard and her behavior and service was really good.
As a regular customer.I can confidently say this is the best briyani in town. The perfectly cooked rice, balances spices and tender meat never disappoint. friendly service. Highly recommended
Got mutton biryani and kalki from this place. i was skeptical before this purchase but really enjoyed the food. food quality is also good. do try at this place if you plan to eat some good tamil biryani.
This chicken biriyani was so good . i really enjoyed . there is something special try it guys
Mutton thali is to die for
Food is very good this is my second visit. Tried Mutton biryani and Chicken biryani my favourite is Mutton biryani. The Rice and the flavour is so tasty nd really yummy .the biryani style is very unique almost had the taste of Chennai s Dindugal style. Worth a second time visit
Tasty, good proportion food. Recommend to others.
They weren t kidding about using the most fragrant rice, the best ghee and spices. Quality stuff, pretty authentic, easily one of the best biriyanis I ve had in the city. All smiles even an hour after devouring a full mutton biriyani.
Excellent food service
Well served, and the taste seems better
The mutton chukka briyani is a deal to buy, and the mutton briyani was above par too. Chicken 65 briyani could have been better, but overall it was a great service. Food
All of the food here was amazing. Everything tasted wonderful. The servers were also extremely patient and kind.
Ordered mutton thali. The biryani is decent but nothing special. It could be better. The rest of the items are okay. Food
Food was good. I ordered Chicken 65 biriyani. Ambience was not good. Place was bit dark and alcohol smell was filling in the room. Ideal for take out and not dine in. Few tables for dine in. I don t prefer dine in.
Just visited this place, love their food. Very delicious. I enjoyed, first time eating India food. Their service was superb.Good customer care.
Love their kothu and biriyani authentic south india - Tamil guy reviews
If you can handle the heat and want to sweat off your sickness - this is the place to go! Had the chicken biryani 65 and butter chicken
I was going yesterday for best food . The chicken biryani was amazing. We have to try other food also . Parking: Free parking
Loved the chicken biryani and service is great. 10 stars for Ramya.
Authentic Thalappakattu Biriyani....
The restaurant is closed But mentioned open till 2 am
Very tasty food it was very peaceful but there are not a lot of veg options.
I love this place Food taste was amazing Food
The flavours and aroma are on point. Taste is subtle and intense. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and brilliant delicacy to cherish
Dropped in for a lunch on weekend saturday , biryani is so yummy and out of the world . Tried mutton thali, chicken biryani and chicken kottu roti . Good taste at a reasonable price . Must try for all missing home style biryani s . They are open on weekends till night 2 am during summers . Good and quick service .Good place , good vibes with good music . Again must try out place with families . Kid-friendliness: Spices are balanced enough for a toddler to try
Good service
The food was amazing. Its a small place but worth trying.
Too pricey and the food tastes awful.
I ordered mutton briyani and egg kothu parotta, it was really good. Felt like ate an authentic mutton briyani from south side of tamilnadu and the aroma also really appetizing. The service also really good. This is the only place that is providing seeraga Samba briyani. Must try the food
The fish and chips were so good. Deffinately coming to try biryani next time!
Fantastic choices
We were on the hunt for authentic Tamil Nadu style biryani and stumbled upon Thalappakattu in Scarborough. The food surpassed our expectations with its rich flavors and true South Indian essence. Portion sizes were generous, ensuring we left satisfied. The service was impeccable, adding to the overall delightful experience. If youre craving quality biryani and excellent service, Thalappakattu is definitely worth a visit!
Glad to find this little gem! We had a craving for Indian food and I middle of afternoon and found this family restaurant. It is a small restaurant but very clean with customers eating in and ordering take out. We ordered chicken biryani, mutton curry, parrota, and mango slush. All are delicious to our taste at affordable price! Service was very good too.
Amazing food never disappointed!!! Service was excellent as well. I will highly recommend it!!!
Doesn t taste good. I wouldn t recommend to anyone.
Got chicken biryani from here. It s tasteless, and it taste more like ghee and biryani. Worst Biriyani, I had in Toronto. I called them and I informed them that the biryani was bad, and I would like to return as it was less than 30mins I got I tasted only 1 spoon and they didn t have any positive response. I don t know how they got 1K reviews with 4.5 rating
very tasty food, good quality, amazing job, cant complain. less greasy food compared to many other places and not the common rice used everywhere much better. have to try it to know the good.
Been here many times. One of the best South Indian restaurants in town.
Felt like home with the biryani here
There are a lot of fake reviews about the food. Shame on you guys....
We truly enjoyed the authentic flavour of Dindukal thalapakatti biriyani. And delicious chicken 65. We visited this restaurant several times but the consistency of taste, services. Always exceeds the expectations of customers who carves for biriyani. Special Thanks to Ramya, who took our order via phone. And made it ready on time. Kudos to entire team. We love to visit over and over again.
I will suggest all briyani lovers to go to the restaurant and eat mutton briyani. It was really good. felt really happy after eating the food. worth for the money. They are giving seeraga samba rice which adds somuch falvour.
Bought Mutton briyani yesterday and it was really good! Will definitely visit this place again!! The pachadi(raitha) was also really good!!
Great experience, delicious food
The only restaurant that gives seeraga samba rice which is really finger licking. They are giving vanjaram fry also in affordable price.
Our freinds visited this restaurant on a busyday. The atmosphere is so good and the dish seeraga sambar rice is a must try. Will definitely gonna visit this place again for their food and mango lassi is the best refreshment drink they have. Great apppreciation to keerthana who made our journey in the restaurant so smooth.
First to be clear, this is not the original Dindigul Thalapakatti. But the best seeraga samba biriyani you could get in Toronto. I tried both chicken and mutton biriyani, they were fantastic, rich in spices. Price is bit high, but the taste justified it. Also the gravy they give with the biriyani was splendid.
Wonderful food
The food was ok. We had to wait for 45 minutes to get one dish. Service is too bad. Just one server to manage everything. Surely not going back again.
Authentic taste!
Best Parathas in town. Quiet ambient Parking available Clean environment Food : 5/5 |
The food was really amazing. You should definitely try mutton biriyani.
Exquisite layers of flavour in every spoonful Thalappakattus Biriyani enchants with its rich, aromatic blend of spices and tender meat. A true culinary gem for Biriyani aficionados!
Amazing food! Tried the mutton biriyani, shrimp biriyani, beef Kothu porotta and regular porotta... very delicious, indeed! Definitely coming back here soon!
One of the best briyani s I ve ever had. Will come back again.
The food and service is excellent
Tried the mutton, chicken 65 and tandoori chicken biryani. They all tasted incredibly delicious. Highly recommended.
Great flavorful food. Went here with my family and every one of us loved the food.
Amazing food especially mutton Biryani the spice levels were on point
I got the mutton dindigal biriyani and it was absolutely delicious but the meat was a bit dry and the rice was a little cold. The freshness was missing. On the other hand, for my girlfriend, it was the total opposite. She got the fish cutlet, fish curry and two parottas. It was really good that she brought the leftovers to her sister and her husband. They all got food poisoning from it. They ve been in and out the washroom all night and my girlfriend especially has been puking from it. We know it s not for any other reasoning. She hadnt eaten anything different other than this. For a restaurant with this many reviews, you should be more considerate of your food quality and customers. If it takes 20 mins to make parottas, they should put more care into their meat dishes that can break or make their customer s experience.
Calm and quiet place to have a try of authentic dindigul thalappakkaty style biryani. The taste is not so good as the authentic one that we had back home but we can get a seventy percent of the same. Normal chicken biryani is good conpared to other flavour biryanis like chukka . we will aslo get chicken and mutton thali
I have been here thrice and the experience has always been incredible. The food is scrumptious may it be biryani, the curries or appetisers. On the top, is the onion salad served along with the biryanis. Its a cozy comfy place. Would recommend it !!
Very neat ambience and good biryani.... really liked it
Had their chicken 65 biriyani and mutton biriyani. Really authentic taste and the quantity is also really good. The customer service provided is also amazing
Great Tamil style food.
Must try out this place ..Best Biriyani in GTA
This is our first visit and we are very impressed by their food especially that chicken 65 biryani the taste was too good and mouth watering.I highly recommend this dish.
Amazing food, great dine in experience and excellent service.
One of best Biryani restaurants in the city.
I really loved the food and service here. My family and I went there for lunch and ordered their chicken briyani thali (weekend special) ,parotta, chicken 65, egg briyani and masala tea Chicken 65 - one of the best in Canada I would say, Its the only restaurant that didnt add any artificial food color to the 65. I really loved it, its very tender, the flavor was really good and there was no artificial food color added (5star) Parotta - wow, they took 15mins to bring it, and its fresh, soft, and layered and tasted so good(5star) Chicken briyani - Its like South Indian Dindigul briyani and all the masala was blended and tasted so good(like homemade Dindigul briyani i would say) (4star) Their raitha has a special mention, its too good Chicken briyani thali - They took 30mins to bring this since it has a lot of items, except shrimp thokku everything was good. (Shrimp thokku was not at all good), but the fish 65, chicken, gravies are so good and especially gulab jamun (it has the kova taste) Masala tea - machine made and its Average Overall service was so good, that girl was polite and quick. Food was so good except for the few i mentioned. Its good if you like South Indian food.
Great dosa quality and portion!
Maybe because I went in on a stat holiday, food was below average and overpriced in general.
Totally fake of real Dindigul Thalappakatti , ippadi oru Polappu thewaya?
I had some great hours at the resturent and the experience was amazing. surly recommend to others for their costumer service especially Food also . I definitely plan on comming back
That was one of the best lunch I had. One must try it whenever possible. The best part was the customer service, felt like my home town. Food
One of the best biriyanis I ever had. Well cooked meat with ample amount of spices in the right mixture. The aroma gave an authentic feel of Thalappakattu style from South India. Such a savouring experience and highly recommended to all biriyani lovers. Bon Appétit !
Amazing amazing amazing mutton Biryani.... Romba nalla biryani . Literally the best biryani i ate in last 2 years... Felt like Authentic Dindikul thalapakatti taste
Great atmosphere, good service, good food with good vibe.
Thalapakattu Biriyani at its best.
Great food and portion size
Went in for lunch time for a chicken 65 biryani . It was $20 which was really overpriced and it was all just rice with 6 small pieces of chicken. Didn t taste good either
Went based on reviews, it was not upto the quality. One of the worst briyani in town. Too much uncooked masala flavor.
Chicken 65 is dry, no flavour, it should be called chicken pakora. Very much overpriced for the quantity they offer. Boneless chicken biryani is just shredded chicken with biryani rice. Food : 1/5
I had Chicken 65 biriyani with chilli chicken, and my kids had Jaffna spicy fries. The food was fantastic. I tasted back-home chilli chicken after a long time. My kids loved the fries. I would come back again and again. The people in the restaurant were very kind to my kids
Excellent place to experience authentic Indian spices. Very healthy ingredients-not oily
One of the best goat Briyani I found in town, people need to know about this Kid-friendliness: The best Recommended dishes Mutton Biriyani
I ate the chicken biryani, which was outstanding! Perfectly flavored with lots of chicken and an egg as well. Will definitely be ordering from here often and trying more of their menu items. Service was extremely friendly and inviting. This is home cooking and generational flavours at its finest!
Tasty Biriyani.
The food here is so good if you haven t been here you should definitely try it
Mutton Bryani was on point. Butter chicken could be better. Chicken 65 was good just a little oily. Highly recommend this place.
Amazing food, really loved the perfect blend of South Indian flavors. Biriyani was a delicacy, absolutely on of the best in Toronto. Really quick and swift service. Would definitely come again.
You guys our the best for biriyani
Great authentic Biryani. Vegetarian options: Sufficient options for vegetarians Food : 5/5 |
Had dinner ..we tried chicken briyani and kothu parota with pepper chicken..the service and ambiance was good and the food was okay ..
The chicken biryani was super good, I really loved it and the spice level was top tier! Great spot for Biryani! More people should know about this spot !
It was tasty n authentic briyani..quite n neat place and service is excellent..
I always buy my go to chicken biryani in this restaurant. As always, this store never disappoints me so I will give my 5 stars.
The quantity for the biryani is a joke and eighteen dollars for a biryani is too much for such a quantity and no ambience to speak of either. The taste is good though.
Came for dosa but it was not available. So ordered samosas which they gave with ketchup(no chutney). Place and food is ok. Food
Feels like homely food, delicious food, excellent food quality and taste with good customer service.
Good food and excellent customer service.
Its not the orginal thalappakatti ... Not worth the money
Loved the mutton biryani
Chicken biryani and chilli chicken were good.
one of the best place and authentic food- And write mutton briyani and chicken kothu roti was awesome
Had mutton biriyan with chicken chukka, the taste was very good
I had the Chicken Biryani it was perfectly cooked I highly recommend this place if your hungry for tasty food you will be coming back for more
We got Boneless Chicken Biriyani and Mutton Biriyani. The food smelled amazing so we carried it in the trunk so we don t faint on the way home - it was a 30min drive. We got home and weighted the takeout bag because it felt like a lot - 1.86kg of food! It was delicious and a lot of it. Lovely lady at the counter as well :). Thank you!
This restaurants chicken biriyani left me speechless! The flavors were so well-balanced, the chicken was perfectly cooked, and the rice was fluffy and aromatic. Every bite was a delight to my taste buds. I can confidently say this is the best biriyani I have ever had so far. Highly recommended
The food was sooo good and authentic.
The food is really amazing here. My family really loves their chicken biriyani. Their customer service is always exceptional and I will be back to try more items from their menu!
Recently had food from this restaurant. Quantity of the food was so good and taste was also nice. Good place to have delicious food.
Food taste is average and the quantity of food for what we pay doesnt matches
Quality food and service.
Best biryani in town
The temperature outside was -1 degree & yet the heating wasnt on.they made us shift to another place stating its is warmer there but still heating wasnt on & they only had a small heater which we had to personally turn on and position towards our table. We asked if they have dosa & they said they did. The chutneys & sambar were stale & dosa was horrible. We ordered 2 appetizers but those came after the dosa did. Food quality was disappointing.
Honestly some of the best biriyani we ve had in a very long time! So much flavour in everything! We had the mutton biriyani, tandoori chicken, and the mango shake and everything was 10/10. The staff is so welcoming as well it made the experience worth it on all levels. Definitely will be back very soon!
It was very good Biriyani. This is my soul food. One of the best biriyani in town. Highly recommended and people should try it.
I got chicken wings and Jaffna fries I only got 7 pieces of chicken wings even though they said one found it was Less than one found. Very little fries in a medium box. I wasted my $30 dollars. I will never go back to this place.
Biryani taste is good . Try once
Not sure about the food yet but weve been waiting 45 mins for take-out....and still waiting.
One of the best briyani s ever, I had in Canada. Must Try Chicken briyani Flavour is rich and is similar to what we have in Tamil Nadu. Thanks Chef!!!
The food was delicious and awesome
Good customer service and great quality of food was provided
