1960 Lawrence Ave E Unit 13, Scarborough, ON M1R 2Z1, Canada
Modern Indian Eatery serving India fusion food ranging from Butter chicken tacos to Indian street food
Don't be fooled by the 4.4 ratings they have asked their knows to give them 5 stars just for appearance. The food here is TASTELESS, FROZEN, and INEDIBLE. We came here for brunch and ordered tea and samosas. The tea was the worst I have ever had—bland, watery, and lacking any flavor. The samosas were frozen and tasted oily. When I complained to the servers, Mandeep and Nisha, about the food, they blushed awkwardly and said, "We know, sorry." I feel bad for the people who gave 5 stars because they haven't tasted good food yet to call this place the best.
I would honestly say the food is average. Don't understand the 4.5 rating here. I am typing this from the outlet right now. Ordered for tandoori chicken kathi roll but it was nothing but tasteless chicken with coleslaw and chutneys. Attaching a pic for reference. Aloo tikki sliders were good enough but again a dollop of coleslaw or just cabbage with mayo. Dal makhani was very average again. I would say the place deserves a 4.5 rating only if you don't know what Indian food is supposed to taste like.
Eato’s Noodles Burger is a must-try! Located conveniently at 1960 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough, this restaurant offers a creative twist on the traditional burger. The noodles added a fantastic crunch and unique flavor. The staff were welcoming and the service was fast. Great place for a fun and tasty meal. I’ll definitely be back for more!
Worst experience, even they don't know how the malai momos look like , also their spring rolls are frozen all the stuff noodles are hard to chew. I don't know how they run their restaurant. I make a big mistake to order here . I also attached the photos of malai momos, how they actually look like.
I had a terrible experience ordering food from this place. I waited for an hour, and when i finally got food, it was disappointing. The bhatura was raw, the fries were oily, and the sauces were spilling out of the burger. If I could give zero stars, I would. It’s not worth ordering from here, and I would never recommend this place.
I came here not by choice, but at 3am this was the place serving indian food near Lawrence Victoria. we were welcome with warm gestures by Seema and her colleague. I asked for Chhole Bhature and Dahi Bhalla Papdi Chat with some customisations. And both dishes were above my expectations from this small setup. Although they need some improvements in food, but the present food quality is value for money for sure, Please visit here if you are looking for Delhi style Chhole in Scarborough. Btd I loved the Achaar they served, loved it.
Indian street style cuisine on Lawrence avenue in scarborough, it was really good, below is what we tried 1. Veg tandoori momos 4.5/5 - must try 2. Pav bhaaji 2/5 3. Paneer kathi roll 1/5 - did not like it 4. Aloo tikki chat 4/5 5. Aloo tikki sliders -5/5, my favourite
Good food, I liked the Chana bhatura and noodle spring roll the most. They also suggested us several other items - Naan pizza, Tandoori momos, and Butter chicken tacos. I would totally recommend this place if you are looking for authentic Indian street food.
Lady working there is so sweet, food is made with so much love, I do uber eats and also went for the lunch in store, had naan pizza and tacos, it was amazing
Very poor experience. Firstly, noone to attend or receive the customers at the entry. Secondly, food is average. I ordered pav bhaji- I can make better at home. I ordered fries, no dips or ketchup served. Poor service - noone to ask if we need anything else. Ni great ambience. I would discourage going there.
Best indian style momos
Good food and great place to enjoy indian street food. Their Naan pizza and roomali rolls are best!
My experience was excellent by going and eating there......Everything was very nice ..Food, ambiance especially channe bhture and vdaa pav ....,,, Must Try
excellent food and service, nature of servers are very friendly everything is delicious.
chole bhature are best must try.... delicious Vegetarian options: Noodle burger, vada pav, samosa chaat, momos
I tried their roomali rolls and chicken biryani. Authentic Indian flavours and really loved the food. Best chile bhature. Affordable prices and friendly staff.
Best noodle burger, kathi rolls and chole bhature in town. Staff is very hospitable and pricing is affordable.
Staff don t know what they are working on They are confused with big orders They don t know English and how the customer service works Manager thinks the customer is not paying They are working on their on budget They have a mindset that customer s money is worthless I wish I can give negative ratings
The food at eato was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. The staff was friendly. I highly recommend it for a great dining experience!
I tried chilli momos and it was great. The cine and ambience is also very good. Must try location.
I ordered veg momos but they gave me chicken momos and when I asked them they denied saying its not chicken but chaap. Am I fool or what?? Would not recommend this to anyone for sure. The reviews for everything is fake. Do not come here. I wish I would be in India I would have surely complained about this to food safety. But for sure will try to do the same here.
We tried dahi puri which was so bad , the puri was home made fried puri and who puts fennel seeds in dahi puri like what ? If you dont know how to make then please remove it from the menu . Never ever visiting this place again and also dont come here to just Food : 1/5
Vegetarian options: They have increased the price and reduced the quantity Food
Why u call the doordasher early if the order is not ready.
Worst food quality . Too salty and oily . very poor quality of food
Went there with high expectations, but ended being disappointed. I had their veg momos and noodle spring rolls. Momos were below average compared to other ones I had, honestly frozen momos taste better than theirs. But spring rolls were absolutely tasteless, the noodle filling was literally bland. There were no flavours in the filling and the outer crust of spring roll was thick, almost felt like chewing a raw dough.
I have been to EatO multiple times and had Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav, Noodle Burger, Rumali roti rolls and their Papdi chaat. All of these are extremely good and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a quick Indian street food bite without a hole in the pocket. Cherry on the top, they also have BOGO on UberEats.
Best place to hangout best food veg noodles n channe bhature was 10/10 full authentic taste of India Highly recommended
Best restaurant to eat indian food. Loved authentic taste of chana bhatura. Highly recommended place to visit.
Nice street food. MUst try
I love this place soo much! They have so many yummy options but my all time fav were Dal Makhni and Amritsari Kultcha
I usually eat from eato when I crave for momos. This time i decided to try something new and ordered the wrap that usually comes with fries on the side. Honestly, the fries were stale and the oil seemed bad. The wrap just had lettuce and i couldn t find more than 3/4 pieces of paneer, which I guess is absurd, since we are paying for paneer roll not a lettuce roll . I literally live 5 minutes away and I placed the order over the phone and I was there even when they were preparing the order, which clearly means that they gave me the old fries which were not at all crispy.
The concept seemed interesting so I thought Id try but was underwhelmed, and the portion size was embarrassing for the price. Maybe an off night but I dont think Ill be back any time soon.
The worst samosa chat ever. If you are not willing to make your food properly, I really recommend you not to sale. Maybe that s why it was on a deal called buy one get one free.
A solid 5 for the food and the restaurant.. one of the best batura I ve ever had in Canada if you re living in Scarborough, I d recommend you to try their food Atleast once you ll never regret BEST IN THE TOWN SO FAR.
I tried momos , chana kulcha , kathi roll and bhel puri everything were so delicious. Definitely will come again . Food
The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere with fast and helpful service. The food is fresh, tasty, and comes in good portions for the price. The place is clean and comfortable, making it great for any type of visit.
I recently dined at this restaurant , and it was an explosion of flavors! The restaurant offers a range of Indian street food, and every dish we tried was a hit. We started with the Momos, which were perfectly steamed with a spicy dipping sauce that packed a punch. The outer shell was soft, and the filling was flavorful and juicy. Next, we tried the Chaat, a delightful mix of tangy, sweet, and spicy flavors. The crispiness of the sev, combined with the softness of the boiled potatoes and the tang of tamarind sauce, made for an addictive dish. The Chana Bhatura was the star of the meal. The bhaturas were fluffy and light, and the chana (chickpea curry) had a rich, hearty flavor with just the right amount of spice. It was a comforting and satisfying dish. Finally, the Pav Bhaji was a delicious end to our meal. The buttery pav buns were perfectly toasted, and the bhaji (mashed vegetable curry) was full of vibrant spices and flavors. It was served with a dollop of butter, which made it even more indulgent. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian street food. I ll definitely be returning!
Good serves
It s a must go place for Indian street food. Tried tandoori momos and bhel puri. Biryani is also very tasty. Really loved the food, totally Delhi style food!!
Worth not the price. Ordered two kathi rolls chaap inside rolls was smelling. Even the customer service is not good. They are just after charging money for every little stuff but not offering any quality in return. The lady at the front was also kind of rude without any reason. The owner should try to re train their team
Overall Yummy
Poor food, poor quantity, very costly. Don t understand, how they even have a 4.4 rating. Don t trust this place at all. I have been to this place about 3 times and the experience remains the same. Samosas Chaat and Aaloo Tikki taste stale. Just a lot of bhajis and sauces on the top make it look good but it tastes so bad. Try improving your food rather than asking your knowns to add a damn review for you.
Good food and service
Seema and ashida good service and chicken pizza was good
Got chilly momos from here paid 16$ for 8 peices so basically 2$ for each momos Didnt get onion & capsicum Food
Tandoori Momos were good and the Bollywood theme on Wall is interesting.
Vada pav was great and Naan pizza was outstanding..tea was not strong and had more milk but I guess thats my personal preference...good staff
Mandeep was very nice and helpful. Loved the service and food. Would come again.
Great customer service by Mandeep. Food was fresh and tasty.
The management is good but manager is very rude and charachtless and misbehave
Best noodle burger, Amritsari kulcha, channa Bhatura, chaat were yummy Went along my family Simple cozy and best place will visit soon
The food is so amazing . I like masala tea it was so well prepared and the Chana bhatura was very delicious , the momos were really good . You must go and try Thanks !!!!
Everything is excellent and nice . You may try following dishes - chana bhatuta , momos , kathi rolls , vada pav , etc .
Please don t go n try it And genuinely, i went Wednesday night and food was all frozen . They were heating it and taste was weird Also, the maida used in chole bhature tasted like it was not fresh. It tasted sour. Also, we ordered 40 minutes ago still the order didn t come Just dont look at them and eat
Yesterday night, I went to Eato Modern Eatery and had an amazing experience. They offers an exceptional dining experience in Scarborough. The fusion dishes are creative and full of flavor. Their pizza, curries and tacos, momos are standout items, blending traditional and modern tastes perfectly. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is attentive, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions. I just love this place. Please must visit.
Awesome place... steven gave an excellent service... well deserving a step up
Went on Sunday 1:00pm. Was happy with food and service. Thank u. Ordered naan and chicken tikka masala. Chole bhature
Good staff and really good food!
Worst experience, we ordered noodles and tandoori momos. Very bad in taste
Dog food
Great food and service by Ashita. Must recommend
Eato is an absolute gem at 1960 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough! I tried their Channa Bhatura and was blown away by the flavors. The bhatura was perfectly crispy yet soft, and the channa was seasoned to perfection. The ambiance was cozy, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic and delicious Indian cuisine.
Its experience overall good.....i like too much its CHOLE BHATOORE very yummy
Amazing food quality, very hygienic, good facilities, must try once
Asked for Meal and they denied for curries. 2 girls working over there gave wrong and said this is the only thing that we offer. Once we complained that we are here for specific madurai parantha that you prepare on Pan then they got that to us. Also that was not cooked properly. It was not a good experience this time. Previous employees were very good in customer service.
Yummy delicious and tasty food I have ever taste......
If youre in Scarborough, Eato is a must-visit! Located at 1960 Lawrence Ave E, their Channa Bhatura is out of this world. The dish was served hot and fresh, with the bhatura being fluffy and light, and the channa rich and flavorful. The service was prompt, and the restaurant had a welcoming vibe. Will definitely be coming back for more!
Delicious Biryani at Eato! The flavors were perfect, and the portion was generous. Great location at 1960 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough. Excellent service too. Must-try!
visited this place with my family and everything. The food was very delicious and pocket friendly This is my regular spot for Indian food cravings Must try channa bhatura, pav bhaji, Kathi rolls and momos
I went to eaTo with my family the experience was great the staff is very cooperative and the food is so delicious . I tried Naan pizza , Chana bhatura and momos the Naan pizza was crispy and delicious . Bhatura was well cooked and fried . You must try it s cheaper and yummy .
Best Indian items. Loved the chicken items, Chana bhatura and spring rolls. Food
Very tasty food. I am flabbergasted!
I recently dined here and was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was inviting with its modern decor and warm lighting. The service was attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience throughout. The menu offered a diverse selection of dishes, each one beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I particularly enjoyed momos, which was perfectly cooked and creatively plated. Overall, this restaurant exceeded my expectations with its impeccable service, delicious food, and inviting atmosphere, making it a memorable dining destination worth revisiting.
Vegetarian options: All items that we ordered were good, its very rare with us that all items are good. Food
Best indian food in this area.
Love the vibe of the place. So calming and amazing. The food was made fresh and very clean. Served hot and neatly. Service was so kind and respectful. Nisha really made it comfortable for me and my friend. The tea Nisha made was spectacular. I would definitely come again! Especially to try the Channa Batura

I can asure you guys if you are vegetarian best place in scarborough. Must try my favourite RAS MALAI then Momos are dam good . I tried chilli momos. Food
Food is superb, tasty and clean . Every dish has unique taste . Must try
I have had Indian food from so many places in Toronto, yet eaTo just does it better. My favourite is the soya tandoori chaap kathi roll. They have such great quantity in affordable prices. Do give it a try!
Amazing food and don t forget to order choule bhature
An overrated place for Indian street style food. I tried a few dishes and I can come to the conclusion of over priced items with small quantities and not at all a customer focus approach. Chana bhatura which u can find at a proper Indian restaurant as Charminar with decent quantity and ambience with service is charged extra with less quantity. Taste is ok. Samosa, they make it with a secret recipe, where the filling is less and the batter stuff is more. Make sure to check with Eato masala they put in it...which makes it super salty. When u ask why? They say they also cater to Canadians so they give it with an extra punch. In short samosa doesnt taste like what it should be as street style samosa. Butter Paneer Poutine, I can recommend trying. It has this best combination of butter paneer with fries which gives a unique flavor. But also at a high price - which can be justified. They smartly use round containers which technically gives small portions and hence again the same less quantity. But at the same price the famous Little Moe and Yummies give the right value for your money. Talking about restaurant. It has a beautiful Bollywood theme and good vibe but only till you are first to enter and grab the seat. If more than 8 people it suddenly becomes a tiny space. Washrooms are always under maintenance for customers. They are never available . I am a regular customer and notice this on every visit. The staff is decent, helpful, cheerful on the toes but maybe the management is not giving them authority to show their skills to the fullest Ms Askshita, Ms Kavan, Mr Steven are amazing staff and very friendly to suggest you items. Customer focus has been ignored. They will put extra salty masala to cater to Canadian food lovers and not give them authentic samosa taste on the other hand they will count 50cent plastic mini container for chutney which customers can add according to their taste. Vegetarian options: Butter paneer Poutine is a must try.
An amazing restaurant with Indian flavors. Loved their Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken they are the best . Friendly staff members. Would definitely recommend!!
Eato is absolute a best place Scarborough! I tried their Dhaba Chicken Curry, Naan and Chicken Kathi Roll and was blown away by the flavors. Curry was well seasoned to perfection. The ambiance was cozy, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic and delicious Indian cuisine.
I tried their Chole Kulcha and it was really delicious. The staff was also very polite and the service was great. I will definitely recommend to visit eaTO.
The food here is frozen and the taste is very basic and bland. I tried to ask as to why they were serving frozen food to which they had no answer. Wouldn t recommend this to anyone
I visited this place early in the morning with a friend, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. We ordered three items for dine-in: tea, which was akin to boiled water; Aloo tikki sliders, which were manageably good; and samosas, which were just passable. The situation worsened when, despite there being only two tables occupied, we had to repeatedly ask for our already paid bill. It took three requests over 20 minutes before it was finally brought to us by another employee. Additionally, the staff appeared to lack basic customer service training. While I understand that anyone can have an off day, but in order to make appealing ambience for customers, effective training is crucial for restaurant management to ensure consistent service. I hope the establishment will consider these aspects for improvement.
The food at Eato Restaurant is exceptional. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The variety on the menu caters to all tastes, and the ingredients are clearly top-notch.
the mango drink doesnt taste like a 4$ drink... the front door requires extra strength to open it. Food is good but pricey. The drinks are priced pretty high IMO. Service and Atmosphere is 5 stars.
Today, I ordered tandoori momos from this place and I really enjoyed , the taste was delicious.Overall,my experienced was great.
Amazing food , i liked spring rolls & chana bhatura
Great food I ordered momos , Kathi roll , spring rolls, burger..overall , my experience at here was delightful. The tandoori momos were a highlight, offering a delicious and unique twist on a beloved dish. Combined with excellent service and a vibrant ambiance, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
Best place in Scarborough. Staff is so polite and give professional service 10/10.
I tired burger and Chole bhature it was delicious would definitely recommend this place.
The butter chicken was delicious. I was surprised it came with a salad but then again, it is a fusion restaurant. Looking forward to their tacos
Good food
Great taste, awesome service!!
Terrible experience. We tried butter paneer tacos, it was so full of preservatives me and my friends have a severe stimach ache. The momos were full of food colour and didnt taste fresh at all. The paneer in the Kathi roll was completely uncooked. Not exactly the kind of food you would expect when you pay 13$ for a taco. All in all not worth the money. We have been burping since 2 hours. I have no idea how the FnB department gives them a good to go. Save your money, more importantly save your health, a big No.
Everything is so delicious..
Great food!
Great Indian street food options. My personal favorite is their chili chicken momos and paneer Kathi roll. Most rolls come with fresh and flavourful masala fries! Food : 5/5
Quality of food was awesome
Like the place , food is delicious .Excellent service.
Very good food. Chana bhatura and noodle spring roll are best!
Satisfied service with good quality food
Amazing food
Good food
Food was overall good, paneer kathi roll and fries too is amazing, you must try
So i went at this restaurant last week and it was my worst experience ever in my last 5 years in canada even the owner was present their at that time the customer service was 0 i had to stand their for like 5 mins before they could even take my order and then they were having very ruthless/rude behaviour towards me as well as other customers i wolud never recommend this ridiculous place to anyone now comes the food quality it was next to worse half cooked food and that to was cold the quality and quantity both were very bad so either improve your business or shut it down REPLY - first of all i am not free to defame somebody and second of all you need to have fame to be defamed and i can provide you with the proof when i ordered from your restaurant
Worst Indian restaurant ever
Good food
The food was very great. Especially the pizza was the best. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The host Mandeep was very friendly.
Good customer service by Seema. I ordered veg biryani and it was great
Exploring Indian street-style cuisine on Lawrence Avenue in Scarborough was fantastic! The Veg Tandoori Momos and Aloo Tikki Sliders were highlights, each earning a 5/5 rating. Other tasty dishes included Pav Bhaji, Paneer Kathi Roll, and Aloo Tikki Chat. Excellent food and service overall also scored a perfect 5/5, enhanced by ample free parking. This spot is a must-visit for fans of Indian street food!
I recently had a fantastic meal at a restaurant where everything was top-notch. The pizza was crispy and delicious, a real standout. The service was also excellent, thanks to our host Mandeep who was super attentive and helpful. I definitely recommend this place if youre looking for great food and wonderful service. Its an experience you wont want to miss.

Im thrilled about my experience at eaTO! Tandoori momos giving you Delhi feels have been an incredible taste journey and chaap biryani hitting the taste spots. Also the Rasmalai with rose petal not only looks tempting but it tastes divine. I had an absolutely delightful time!
Good service by two girls working there.. recommended Service
Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant that left a lasting impression on me, thanks to its exceptional food and service. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the pizza, which was perfectly cooked to achieve a delightfully crispy crust, complemented by a rich, flavorful topping that was both satisfying and memorable. What made the dining experience even more special was the level of service we received. Our host, Mandeep, went above and beyond to ensure that our meal was enjoyable. His attentiveness and professionalism added greatly to our evening, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our visit. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone in search of excellent cuisine coupled with stellar service. Whether youre a local or just passing through, its a dining destination that promises not just a meal, but an experience that is truly worth indulging in. If youre looking for a place where culinary skill and customer satisfaction are top priorities, this is the spot to go.
Seema is very friendly and cute food is good!
If you want that authentic North Indian taste without breaking your bank, go to Eato on Lawrence Avenue. We started with the Chana Bhature, reminiscent of Delhi street food with its rich, spicy chickpea curry and fluffy bhature. The Naan Pizza was a unique twist of comfort blended with Indian flair. The masala fries were a crunchy treat with Indian spices drizzled over them. The true star of the show, however, was the Delhi-style Chicken Tandoori Momos, which were filled with flavorful minced meat and cooked to perfection on the grill of the tandoor. Every bite was full of smoky goodness. The Eato ambiance is relaxed and inviting and does well for a laid-back meal with friends or family. The service is prompt and friendly, making up the rest of the experience. If youre looking for North Indian cuisine on a budget that doesnt compromise on taste, Eato is definitely worth a visit. Be prepared for authentic flavors that bring you straight to the bustling streets of Delhi!
Awesome food as always. Have been a regular at this place for a while now. Must try are the Kathi rolls and the sliders.
Best momo i ever test so far in Toronto
Best Momos in Toronto !! Try it guys
Love the chicken biryani and great ambience
Overall experience was good and the food was so delicious makhani momos are lit and kathi rolls are amazing, it a good place to spend time with street food , I love the fast service most and everything was worth it . Every person from india should go and try there delicious food .
Ordered chicken biryani and it tasted like microwaved. The cilantros on top were really old and brown from which we know the biryani is itself old. Just giving one star because the taste of gajar halwa was little good but the quantity was really low! Needs to be improved a lot.
Appalling Customer Service: My experience at Eato was marred by the worst customer service imaginable. From the moment I entered, I encountered incompetence and rudeness at every turn. Owners Threats: Shockingly, when I requested a refund for a soda that was never served on time, the owner accused me of blackmail. This is unacceptable behavior from any establishment. Mismanagement and Blame-Shifting: Despite waiting for an extended period and not receiving my complete order, the staff showed no remorse. Instead, they blamed me for not explicitly requesting a drink with my food. Refusal of Refund: The owners refusal to provide a simple refund for an undelivered item, coupled with his aggressive response, showcases a complete lack of professionalism. Strong Warning: I urge everyone to steer clear of Eato. Such disregard for customer satisfaction and resorting to intimidation tactics should not be tolerated in any business. This review serves as a cautionary tale to potential customers, highlighting the appalling treatment and lack of accountability at Eato. =================================================== Responses to the Restaurant Comments on my Review: Despite your detailed response, the main issue remains unresolved: the failure to provide the complete and timely service I paid for. Its clear that the masala soda, part of my order, was not served as expected. Rather than acknowledging this mistake and promptly issuing a refund, I was met with excuses and accusations regarding my reaction. Let me clarify: I did not raise my voice or resort to intimidation until my reasonable request for a refund was ignored. Good customer service goes beyond mere words; it requires owning up to mistakes and fixing them promptly. Your offer of a complimentary meal the next day as compensation for your oversight is both impractical and insulting. Why should I invest more time and effort due to your failure to meet basic service standards? A truly customer-centric approach involves admitting errors, promptly issuing refunds, and possibly offering additional gestures of goodwill to ensure customer satisfaction. Instead, I find myself stuck in an unnecessary argument over a matter that could have been quickly resolved. I urge you to reconsider your stance and show a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. Until then, I have no choice but to seek resolution through other means.
Smells really bad. Though they had variety but the food was average to below average. Non-functional washroom.
The food sucks in this restaurant. I had pav bhaji which was tasteless. When said to the manager, he replied in a very rude manner. This restaurant is not at all recommended. It is a total embarrassment.
I had my best dinner ever here, regular customer since 1 month now.... Ashita is the best cook, really appreciate her cooking and nice behavior towards customer. Best and best
Nice place and food must visit and also at affordable prices
I dined here, great food and service. Staff was helpful and friendly. Masala fries is something and worth trying
Yesterday experience was great we had noodle burger, dahi puri and soya biryani that was good.
I just ordered Naan Pizza - Chicken. I believe with time the quality of the pizza has gone way down it was tasteless and chicken pieces were nowhere to be found only 3-4 pieces on each pizza. There was offer buy 1 get one free very much disappointed that I spend $$ money on this never going to buy anything from here again. Thank you
Smaller place with a seating capacity of about 15-18 people at the very best. The food is good and somehow I liked their EaTo fries, and I am not a Fries person at all, but they do something the McDonalds or many other places offering fries don t. And with that, the dahi bhalla I tried felt fresh and had all the components in the right ratio, tasted good enough to finish till the last drop. Vegetarian options: Plenty.
Food is very delicious and good Service. Atmosphere is good
Authentic taste with good service the of handling customer was also nice Food
Aura of smell was good and the food i liked most was butter chicken
Whats the most rational thing to do after returning to Toronto from a 6-month stay in Mumbai? Seeking out a nearby Indian restaurant of course! How else would you get over the homesickness? Hoping to find some good Indian food in Scarborough, I headed over to eaTO Modern Indian Eatery (1960 Lawrence Ave E Unit 13, Scarborough, ON MR 2Z1). Inspired from the streets of India, this tiny eatery specialises in Indian street food and fusion dishes, combining classic Indian flavours with western fast food. Onto what we ordered! While the paneer tikka naan pizza featured tender paneer and a delicious medley of well-cooked vegetables making for a great meal, we found the chaat dishes to be quite lacking. The puris in both, the sev puri and dahi puri, were a bit stale, lacking the crispiness that usually characterises a fresh batch, while the chutneys had an overwhelming flavour of fennel seeds to compensate for a lack of other spices. Despite their potential for a delightful blend of sweet, tangy, and spicy flavors, both the dishes lacked the freshness, balance, and depth of flavor that define a good chaat plate. The saving grace, however, was the badam milk that all 3 of us ordered after our meal. A creamy delight, rich with the nutty essence of almonds, the drink offered a refreshing experience with every sip we took, making for a great end to the dinner. Absolutely loved my experience at Eato! The food was delicious and the ambiance gave off old classic Bollywood vibes, bringing back wonderful childhood memories. Its a fantastic spot to hang out with friends.
This is the worst place to have any food there. There food is uncooked and tasteless. It is better to waste your money on any useless things but would not recommend to go here for food . The food is worst and tasteless
The momos and the kathi roll is fantastic. Also the girl name Ashika she is so humble and nice. We love her service.
The service is amazing and the girl who is working here names Ashika. She is so kind and humble
Great customer service and Very delicious food specially the butter paneer I loved it

A nice place to take away delicious food with an affordable price.
I had an awesome experience dining in at eaTO. The food was great and tasty , really appreciate the service and food provided by Mandeep Kaur. Must visit spot if you are around here. Kudos to Mandeep Kaur.
Vegetarian options: garbage, food and everything cold I waste my 32.42 and 40 minutes w8 ofter cold food I recommend wasted money Food
Loved the food, do try their tandoori momos and masala soda. We had the momos, pav bhaji, dahi bhalla, golagappe, kathi roll, masala soda and fries. Everything was amazing but their golgappa paani recipe can be better, it s just not as good. And Seema, our host was really nice too.
Best food in town. I have been coming heres since this restaurant was opened and they good flavourful food. Food : 5/5
Ordered via Uber eats, the momo was looking ok but I m pretty sure that was also stale cuz it felt weird in my mouth after an hour, the kathi roll and rice sucked, It s definitely stale food we got, it tasted so weird and I feel like it s a case of food poisoning; don t recommend, TERRIBLE
Had a great experience here. All cuisines were mouth watering. Thankyou eato.
Ordered the food online for delivery, the very first thing it took more than an hour to get it delivered because the driver notified that it was not ready when she went for the pickup. Secondly, they didn t mentioned veg and non-veg on the containers. And moreover, the packing was so poor, the sauce was spilled in the bag coz the container was not closed properly. Also, I didn t find the food worth the hype of this place.
I visited here couple of times. Very small place. So ventilation is not good. Whole time I could feel oil getting into my eyes. My eyes started hurting. Music is veryyyy loud. So hard to hear what other person is saying. Therefore, other people try to speak louder to talk, making to annoying place. I like the food. Food is okay. But the worst ambience. Waiting time is long even if I ordered one item only. I wait long. I visited three four time, but now I feel like visiting there anymore cuz of feel annoyed at the end.
There nan pizza is awesome. And the brownie shake is yum. The seating are was very tidy and clean. Also great service provided by kawal .
It was a awesome place for eatable items and beverages.Really,I am obsessed with the service done by kawal. Everything was mouthwatering. i will be visiting back soon.
Chilly steamed Momos were yummy and price was reasonable as well. It has small area dine-in area that can accommodate around 20 people. Overall good experience! Food
Liked their Naan pizza good fusion and their Aloo slider, It was slightly spicy but was really good.
Came in to get takeout and had to wait about 45mins for our food, but the staff was very friendly. Ordered the Tandoori Chicken Momos, Dahi Puri, Paneer Tikka Naan Pizza and the Chicken Biryani. I would definitely skip out on the chicken biriyani, it lacked salt and really didn t have any flavour. Would definitely recommend the Momos and the Naan pizza though. They were really flavourful and delicious. I was really hoping to try the Masala Soda, but it was sold out
The food is delicious, and the staff is exceedingly polite and welcoming. However, the relatively high prices might deter me from returning.
Excellent Dietary restrictions: No Food : 5/5 |
The food was delicious and the ambience is quite good.
I had makhani chicken momos. Chicken was rubbery, very poor quality. Momos covering was thick. I don t recommend especially for momos.
Food was amazing Tandoori momos are must try thing
Vishal was so friendly and also the food was amazing.
Momos are ok not good, but rest all the items on the menu are tasteless
Had a great time here! The food was amazing, great atmosphere and the staff was super nice. Especially loved the tandoori momos and rumali roll
The worst chicken biriyani, I ve ever had. It was just onion masala and not at all spicy but sweet.
We ordered Noodle Spring Rolls - 4/10 and Butter Chicken Tacos - 7/10 there isn t any flavour in noodle spring rolls, very bland and butter chicken tacos were good but like the average good not worth the 4.5 stars
Won t recommend to anyone as food wasn t prepared properly and the taste was too bad
When we got there it smelled like a public bathroom, we got butter chicken rice bowl, masala fries, tacos. naan was the only food that had flavour. The food barely had taste to it. We didnt finish our food. Felt like we wasted our money. Wouldn t recommend it.
Food is totally worse. We ordered manchurian, spring rolls, fries and tandoori tacos. We didn t liked a single thing. Everything was just frozen food.
Food is to good and staff are also so friendly. Definitely i will visit soon again. Food
Nice food. I like noodle burger and Chana bhatura.
The masala soda at this place is truly exceptional. Its the best in town. Highly recommend! Also the momos is really good and at a very affordable pricing! Masala soda and rolls, channa bhatura is must try
Best Samosa in Toronto!
The place is very tiny to sit. I have tried their tandoori Momos which is not at all tasty, prices are very expensive but to be honest no taste at all. I saw so many promotional videos on tik tok about this place but worst place ever. I also tried noodle spring rolls filled with oil. Not recommended at all.
Amazing food and service

Great service by mandeep. Amazing experience. Coming back soon
I ordered biryani which was the worst till now I ever had. It seemed there was food colour. The taste was totally imbalanced.

TLDR : Tandoori Momos - 2.5 / 5 Still mixed opinions about this place for a solid recommendation for Indian Fast Food eaTO where novelty meets Indian street food. Ordered in street snacks from this space last day. The restaurant has a variety of options, ranging from chaats, samosa sliders, vada pav, pav bhaji, butter chicken, tandoori, makhani, afghani momos, lamb kathi roll, to create your own bowls. The menu looked promising and I was excited to try some of their signature dishes. I ordered the tandoori momos with minced chicken inside, which are steamed dumplings marinated in tandoori spices and grilled in a clay oven. They sounded mouth-watering and I was expecting a burst of flavour and juiciness. The momos have 4 modes of preparation to choose from : Tandoori, Malai, Chili and Makhani. However, I was very disappointed when I received my order. The momos were raw and undercooked, the chicken was pink and rubbery, and the tandoori sauce was bland and watery. Giving eaTO a rating of 2.5 out of 5 stars, but I look forward to trying this a few times to see if there is a change in the same.
Love the food
Great food and atmosphere
I ordered butter chicken tacos last night . The butter chicken was hard to chew. The whole meal was spoiled and made me sick.
Best Indian food in town Wide food options Food : 5/5

Parking: Too many vacant spots Food
Vegetarian options: varieties of options Parking: enough space Food : 4/5 |
Love the street style food here! The noodle spring rolls and makhani momos take me back there each time.
Naan pizza is 10/10 Very creative Fresh and delicious Food
everything we had was undercooked, cold in the middle (samosa chaat, spring rolls, manchurian etc) i wished the restaurant was a bit better as i would have returned. Quite disappointed as its not cheap considering the ambience
I love their momos, naan pizza , noodle spring rolls. I really like the place. Very friendly staff and the food is available at reasonable prices.
It was good restaurant with varieties of Indian dishes and snaks .The food was delicious and the services are fast ,you dont have to wait long .
Ordered aalo tikki chaat and it was abysmal. One tip only order the chaat if you like it bland with no onions, dahi, or chutneys except the green chutney. Tikkis were soggy too. Disappointed.
